I usually wear a 34B but that just felt too loose, so I tried a 32C, the band fit much better, but I think the cups might be getting a little bit distorted. I have rather shallow breasts and this makes them look even shallower, that didn't happen with the 34B. Overall it seems like a well made bra and it is very comfortable.
There was a sale. and my mom pitched $20 at me, so I couldn't resist even though I knew they wouldn't have anything that would come close to fitting me without alterations...
First off, I have breastfeeding boobies! So this bra may not even fit me after I wean my DD.
I altered the band by basting the clasp area, easily undone in case it's time to move on from her (yes, I am referring to the bra as a 'her').
This bra fits around my boobs really well. The only things that is uncomfortable is the fact that the band is too big for me, so it leaves all the weight on the straps which leaves lots of marks on my shoulders. The straps also slide off my shoulder, no matter how tight I make them. Other than the band and the straps, this is the most fitting bra I've worn to date. After plenty of washes and use, it does stretch, but since I already had it on the tightest it would go, it just weighed more and more on my shoulders. I have had the bra for a while and the under wire is poking out on the right side.
This bra fits well for a few hours, and then you need to reload and lock the girls in. The wires seem to cut into my armpits slightly, mainly after sitting for lengths of time with lots of arm movement (ie:typing or filing). All in all a very sexy piece which gives a great silhouette and after a few months, still seems to be holding shape.
I like the smooth exterior material and soft inner cup. Strap length adjusters stay put better than most. I get poked in the sternum (but I know its the wrong size) by the underwire.
comfortable material, very stretchy material, straps do not adjust. Has been altered multiple times. this bra is falling apart but its comfortable enough that i put up with it. would not buy again.
This was the first bra I owned that fit in the cup and the band simultaneously. Bonus that it's also the first bra I owned that sat flat against my sternum and didn't ride up in the back. It is exceptionally comfortable, and I prefer to wear it over any other bra I own. Super practical and not ugly either. It's only downside is that I can't seem to order it online https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I try to avoid Victoria's Secret now that I know better, but I needed a strapless bra for an event, and a trip to two different Nordstrom's failed to turn up anything that worked for me. I have shallow breasts with a wide root and it seems strapless bras are just not made for the way I'm shaped. Most of them try to enclose too much tissue on the top and the top edge of the cup cuts into my chest and creates a quad-boob, even when there's unfilled space in the cup. I observed that problem with the Freya Deco Shape Moulded Strapless Longline Bra ...(1462) , the Wacoal Red Carpet Convertible (854119) , and the Chantelle Sublime Invisible Strapless Bra (3954) . I also tried on every strapless bra at Victoria's Secret, and this was the only one that even came close to being open enough on the top.
The smallest band available for this bra is 32, so that's what I went with, even though I really need a 30. Even for the first wearing, I had to put it on the tightest hook to keep it from moving around. There's a lot of padding in the cups, which makes them smaller than they "should" be. I also would have gone up a cup size, but DD was the largest that they made, so I went with it because it was still the best fit I'd found.
Anyone trying on this bra might be tempted to go with a smaller cup size to get more of a pushup effect and more cleavage, but I would caution against that. My too-small cups started out ok, but as the evening wore on, the cups were overpowered by my boobs and buckled in the center, causing the top 50% of the cup to spill outward, and I don't even have heavy boobs. Fortunately, my dress had ruching across the top, so nobody could see my weirdly folded bra. I think if I put the straps on this, that would help hold the top of the cup up and keep that from happening, but if I were wearing something where I could wear a bra with straps, I wouldn't be wearing this bra.
As for appearance, this is a fairly attractive bra for a strapless. They put some little pleats on the cups where they meet the center gore, which makes them a little less plain than your standard featureless strapless, but they don't extend out far enough to cause lumps under clothing. Front closure with "T-back" racer back style. Mesh back with lightly lined cups.. Cups and back are a white fabric with a watercolour/paint splotch pattern. The cups are lined with the "PINK" pink fabric lining. A very comfortable bra. I purchased it when I was a 30DD hoping to find a good (misguided) fit. I would be better for a 32 or 34 band wearer since it is front closure and does not have an adjustable band length. In contrast, all 3 straps of the back are individually adjustable, which is a great feature. I wish more racerback bras had fully adjustable straps, allowing it to adjust to different shoulder lengths and widths.
This bra is more of my sister size, not even totally that, but it's really comfortable so I wear it when I'm just lying around the house and don't have to be out and about anywhere. The fabric is incredibly soft, definitely no problems with underwire poking.
The first time I wore it, the band felt wayyyy too tight, but after a wear or two it's loosened up a bit. Technically, I believe the cups are too small, but it doesn't seem to give me quad boob and there's no wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. Does VS run big?
I ordered the 32DD mostly expecting not to fit into it. Boy was I wrong! (My measured ideal size is 30F or maybe 28FF) The push up bra gives me the cleavage I so desire, especially with shallow breasts. It is not uncomfortable at all and the band is surprisingly not too loose. If I properly scooped and swooped, there would be a bit of a quadboob but who cares! For close-set breasts, this bra is a dream. Glad I can still fit into VS sizes.
Pros: This bra is adorable and the fabric is super soft and comfortable. It's one of my favorites to wear. Con: The gore does not lie flat against my sternum.
I think this would be a great bra if my boobs weren't so widely spaced. There's not much of a center bridge, and the underwire really pokes my left armpit. Just the wrong shape for my boobs and me. But overall it's a pretty bra, and seems to be well made. I like how soft and "fuzzy" the band material seems to be.
This bra feels amazing (and by that, I mean I barely notice I'm wearing it.) I have two of these now. The band is comfortably snug, and has a soft foamy elastic, the straps are also soft and foamy, and the back section with the hooks is extra soft and squishy. I would consider this to really be somewhere between a demi and full-coverage bra. The cups fit quite well. The lace and three seams do not create distracting bumps through my t-shirts like some of my other similar bras (Whimsy-Barbados & Montelle-Coquette) do.
I hope VS continues to make this one for a long time. The quality and comfort are excellent, and this seems to be the only one they make that fits my shape.
I just got this bra about a week ago so I'll have to edit this after awhile. So far so good, though. This bra is really super soft and comfortable. It fits about right in basically every way, so hey that's good.
I wish it came in my size :O
