Disclaimer: I am a muscular girl with 'shallow boobs' I'd initially thought this bra was comfortable. But the gore does not touch my sternum. The top outer sides of the cups cut into my pectoral muscles on their way to my armpits. And I bump out of the top a bit. Boobs are slightly sore after all-day compression. I obviously needed to try a bigger cup. But then I tried 34DD and that cut into my armpits UNBEARABLY. Settled for this one because I didn't know better at the time to switch to a different cup style.
On the upside, it's held up well for over a year, it has stayed 'okay' comfortable for all that time, never pokes me, straps stay up, and I can wear it for a week at a stretch, so yay quality, at least.
An old bra of mine that I used to wear before I discovered my "true" size. Simple lined Demi cup bra, provides that traditional victoria's secret rounded shape, high quality smooth fabric. Wish it was my size! Boo!
Very shallow on the bottom. I have lots of projection on the bottom so the cups slid down on my chest. Also this bra's inner cup line started to curl out after the first week of wearing (no wash yet), but hasn't gotten worse. Otherwise this was a good bra, just not for me.
I liked this bra, but it is too small for me. I like the shape it gave my chest (except for the quadboob that developed). Straps can be converted to racerback.
Comfortable- sexy Selling it due to quickly grew out of it now I am a 38DDD so I definitely can't fit into it any more AT ALL. I loved it though https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I bought this when i was still figuring out my "right size", and 34Ds seemed to be working better than 36 C. I really am a 34dd, at times DDD/E. This was the closest I had ever gotten to proper fit, or at least I thought so when i was in the fitting room. Unfortunately, this one failed sooo hard. Its a damn shame this doesnt fit, because its very cute. When i tried it on in store, it seemed to fit, and i didnt really do much other than raise and lower my arms to see if it moved at all. once i got it home, i ...had it on for less than a day (of course i took the tags off), and it was awful!
The straps, while topped in very soft material, are thicker and "no slip" on the front half and not stretchy, they only have give on the non decorated back part. so, they tend to pinch and cut into your shoulders if adjusted tight enough, and fall off if not. the cups are soft and the padding is very plush. when i first put myself in it, i love the way i look: great cleavage, almost smooth back, hides under t-shirts. but the band has the same issue that most VS bras have: its meant for comfort, not a snug fit to support your breasts (Although this band is better than the Very Sexy line). So, as i settled in, it rode up, my boobs went out the bottom, and it pinched me in the armpits and cut into my shoulders. if i tighten the band the all the way, it rolls onto itself, makes heinous back fat, and still isnt stiff or strong enough to support. it just feel like a strip of elastic. one of the fitters at VS said i might not be suited to the Body by Victoria line of bras because of my shape, so if they're right, perhaps this just isn't meant for full on bottom, wide breasts.
All that being said, i love the look. the pink and white striped fabric its covered in it smooth and silky, there are little rhinestones on the sides and lace, a tiny lace trim on the cups and straps, siiiigh. I know im never going to wear it, so in the drawer it sits until i can find a way to sell it! It may work better for someone firmer who needs less band support and is more close set- but thats a complete guess. good luck https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 325 more words
Really pretty bra. Sheer embroidered cups. Embroidery appears more pinkish than in pics, pinkish beige. Bra is black. Wore no more than twice, and not for full days. Looks brand new. At that time, the fit was good. It was larger for a 34D cup, but not as much as a true 34DD I think. Band seems true 34.
Made in 2005. Been sitting in a drawer for a while.
This bra fits around my boobs really well. The only things that is uncomfortable is the fact that the band is too big for me, so it leaves all the weight on the straps which leaves lots of marks on my shoulders. The straps also slide off my shoulder, no matter how tight I make them. Other than the band and the straps, this is the most fitting bra I've worn to date. After plenty of washes and use, it does stretch, but since I already had it on the tightest it would go, it just weighed more and more on my shoulders. I have had the bra for a while and the under wire is poking out on the right side.
I just got this bra about a week ago so I'll have to edit this after awhile. So far so good, though. This bra is really super soft and comfortable. It fits about right in basically every way, so hey that's good.
This fits me almost perfectly when on the tightest hook, and with the straps joined in the back in the X position. I do get a little overflow with the larger breast - lots when the straps are in standard position, but I think I just ordered the wrong size. The cotton is nice and soft against the skin without getting stretched out by the end of the day, and the underwires are comfortable. The shape may not be ideal for full-on-top or wide rooted breasts, because even with the correct cup size, the edge cuts into my upper breast a tiny bit, but the cotton is pliable enough that I've found it adjusts to my shape after a little while.
Loved this bra for the first few wears. I have it in both black and nude. Fit is okay. However, the cups majorly curl outward on both of the bras that I have. I have never had this happen before! My Mom grabbed the same bra,, but not push up, and has the same issue. Pretty disappointing since it is one of my favourite bras that I now never wear.
Cute little keyholes in the cups, and convertible straps are really nice. Like all Victoria's Secret bras, this has an extremely stretchy band. This has an EXTREME amount of padding in the cups.
This is an old but comfy bra. I had it when I "measured" a "true" 34D at VS. If they sold this in my real size 32 FF, I'd buy 20 of them. I love this bra. Have some quadboobing now though https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This is my "Before Fitting" bra. I don't understand anything about the sizing on this bra at all. It's made to be worn strapless, so it has a silicone/rubber strip along the bottom edge to hold it in place. This would be very cool, if the band weren't trying to strangle me, even on the loosest setting. The back rides up, but minimally. The band is just so damn uncomfortable, I'm fidgeting constantly by the end of the day. There is next to ZERO stretch in this band.
That said, the center gore tacks well to my sternum, and it gives my breasts nice cleavage and ...a lot of lift. That is, until I start scooping and swooping. Once everything is swooped inwards, the gore can't help but sit on breast tissue, and I'm spilling all over the place. The center gore is WAY too narrow for me.
The cup width on this bra are what I try to look for in a new one though. The width is perfect for my wideset breasts, and the underwire ends right at the edge of my breast tissue.
All in all, it's a terrible bra that is WAY too small, but I have to wear it for now as my other "proper fitting" bra has gotten too large on me, and I need to purchase new ones.
