This is a lined-lace underwire bra. It's labeled as a T-shirt bra, but I prefer a smooth moulded cup for under a tee. The shape of the cup would be best for breasts that are wide-set and nipples point out. I am wide-set but point straight forward so a scoop & sweep caused the nipple to pop out. I could tuck it back in, but am afraid of falling out with movement. Returned.
About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts
* average projection
* wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts)
* very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line)
* short roots
* even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full)
* mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away)
* conical shape (but will squish to round)
* full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue
* petite (5'3") so have narrow frame

I am on the shallower end of average projection with very tall and wide roots, close set.
I bought this bra because I noticed that my Freya Deco in 30DD was getting a little small in the cup. This was a good price in 30E, so I took a chance. I found this bra to be extremely shallow at the bottom. It's also a little too closed on top for my tall roots. Strangely, the gore doesn't lay flat against my chest either, which is very uncommon for me. I'm thinking that the cups are still too small or shallow for me? I'm not sure what's going on. This bra just doesn't work for my body type.

This is such a beautiful, lacey little number! Unfortunately these cups run extremely shallow. I can not even wear this around the house if I wanted too. Tall cups. This seems it would do well with tall and shallow roots.

Very nice and delicate bra. It's made of sheer, soft and elastic mesh and lace. 2-parts cup seems to be not very projected at the bottom, but very deep at the apex and quite open on top. The band is true to size. It's quite soft, but being very wide, it gives good support. It has 4 columns of hooks and eyes, and I can hardly fasten the tightest ones. To tell the truth, it's not easy to put on the bra because of 5 hooks per column.
The only complain is that the bra comes quite high at the armpit area.

Sexy bra. A bit of a quad boob. Too long a band.

I wish this bra's wires were shorter. The long wire is causing my sternum and armpit to push down the bra so that the bottom of the wire eventually moves down from my IMF. Otherwise it is nearly perfect. I usually don't have much luck with non-stretch lace, but this worked out well, quite possibly due to the open top.

This cute bra is very supportive and slightly minimizing. The band is pretty snug without being uncomfortable. As someone who is very FoB, I expected this bra, like many balconettes, to have cups that gape a lot on top, but here the cups are barely gaping, and not at all if I swell my chest.
The only flaw of this bra, to me, is its straps are too far apart on front, to the point where they cut into my armpits, and sometimes it hurts. It is still wearable, but maybe not all day long. Had the straps been even just half an inch closer on each side, the bra would be much more comfortable.

I kind of figured the cup & underwire of this would be a bit wide for me but I still decided to buy it hoping that it will at least fit comfortably since I have a bra with the same measurements that fits ok. I should have listen to my gut feeling. Unfortunately, of all the bras I bought here, this one is the least comfortable. First of all, the band is too big (which I expected) so I wear it on the last hook. I was happy that there was very little to no gaping on top but not only is the cup & underwire a bit ... too wide for me, the wire is not sitting flat on my underbust. The wire sits high up & feels very uncomfortable. It seems to be poking my ribs. I have bras with the same wire lenght & cup width that is comfortable to wear & I'm trying to figure out why this isn't feeling the same. This bra would've been great if the wire was just comfortable. I'm not sure if it's the type of wire or the way the underwire sits but the wire seems to be being pushed down after a while so it doesn't really stay on my inframammary fold. It makes me want to take the wire off. That's how uncomfortable it is. I'm wondering if the cup is too shallow on the bottom for me. Not exactly sure. The straps are also too far apart. It makes me want to fix that. I'm trying to find a way to make this bra work but the underwire is just so uncomfortable that it starts hurting especially on the sides by the armpit.
Edit: I wore it again on the last hook & fixed the wire a bit or bend the wire a lil & it seems more bearable to wear. It's a lil more comfortable.

I have augmented breasts with very tight cleavage. The wires uncomfortably poked my inner breast tissue and left indents within 10 minutes as the gore is too high/wide set for my anatomy. Improved with the shifting of the wire toward the outer sides, which gave me about a half inch of space from the top of the gore, but it's still a little pokey. Such a shame, it's a beautiful bra!

