  1. Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675)

This is my current go-to bra. It contains on the side and the support panel helps bring the girls forward. I'm not 100% convinced I like the shape it gives but I find that I care less and less the more I wear it because it's just so darn comfortable.

This bra is gorgeous. I love stretch lace -- I hope it holds up. I also have the bra in 32F, which I realize now is not quite as good a fit, but sometimes I'm thinner, and anyway, stretch lace makes the fit more forgiving. It gives a beautiful shape, but it took a little getting used to since I was used to droopy, too-small bras. I think this bra would be especially good for women with softer breasts, as it gives support and lift without the feeling of a lot of structure.

    Didn't fit

Update: I still really like this bra, but I have had to admit finally that it does not quite fit. The lace panel on the top is so stretchy that there is no quad boob effect, but over the course of a normal day, my boobs shift more toward the center of my chest, and out of the cups. I can't decide if the problem was there all along, or if the lace stretched a bit with regular use, allowing my boobs to migrate. I know migration toward the sternum is a common issue with plunge bras, and some are built to create cleavage. ... This bra really isn't, though. I feel less secure in this bra than I prefer, so even though it is very comfortable and flattering, it is not high on my list of daily bras.

Original: I'm new to the world of properly fitting bras, but this is the best I have found so far. I want to try several different styles and brands, but I have the feeling I'll be buying more of these. They are a great fit for my full on top/center breasts, and very pretty. The lace upper is supportive enough to keep me from spilling out in the middle, but is also very stretchy so I don't have to worry about quad-boobs. After a few days of scratchiness around the wires, this bra settled in very comfortably and I can wear it all day without worrying. The shape is more natural that my preference (I like a high, rounded shape), but still more rounded than many lace balconettes I have tried. No issues so far with the straps or band, though I wish the band had three hooks instead of two.

  4. Porcelain Moulded T-shirt Bra (3376)

This is a very comfortable practical bra. However, I have narrow shoulders and the straps are constantly falling off my shoulders. If I have the straps follow their natural line, they sit right on the edge of my shoulders. This bra separates your boobs, so it's a good choice if you are not looking for "in your face" cleavage.

HOW IT FEELS: First impression: fantastic. My biggest issue by far is gores: most are too wide and high. This one is a little narrower than most, and also is low enough to peak below where my breast tissue meets in the center. Up a size was the right way to go - now has enough projection. Side support sling pulls everything forward well. The seams are thick and noticeable in any top so would only wear this under thick material or under multiple layers.

ABOUT ME: Tall roots, very close set (less than a pinkie width between breasts), slightly center full, even vertical fullness (possibly functionally FOT due ... to tall roots). Average for projection, root width, and tissue softness/firmness. I think my tissue is soft enough to where shallower bras can work ok for me if they're more open on top, or taller cups.

BEST FITS: High apex and plunges

HOW IT FEELS: Envy 32ff is a smidge too roomy in the cup. The larger breast has some wrinkling on the bottom outside wire and the lace at the top is just a bit loose. Wondering if it would be worth trying a 30ff with an extender.

  7. Yasmin Plunge Cage Bra (10646)

    32FF

    Hasn't set fit

Yasmin's tag only has a band size for each country, with a large 'FF' printed to the right of them. It's inaccurate. It says Things about the company's internal problems that they release products without accurate cup size for each system, expecting consumers to guess at it (UK FF? US 32FF??? lol STFU Panache u absolute clowns).

So anyway. Welcome to my review of Yasmin, one of many in the ongoing series of purchases 'This B Run Extra Deep, Deep', because that's my main priority with any/all bras, ever. Please suspend hopes/expectations of pushup-y, shallow, compressive cups because we don't do that here whenever avoidable... If this ... intrigues, read on brave traveler!

On first glance Yasmin appears to be a flirty/flimsy/strappy little number with no real capacity to do anything but look cute for a few hours before being flung drunkenly to the farthest shadowy corners of disappointment in a fit of angst. Nay. It's dainty, non-fused airy mesh and breezy lace layers give good structure, even if they do not allow any ease for extra spaciousness. And it's shape is stupidly projected by several sizes for a narrow, immediately projected, bottomfull friendly fit with an emphasis on inner fullness for a shorter root, topped off by a very tall wing and short armscye which help it herd things back to the center...

...But I personally don't agree with things that push my tissue anywhere, being as 2/3rds of my tissue is on the outer side of my nips, so the entire cup settled somewhat side-set, pointier than my actual shape, and the top cut into my roots above areolas weirdly which made me realize that I've seen this shit before (narrows eyes)... Somewhere.

