So the wires and cups are the right size, yay! Unfortunately, this bra was painful because of the angled wires (see fit check). I tried on the white/ivory option so the white seams glowed through the shirt I was wearing, but I don't think that the seams would be visible under a more opaque garment.
I have two Parfait bras, the Odette and the Lola. The Odette fits much better. I have shallow, slightly FOB, wide root breasts. I find on the Lola that the underwire digs in both at the sternum and the sides, while at the same time I don't have enough fullness/projection to fill out the top and the lace puckers where it meets the molded cup. It's a beautiful bra and I love the design and I'm just going to make some adjustments to the underwire for a better fit. I love the wider straps and the wider band compared to previous bras I've owned.
This bra appeared to fit at first and even be slightly large for me (which made me sad) but after wearing two of these bras for a few months I noticed that I was having trouble keeping the wire in my inframammary fold. I realized that the bras are too shallow for me which is why they were gaping along the top edge. (The same thing happened when I put on an old 32C molded bra that used to fit better, which makes me think that tissue migration has caused my shape to become more projected.) Also due to the shallowness, the apexes (apices?) of the bra cups ...get pushed out to the sides and leave me with less material in the front where it's supposed to be, which looks fine under clothes but very odd indeed without them.
This puts this bra in an odd position, in my opinion. A Parfait Lauren, which is is supposed to be a sister cut to this bra, gaped slightly on a shallow friend of mine due to the bra having too much projection yet gapes on me because of a lack of projection. This bra is certainly shallow-friendly, but probably not as best friends. Read more 93 more words

This bra is kind of funky on me. When I got it it was a bit big in the cups for me but I kept it because I liked it. Of course I didn't wear it so what was the point. Recently my boobs have seemed a bit bigger and it fits better, but there's still some odd stuff going on.
The wires are very firm on this bra and as a result a bit stabby at the gore. It might break in but it's really too soon to tell. However, the gore is the perfect width for my boobs, and the wire width is good too. The cups ...give a very forward projected shape and are slightly on the pointing side. It's still a rounded shape but it's not the hemispherical foam dome look. This bra would give a nice smooth shape if it weren't for the poorly engineered transition between the padded bottom of the cup and the stretch lace upper. The padding is thicker than I think it should be, at least at the edge and the way the lace is stitched on makes the top of the foam curl out creating a very obvious ridge. It shows through pretty much all clothing including some sweaters although it's fairly passable with a patterned top. I whip stitched along the edge to pull it down a bit which helped, but it's still a problem. The lace upper is weird for me too, likely because I lack fullness right above the nipple. This causes it to slouch/bunch into the padding a bit but it generally isn't noticeable under clothing. The rest of the lace is fine, I might end up taking some of it in along that seam to give a better look.
It comes up pretty high at the front of my armpits which is fine if I'm sitting or standing with awesome posture but annoying if I slouch or have to reach forward a lot.
I'd say it's still wearable, but it's not going to be a first choice. Read more 231 more words
Originally the gore was way too wide so I altered it to be narrower. Fits much better after fixing this. My boobs fill the cups after a hearty scoop n swoop but sort of "settle" after a while and the tops of the cups become empty. Perhaps because the apex of the bra is higher than my actual nipples and/or my posture isn't the greatest. Regardless, the band is very firm and this bra gives me an amazing shape under tight fitting tops.
This was the first bra I purchased after determining that 30D is my true size. It's not a perfect fit for me but it's not terrible either...I wish it were perfect because this is such a gorgeous bra. The band is definitely too tight, even on the loosest hooks. I don't have quite enough inner fullness to fill the inside edge of the cups, so there's a little bit of gapping toward the middle, but it's really only noticeable under tight-fitting clothing. The wires fit well and it gives me a nice shape, despite the gapping.
I should note that I got this bra as part of a giveaway from Parfait, I have the matching high waisted brief as well.
