My first push up since getting my BA that actually works well (and is comfortable)! All is perfect except the cups are a tad too small for me. If my boobs werent very firm I would definitly get a quadboob - however since the point of this bra is to get a vavavoom push up look - I love it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
OMG! I couldn't agree more! I also had my BA over a year ago, and this is my ultimate fav go-to bra! I own 3 of them :) It seems to be the best in terms of "push-up" for augmented breasts. And I also agree, it is a bit small in the cup, but it def works!
This bra is surprisingly well-made. I liked everything about it except the cross-back straps. The 32D was a better fit in the cup height and gave me more support, but the cups on the 32DD were more comfortable. A 30DD/30DDD would probably have been idea, but this bra doesn't come in a 30-band. This is one of my favorite bras and also one of the few VS bras I can wear due to my size. I am 30 D and the sister size 32 C wasn't comfortable. I tried the Dream Angels demi in 32 D after a suggestion from a friend on the tightest hook and tightening the straps and it works perfect. I have this in the solids and lace. The ones that have the lace patterns (white base color with black and white lace around bottom of cups) seem to fit a little different in the center and aren't as comfortable as the solid or lace ones. I look forward to getting some feedback on the bras I've posted.
In light of all I've learned about bras this year, I'd have to re-evaluate the quality of product that VS makes if I were to start wearing their bras again. Which is not an option because they do not deign to offer bras in a size that would fit me. And this saddens me, because I think they make beautiful looking bras. Always have.
Got this Victoria Secret Underwired Very Sexy High Neck Lace Bralette (I believe, a discontinued bra) I don't hate all Victoria Secret bras. I Despise the narrow size range and poor fit advice and often the quality and price points, but I do appreciate that when I have last looked they have expanded beyond their t-shirt and super push up bras. I always hope they will expand their band and cup sizes, because even when I have found bras from there that work for me, usually the band will be too big. I have been losing weight, so I somehow wound up on their site looking for discounted ...bras around side 30DD - 32DDD. I did see some variety and decent sales, but did not find anything to get that would even maybe fit for breif bedroom attire. A few hours later I saw this bra posted on a secondhand seller page new with tags for cheap and decided to bite. It came in like a day, from just across the state. I somehow forgot I ordered it, so getting a bra in my mailbox always makes me happy.
The bra itself seems okay. Maybe not the best quality, but I was curious. I figured that the material would be a semi Stretchy fine lace, which it seems to be which allows for my volume that otherwise probably would not have fit. The lace does not feel too scratchy. There are a few loose threads which it may have arrived to the origenal seller like this (I saw reviews of similar sale bras with complaints of feeling cheaply made) that or perhaps it's from being tried on by the seller. The underwire looks kind of odd, but is not as uncomfortable as expected. It does help push my breasts sort of in a wonky direction, but the matetial is not so stretchy that it contains it somewhat. The underwire is lower than the IMF of one of my breasts, but that almost always happens (its an inch smaller in almost all messurments and higher up on my chest than my other side) Each cup is about 6 inches wide. The "height" luckily is not much taller than my vertical chest (nipple to nape of neck) measurment. The band is not especially firm so i new it would be a bit big there. The straps are thin, and come down to form a Triangle at the band on each side which I have liked in some of my past bras. The straps almost don't adjust enough for me. I have no cleavage in this bra but there isn't supposed to be. It somewhat reminds me of a very sexy balconett bra I had from here, although a totally different style, it had a similar strap band cup width and black lace over nude material to it. I do not adore this bra. It's not the most comfortable, getting a tad itchy at my neck. It's also not a great fit, but I am debating wearing it for a date night. I do hope Victoria Secret continues to expand their bras sizes, styles, and models if they expand (I'm not sure what is up with the company, but that's for another post.) This bra is sort of cute and not horribly unsupportive for short term use. I would have been unhappy if I had paid full price or even close to it, and I am greatful I got a good deal on it that I'm satisfied enough. I Hope to get an xs cosabella bralette some day! Holy SEXY!! I have wanted this bra since I first saw it!! Wow!! So unique and bold! I want this in all the other colors now! It's just so hard to find the right size.