I wear this mostly as a special occasion bra, and it seems to have held up for that purpose in the several years I've had it. When I purchased I had the theory that I could wear it as a nicer everyday bra as well, since the cups are molded and appear smooth under clothes. I find that the straps are a little wide set for me though, which irritates my armpits after awhile. My shoulders are quite broad, so I have no idea how anyone with average to narrow shoulders could wear this or most other plunge styles comfortably. It's my eternal conundrum: I like a good plunge for the low gore due to my close-set breasts, but the straps are usually wide-set and irritating.

Surprisingly, this cup does not immediately crease and/collapse; good immediate projection. I see signs of a "potential future collapse", but it withstood the initial wearing better than most. For example, Natori Feathers instantly collapses. It is definitely more projected than Natori Feathers. I'd suggest this cup has average projection, but better than most when compared to only other plunges.
The color nearly matches my very, very pale skin. This definitely works for me as a "nude." And, it would look stunning on darker skin!
I prefer a smaller band because this one is stretchy; comfortable, but not the support I prefer.
In summary, the gore is very low, very narrow, and the immediate projection is better than most plunges. This bra is in a league of its own https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />

This Sexy Fashion bra is exactly what it claims to be...sexy and for fashion.
The most noticeable characteristic of this bra are the extremely high side wings. I was looking for high side wings and I got it! It can be uncomfortable. I actually have gotten used to it so it doesn't bother me anymore. If you were thinking high side wings are good for breast tissue migration, this may not be the bra you are looking for. The structure is not very stiff so it doesn't hold the tissue in place. This bra may work for very tall people with ... tall torsos and/or low set breasts?
The underwires are relatively soft and not too stiff. Although the gore is very high for my close-set breasts, the underwires don't seem to bother me. The underwires are "U" shaped. Since the underwires are quite long and the side wings high, you may want to ensure your breasts are also "U" shaped. The underwires don't really fit the shape of my breasts. I have to keep pulling the ends of the underwire by my arm pits out to accommodate my "Nike swoosh"-shaped breasts. Having said that, I can wear this bra all day and not have pain with the underwires. Yeah, for softer underwires!!
The other noticeable thing about this bra is the fabric. The cups are made out of a lovely lace and mesh. This material actually conforms to the shape of my breasts so I feel like it fits me quite well. My breasts are projected. There is a bit of a gap at the top by the strap but I get that with most of my bras so that is just my boob shape. Anyway, I love that the bra fits my breasts so well because of the material! On the downside, the fabric isn't supportive enough to give support to my breasts. There is lot of jiggle and bouncing happening. I would say it is the most unsupportive bra I own. It is more supportive than if I wasn't wearing a bra, but only slightly more supportive. When the word "fashion bra" is used, I think it is true. The bra is more for looks than for support. If you don't mind a more natural look with jiggle, then this bra may work for you.
I actually love the way this bra looks. I decided to keep this bra because it is so pretty. It is great for lingerie. I feel comfortable in it and it actually fits the shape of my boobs. I haven't had any distracted viewers watching me bounce (bear in mind I am a 28F/FF and usually wear looser tops), so I don't feel self-conscious in it. All in all, I would say it is a great sexy and fashion bra. If you are looking for lingerie or for a great date night bra, it may be just what you are looking for.

Despite the name, the Passionata Let's Play Balconette Bra is actually a half cup style. Like most half cup bras, it has a high gore. As in most half cup bras, its straps are wide-set in front. The bra cups covered almost my entire chest. This bra otherwise fit well.
Because the gore was about two inches too high for me, I experimented with cutting down the wires. I removed about two inches from each. The gore doesn't hurt me with the shortened wires. I then found the shape and fit were excellent without the wires. The shape from the side is round. Without the wires, the bra cups barely come up high enough to cover my small aeroles and nipples. This is how much half cup bras are supposed to cover. All other half cup bras I've tried in my 30F size range have had about as much coverage as full cup bras are supposed to have.

This bra is ok. It's definitely not the most supportive or sexy bra I own. The shape is kind of 'bland' - not horrible but doesn't do much. Not a lot of lift or projection, but not uncomfortable or ugly either. The band is mostly lace. Doesn't always want to stay in place anymore, but the bra is also helplessly old. Now that I've lost a little weight maybe it's a little big. Not exactly gaping at the top but I don't think I'm filling the whole cup, although it's hard to say where the issue is (probably upper outer corners, mostly), but a size down would probably be too small.