Such a stabby gore. These underwires are some of the firmest I've ever encountered. Pretty closed on top, gives me quadboob. I'm not sure if I should go up a cup or not. I haven't worn it since I'm going to post a fit check and see if there's any chance of swapping it for a cup up. Since it was a giveaway I'm not sure if I'll be able to. I'd say it could still be wearable despite the quadboob, but not ideal. Maybe for small boob times of the month only. I'll edit this review after wearing if I end up keeping it in this size.
Update: I've had the bra for over a month and it still fits great. My only concern would be the fit of the band and how the straps sometimes would slip from my shoulders. The band seems snug, but I find myself adjusting the bra during the day when it starts to feel like its slipping down from the bottom of my breasts or just a feeling that it slipped from its most comfortable place. The straps, on the other hand, keep slipping from my shoulders and I have to keep slipping them back on during the day, but not as often as it may seem.
It definitely fits ...great for shallow, slightly FoB breasts. It's the first great fitting bra that I've bought and I'm glad I did. While I find the band to be a teensy bit tight, it's pretty much because I've been using the wrong band size forever (around a 32 or 34), so that will take some time to get used to.
My boobs feel like they're being supported completely. Not to mention that my smaller breast actually feels great, and I don't think I would need something to balance it out with the bigger one. The cup doesn't gape at the top when I'm standing up straight, and only does so a little when I'm hunching over and when I'm raising my arms. But other than that, It's flush against my breast and it doesn't bother me at all.
The center gore sits flat against the sternum and doesn't budge at all. And the band stays in place no matter which way I move. The straps are the only things that may be bothersome, but only so very slightly. I adjusted them a little, to be shorter, because I fear that they slip off of my shoulders, but I'm going to see how they behave when worn for a day out. However, they're not uncomfortable at all. I have the champagne colored Fiona. I was surprised it fit me. Unlike my Charlotte, it doesn't cut in on top of the cups, but there is some quad boob over the center gore. The cups and straps aren't as wide as my Charlotte. This bra is good for even, FOT, It feels like it runs big in the cups. If I stand/sit straight, then the cups and straps don't feel too wide. When I sit down, the cups and straps feel like they are going into my armpits.
I have no idea what is going on with this bra. Pros: it is shallow enough for me, and the cups are separated far enough for me. There is 1.375" of space between the cups. Cons: the band is way. too. stretchy. I can stretch it out to 32.5". This should not be happening. Also, I get slight gapping when I don't stand up straight.
The sales lady advised me to size down a cup to get more cleavage which worked wonderfully. I grew out of this bra awhile ago but liked it enough to repurchase in 30DD when that fit me.
I seem to be between sizes with the Freya Deco at the moment (gaping in a 30DD, cutting in with a 30D) so I decided to try a different moulded plunge bra instead, and I'm glad I did. The Jeanie is very comfortable, doesn't show under a tight T-shirt, it's £10 less expensive than the standard Deco (although not easy to find in the UK), and it fits!
I wish I had more (read: any) center projection. That is really the only problem with this bra, It's super soft and sexy and is very tight for a 30 band (Thank you Parfait!) but I just can't wear it because it's made for someone with even projection... That is sooo not me, unfortunately. It's a great quality bra though, so I would recommend it to anyone... mostly for how soft it is. It's really freaking soft and silky!
I think a lot of Parfait bras are good for even shapes, this one is another winner for me. It's open enough on top and gives a nice lift, but also doesn't have much in the way of center fullness, which is what I want in a bra. It's a very pretty bra too, with lace bow print on the top of the cup and is otherwise very simple. That is perfect for my general style - a little bit of embellishment but not too much!
Super pretty bra, but I don't have the inner fullness to fill out the whole cup. Otherwise it fits very nicely. Surprisingly, I think it would be a great t-shirt bra because I could only see seams where I couldn't fill the cup when I tried it on under my clothes.
This is one of my favorite bras! It give me a nice rounded low-profile look and works very well for my shape. I like this bra soo much that I bought two and ended up dying the pink one (since I don't like pink at all) to purple! The stitching and lace didn't take the dye, but I still like it soo much better now that it's purple and pink instead of just pink. I think this is good for someone who is shallow to average projection and definitely good for FoB ladies.
