This bra is amazing and not that expensive, it fits well, it's a little push up but not too much, makes your cleavage look great !! I also have it in white and oatmeal. It's flattering, can be wear under a tee shirt, dress etc ...
This bra is so beautiful. The embroidery is gorgeous, and trying it on feels like wearing something decadent. However, this bra was not the right shape for me. The gores were too wide, and the cup was shaped for more gradual projection, which led to me spilling out from the center of the cups while still not filling the sides of the cups.
Love how it looks! However, being longline and back fastening, the crossover staps (X at the back) make this bra so, so awkward to put on. The slightly moulded cups have a lovely shape, and it feels as though it should stay in place all day with the extra support at the ribs. It really helps smooth out that roll you can get under a bra band.
I wanted to love it because it is so beautiful. The straps are way too wide apart and barely sit on my shoulders. The wires are on my boobs at the gore. Maybe it’s the wrong size but I feel like it’s a shape mismatch.
Soooo beautiful. The band is a tiny bit too tight so I will use an extender at first. I have a tiny bit of room on top in the lace section but it doesn’t affect the silhouette because it is stretchy. Note that on the 34F there is boning at the sides.
The bra looks really cute and the straps are very soft and comfortable. However it seems like in the centre my breasts don't fit in completely and it pokes a bit under my armpits. Other than that I think the bra is okay.
I think the band is quite snug, and the cups are a little smaller than usual. Which is probably why the cups fit me in this size, otherwise might have needed a smaller size. The underwires are wide enough for my wide roots. I often have a problem with not quite filling the top of the cup with my bottom heavy boobs. Even in this bra, there is very slight wrinkling in the top lace on the left cup (my left breast is the smaller one), but it's not disturbing.
I think it helps, that the lace on the top of the cups is not too "fluffy". It's sturdy ...enough, so that it doesn't wrinkle so easily. But the lace is still stretchy.
But I must admit this is not the most comfortable bra. Supportive yes, but not comfortable. I wonder if it's because the underwire is quite hard. I can't wear this bra all day. Not for longer than 8 hours at a time maximum. Actually today I've only worn this bra for around 5 hours, and I want to take it off already! But I don't think the band is too tight, it has more to do with the underwire being hard, and the straps are quite narrow.
Also, the straps are a bit wide for my narrow shoulders.
Pros:
- Underwires are wide enough for wide roots - The lace on top of the cups adjusts to different breast shapes (stretchy, but still sturdy > doesn't wrinkle easily) - Good support level - Gives boobs a nice shape and lift - Nice design and look - Quality is excellent; I have used this bra regularly for a while, and it's still snug and supportive
Cons:
- The straps could be wider (would be more comfortable) - The underwire is quite hard, so it can feel uncomfortable - Horizontal wrinkles on bottom of the cups (not enough immediate projection?) - Too wide straps
All in all, surprisingly good quality and very supportive bra, but not the most comfortable one. Read more 219 more words
Wow, this bra is so pretty! It's very small, in both cup and band. I'd say it's more like a 28FF. If I could find this bra in a 32FF, I would definitely buy it.
This bra looked great when I tried it on by itself. Once I put a shirt over it, I realized that my breasts looked flattened on top. The top section of the cup doesn’t stretch so I think there just isn’t enough room for my larger breast, especially. I might like this better one cup size bigger.
The bra is supportive. The gore tacks. The fabric is a little scratchy, but I think it may soften with more wear/washing. It comes in such pretty colors, too!
This bra gives me strange horizontal wrinkles at the bottom inside quarter of the cup. I think this may be caused by a) not enough immediate projection and/or b) the band being the tiniest bit too tight on me rn - I ordered it in my normal size, but currently weigh about 15 kg more which makes all of my bands overly tight atm. But it's so pretty! Ah, and the upper quadboob effect is... well, as suspected. I knew this might be happening and it did.
What did you learn from this bra? - This particular bra is slightly more generous in the cups than other bras from the same brand, and the band was very tight for a 32 band and felt more like a 28 or 30.
What's good about this bra? - This bra was and still is a favorite. The cups are soft and plush, straps are fully adjustable, 3 rows of hook and eye closures, the band being tight worked with my 29 inch underbust, created a very rounded smooth look under clothes, kept breasts forward and slightly at the sides but not so much ...that my arms would bump into them.
Does it poke, comfortable? -No poking and was comfortable, but when sitting and leaning forward, the underwire and band would cut in a bit at the front.
Did it stretch out? -It did stretch out, unfortunately, but it lasted a decent amount of time (8 to 10 months).
Pros - Seamless cups - No embellishments for a seamless look - Tight band - Fully adjustable straps - Decent price ($40 at regular, $30 when on sale at Bare Necessities).
Cons - Limited size range (Would really appreciate larger cup sizes as the brand goes up to a HH in some of their other bras). - Limited Color Selection (So far I have only seen Natural and Black, more variation for more skin tones would be nice). - Straps are VERY stretchy and thin as tape but just wide enough. - If you are full-on-bottom, you might need to go down 1 cup size for a better fit. The cups are also a bit on the tall side. - Underwires in the casing can be a little squeaky.
Additional Comments: I have seen a review somewhere that compared it to the Freya Deco as being cheaper and having a lower center gore. Read more 190 more words
I really like this bra. Normally Pour Moi in a 30F is too small for me. This one is too big. I think a 30FF would fit me in this one, but I don't think it's available in that size.
I got Pour Moi Electra Side Support in white. It has a net overlay which looks good. Also has a vertical panel on both sides which should provide additional support.
At first I was happy because the gore didn't poke my sternum, which is a issue I've had with Curvy Kate (Victory, Dottie and lesser extent Ellace).
There were some wrinkles on the bottom sides, but I could live with that.
I'd worn the bra for about 15 mins when it started feeling uncomfortable. The band had slud down out of my imf and was pressing into my skin.
I put the band on the 2nd hook. A minute later the sides of my breasts ached.
Sadly returning this bra.
Projected, full on bottom, probably narrow roots. Still figuring out shape and cup size.
