This bra is definitely too small in the cups for me, which was later confirmed when I remeasured as a 34E/F. The band is too stretchy for my liking; I don't feel like my breasts are contained. I have to readjust, re-scoop/swoop throughout the day to prevent tissue from escaping back into my armpit. This bra, as far as I know, is discontinued.
**EDIT** i know now this cup is definitely too wide. i still wear it on occasion, as it doesnt cause any major discomfort, but it doesnt technically fit, so ive updated the info to reflect that.
This is the first bra I've had that fits me in the cup and band almost perfectly, and is a size 34DD. I find it very comfortable, aside from one or two small things. Its a lined demi, so i don't get a ton of lift and no "push", but i wanted something easy to wear that i wouldn't need to adjust myself into all day. This is also the first non padded ...bra i bought for wear day to day, outside of work (its very physical, so usually a lined demi is what i use for that).
As looks go: This is a very light "nude" color, with a tiny white mesh/almost fishnet overlay that has rose scalloped lace on the bottom 3/4 of the cups and onto the band. The gore has criss-crossing strips of mesh covering it, like the way a boot laces. Attached is also a small white bow and VS charm logo. I LOVE the looks of this! Its very elegant and pretty, but also great for under t-shirts, since it matches my skin and the decorations are smooth. The downside is that the mesh snags very, very easily. it was a struggle finding one in store that didn't have a pull in it, so i had to have one shipped home, and I've already gotten them on the band and cup despite being very careful. Tiny hairs and fuzzies also get under the lace and are almost impossible to remove. this is definitely a hand wash bra!
Fit: Surprisingly, i like the shape i have in it. I feel rounded, and natural, and there is only a small amount of tissue escaping on the sides. This is partly because its a demi and the sides probably need to be higher, and partly because i am heading towards DDD, which wasn't available. The straps are pretty far set, but i dont experience slipping. They attach to the band in a slight "ballet back", which i love and tends to help keep them from slipping down. When i first wore it, i did have some strap rolling and cutting me in the armpits, but it seems to have stopped now that its been broken in. The straps adjust all the way. I have them almost fully lengthened, so for someone who needs longer straps this may not work.
The band is very stretchy but anchors better than most other VS bras ive tried. It is made of a band of the mesh lace with a thinner band of tighter elastic along the edges, which are really the only things that keep it anchored to you. For me, those tiny strips roll onto themselves after a while and cut into me, forcing a re adjust. This usually only happens if i have to tighten it past the first hook, or if i've been moving from sitting to standing a lot. I suspect the band needs to be tighter, but the material doesn't allow for that without instantly rolling. if the whole band were backed in the same stiffer elastic, this would be perfect. I am also on the small end of plus sized, so my softer back may be too much for it, and someone slimmer will probably not have this issue. The band does tighten back up nicely when washed, something most of my VS bras fail at. i get a mostly smooth back, until the rolling starts.
Overall i would recommend at least trying this bra if you aren't sized out, as its a pretty basic and very comfortable. It would probably work best for someone with a more slender back then myself.
I found this bra at Goodwill and, for a bra for which I paid $6, have been very happy with it. It's still probably my go-to nude t-shirt bra, despite being the wrong size. The fabric is soft and comfortable, though hasn't held up particularly well, and seems to have stretched out. Because the band is too big for me, the underwire doesn't sit against my ribcage underneath my breasts, which is a problem, but again, has less to do with the bra itself than with the fit. I find that the underwire pokes me under the arms, but otherwise the bra is remarkably comfortable.
I bought this beautiful bra at the Semi Annual Sale, and i finally figured out its the Very Sexy Unlined Demi, in the color Nude with Embellishments. To me, it seems much more pink. Unfortunately i assume its being discontinued, because its in the clearance sections. This is my favorite bra of all time!
First off, it''s absolutely GORGEOUS. my pictures do a crap job, but its actually this really soft pinky peach colored mesh all over, with rose lace overlaid on the cups, gore, and band that have brighter pink flowers and stripes. there is also a scattering of embellishments along the lace portion of the cups and ...onto the beginning of the strap- just a few. Its very elegant without being all "bling in your face" like Victoria's Secret tends to do. The straps have a lace trim that tapers down until it meets with an elastic adjustable strap in the back, which attaches back onto the lace and mesh band. on the bottom of the band and the tops of the cups where the lace ends, the lace is scalloped like a trim. the mesh that makes the top bit of the cup is folded over onto itself, so there isn't a seam.
