This bra is great quality and looks really nice too. The only thing is that it seems like the right cup is slightly larger than the left cup, but then again, my boobs are uneven so I can't be sure. Overall great in one cup but slightly wrinkly in the other.
This is a long story. When I was 10 lb lighter than I am now and at my earliest stage of bra hunting, somehow I tried size 30D of this bra. And it did not fit. So, I kind of excluded the Andorra Plunge from my shopping list even after the weight gain (bad bad decision), until very recently.
The 28D fits. So. Amazingly. Well. It has the right amount of projection for me after the weight change. The upper lace part of the cup is quite flexible and has the right amount of coverage, so the bra looks quite flattering on my short roots. The fabric is ...comfortable and great for the tropic weather I live in. The straps come with the width that I prefer, and are fully adjustable. The band is true to size.
I am so happy about it except for one thing: it is discontinued (WHY, PANACHE, WHY).
I wish I discovered the wonderfulness of this bra last year. Now, some colors are already sold out. I need to get a bunch of them before they get completely sold out. Read more 77 more words
I like the soft stretch lace -- I think it makes the fit really versatile. The "spice" red colour is gorgeous too. The wires are a good width; I could probably do narrower but this is fine. The gore doesn't dig, nothing wrinkles or gapes or spills, straps are not too far apart, and the band is comfortably snug. The raspberry color is pretty, has a neon look to it, but this is so far from fitting that it's and epic fail for me. I feel like the cups are on my sides and my boobs come out in the middle. The shape is probably incompatible. I have a feeling this would not fit me in another size although I might try it, I can get my smaller side into the cup somewhat.
The wires are nice and firm and the fabrics feel good. This would probably be a good bra for someone who has wide roots, needs some projection in the center of a bra, and is full on bottom. I think it's closed enough on top to possibly quad on tall roots in this size range.
I initially ordered the Panache Andorra in 28E and 30D which were the closest to my size available in the sale colors I wanted. The 28E in teal fit just right in the band but was definitely too large in the cup. I sold it to another Bratabase user. The 30D in spice was too loose in the band and also just a bit large in the cup. I swapped it on r/braswap. Having tried both of these, I figured surely the 28D would be a perfect fit so I went ahead and ordered it. It did fit, both in the band and the cup, but made me look... ...well, triangular. I'm not a huge fan of the Kim Possible boob look so sadly the 28D was promptly returned (again, forgetting to measure or take pictures.) I really love the aesthetic and the soft, stretch-lace material Andorra is made of though and hope to find something similar with a more flattering shape. I'm wondering if the Andorra plunge cut would suit me better but seeing as it's discontinued, I'll probably never know. Oh well. The search continues.
I bought this hoping that the fit would be similar to the Panache Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675). It is very close, but I get wrinkling in this one, enough that I will have to return it.
Pretty floral embroidery. The band is sturdy and not too stretchy, which I like. This size didn't fit me me cupwise. The cups are too wide, but not deep enough which causes massive quadboob.
This is a very pretty bra and I love the floral embroidery on it. It's my first fabric cupped bra and I'm very pleased, the cup seems sheer upon first inspection (I have this in black) but once on it's more opaque than I expected. I love that the gore is wider because it fits my wide-set, shallow breasts very well.
The only fit problem I have with this bra is that the top of the cups where the finer lace is does wrinkle and I don't quite fill it out even with swooping and scooping, however I'm fuller on bottom so this makes sense. The bra is also a little tight and since there is no padding the underwires dig a little after a few hours.
Overall it's a very nice bra and it will be staying in my drawer despite the small fit issue.
The band was just snug enough on the first hook on my 26" ribcage, but it seems to stretch a lot so I don't know how long that would last. However, I don't like my bras too tight so that part worked for me. What didn't work for me were the cups. It quadboobed me on both sides and also pressed into my pectoral muscles by my armpits making it feel tight. When I try to move the straps further off my shoulders, it helped relieve some of the pressure on my armpits but then made the quadboobing worse. The bottom of the cups and underwires seem to look and feel okay, but there was quite a bit of wrinkling in the center near my nipples. Overall, I found that this style did not suite my shallow and full on top shape.
I love the soft material and the lace, but there seems to be a combination of size and shape problem for me. The cup was too big on me, but besides that, the bottom of this bra is shallow and I get a bit of orange-in-a-glass action going on my larger breast (puckering at the bottom/side). The bottom fills okay on my smaller side so it's not just because the cup is big. Also, I don't have enough tissue on the top to fill up the lacy part. I would say if you're full on bottom, stay away from this bra. I thought the band was tighter than my other bras in 28. The high center gore was great for me. I have this one in white.
Update: After debating for a while I've decided to keep this because the wrinkles aren't very noticeable under most of shirts I have, and the bra is just soooo comfortable!
I'm not pregnant or nursing, I just wanted a good wireless bra. The Sophie fits me, non-tacking centre gore notwithstanding, and it feels really comfortable. The cups run shallow and rather wide, and the band feels pretty average for a 28, although the fastening is about 3" long and has six hook positions so it's almost like there's a full band size difference between the loosest and tightest hooks. (The unstretched band is ~22" long measured to the outermost hooks, and only about 20" measured to the innermost hooks.)
The fuchsia/peach colourway is really vibrant and pretty, and I love the lace overlay. The cup seams are quite thick, but this would only be a problem under thin, tight shirts.
The band was a little too large, the gore didn't lie flat, and the cups just didn't fit right - they were a little wrinkled, yet I had wicked quadboob after scooping and swooping.
I have fairly full on top breasts and so I thought this bra, being a balconette, would fit my shape properly. However, i experience quite a bit of wrinkling in the centre of the cup and the top of the bra curves inwards and gives me a quad boob effect. I really wanted to love this bra but it just isn't the right shape for me.
I love this bra! It is pretty and comfortable. Fits me perfectly, I love it so much I ordered another in nude so I can wear it under my T-shirts. The lace is pretty but not overdone. This bra also gives good support and has a great shape overall. I usually prefer balconette bras and this one gives me the perfect amount of coverage!
I need to try this bra in a size up. I totally quad-boob all over it and the cups don't even come close to holding my boobs, which is funny because most 28Ds are plenty, even a bit big sometimes.
My Andorra makes me super pointy, too. It's not a look that is in fashion right now but I actually like it.