This bra is virtually identical to the Perfects Australia Adeline. Very slight variations in the measurements, but the fit is the same.
As in my review for the Adeline, my biggest issue with this one is that the racerback comes up so high on my short torso that the straps cut in the back of my neck and became painful very quickly. If you are tall and/or have a long torso (so that the back lace is lower), you would probably do OK with this bra.

I'll write a full review later. For now, I want to say that my average projection boobs find this molded cup bra to have surprising projection. The cups are mercifully low coverage for a UK bra. The wire width is average, comparable to that of my 65F Ewa Michalak 3D bras. The gore is on the low side for a plunge. Not all plunges, I've found, have what I consider to be plunge gores.
In the same Nordstrom visit, I tried the Chantelle Festivite Plunge Bra, whose gore and coverage strongly resembles the Passionata Brooklyn's. They're owned by the same company. Nordstrom only had my 32E UK sister ... size in Festivite. The 32E Chantelle Festivite on the tightest hooks had slight cutting in at the center gore area and wider wires than the 30F UK Brooklyn. I hope to do a direct 30F to 30F comparison someday. The Festivite has noticeably lower coverage than, say, C Chic Plunge.
The projection and coverage of Passionata Brooklyn in 30F in the Light Nude color resemble those of my 65F Ewa Michalak 3D bras, though Ewa's cups are more horizontal and Brooklyn's are more vertical. Brooklyn doesn't have any bra band parts that scratch me. The scratchiness of Ewa Michalak hook and eye sections is a pet peeve. Brooklyn is much lower coverage than Freya Deco, btw.
I would like to thank hourglassy.com for its Curve coverage, which made me aware of Passionata's molded T-shirt bra, Brooklyn. I saw the very plunge-y gore, discovered my local Nordstrom had a few, and got to try it on in person.
Beware retailers' sizing. The Nordstrom associate didn't understand US versus UK sizing. She tried to hand me a 30DDD, which is equivalent to UK 30E. She also didn't know this Nordstrom carries L'Agent or has some sexy high waist briefs. Nordstrom bra staff knowledge is hit-or-miss. A sales associate may learn from a Bratabaser on occasion!

So sexy, but straps are set too wide and dig into my armpit and the wire digs into my ribs- it is just the wrong shape for me or something. I have outgrown the cup, though it doesn't go quadboob it just doesn't have enough room for my breasts. I've only worn it once as the wire being the wrong shape made me realize quickly it was not going to be comfortable.

I have to say I love this bra! I found it at T.K. Maxx for less than €12. It was the first time I had ever tried a 65 (30) in band width and I am so happy I did. The band fits very snug against my chest and I had thought that bras would never sit tight against my sternum since I am close set. However, this bra changed my mind is has led me to re-evaluate all the bras that I own. For reference: I have projected, slightly FOB, close set, medium-narrow roots and big(ish) areolas.
Band: I love that the band is so thick, even ... though it is a pain in the butt to get on and off sometimes. I is perfectly tight and the wires do not dig into me during the day.
Cups: I unfortunately would most likely need a slightly more full coverage bra in order to keep my boobs in. If I am running after a little one or trying to catch a train is is very likely that they will pop out entirely. Mostly due to the flexibility of the lace fabric. The cups are a bit wider than I would prefer for my medium narrow root, but I should think they would be perfect on someone with wider set. Also, there is a bit of extra fabric always folding at the bottom. I can not tell if this is because the underwire is so high up towards my arm pit and perhaps movement of my arms is pushing the whole bra down or not. Perhaps it is just a shallow style. No quadboob!
Straps: The straps can be adjusted plenty. I am usually a short as they can go kind of girl, and have had no problem with these straps at all. They also do not slide down during the day and I rarely (if ever) have to readjust the straps.
Gore: I am close set and find that the gore sits perfectly without battling with the ladies for space. This is one of the first bras I felt did a great job at separating them without making me pay for it.
Overall quality: I really love the lace look and find it to be a great bra. The quality of the fabric is both comfortable and of good quality. I do however, wish that it were just a simple color instead of the bright orange and white. I am not really one into colorful bras since I tend to wear a lot of black and white.

That is lovely! I appreciate the texture on the cup and the lace. And, projection--Woo Hoo! :-) :-)
