I tried the 32E, the 30F, and the 30FF of this style and this was the one that got the closest to fitting me best. The wire was wide enough to encase most of my breast tissue, but I still had issues with tissue/underarm fat on the right side; the wires were not tall enough. This is probably due to my height/long torso, so shorter gals might not have this issue.
As for the cups themselves, I think the "balconette" name is not quite accurate as the cup isn't really cut as low or as horizontally as a typical balconette (peruse the photos of others with this bra and you'll understand). That was a disappointment because the fuller cut cup was a lot deeper than I expected from the style. While I fit the bottom half of this cup okay, I had lots of wrinkling on the top on both sides due to my shallow/conical shape. It also gave me a weird shape with very little lift.
I did not fill the bottom of the cups correctly and the top of the cups cut into tissue. Also did not like the elasticity of the straps, or the shape of the cups.
I love this bra. It is by far the comfiest one I have ever worn. It feels like having a silk sheet over my boobs all day. It's super-light, to the point where I initially felt like it wasn't really supportive enough... but that's actually just how comfortable it is. You don't even really feel like you're wearing a bra! I will buy more of these!
Good shape and detailing for a less fancy unlined bra. Seaming can be lightly visible through clothing but it's not bad. This is a good bra for shallow softer boobs that don't work with Freya and Fantasie's unlined bras. The shape is round and lifted, but don't expect cleavage. Mostly it's very comfortable except it's itchy where the hook thingy attaches. I'm hoping that gets better with wear.
Just a teensy bit too much cup depth for me, otherwise is a beautiful bra with satin embroidery on the cups and satin on the front. Nice rounded shape despite being unlined in the cups.
I wanted to love this bra but it does not work with my breasts.
The band is very comfortable and the bra itself is very soft. However the cups are meant for shallower breasts I suppose. The top of the cups cut in on me. But the bottom of the cup seems to slide down.
This bra fits me just fine. I've got fairly shallow, full-all-over boobs. I don't like that despite being a plunge bra, it doesn't really bring my boobs closer together. It is fairly supportive and practical though!
I bought this bra after the G cup just didn't fit right with the wires, but this doesn't fit either. I have quadboob, breast tissue at my back and under my armpit! Yet I can't fill the bottom of the cup? I presume it's because the cups just don't have enough depth in them for me. Looks like it would be a pretty bra, just doesn't work for my boobs in either size.
I have the Ariza in the midnight/fuschia color as well as the matching thong. Very pretty bra, coloring is similar to Cleo Lucy in navy/pink. The band is nice and snug, probably closer to a 28 which is good for me. Very narrow straps. The cups are true to size. There are two cons for me: the gore is too high and rubs on my sternum, and I am not fond of the shape it gives me. I've found I'm okay wearing it under loose fitting tops (scrubs) but I don't think I would wear it under anything snug.
I found that the band was too stretchy for me. Most of the support ended up coming from the straps. Also it seemed that the cups were too small, but I am still figuring out my size. This bra may work for someone else.
This bra fits everywhere well, but for some reason it wrinkles at the nipple area, but it's fine at the top and side. Still can't figure out why. It's a really comfortable bra, and the colours are really nice. I'm not a fan of patterned straps, so I'm glad that it's just a nice plain cream.
If/ when this comes out in a 26 or 28 band, I will be all over it! It is just a beautiful bra! It did cut in very slightly but the lace edge is forgiving, it wasn't enough that I'd go up another cup size. Compared to Cleo Lucy/Marcie this band runs big and the cups run small...I went up one cup size and got a good fit but the band is stretchy and just too loose. Gives a very rounded shape like the Cleo bras mentioned above. I will say it wasn't the most comfortable bra I ever tried but I didn't wash it or break it in either. Would definately buy again if they ever add smaller band sizes but I returned this one.
This bra is not for anyone who is bottom heavy. It slopes too sharply upwards, due to this my boobs try to press down and they cause a crease at the bottom trying to make space for their lower curvature. Also if you have narrow shoulders you may get problems with the straps. When my arms are forward like for driving or typing they press the straps forward and this presses the cups forward and causes gaping at the top of the cup. I think if I did some sewing and moved the straps this could be fixed.
This is my new favorite bra. For one thing, it's an absolutely gorgeous purple color which is a welcome change from the usual blacks and nudes. I most frequently wear molded cup bras, so I was concerned about nipple show-through, but they sit right at the apex of the cup where the seams meet and that alone does a good job of hiding them. I was also worried about the fit, but it's amazing. No puckering, wrinkles, spilling, etc. The shape is great, and makes my breasts look like breasts instead of smooth mounds attached to my chest. It creates a natural ...looking cleavage, and with the beautiful lace I wouldn't be entirely opposed if it peeked out a little bit from a low cut neckline. The straps aren't overly wide but are still comfortable. The body of the bra fits so well that I don't need them tight. The only thing that I would change is I would have liked for the lace to be continued around the back and sides instead of the smooth fabric that is there. I find myself looking for outfits I can wear this bra with rather than vice versa. Read more 99 more words
This would be an incredibly comfortable bra if it were to fit! The "pearl" colour is really beautiful though and a great look for paler skin. I'm ordering a 28GG as the cup is too small and the back is very big. However, the fabric is very stretchy and forgiving - it's the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. I can't wait to get it in the correct size.
Fits comfortably and gives decent support, but not a lot of uplift. Like most Panache bras, the wires are fairly wide and flexible, which almost makes it look like a minimizer. The detachable straps are nice--thin and unpadded. Something about the cup construction seems to cause it to crease under the cups. I think I've figured out what--the cups don't project forward from the underwire. Instead, they have a little bit of a flange. If there were more structure to the cups this probably wouldn't be an issue, but the cups are so flimsy that they fold over. When this happens, the cups are catching my breasts, not supporting them. Overall, it's a bad look. Putting the straps on fixes it, but that totally defeats the purpose.
I have the Porcelain Moulded in the strap version, and it's actually one of my more comfortable bras, so I had hoped this would be much the same. It's not. The band is too loose, so I know even after only trying it on, I would be pulling at this constantly, not feeling secure in it at all. It's being returned today. There are not a lot of strapless bras it seems, so it could be a challenge to find a really good one. The bra is very similar to the regular Porcelain, but it feels looser and less comfortable. The cups fit fairly well, but again, not quite the same as the regular.
