My breast tissue is migrating back to where it belongs, and this bra is now too small for me. I quad out of it, and it gapes open whenever I move. The super stretchy band is too loose as is, and I had to take it in a bit (bratabase measurements are for unaltered band). The gore came up to high, and dug into my sternum. I moved the wires towards the outside of their casing, and put a few stitches in to hold them in place, and that fixed the issue. It's a very comfortable bra, I wish it fit me better.
Update: I'm now a 30E, and the cups of this bra are uncomfortably too small. The band is still too wide.
This is a bra that needed to be broken in to be comfortable. The wires were very two dimensional, and my rib cage doesn't have a lot of padding on it. It was painful to wear at first. It took a couple of weeks for the underwire to mold to my rib cage. Once it did, the bra became much more comfortable. Some initial wrinkling at the top of the cup disappeared, too.
I fill out the bottom of the cup nicely, but have noticed that the supportive mesh material in the cup has a bit more give to it than I ...was hoping for. My breasts are wide and shallow, so the lack of support isn't too much of an issue.
The center gore is a little bit too high and does poke, but as with the @Victoria's Secret Lined Demi, GP-303-180, the wire can be shifted back in it's sheath by about a quarter of an inch. This makes it much more comfortable, and I will probably put a few stitches in it to hold that position.
The band runs true to size, and is noticeably more snug than the super stretchy band on the @Victoria's Secret Lined Demi, GP-303-180.
Update: My bra size has changed to a 30E, and this bra is uncomfortably small in the cups. The band is still huge. Read more 122 more words
I always thought that it fit comfortably, but taking a closer look I can tell that it is an improper fit. The gore doesn't even come close to sitting flush with my chest. Although the cups are a bit small as they squish tissue on the side, they still bubble up in the centre near the gore. I am sure if it was on someone that actually fit it the bra would look fantastic.
Pros: Super extra comfy silky fabric on the inside. looks like a pirate bra (black/white stripes with neon pink straps) makes the ladies look exceptional cute ruffled straps are nice to show off
Cons: cute ruffled straps are sort of uncomfy stripe pattern shows under everything
i like this bra but the neon color means i have to wear a cami or a thick shirt. also not crazy about the lace on the sides, it shows under most shirts and it's scratchy on your arms if you are walking around in your bra without a shirt. the material is soft though and it's pretty comfy for all day wear.
Well, the Fabulous bra is my favorite style from VS, but I cannot wear it! Literally, ONLY THIS BRA, the material it's made with, it does not breathe AT ALL. all my other VS bras, totally fine. the Fabulous bra, every time I wear my beautiful white & nude lacy bra, my boobs always end up sweaty! it really sucks! other than that, this bra provides fabulous lift. best style ever, but I always end up gravitating towards the Very Sexy style my boobs don't end up sweaty. it really bums me out. aside from the sweat problem, this bra is really comfortable.
Has anyone else had the problem with sweaty boobs with the Fabulous style? I know it's the type of material/padding they use, because all of my other bras breathe just fine.
This bra was really difficult to get accurate measurements out of! The wires are encapsulated within fabric, which makes it very comfortable, but hard to tell where they start and end! This is really a nice t-shirt bra. The fabric is very smooth, and the straps are nice and narrow. The gore is VERY low, so this bra would work well for anyone with close-set breasts. This bra probably wouldn't work for anyone who's extremely shallow, but I fall in the shallow spectrum and it works for me!
Like most of my bras, the cups on this one are too far apart/small for my shallow boobs. It was also probably a mistake to go for a push-up when I could get quad boob at the top. This model used to be my go-to, my best fit, my favorite. But ever since I started migrating to bras that fit me better, this model doesn't fit me as well. And I never did have much luck with going up to VS 34DDs. Oh well.
The quality is very good, though, it's unobtrusive under shirts, and I got it in the colors I wanted. Comfort is fine (aside from the ...fact that the cups are too dang small for me), and my older bras of this model might have stretched a bit but they were even more poorly-sized and I've had those since I-don't-remember-when. Might have been two years. Overall, not bad, would recommend giving it a try in the store at least. Just make sure you have all your boobage in there, and probably don't wear push-ups every day like I did. Read more 73 more words
Like most of my bras, the cups on this one were slightly too small/far apart for my shallow boobs. (And the 34DD cut into my armpits horribly, so no go there.) But it IS the closest thing to a perfect fit I've had as of yet. It's one of the most comfortable bras I've ever worn. The first time I tried it on, I was surprised by how snug it was but I felt ready to climb a mountain and punch out a bear!! (The cup/strap intersection isn't so wide as to cut into my armpit muscle as much as some other VS models, making punching things seem easier.) The band and gore have stayed perfectly snug, it hasn't noticeably stretched, hasn't slipped, it hasn't ever poked me, and the super awesome front-clasp is something I wish all bras had. It's very strong and it still fits great over a year later, even without adjustable hooks. And it's freakin' cute to boot. If I continue buying meh-fits-me-good-enough bras from VS, it will probably be something like this model.
Disclaimer: I am a muscular girl with 'shallow boobs' I'd initially thought this bra was comfortable. But the gore does not touch my sternum. The top outer sides of the cups cut into my pectoral muscles on their way to my armpits. And I bump out of the top a bit. Boobs are slightly sore after all-day compression. I obviously needed to try a bigger cup. But then I tried 34DD and that cut into my armpits UNBEARABLY. Settled for this one because I didn't know better at the time to switch to a different cup style.
On the upside, it's held up well for over a year, it has stayed 'okay' comfortable for all that time, never pokes me, straps stay up, and I can wear it for a week at a stretch, so yay quality, at least.
This bra looks good under t-shirts, and is a smooth, shiny material, lightly lined.
It has a very low center gore, and shaped cups. It is good for close set boobs.
This size 32DD is too small in cups now (since I've gained weight), and is slightly too big in the band (I really need a 30). Because of this, the center gore is not able to be held in place against my sternum, despite the low height of the inside wires.
Since the band is very stretchy, and slightly too big, the underwires tend to slide down and get pressed into my ribcage, as the cups wrinkle. I did not have this problem as much when the cup size fit me better.
Fits my shallow breasts well and definitely gives them some extra oomph! Gore tacks at the bottom but not at the top, but with the construction of this bra, it doesn't look like it's supposed to tack at the top. Not quite as firm in the band as the Felina Bra of the Year, but still doesn't require too much adjusting throughout the day.
This is one of the Christmas edition of the very sexy series in 2011 if I remembered correctly. The red and black color looks very sexy, there're also golden linings on the black lace flower patterns. I only wore it twice, because it's one of my better bras. It is comfortable, but I recently found out that its size is not a perfect fit for my measurement.