The fit of this bra is so comfortable, its crazy. The parts that touch you are made of the stretchy mesh material, and it's very soft. Because there's no seam on the top edge of the cup, it sits comfortably and doesn't dig- i feel like fuller shapes would find it very accommodating. i fill the cups with no side spillage, even though being a demi means it has lower sides. there's a small sling of the mesh material on the inside of the cup, which may be what helps you stay in- I'm not sure. the gore comes up higher than any other VS bra I've owned, but i find it very comfortable. the only time it bothers me is if I'm doing some crazy moving around and have it on for hours, and i do have a very bony sternum where there's no breast tissue, so perhaps that's why. the band feels snug but breathable, and the straps don't slip on me, although the embellishments keep it from being fully adjustable, which may be a problem for some.
The only issue i have with this bra is that i don't get much help in the shape department. I definitely look better than when i dont have a bra on, since it brings my wide spread out tissue forward, but I look very natural in it, slightly pointed. My breasts are bottom heavy, and this bra doesn't lift them much. I don't have a whole lot of breast tissue, so for someone even moderately fuller than myself, this may mean not getting any support. I'm self conscious about my breast size and prefer at least a lined bra when out in public for the shaping it gives me, so i don't wear this unless I'm going to be keeping my coat on for a quick trip to the store or something. The slightly pointy and low look i get makes me feel too much like im naked! This is also my only unlined bra, so it may not be a bother for someone used to that style.
I would still recommend this bra, because it is incredibly lovely and very comfortable, even if the only purpose it has is as a bra for when you're around the house or running errands. If you like a natural shape, this is probably great for you, and the material feels awesome on the skin. This bra seems designed to look delicate and beautiful, and not so much for every day wear. disclaimer: i bought this set mainly because its ridiculously pretty, plus purple and silver are my favorite colors. i mean have you seen the high waist garter thong? siiiigh <3 i've tired the Very Sexy line in my 34DD before and not liked it, but this one is constructed a bit differently and is more successful, perhaps because its a Limited Edition run.
The cups are mainly a deep purple covered in purple and silver lace, and the top bit is a smooth silver/grey fabric, much like the other Very Sexy bras. The center of the cups, where they would usually attach to the gore, have been cut away ...slightly and attached a little further back. Instead the lace attaches there, as a sort of peak a boo. you can see in my pictures how the lace comes out farther than the cup as it gets closer to the gore. i like this look, and it doesn't seem to affect how it fits compared to other bras in the line. The have the same issue of not coming up high enough on the sides for me and combined with the cup being mostly padding, i tend to need to readjust during the day because i get a small amount of quad boob. But, its a plunge push up, and i can deal with that since this is more of an "occasion" bra. as always, the padding is very plush and the lining is smooth an nice on the skin.
The band here is where i think it differs the most from other Very Sexy bras. First, its purple mesh with an elastic border. i like that more because it seems stiffer than the really stretchy material usually used, although its definitely still got a lot of give. It doesn't support a ton, and it cuts into me slightly after a time because the border rolls into itself, which i get with the Flawless too (although the flawless is more severe). This is most likely a problem experienced by larger cup sizes and plus sized women like myself. Smoother backs may not get the rolling issue.
I do love how tall the band is! Normally, Very Sexy bands are very thin the whole way round. This has a pretty high wing for Victoria's Secret, about 4.5 inches, and that only shortens slightly around the band. But then, it gets reeeally tiny at the clasp again, so it can be that short 2 hook. In Very Sexy, these are especially small- only an inch high! the dramatic change is probably why i get such rolling, and if this had 3 hooks or even more spaced apart 2 hooks, it would probably be perfect.
The grey/silver straps have a slight ballet back, again different from the usual Very Sexy. they attach higher up because of the wider band, and like all Very Sexy bras have the split strap in front that turns into a single. I always hate them- they roll onto themselves and cut me, especially in my right size of a 34DD, where they're sooo wide! This bra design seems less so, proably because the band designed differently and is firmer so they dont take as much of the weight, but its still annoying and bothers my armpits.i would say that is my number one problem with Very Sexy bras.
