This 36c is obviously a few sizes off for me now (at a 34dd), and even when i originally bought it, it wasnt my "true" size. However, for a time, 36c was what i thought i worse, and i owned 3 or 4 of this exact style. This particular blue bra has sat new and unworn, from grabbing it on sale right before i had my "bravelation."
The material itself is smooth and silky and very comfortable, and i love the midnight navy color. the band is very, VERY stretchy, which is probably comfortable for smaller cups, but for me meant it didn't support enough (even in my real ... size) and after one wear is completely a different size. even a wash in icy water didn't help it spring back. if you pull the band tight, it tends to roll onto itself, and still not support. this may only be an issue for fuller but or plus sized ladies like myself; slender bodies may not have an issue with the thickness of the band.
in the correct size it does give me nice rounded, pushed together cleavage, but so much of my tissue escaped from the sides, and as i could never get the band firm enough, i was constantly sliding down under the cups and having to scoop back in. also, the split strap would always roll over itself, resulting in a thin, very digging strap. Again, this is probably also due to how, before i knew how to wear a bra properly, i had to tighten the straps to try and get support.
i would reccomend this for a smaller bust, or someone who likes a looser band. on a true 36 C this may be a much better success!

This bra is too small, I would say. The wires on the sides look a bit narrow. That you say they leave room at the sides confuses me. Maybe an orange-in-a-glass?