This bra is surprisingly very comfortable! No straps to deal with or slipping off your shoulders, no padding getting in the way, no readjusting necessary. I love the halter style of this bra and the fact that it has wires to keep everything in place. I was really unsure what size to try since it's only available in up to a D cup (and I wear a 32DDD in Vicky). I wanted to try ...the 34D but I knew the band would be too loose. I'm so glad I didn't now! I really never thought the 32D would accommodate the girls, but it actually fits very nicely. If anything, it seems a little baggy and there is some empty space around the bottom of the cup. The lace doesn't have much stretch to it and adjusting the halter strap around the neck gives a bit more room in the "cups." I am pretty surprised at just how roomy they are for being a D cup. Clearly, this bra isn't going for much support. For what it's intended for, it serves its purpose https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> This is def a "sexy time" bedroom piece. The sheer lace, keyhole center and halter strap (which gives it a choker sort of look) scream SEXY!! And I love it!! The rhinestone horseshoe at the "gore" (there really isn't much of a gore on this) adds a little bling along with the gold metal hardware. And it's not really a red colorway as it is a very bright deep pink. I'll have to post some pics and measure it when I get a chance!! I highly recommend this bra!! Read more 205 more words
First off, I have no idea why mine is considered "silver violet lace", as it is not violet in any way, shape, or form. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />
Aside from that, I spent literally about 3 hours in VS yesterday trying to distinguish between certain bras and see which ones fit me. I noticed that in this model, I can wear a 32D or 32C, depending on the material used. Oh, VS. So in the "coconut lace", those run rather large, and in the plain colors, they also run semi larger. In this lace one, it ran smaller. Wtf indeed. Also, as I suspected in the past, ...the "Dream Angels" bras, which have always been my favorite overall, fit my shape best, as long as they're not push-ups. This one and the others I tried have narrower wires and deeper cups compared to say, the Body By Victoria Demis. The cups are also a smidge closer.
This bra in particular has wider wires than I need, but they still aren't particularly wide- just for me personally. VS has also started making tighter bands recently, so I'd say this fits more like a 30-31" band. I noticed this during Christmas when I was trying things on. The only bands that have remained really stretchy seem to be the Body By Victoria's. Panties are also running smaller. I'm a little confused, but whatevs! VS's where I've been in east and west PA and Delaware seem to be sizing a little better also, which is how I even ended up here in the first place since I had always worn 34-36A-C's until 2014. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll have smaller bands and more varied shapes soon, just because it's much more convenient for me to head over to a mall when I need just a basic T shirt bra once in a while.
Speaking of the band, I would actually not recommended buying this particular bra. In the plain colors, yes, but not in this one. The band is VERY itchy and kind of irritating. I unfortunately didn't notice this even though I tried it on several times to make sure I wanted this one xD I've owned various DA bras and never experienced this before.
But anyway, this is probably the one VS bra that I tried that is almost perfect. I would actually recommend this to anyone who still likes VS but realized their bras don't work for their shape. I found a similar DA bra that is a true half cup shape and has removable straps, which also mostly worked. My only issue with that was that it was closed on top and gave me bubble boobs because of that. Perhaps it would have worked in a 32C, but I couldn't find one to test. This one will work for average projection to slightly more projection (I've lost alot of tissue, but looking at myself, I am still clearly projected), and average-slightly narrow width.
I find VS's sizing differences rather annoying, as their width is about 1" more as you go up, but depth is only a few centimeters. I am getting the 32C in the plain color which worked better overall, but is lacking in depth by only about 0.2", I swear. This isn't an issue for my right, smaller side, but it's a little annoying for my left. In any case, I've needed plain beige/blush T shirt bras, and I had a gift card, so might as well until I can order some Basics from Comexim..which will likely be after this coming order.
About the rest of the bra, the straps are fully adjustable, cup distance is less than in most VS bras, cup depth is a little more, bands in the newer DA brs are a little tighter, and cups are overall comfortable. Band is itchy in the "silver lace" overlay bra, and not very comfortable.
Appearance-wise... it's funny, because the more Polish bras I buy, the cheaper VS bras look, and the less appealing they look as well. And they are relatively the same price. This was the less practical bra of the few I was considering, but probably the most sexy. I can't get over the cheap appareance of many of their bras lately, but overall I like this one. It has light pink lace cups with a minimal silver foil overlay, same material for the band, and black straps. Yeah, the straps are what did it for me. I had almost this exact bra before with the same pink straps and I didn't like it nearly as much. xD
Overall, I like it, and it will work for now while I'm preparing/waiting for my Comexim order. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 672 more words
Prettyncharmeuse I tried one similar to that but not that one itself. I had tried the padded ones and the longlines and they were just a little tight. I am going back in an hour to pick up a hold though, so I'll take my measuring tape and see if I can find one :D And omg yes -_- Their prices are ridiculous. I remember buying my first Body By Victoria bra there in 2008 and it was so much cheaper >_< Even those are mostly around $55 now.
Prettyncharmeuse They didn't have it :( I'll keep my eye out for them though
I really like this bra but find that I spill out some if I lean over. I am a weird size, 30 D and 32 C (the sister size) didn't work for me. In this particular bra, I feel like I need to go up to the 32 DD and wonder if anything else has experienced that. I can usually wear the Dream Angels demi in 32 D with it in the tightest hook and straps tight.
I got this bra for my mom (actually might fit gma better -.-?) as a giveaway from a lovely Bratabase user. If you are reading this, thank you very much https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I have wrote the review though, to my measurements.