Overall, this bra wins for me simply because its so pretty. Its a fun time bra more than anything, since i cant wear it under shirts with the embroidery or out for a normal day because i need to readjust. But for a special occasion or when i need some cleavage, this is a go to. Sometimes i just want something pretty and say to heck with fit! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> if you have breasts that arent so wide, you probably wont have the side boob issue like myself, and on a smaller frame who needs less band support i imagine this would look awesome. This bra fits well for a few hours, and then you need to reload and lock the girls in. The wires seem to cut into my armpits slightly, mainly after sitting for lengths of time with lots of arm movement (ie:typing or filing). All in all a very sexy piece which gives a great silhouette and after a few months, still seems to be holding shape.
This bra just isn't right, but it was close enough and it's SO pretty. Band is a bit loose, cups need to be deeper, but it looks great under clothes and is comfy for now.
Generally a pretty well fitting bra. Nice gray color with a little lace detail that isn't too fussy and the SOFTEST FABRIC EVER. Very comfortable after a long day's wear. Gives a nice rounded shape, though as it's lined it makes my boobs look larger than I might usually prefer. The bottom of the center gore lifts up a little bit but nothing major. The straps are set a bit wide in the front for my narrow shoulders, though they are convertible. By the end of the day, I'm not totally filling up the top of this bra unless I'm constantly moving my boobs back into place. I also fear that with some wear I will have the problem I generally have with lined bras where the cup edge sticks out at the bottom by the gore.
This was one of my main bras before I found out my real size. The band is really stretch out from extensive wear. This is one of the best bras VS sells and was the only one that "fit" me. The cups are only about 2-3 sizes off and the shape is great, but the real problem is that the band is WAY to big for me and provides almost no support compared to what I get out of 30H bras.
This bra is from before my changed bra size. It is too small in the cups and too large in the band. The quality is not great as evidenced by me having the stitch the gore back onto the cup. The bra is strictly designed to be sexy.
I can only wear it for a few hours before needing to put on a different bra because I feel like I'm suffocating. The cups fall down a lot even though the band stays put. The cups come-up very high and wrinkle to fit under my arms. The cups are too small, so I have quad boob, and the wires in the front are squishing my breast tissue. It provides no support, but is better than not wearing any bra at all. It is pretty sturdy. Higher quality contruction than most Victoria's secret bras.
The band is comfortable. The cups are much too small, causing the front underwires to press againt my bone uncomfortably. This bra naturally sits low, so it makes me a bit self-concious and I end-up fidgeting with pulling it higher than it should sit.
It is a cute bra. I love the softness of a cotton bra, and if it fit me, I would wear this bra to the gym and for sleeping in. It seems to be a better quality than most others by this brand. I like that it has a hook in the back to connect the straps into a racer-back; however, the hook catches in my hair constantly, and that hurts. The cut is very slanted across the cup top, so not only do I spill out the top but also the front. The band is too large and the cups are much, much too small as with everything else by this brand.
Average quality for this brand. It only took a few months before it started to fall apart (seams freying, underwire poking out). Surprisinly, the lace is still in good condition. I love that there is not a gore between the cups trying to shove my boobs apart, making it much more comfortable for me than most bras. The band is far to large and the cups are drastically to small, as with all bras of this brand for me.
The gore was too wide, so I had to take it in about an inch and a half (4cm), basically as tight as I could sew it. The underwires are comfortable and don't poke. The straps fall down whether they are tight or loose. The bra is now all stretched out.
It digs a little into my underarms. Not the underwire, but the rim of the outer cup. It's a little irritating considering the lace being right there and all. Otherwise it's really soft, comfy, and feminine. It makes me feel cute!
I bought this bra knowing it wasn't the right size (for my now wrong size) because it was really pretty. So it's got that going for it. The bra straps are limited in the fact that I can't make them shorter and they constantly fall down. My breasts fit in the cups at first, but after 10 minutes I start quadboobing. Pretty but not functional for my size.
I liked this bra because the fabric is soft, but it is old, stretched out, and way too small in the cups. The bands look like wings, they are so stretched out. Surprisingly, though, the wire is a good length and there is no gap in the sides, and because the gore is low, the distance isn't much of a problem for my close-together breasts
