I love this bra. The design with the lilac and mauve lace is so sexy and soft. It is "neutral" and understated and would not show through a light colored shirt, but definitely still flirty. The lace covers the cup and even has a tiny scalloped edge that covers the bust just so. The straps are comfortable and super adjustable, as is the gore and back strap (none of which dug into me, because the bra was too big). This bra adds two cup sizes, but it was too big for me, so it didn't quite do the job the way I hoped. I am between a 32D and 32DD, but this DD was too big for me to get the full push-up effect. This bra was worn and washed once, and is in perfect condition. I wish I could keep this bra and whoever gets it will love it, but it was just too big!
This bra is sadly too small for me. I love the look and soft cups on them, but I get quad boobs and side boobs. The straps are thin, very flimsy and stretchy. I want to try the one size up and see if that fits me.
I chose this bra because I was in desperate need of support while on my years-long journey of discovering my best size. This bra has wonderful full coverage. It is a padded and molded variety. I prefer the padded/molded bras to help create a more North-South balanced silhouette. The straps are very soft. The fabric is smooth but a cotton-like finish, which causes some shirts to lay oddly due to friction. My ribcage measures at 29" and this bra in on the looser end of my preference spectrum. Maybe this is because the band is so stretchy? After a few wears it feels like there is A LOT of bra on my body. This has led me to realize that the cups are shifting down slightly. Latching on the tightest hook has not remedied the shifting issue. I shall experiment either with another shape of cup or explore sister sizes.
hello! I'm labraletta and this is my review for the wear everywhere lightly lined bra and will be my first. I wanna say the bra is a very pretty color, very pleasing to the eye. The fabric is cool, airy and thin in the band and the cups are nicely thin as well with foam padding and the same fabric on top as the band, and it already has a round moulded shape to it which is nice for a slim fit T-shirt.
now for the things i don't really like as far as comfort goes. Firstly when i got fitted Victoria's Secret she measure above ...my breast and over my shirt.. i was new to this but still knew that was wrong hehe. she measure a 32C/D at first and both were way too small, then a 32DD and that was the biggest they had at the moment in stock and i took it, the fit was a little better last year but i am still growing (im 17 also i'm so sorry this is a little long). but as a year passed i grew a bit more so i spill out of the top a bit and you can now see when i wear a simple T-shirt. The band is way too big, it rides up in the back and is not level to the front. the straps dig in a bit because they are taking all the support which is what the band should do? am i right? i am sorry i am new to this bra world hehe.. also the center gore pulls away from my sternum. I also have a problem with the wires cutting into the sides of my breasts. i think that is about it i will update if i can if i miss something https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 204 more words
This lacy wireless VS bra isn't as good of a fit as my others. The band is looser and it feels unsupportive in general. The cups are wider set and tall near the armpits compared to my others. Sucks because the lace is cute!
Note: Bra is wireless but Bratabase wanted me to enter wire length measurement since it is "Unknown Model." I just measured along the moulded cup edge.
This bra seemed similar to my staple Wacoal Body By Wacoal Seamless Underwire (65115) , so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately the gore is wide, making the cups too separate and wide set for me. I don't quite fill them out enough at the apex.
Bummer, because the material is super soft and comfy feeling.
I wanted to love this bra but the straps are awful for me! You can't adjust them and they're very long. I wore this one day and it rode down and drove me crazy, even though I found the band comfortably tight. Gave me a very low and minimized look. I looked into alterations and Strap Saver things but decided it wasn't worth it.
This bra is great if you fit the size range and want a bralette with a bit more support. I have other bralettes from Victoria's Secret where the size M stretches to 38" easily but has very little cup depth, so an option with cup and band sizing is great! The band on this is pretty true-to-size and supportive. But.. you have to pull it on over your head which is difficult for me.
I was hoping to find something wireless for daily wear but this isn't it. Taking it on and off is annoying, and while it is fairly supportive and wirefree I still find myself wearing my other bras instead.
As far as wearing it as a bralette goes, I find that the cup sizing makes the cups a bit too tall and wide for my tastes. The cups look HUGE and all up in my armpits when they peek out of little tank tops, so it isn't the look I'm going for when it comes to wearing bralettes.
annabellynn have you tried Bali bras? I buy their soft bras, they have hooks and eyes, unpadded but gives lovely rounded shape and are so comfy - I use them for sleeping and they were great during my 12h flights (I wore it for over 24h during my long wait at airport and then flight and way back home), cannot say how happy I'm with them. I saw also lightly padded ones - non wired of course. I'm sure Macy's still have them on sale!
I hadn't seen those - Thanks! Will add them to my list.
I tried on a wireless 32DD Chantelle in Dillards the other day and really liked it. But the band was just too big on it. I wrote the model number down, 2757, and discovered it doesn't seem to come in smaller band sizes. Super bummed. So the search continues!
I'm wearing this bra in black more than my Deco Soft Cup lately. The fit is similiar to me. The cups on both are a bit too shallow but they don't collapse as badly as some others. The materials on this bra feel more casual and everyday while the Deco is soft and smooth feeling more luxurious. I appreciate that these cups are lower coverage. My Deco also gives me problems with pinching around the underbust after a long day while this one remains comfy. I do prefer the shape and softer feeling of my Deco, but options are nice!
Pros: - Convertible straps change from regular to criss-cross - Comfortable
Cons: - Doesn't come in my size and sister-sizing to 32DD results in the bra shifting on me during the day. - Bra fits well when I first put it on, but I get spilling and quadding as the bra shifts during the day.
Verdict: I got rid of it. Fit issues aside, I wanted a nude bra and this style doesn't come in that colour. The saleslady sold me on a light pink, promising it wouldn't show under clothes. She was wrong.
I love this bra but I bought it before I figured out that I wear about a 32g. Unlike with most Victoria secret, the band does NOT run a tad bigger. It runs pretty true to size in my opinion. It is very pretty and from what I can tell if it fit me properly it would be very comfortable.
"What did you learn from this bra?" This bra was the impetus of learning. I'd gotten measured for the very first time and believed it, but it just wasn't comfortable, and it didn't seem to fit right. I dealt with it for a long time -- my measurement was five years ago from VS -- while knowing something wasn't right, so I gave up and switched to sports bras. I learned about scoop & swoop, shallow bras, and where a wire SHOULD be.
"What's good about this bra?" This was the first time I'd ever gotten the gore to tack and it was pretty exciting. There wasn't too much between my ...breasts, digging in, or too little, squishing them together.
"Does it poke, comfortable?" I thought it was normal since every bra did this to me, but the corners of the wire always poked the very edge of my breast under my armpit.
"Did it stretch out?" I didn't wear it enough to know, but time itself didn't stretch it out any.
"Pros/Cons" I feel like someone with a smaller cup size and shallower breasts would do really well with this bra. It's molded, but the cups are super comfortable. I'm not wild about the straps, but that might be poor fit. Read more 96 more words