This bra, like most other VS bras, is very stretchy! It rides up on my back past my shoulder blades (but this is typical. I'm no where near even a standard 32). It will probably be a bit loose on someone who is really a 32
It is very comfy, with springy wires that wont press into the ribcage, and the bra ...feels quite cottonny. It wont really give any support I think. The straps and the band are super thin, despite being a "D" cup. The cups are placed at a standard distance, with a small plunging gore. It's just a bit too wide for me since my breasts are very close set.
Strangely enough, I find that the strap placement isn't insanely wide- it is actually closer together than some of my 24/26 band bras. This leads me to believe that this bra is actually made for petite, younger frames in smaller band sizes. They just can't figure out to shorten their bands yet. Read more 109 more words
Really pleased that VS is coming out with more true demis that work on shallow breasts -- at least for me, anyway, haha. And this one is priced similarly to the "Sexy Tee Demi" (which is really a plunge, let's be honest) at about $30! Not the cheapest bra ever but certainly cheap compared to most of their bras, haha.
It's not the nicest bra ever, I have another bra from VS that's a lot more ~luxurious~, haha, but it works. The only things I'm not thrilled with are how stretchy the band can be (not so stretchy it rides up my back, but stretchy enough that I know it'll stretch out sooner than I'd like), and how thin the band is in the back and the single hook; I wish the wings were taller. But otherwise I'm really happy they came out with a new bra that works with my shape! I have it in two colours, in fact. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This is the bra I got as my one "gratis" bra they give you for free when I first started working at VS, a place that would soon become my own personal extra level of hell. One of their supposed "bra experts" told me (after LOOKING AT THE BRA ON ME) that a 32C push-up was too small and that this one fit better. So I got it. It is waaaaay too big, and feels like I'm walking around wearing an extra set of boobs. Which is kind of awesome, but totally deceptive. I want good cleavage, but not by virtue of the fact that I have mini ...pillows strapped to my chest. This very website has given me hope that such a thing exists and is attainable by (gasp) FINDING A BRA THAT ACTUALLY FITS. which is not something I can accomplish at VS. but I digress. Other than that, if you happen to be the correct measurements for this bra, I imagine it's fantastic. It's very soft, the padding is squishy and wonderful, the straps are self-adjustable, and like the only redeeming characteristic of just about any other VS bra, it looks sexy. Alas, looking sexy isn't enough. Give me my mesh granny ongossamer "bump it!" (what decade are we even in?!) push-up over this any day of the week. Read more 114 more words
I loved the stylish colorblocking on this style and the comfortable padding around the underwire, but unfortunately it didn’t even come close to fitting.
This is a very good bra. It is wireless and wireless bras always come with disadvantages so bear in mind. I was super excited I liked the bra cause I wasn't expecting to. I've tried on lined wireless bras from them and wasn't sold, maybe it worked just cause it's a push up but the main annoying thing was just that the band on the front is so stretchy that it folds over itself right under your boobs in the middle. An issue I have with VS is that the bras always have straps far apart in the front and in the back I wish they placed them closer cause when it is on the loosest hook they don't feel like they will stay.
Like many strapless/convertible bras, the band is tighter than average, which isn't bad, but personally for comfort, I always order a band size up sister size. These cups were very shallow! Which is weird... I don't have considerable projection. I'd say they aren't either way: too shallow nor too projected. This makes me think the bra is abnormally shallow and most likely terrible for top fullness. I am fairly even, but lean more toward bottom fullness. The wires are really comfortable so they must be perfect for the circumference of my roots. Finally, the gore is too wide for me which again I do not have a super ...close nor wide set gap between breasts. 1.5-1.75cm is the width so less than an inch for sure but they don't touch by any means. The fabric is comfortable, but know it is very rubberish. It is by far the most comfortable strapless bra I've worn, but between the issues I have with ugly spillage and the gore being wide, it doesn't make me very pleased. Most likely, the reason the gore is too wide is because the wire is almost 10 inches and reaches higher on the chest -where breasts are closest together. I am tempted to try 32DD, but I fear the cup width would not snugly support my roots or that the cup would become too tall. Read more 120 more words
Cute bra in a pinkish light nude. Fantastic strapless bra, it actually stays up due to the sticky sides. It has very light padding that gives you a perfect lightly rounded shape.
Very comfortable because the underwires are encased in foam but as supportive as other bras with stiffer underwires. The gore is thicker than most bras due to some extra material so it floats in some positions. Underwires don't come very far up the outside. band is very stretchy, definitely size down.
OMG! I couldn't agree more! I also had my BA over a year ago, and this is my ultimate fav go-to bra! I own 3 of them :) It seems to be the best in terms of "push-up" for augmented breasts. And I also agree, it is a bit small in the cup, but it def works!
