I'm so sad this bra gave me the dreaded quad boob. I think I'd need an FF in order for it to fit correctly, but even so, it gave me a super weird shape. It looks fine from the front, but from the side it's this odd pointy weirdness. (The upside down 7 thing) And this is so pretty! Also, I think I'm just not into non-padded bras, because my nipples got all smooshed and seemed like they were in a weird spot underneath the cups, which also made them point outward. That may have something to do with the weird shape on me.
This bra is very nice, and SHOULD fit...but doesn't. Definitely another shape mis-match issue. Although the wire matches up quite well, I constantly felt constricted at the bottom of the cup, while I could never quite fill out the top. I feel this would be better for someone either shallower, or at least with a more even shape. Additionally, I although the lace is pretty, I find it has a tendency to pill, even when handwashed.
I'm a little conflicted about how to describe this bra. On one hand, it fits very, very well - shape matches well to mine, wires are narrow enough to match my breasts, nearly enough bottom projection, so the bra generally stays in my inframammary fold...
...yet I pretty must always take it off as soon as I get home from work. It's just not a very comfortable bra! I think it's a combination of being a little too tight and being too padded, like Charlotte; this bra is just a little too hot for Texas! I'm keeping it in the rotation for now, but I think it will go into my resell pile once I have found a bra to replace it.
The bra did not match the shape of my breasts at all; major, major shape inconsistency. As far as I can tell, their isn't enough immediate projection, so the bra was immediately pushed down to make room higher up. This had the effect of being a) massively uncomfortable and b) very ugly looking.
Sadly, the bra is immediately going into my "to sell" pile. It's a pretty bra! Just not for me.
Like most Parfait by Affinatas bras, it is quite pretty. The bra has an outer sling on the cups that I suspect is supposed to make the breasts look more projected versus east/west. Love this brands styling but hate their fit. I suspect this bra runs a cup small, since both my boobs quadboob and one of my boobs is a cup size smaller than the other. The band on this is pretty firm 34, I suspect when it was new it was a very tight 34.
I was really excited to get this bra, it was convertible to a strapless, and I am in need of one of those since I have none.
As a strapped bra, at first glance this fit pretty good, the band was a snug 34, which I like. There was space at the bottom of the cup, but I wasn't concerned with that since I am somewhat Full On Top. The gore didn't lay flat, which started giving me a clue it might be a cup size too small, along with the underwires not reaching back enough. then I started to feel a rubbing on ...the top-side of the cups under my arm, very uncomfortable. The way the bra is made the top of the underwire channel is a bit thick and rubs my skin. I was still holding out hope it would be good as a strapless.
As a strapless it was a total disaster. The band held up fine, it has silicone gel to help keep it up, but the cups became mis-shapen with out the straps and since I have very soft breasts, there is no structure so my breasts just settled to the bottom of the cup, while the cup gaped badly on the top.
I believe even in a 34FF this bra wont fit me right,so sad https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Even though I just got this bra, its gotta go, will be listing it shortly. Read more 136 more words
bought this on a whim because of a sale, but like i suspected, parfait bras just dont work for me. the shape i get from this is the same "block boob" sort of thing ive ogtten from others in the brand- it looks very squared off when looking down.
For this bra, its probably exacerbated by the fact that the cup seems too small/ shallow. i can hardly scoop into it, and when i do it feels like the cups push into my chest and try and push tissue out by my underarms. the gore cant actually tack because the cups are too small. i don't think i'm going ...to hazard trying this one cup up, because even in cups where i had enough room, Parfait by Affinitas bras seem not to mesh with my shape. i will say however, that the top is open enough not to cut into my tall breast shape.
itds a damn shame this doesnt work- its so pretty! the pink is super vibrant, and theres all sorts of lace up the tops of the cups and the sids of them near the band, as well as little tassle details.
the band feels snug but fine- it only goes to 33, so for those needing a 34 inch long band, they may want to use an extender with this. i can comfortably fasten it, and my underbust measures between 33 and 34 most days. Read more 129 more words
I'm beginning to think anything by Parfait by Affinitas is going to be awful on me. This is the 3rd bra I've tried by them, all different sizes and styles, and i hate it. It seems like lots of people love the brand- i don't know what makes it fit so wrong! I always get weird cube boob and it seems like the apex of the cup is meant to be way farther off to the side than i need.
The band on this feels way too tight on the loosest hook- i can close it, but *just*. The cups appear fine, until move my arms at all, ...and then its gape city near the center. i don't think it brings my breasts in at all, and i look very wide. The straps could be set in a little more, but i cant tell if they'd be an issue since i couldn't wear this for longer than a few seconds without needing to take it off. The front half of the strap is a weird oblong shape, and the last half is adjustable and stretchy.
The purple is a beautiful deep color, and the lace is beautiful, but this is going back to Bare Necessities if i cant sell it first. Im getting really sick of buying and returning entire batches of bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 121 more words
I don't really know what to say about this one. The band is too tight, so it's deforming the wires and exaggerating the fit issues. The cups don't cause quadboob, but they are flattening my boobs, especially in the center. I get the impression that the cups are too small, but in an unusual way. The cup is much bigger on the outside edge, so I guess the volume is distributed in a way that is not flattering to me. The straps don't have a lot of length left, and I have high-set boobs. It just feels like a 30/32F in some kind of strange disguise.
On the other hand, it does have built-in pouches for padding and some side boning.
Band is a little snug compared to other 34's I own, but not tight enough to need to go up a band size. Contoured cups are perfectly sized & wires are wide just the way I like them. The structure of the cups smoothly hides any breast size difference.Design is exotic and sexy. Leopard print mesh over black 1/2-way up cups with two decorative satin vertical strips of ribbon (looks like seams from a 4-part cup). Red satin bow decorates the center gore with a cute round silver charm dangling from it, imprinted with the brand name. Straps are fully adjustable elastic with pretty crocheted edging. Bra is comfortable except for slightly tight band which I expect will stretch out quickly. An extender is always an option at first. I will definitely be looking at more Parfait by Affinitas bras in the future!
