    Bought this bra to alter, so can't really say on fit. Seams very well made and the fabric is non-stretch. Band is true to size.

    This bra has the best fitting band of any I've tried and is the first to not ride up regardless of band size. I really liked the tall wings as well. Unfortunately, the gore was way too high for me, being very close set. I didn't find the bra to be particularly supportive; this is possibly a question of projection. The straps were also a little far apart for me, but they weren't so far apart that they slid off my shoulders. Additionally, I felt like this bra gave me a lot of separation and not enough lift. I'm looking for a bra that will kind of direct my boobs towards the centre of my chest and away from my arms, but of course this is personal preference.

    Didn't fit

    The Panache Tango was the first bra I tried in my recent bra-fitting journey, so I really wanted to this fit. Sadly, after trying the Tango II in sizes 28DD and 30D and the Tango II Plunge in 28E, I've come to the conclusion that this line is not for me. All the Tango bras are shaped with immediate projection and a very closed off top, which doesn't suit my wide and shallower shape at all. Every single size and style I've tried end up giving me the orange in a glass effect, and the stiff mesh fabric means the empty part of the cup ... sticks out awkwardly and can't be disguised.

    The Tango II 28DD is a better fit than the 30D I've tried, but the cups are far too small for me now. The reason I ordered this size instead of my current 28E is that it was cheaper on Amazon, and based on my experience with the 30D's cups being too big, I figured the 28E would be too deep. However, this size gives me the absolute worst orange in a glass effect, even worse than the Fantasie Elsie 30D that I have. The stiff, unforgiving fabric and the projected cut just doesn't work for me. Maybe I'll give 28E a try sometime, but for now I'll let go of my Tango dreams . . .

    Didn't fit

    I’ve been looking for a good unlined, structured cup bra to wear during these hot Texas summers, instead of my standard lightly lined molded ups, and have recently been trying to explore a range of different sizes. I have been a pretty consistent 30C but I always measure closer to 30D (or 28D/DD). I decided to order this bra to try out.

    Pros: love the fabric, the overall appearance of the style, the support, and the structure of the cups.

    Cons: embroidery shows through clothing, band is stretchier than I expected from a 30, and the sides are a touch high and sometimes dig in a little bit when I ... move.

    The main issue I found with this bra is that the cups have extra fabric on me at the top, and don’t fit perfectly. The underwire size feels perfect and the bottom and sides of the cups give me a nice rounded, lifted shape which I love. However, the top of both cups have extra fabric. Since I purchased the bra directly from another user and not from a store, I decided to alter it myself by tucking the extra fabric from the top of the cup and sewing it in place. After this alteration, the bra looks and feels great! Definitely recommend this bra if the shape works for you.

    I really enjoy this bra and would like to try sizing down to 28D in order to get a snugger band and smaller upper cup, though I am a little unsure if the underwire will end up being too small. Overall, my first Panache bra has been a pleasant surprise.

    =============================

    Update:

    After trying on some brand new 30D Tango II, Tango, and other bras in the 28D/DD - 30D range, I now realize this bra is way too big for me. The band is as loose as my "comfortable" 30C/32B bras feels, meaning there's no support at all as my breasts slide around and don't stay properly in the cup. No matter what, the Tango's shape is not for me, being way too projected, and the fabric is too stiff to be forgiving for a less than optimal shape.

    While my altered Tango described in this post is comfortable, it definitely is far from a good fit!

  5. I thought this bra was beautiful... until I saw a picture of myself from the side!
    During a recent heat wave, I became fed up with my usual t-shirt bras and purchased the Tango II. It will feel nice on hot days because it breathes much better than a t-shirt or contour bra. However, I am not thrilled with the shape... it gives a definite conical look that is not flattering on my small breasts. I have since learned that the Tango II isn't necessarily a "true balconette" shape, due to the way the straps connect to the upper cup section --- in a true balconette, ... apparently the straps should connect to the lower side cup section. This makes sense, because I get a much rounder and more flattering shape from my Freya Antoinette (3925), which does have the true balconette cut.

    The support of this bra is wonderful, especially considering the apparent thinness of the material. I am really impressed with how it holds everything together, and it does so quite comfortably. The Tango II is also made very well, and I think it deserves its reputation as a popular bra. Unlike my Cleo bras, the straps are long enough too. The band is a little too stretchy, and I feel I should be wearing a 28 in this style -- as it is, I fastened this on the tightest hook with no problem.

    Another thing to note is that while I think the embroidery on this bra is very pretty, it does show through a top. It's not horrible but it's enough to make this bra one I will reach for only when it's really warm out.

    About this Bra

    Purchasing:
    * $42 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (some sizes/colors available on Amazon Wardrobe, but not this one)
    * Available in black and beige only.

    Band:
    * One layer of stretch semi-sheer knit.
    * Elastic at top of band.
    * Wing support: soft seaming
    * Continuous band - wires lower than wings.
    * Back close with 3 columns of hooks.

    Straps:
    * smooth elastic
    * soft (don't stand up on their own)
    * full adjust
    * leotard back

    Cups:
    * 2-seam (3-piece) half cup (Called a balconette but the cup edge is diagonal, not horizontal, so really a half cup.)
    * unpadded, stiff underwire
    * All pieces constructed of a non-stretch mesh with a leaf ... applique (kinda like a lace). Unlined.
    * Soft cups (no molding or padding).