Enter stage left, Panache Tango Plunge. Aha, it's all coming back to me, the anticipation, arrival, confusion and finally heartache of looking into the mirror at the grim distorted figure that was so right before going so terribly wrong, glaring back at me: Heeheee yes I run BIG for others, but I'm at least a size too SMALL for you /mocking voice

(I did in fact dear reader, scurry horrified back to my too-tall-gored Gorsenias that also 'Run A Size Large' but not for me, to contemplate WTF and wonder what went wrong with Tango).

Which brings us back to the present moment. Overlaying the pattern pieces from both Yasmin, and Tango, the Yasmin's runs a half inch taller and full INCH WIDER in the inner panel by gore than Tango's do, while Yasmine's side panel is only .5" bigger along the upper seam, and otherwise stays the same shape throughout the cup as Tango's. But Yasmin's side panel also has a slick modification of making it's armscye shorter between the wing and upper band that the straps attach to, than Tango's outer panel which extends more vertically from the outer wire/wing. Yasmin's wing is a folded over duoplex flap that exists inside of the double-bagged powernet band, but it's just floating in there uselessly, so underwire's ability to spring is zero, therefore side control/side stability isn't there, and the only forward direction of the breasts is contingent on Yasmin's cup shaping alone.
Back at the gore, the base between Yasmin's wires is 1.5" apart just at the band, then it terminates to .8" wide where the wires end above... it would have been even better if they'd been overlapped as polish brands tend to do, but oh well not this time.
Someone's out there on a mission to give shorter projected breasts a fighting chance at centerfull support with style. I can respect that.

Now the cup's upper band. There's no stretch here whatsoever, so also no room for error in fit. It's a LOT better than the gougey one on the original Tango, but it's pretty similar in shape and same length, so it still cuts in if one's roots aren't quite short or shallow enough. Yasmin's upper band is much narrower vertically near the gore, then it widens out to the same shape and width just above cup apex where both panels join, and then widens taller toward the straps.
On one hand Yasmin has 1/2" more apex projection than Tango but on the other, the upper band still tilts inward and closes off INTO the breast if one's not short enough, which I regrettably have discovered is the case with me (curse of short projected boobs + useless as hell tall root -FML).

Where do we go from here. Ah yes, Fixtures. Straps are fully detachable 3/8" slinky elastic with about 50% stretch- there's no adjustable slider for them so either they stretch to fit or are taken off. Meh. The closure is only 3 pairs of hooks which sucks, but they're set in an amazing silky nonstretch pillow that is divinely comfortable. All the O rings, j hooks and sliders are cast black enameled metal free of sharp edges and sounds.Sorry everyone who loves a haunted creaking bridge theme and squeaky mice, you'll have to look elsewhere. Underwires are J shaped, 10.5"long with the outer side sitting at 4+" tall and the gore end almost 2" high. One can measure the width inside their arms one of 2 ways: diagonally which gives a cross-cup measurement width of 6", or the more accurate way of directly horizontal across the lower arm to the opposite side which gives us a mere 5.25" width, which is SUPER IMPORTANT to think about in combination with the fact that there's virtually nothing but immediate depth out from the wires for a good inch and a half here. Then Yasmin's cup simply projects forward 4.5" of that lower 5'5 cup height, and this extends outward from the wires at such a low zone. I feel this part is especially important to take note of because it's basically the opposite of Andorra that compresses and squishes wider rooted breasts into the chest wall. Maybe there's a crossover size somewhere in the full range where these opposites are less opposed in features, but that's hard for me to imagine where it might happen (44D? who knows).

Ultimately for myself having the lowest apexed breasts in the history of all breasts, that are also doubly thick & obnoxiously stiff, this is kind of a wildly cool style to have been able to have on hand through my ultrashort boob HH/J/12" deep shitfit issues, but it's functionality is limited to something closer to the Ewa BM cut (close set, longer than wide/tall, muzzle-like containment) than the way Freya plunges fit (generally short/wide/upperfull-friendly, flexible lift). Yasmin & I's time together has become more and more limited, but the journey continues.

Bought on Amazon for $38.99. I'm not the biggest fan of how this bra looks but that's just personal taste. I tend to prefer more modern patterns/less lace.

The closest I've gotten to a fitting bra. Band is a smidge too tight but I'm still losing weight so I'll let that slide. Some very minor wrinkling at the bottom of the cup. Strap cuts into my right armpit every so slightly. I'm hoping this issues will go away as I "break in" the bra.

