    Hasn't set fit

This is my worst-fitting Panache bra (Panache and Elomi bras fit me the best so far). None of my other bras in this brand have wrinkling or gaping in the cup. I love Panache, but this bra just doesn't work. I've only kept it because I haven't been able to get more T-shirt bras in my new size. The cups have a wide gore separation and a long wire length, so it fits weird. My other Panache bras have a shorter separation between the cups (where the top of the gore is). Most of my bras are about an inch apart at the top of the gore, this bra spaces the cups 1 1/4 inches apart at the top. Combined with the 14 inch wire length and the odd placement of the straps, there is a gap of fabric under the boobs and up at the top. I like the width of the straps, but they pull and gape a little because I'm not filling the cup correctly.

  2. Me: close set, shallow, full on bottom.

Nice material, comfortable, and a nice shade of pale pink (and I hate pink!). Generally fits pretty well. There's a little bit of space on the bottom of the cups (but I also tried a 30DD which was way too small) and the lace gets itchy if I get sweaty. These are minor complaints.

    Bra description:

A plain bra with smooth, moulded cups made out of the thinnest and most pliable foam I've encountered so far (not counting spacer knit). The foam on the inside of the cups is fused to comfortable cotton jersey, the outside of the cups has a smooth, slightly shiny, knit overlay that reminds me a bit of swimwear lycra. The wings are also made out of a 'swimwear' lycra-like material and very stretchy. The straps are only partly adjustable. The non-adjustable part of the straps and the top edge of the wings are made out of a continuous strip of elastic encased within a folded under strip of ... the same 'swimwear' lycra-like material. The adjustable part of the straps are made of wide, ordinary strap elastic. All findings on this bra, including the hooks and eyes, are black. There are no decorative elements whatsoever.

    Bra fit:

As said, this bra is the oddest fit I've encountered so far. Needless to say it doesn't fit AT ALL, but the why is more mysterious. The wires are the perfect width, the band is true-to-size and very very comfortable (it's very stretchy but simultaneously nice and firm), and the cup volume seems quite right for my larger breast, but the cup shape ... oh, the shape! I've had this problem with almost every bra I've tried this far, but this bra hands down is the worst: for some reason the cups close in on my chest like crazy, 'biting' into my breast tissue as if they want to cut of circulation and creating the oddest shape ever. Strangely enough the problem is worse on my smaller breast: even though I don't fill that cup by any stretch of the imagination, the cup edge is so tight that it actually hurts and distorts the entire cup shape.

For reasons that I cannot fathom the centre gore refuses to lay flat: the wire on the side of my larger breasts tilts away from the sternum. I usually don't have this problem unless the cups are too small, but in this case the cups are really not too small, volume-wise. The only thing I can think of is that due to the cups edges being so tight on me the entire bra is pulled off kilter.

    Conclusion:

I don't know what's going on with this bra. Size-wise it isn't too far off, but shape-wise it's such a complete mismatch it makes me want to scream. It's a shame as it's quite a nice, basic bra -- boring perhaps, but the super-thin foam and cotton lining would have made it a comfortable everyday option.

  5. This bra is highly modest- molded and covers quite a bit solidly. The nude color is lighter than my skin tone, but it’s still better than white under thin tops. This makes a great t-shirt bra, it does disappear under clothes if it fits you. No cleavage, just a smooth transition. Doesn’t really lift the front much, but does round everything out. If you want a more ‘natural’ shape I’d steer clear.
As for the fit, it works excellently on my bottom-heavy and separate breasts. The straps are quite far apart so you may want to fasten them tight- I have 44″ shoulders and the straps were slipping off ... quite a bit before I tightened them up! Furthermore, the underwires are long and go around further and up to your armpits, which could be a problem if you are rather petite or have narrow breasts.

The band is looser than other Panache bras I’ve tried- a 32FF in the Freya Deco (Pistachio) was way too tight, but the 32G here is comfortably tight! If you are between cup sizes go up one, as this model is known to run small in the cup.

Many photos of this bra show some cleavage, which you won’t get if you are shallow profiled. The band is not continuous, so it could probably be more supportive. Unfortunately, this bra only goes from D-G. The Plunge version, which I haven’t tried, goes up to an H, but I don’t know how that fits. I’m definitely curious, though! I wear this bra as an everyday bra, since it’s comfortable and doesn’t show through my tight-fitting tank tops (I have two in nude, which is lighter than my skin, and have ordered one in black). Not sure how this bra would work with a full-on-top shape.

This bra is definitely sized too small. it rides up against my sternum, the band digs in in the back, and the cups dig in and cause a bit of dreaded quad-boob. It's unfortunate because the fabric is very soft and I imagine if it fit as labeled it would be extremely comfortable.

This is a very comfortable bra, but too big in the back. I bought this before I knew that I needed a 28 back (preferably 26 but they are few and far between), and this is too big. I can wear it, but even on the tightest hook I can fit my entire hand underneath each side, so I would get more support from a 28G or 28GG. The cupsize is comfortable, however, and it creates a nice, natural rounded shape underneath t-shirts. Another negative is that the fabric, despite being padded, is fairly flimsy and it is possible to see my nipples underneath certain clothes because of this. However, the colour - blush - is also more flattering than other nude bras which are sometimes too dark for my pale skin.

edit - I should say this bra is very different from the newer version (mine is from around 2007/2008) - the cups seem much bigger compared to the current 30FF measurements for this bra.

  8. Very, very comfortable. Pretty plain looking, but so comfortable I don't really care. The molding isn't very stiff, so it doesn't provide much shaping, but prevents show through. Does seem to spread me out a little more than I would like, but almost gives a minimizing effect. The straps are thin and soft. The color isn't great, more of a blush instead of the nude I prefer, so it does show a little bit through white shirts.

Edit: This review and the measurements are for the bra in blush. I just bought this in black, and it seems to fit very differently. Much tighter in the band and smaller in the cups. And for some reason the straps don't adjust as long. Definitely going back.

    • Next time if you write separate reviews with each set of measurements they will average on the size listing which helps other users on an estimate if it will fit. Hoping another color/size works out for you as well! :)

This is an old size (I've lost a bunch of weight) which I've since donated. I'll be reviewing my current 32G size shortly.

This smooths everything out and works well with bottom-heavy breasts. No cleavage, everything separated and encapsulated, although since my breasts are pretty separate anyway that's no issue. One issue I ran into was the underwires being long and poking me in the armpit in this size- my breasts are set high, so if you are similar or petite otherwise you may experience a similar problem.

Unlike other Panache bras I've tried, the band is reasonably stretchy. Comfy when I was that size, I didn't feel like I was being cut in half.
