This is another Skarlett Blue style that didn't work out for me. Generally I fit into 30D in this brand, but the bands are a little stretchy and I felt I could size down. Unfortunately, this is not the right style to size down in, as the band runs quite small.
I could get the band hooked, but I could tell immediately that it was distorting the wires. Since these wires are flexible, they didn't dig into my body, but distorted and splayed quite badly. The cups are made from flimsy mesh and once the wires were distorted, they flattened right out. Basically, this ... bra was like a chest binder on me. Extremely uncomfortable and unflattering. However, given the cup construction, I don't think sister sizing to a 30D would make this a good style for me.
The term balconette implies that this bra should give some degree of lift and support, but I find that the cup construction here is not capable of giving the required level of lift. The mesh feels like the type you might find in a stretch mesh panty or in sleepwear, not the powermesh you might be familiar with from a supportive bra. Like most of Skarlett Blue's designs, the cups don't have much shaping, relying on a center front half seam in the cup to create the cup shape. Because of this, I think this bra would only work on true B cups and below who don't expect much shaping or lift from their bra, and would be happy to wear something comfortable and unpadded. You would also want to sister size up one band size as wearing a tight band here will also constrict the cups.