    • Hello 👋. I’m happy you’ve found something comfortable to wear on a daily basis. Though I wanted to make a bra recommendation for you because I think this one may be a shape mismatch because of the wrinkling at the bottom of the cup (but by all means you don’t need to listen to me at all if you feel this is fine). My bra recommendation is Playful Promises Ramona bra in 32I US (runs one cup size small), I think it would be much better suited to your shape.

    • congrats on finding a better fitting bra! I don't know if this is against bratabase's rules - 'cause you didn't ask for fit advice specifically - but I'm not CRAZY about this fit on you. I look similar in Panache Envy!! for me, the wires are too wide, and the bra sits kinda low.

I think you would be a good candidate for Ewa Michalak BM which is similar to the Envy except the underwires are more narrow. (*I promise I'm not a shill for them, lol)

      Just my .02! Good luck!

*Or there's other Polish brands too. I think you have a shape that will fit well into the Polish brands, JMO!

This is one of the most recommended bras ever, but it’s my enemy. It’s a me problem, not the bras problem. It just doesn’t work with my shape at all. Plus the straps are too wide set on me so they cut into my arms/armpits severely. My nips are on full display through whatever shirt I’m wearing. It’s a beautiful bra, but the Jasmine is sadly not for me.

I have tons of immediate projection and am very bottom and center full with narrower roots; 5'1" tall and about 132 lbs right now. This is the best fit I've found in a wired non-Polish bra (fitting Ewa BMs in 75F right now). I found the projection on this to be about the same as Jasmine in the same size, but prefer the more rounded shape of the Envy to Jasmine, which was very pointy on me. Projection in this size was definitely better for me than for the same size in Tango and Andorra, which I also often see recommended for narrow and projected busts.

I have mixed feelings about this bra. Well, it fits. However, it feels more like containing my boobs instead of supporting it. Maybe because half the cup is consists of stretch lace instead of rigid mesh that I'm used to. The material is scratchy and irritates my skin.

Super tight band. Good for immediate projection. Seems ok for full on top. Itchy?

The band it astoundingly tight. I measure 30.5 snug, this bra is listed at a 32, I put an extender on it (which would make it a 34) and it's super tight. I can't get it on without the extender and I wouldn't want to. If I were to get this in another color I'd go up a band.

I have very immediate projection, which makes it challenging to find a strapless bra that will stay up without my breasts pushing it down. This bra can /almost/ accommodate me. The folds on the underside of the ... cup are the least I have ever experienced, and while the bra gets pushed down a little, it stops at a certain point and is stable. So, the wires don't sit in the inframammary fold for me but they're also not at my waist. And over-all, it don't end up looking droopy which is really the end goal.

A see people complain about the slight bullet shape of this bra. It's true. However I think that's what makes it fit and stay on my body, that's my natural shape so my breasts are able to sit in the cups without pushing the bra around.

Final note, I haven't worn it out yet but I wore it around the house for about 5 hours. It's kinda itchy. Not in a way that makes me want to scratch at myself really, but uncomfortable. I might be sensitive to something in the fabric. Maybe this will improve with a wash.

I had bought this one hoping the spacer cup fabric and racerback J-hook would be a nice option for summer use. Turns out #1: the wires are too long, #2: the gore is too tall, #3: the outer cups are too tall, #4: the straps are not long enough (but only when hooked in the racerback position).

    * Because the spacer cup fabric has so little structure to it, support is solely relied on from the wire and band, whereby the wires will be quite firm and the gore will be tall. The same holds true for this one.
    * ...and because the cups have so little structure, they give ... a very minimized shape. However, unlike other spacer cup bras I've tried, these cups do provide nice lift and natural, rounded shape.
    * Ironically, the wires are the perfect width for me. They sit very nicely in my IMF, despite the fact they're too long. However, even as long as they are, they're still a full inch shorter than the wire channel. So it's not just the wires that are too long, but the outer cups are also too tall. So even with the straps in standard position, the cups rub into the Tail of Spence. And it's absolutely unbearable with the J-hook connected.
    * Just to clarify about the straps, the length is fine when in standard position. But once hooked, the straps cut painfully into the back of my neck. And unfortunately, lowering the J-hook did not solve that.
    * As for placement of the front straps, they are definitely set too far apart. When I stand straight, the cups lay flat and fit very nicely. But as soon as I move my shoulders forward, the cups gape terribly.
    * A quick mention of the band...double layer mesh, with flocked elastic and a U-shaped back. The height is basically the same from the wire to the straps.
    * And lastly, the hooks and eyes are 2x3 narrow-set, mounted into a thin tab. Also, the length of the tab nicely covers the loosest set of hooks, so there's no chafing.
