I can’t help but laugh when I look at the pictures of me wearing this bra. 😂
If I needed a bra to feel super ~nasty~ in, this would be it!
For real though, this bra is very narrow but not uncomfortably so. It’s SUPER projected and gave me bullet boobs. I literally had a shelf sticking out from my chest! 🤣 It gives that nice Marie Antoinette look, except I was probably 1 cm away from falling completely out of this bra. Obviously 36G is too small for me. I’m willing to give this another try in a 36GG and 36H because with all the obvious fit issues aside, I kinda like the look this bra gives me (the bullet/shelf boobs, not the nips falling out all over the place part).
This bra threw me off at first, it doesn't raise your breasts up in the way that most do, by cupping them. This "directs" them so that they stick straight out. I laughed when I put it on and paraded around our house as Wonder Woman, to the amusement of my fiance. It looks good with a shirt on, awkward with a fitted or tight one though. The center gore comes up a little high and pokes my left breast and the side underwires are starting to poke now too, although I've gained a little weight that could be the cause. Overall, it fits my bell cups pretty well and I'd say the separation in front is the perfect amount, if high.
I have very wide, full all over boobs and quite short roots. PROS: • The relief I get from the lovely cushioned straps, their wide (but not too wide) and pretty • The perky projection, rounded and uplifted shape I get from the cups • The thin padding is v comfy and moulds to my shape more like a contour bra • The low centre gore allows for my high tummy and centre fullness, also can easily wear low cut tops as it is a plunge bra. • Brings my boobs front and centre with no east west side bulge problems. CONS: • I think the cups are a little more separated than I would like, I prefer ...them closer together. • There's only 2 hooks, 3 is always better in these sizes. • The straps only adjust half way, I normally like to tighten them as much as possible, although its fine as is in this particular bra. • The thin padding slightly shows the shape my nipples sometimes under v thin clothes, never bothered me before though but as age and gravity takes its toll I mind more now …but it doesn’t show all the time and is not too obvious anyway, so, I can live with it. The wire pokes me a little under my right arm, which is my smaller boob, so the wires are very tall and supportive at the sides.
I picked this up on sale after realizing I no longer fit the bras I currently own. I think I'm somewhere between a 36FF and a 36G and am also between band sizes. 38 bands tend to slide up on me, but the 36 bands feel a little snugger than I'd like. The material is softer than another pattern I tried in the Jasmine style, but still a little scratchy. I find the wire a little wide and the gore a little too high for my preference, but it is still wearable. I wish the lace was a little tighter as my tissue isn't as firm as it used to be but the fabric part is definitely supportive. So far balconnets seem to work best for me as I don't always fill the top of the cup in other styles. I am struggling to find bras other than balconnets that work for me, but am not sure what to look for. I am interested to see how well this bra breaks in and if the comfort will improve.
I love the rounded shape this bra gives and the full cups make me feel secure and comfortable and are still low enough to wear under low cut tops. I think the cups are extremely wide and full, so much so that my right boob, my smaller boob, couldn't quite fill the side and the wire on that side does poke me a little under my arm. On my left, bigger boob it fits almost perfectly.. the only problems are the centre gore which does not lie flat and is a little too far apart for my center fullness, so, the gore actually sits a tiny bit ...on the breast tissue but not too bad, I can mostly remedy that through reverse scooping https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> The gore is also very tall, I prefer them to be low and thin, as with plunge bras. Another con is the straps, they only adjust half way in this size ;( would be perfect if not for those little things... I would like to be able to tighten the straps a bit more as the top of the cups gape ever so slightly, but not enough to stop me wearing.. I just tug the straps further up towards my neck, almost like a halter, and they stay put, more-or-less. I get huge projection from this bra, it makes my boobs look massive, even more than the Deco did.. its kind of a pro and a con :/ I think this bra would be great for women with wide boobs or upper fullness. Overall I'm pretty happy with this bra, I think its beautiful, has an old school sexiness to it.. like a 1940s pin up type of bra. It brings my boobs front and center and I'm just so glad to have finally got a new bra!! Yay! no more quad boob and sore back https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Read more 214 more words
THESE WIRES ARE THE TOUGHEST POKIEST MOST UNFORGIVING EVER. The wires swoosh out too far under my arm, so even though they are the right height, it digs little bruises into my sides that hurt like a BITCH. Also, no matter how much I size up, the lace both digs in and sticks out, so the edge of the lace is always pointing out leaving an imprint through shirts, and the inside of the lace is always giving me quadboob.