    Fit

    About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
    * average projection
    * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts)
    * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
    * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
    * short root height, average vertical placement
    * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
    * conical shape (but will squish to round)
    * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
    * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
    * front (anterior) rib flares

    Band:
    * length: bottom of band snug, top of band loose
    * wings: too short, armpit quad boob
    * no axillary skin spillage (doesn't cut into tail of Spence)

    Gore: Comfortable, tacks, good spacing, height fine.

    Cup:
    * Gives breasts round, projected shape.
    * Wires way to narrow.
    * Top of cup smooth (but only because so much boob escaping cup).
    * Bottom of cup filled nicely.

    Straps:
    * not too far apart
    * adjust short enough

    Appearance Under Clothing:
    * Seams visible under thin T-shirt. Even worse, the apex seams cause the appearance of erect nipples (even when nipples actually flat).
    * Not visible under V-neck.
    * Visible in armholes of sleeveless shirt with movement only (not visible at rest).

    Assessment and Plan:
    * Cups far too narrow. Band slightly large.
    * Based on measurements table, probably need at least a 30G to get enough width, but cup depth will be too big.
    * Style too projected for my shape. Try different styles.

    A well made and reasonably comfortable bra. Appears to be designed for people whose breasts sit further apart than mine. I'm not a fan of unpadded, but this was the only one I could find that fit at the time.

    Oh Panache Tango you amazing bra, why you don't work like I expected you to work?! Why you fail me now?
    I have 32K - Panache » Tango Ii Balconnet Bra (3251) that is currently too big in the cups I cannot even fill it with my PMS-boobs and 30K - Panache » Tango Ii Balconette Bra (3251) which is slightly small in cups cutting in on top (on PMS-boobs). Also the 30K band was a bit small but now fits, 32K band is slightly big even. I thought going for 32JJ was a good idea. I couldn't resist this new lovely bluebell lilac color. ...

    How it fits:
    When I put it on I was baffled about how unsupportive it felt. I mean it's a Panache Tango?! I expect only the best support and boobs of steel from it! But this bra… I get very weird wrinkling in the cups, it's minor but really really weird. I don't know why that is. The gore does not lie completely flat, it's hard to explain but it's like my ribcage is curved in the opposite direction than this gore. It lies flat at the upper end but it almost feels like my boobs could escape under the gore at the lower end? But I can fill the cups on bottom without wrinkling. The wires on the sides are about 1-2 cm too wide like usual. So it should fit like my 30K Tango but it doesn't. I measured both bras and 32JJ has a taller gore and wing than 30K. I wonder if this 32JJ bra is too tall for me? But what other size would I wear?

    Another very weird Thing I experienced: I feel like my bands ride up lately on several bras and also on this bra. I don't know if I only imagine it, and it does not really ride up because of other fit issues? Also I can fit 1 hand under the band in this bra but not in the 30K bra. Also the shoulder straps cut into my shoulders, which is also kinda normal since there is some pull on them from my boob weight but I feel it's more lately.

      Ok. The wrinkling is because the bra is too tall I think. That may also be causing the gore to untack at the top.

      I also think you may be adjusting the straps too tight to remove the wrinkles, which is pulling the band up in the back. The straps may be set too wide, too, which provides less support and causes more wrinkling as you angle them in a bit to sit on your shoulders. What happens when you loosen the straps to sit lightly on your shoulders?

      I don’t know if you’ve tried them, but I believe Elomi Etta, Tia, and Soraya/Sachi would be shorter and still supportive in the upper cup in a 32JJ. The first two have very firm wires closer to Panache wires and would likely be narrower than the Tango. They all have more centered straps, lots of upper cup support, and are shorter in the cup.

    • cupandahalf thank you for your comment. I'm so glad I don't make things up… I'm currently a bit all over the place with my emotions, I feel scared because I have no bra that fits besides that Bravissimo Erin but I only fill it with my PMS boobs. Because lately I had wrinkling in all bras I bought. Of course I would adjust the straps so that the wrinkling goes away and the bra feels supportive. Straps also cut in a lot and I had neck pain lately. I get 30JJ in a sophisticated pair calculator but also 32HH if I pick that I prefer a looser band, which is ridiculous. Ewa Michalak gives me 70KK as a size.

      I have not tried any Elomi bras since my old 34L days. Elomi Caitlyn was always too wide and weak, but I liked it to lounge around the house. The bras your recommend sound really good, I will check them out. Narrower wires than Panache on Elomi? I'm interested in them.

    • I know now why this was too big. Last week I wore 30K tango twice and it gave me massive pain on the ribcage, so that 30 band is too tight. I added back an extender to the band, and there was gaping in the cups. That's why I thought 30K fits smaller than 32JJ, it was just a too small band making the cups feel smaller. (32JJ cup is a bit taller though…) I think if I should try 32J or 32HH like a sophisticated pair calculator suggested?

    Fits good, I have some wrinkles when I move, but I'm totally okay with it. The problem is the gore, it's quite high, so the wires kinda dig in. I'll probably end up sewing some fabric or padding to avoid the pinching, or maybe I just need to get used to it. I used to have wires that dug into my sides, but I eventually got used to it and doesn't bother me now.
    The band is perfect, and the colour is amazing. Looks really nice with my skin tone. I also love the embroidered leaves, they look beautiful, I don't like that the show under certain shirts.
    What I've learned from this bra is that next time I should get the plunge version.