This is my first good fit in a bra so far, since I ditched the old 40C's a few weeks ago and started experimenting. The slightly stretchy lace lets it conform to my shape. The lightweight fabric allows for a bit of natural movement, which I like but which might be a problem to people who want absolutely no jiggling. The light yellow color is pretty. The band feels very firm but I expect that to loosen up with washing and wearing. The side panels give good support and centering. And it doesn't poke me under the arm, yay! But the gore is rather high and gets ...uncomfortable after an hour or so. The gore height measurement is deceptively small because of the no-band shape in the front. If you measure gore height along an imaginary line all the way down to where a band would be, level with the bottom of the cups, it would be more like 5 inches high instead of 4. The cups seem to run small (but see note below), at least in this colorway (Lemonade). I thought a 36F or FF should fit, because G's have been too big for me in Freya and Cleo, but I had to size up to a 36G to get big enough cups here. Overall it looks pretty good.
Edited to add I've realized that maybe the F/FF cup sizes weren't really too small so much as they're the wrong shape for me. There's empty fabric and wrinkling at the bottom of the cups where I don't fill them out. They felt too small and tight overall though because that space is in the wrong place for me, seems like the orange in a glass problem. And the wires are too tall for my short roots. I'm still keeping it but will keep looking for a better fitting bra. It's fairly comfortable after a couple of washes. Read more 211 more words
Molded cups just don't work for me. As with many plunge bras, I get gaping near the center at the top, while my breasts try to flow to the center bottom. As this would be very obvious under clothing, and padding never seems to solve the problem, this is clearly not a good fit for me.
The band is fairly tight and has a sort of silicon on it so that it can be worn strapless. There are straps, but they can be removed.
The body actually seems a bit short to me. I had some difficulty fastening it in the crotch after I'd already put on the top part, and I am not a tall person. Maybe my torso isn't that short, but I would think many people would have difficulty with the length.
This isn't really shapewear, as the body part does nothing to contain bulges.
This bra is pretty rocking. When I first bought it (IDK... 2 years ago?) it fit perfectly. Everything still fits, except the band. WOW, does it ever stretch out. It's not the best bra for an active job, but it is very good for day-to-day walking, desking, and sitting.
I do like this bra, but I'm not sure I'll be getting another. I'm pretty sure a 34GG or H would be perfect (I'll try one on the next time I go bra shopping!), however the two I have (the other is a 38FF!) are still in decent shape. I will for sure be taking in the band on this bra, to make it more like a 34.
Oh, one other thing. The uplift of this bra is not the most excellent, as the straps do not attach to the portion of the cup that goes under the bust. Keep this in mind if you have problems getting the perky shape you want!
The strap width on this one is so much better than the envy, which cut into my shoulders. Going to try in a couple other sizes because the cups are slightly too small and I can wear it on the tightest hook.
Total bullet bra. Which is fine if you like that shape, but it just didn't feel supportive, and felt incredibly shelf-like. The cups were the right size for my breast tissue, but because of the placement of mine, I had gaping at the top, and the wires still too wide for me.
Cute and stretchy. Conforms to larger breast, but forgiving for smaller half size. Gore is just a bit too long, but not uncomfortable. Not stiff, lots of movement. Straps are just slightly too short.
Very flattering silhouette, but stretchy in the band. Rides up in the back and I get a bit of a quadboob after a few hours in it. Major poking in the side going on and the straps had a tendency to slide off if I didn't keep them fairly tight. I would've gone down to a 34FF or 34G if it hadn't also spat out its wire within 1.5 years of occasional use.
For the height of the gore and of the wing, I measured the inner "bra" part of the body. The body is made of a soft and stretchy fabric, while the gusset is made from cotton. The front part is doubled with mesh, while the back isn't. This bodysuit was never worn, but after it was sitting in the closet for a while, I decided to give it a quick hand washing to refresh it. Unfortunately, I left it to soak for a bit together with a dark coloured bra and the colours bled..
I was only a little disappointed by this bra, and it has entirely to do with the look and not the fit. I was hoping it would be more sheer, have a lower gore, it looks very different in person than it does in online marketing photos. The lilac is not as pastel as I’d like either. But I’m keeping this bra and I’ll tell you why. The underwire is wide enough for my wide roots and the top of the cup lays flat with only minimal wrinkling, which is very rare with my FOB breasts that also have a tall shallow root tail. I like the natural shape the cup provides, and my particular breasts, which are self supporting despite being 36G, don’t float in the cup like they do in many other bras.
Welcome to the club and thanks for the information on the bra. I was looking at it and I think I want one but the online photos make the model look very East/West. I hate that look and it’s very uncomfortable as well.

This comes out almost cartoonish, but manages to do so without being grotesque.
