**Update: I've gained weight so this bra no longer fits me.***
This bra fits me great everywhere except the band, which is unusual for me. I can get it on but I have to yank on it. Once it's on it feels okay, but I'm usually glad to get it off at the end of the day. I tried the 34D on in the store but while the band fit, the proportions of the rest of the bra were way off. The cups were too wide and the straps didn't sit in the right place on my shoulders.
Despite the band issues (which I plan to get an extender for), ...this is an excellent bra if you want good support. I get a great round shape, no show-through, and I don't have to adjust my boobs at all during the day. This is great for being able to do what I have to do without worrying that I'm jiggling or falling out.
If you're looking for a pretty bra, keep looking. While it's not super-ugly, it definitely covers everything (so no low-cut tops) and is made to be practical not decorative.
Nice pretty and comfy bra, just not a good fit. need a tighter band and a cup or two bigger. The gore is a bit too wide and get major quadding on both sides after scoop and swoop. don't know why the measurements say the stretched band is so tight, it is like a normal 32. I can re measure if anyone needs.
Debating keeping this bra. It almost fits, gore tacks, band is good, but there are itchy spots where the straps meet the band, but I could fix that. My problem is that i think the cups are too wide. I get a bit of quad boobing yet there is a bit of space in the outer top corners of the cups. Also, it looks a bit flat and wide under my shirt today. It is a very pretty color and nice bra, but I may try another size. I somehow added my pics to the wrong bra, they are with the Cleo plunge if you want to see them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The wide set cups separate my fairly close together boobs and prevent bubbling out the front of the cups, which I really like. However the wires are long and dig into my underarm a little.
I love this bra. It is comfortable and supportive and the lace adds an elegant touch. The cups are thin and slightly stretchy which allows for a natural shape and no gapping, which is a problem I usually have. The material is a tad bit thin which doesn't bother me, but may bother someone who prefers more modesty.
I bought this together with the Retro Chic. That one is definitely the winner out of the two--though the band fit nicely on the other one, on this I do wish it was made in a 30. It rides up slightly, not terribly but it's definitely not giving me as much support. I do also wish it had more side coverage and a side support bone like the Retro Chic does. I find it to be even more pointy and the shape of it and the seams show thru clothes even more. The lace is absolutely gorgeous though. But hey wacoal--what's with this light, light latte color being called "naturally nude?" Sounds problematic to me...
I have nothing but postitive things to say about this bra. Well, i guess one thing to mention is that it does have a bit of a pointy look that can be noticable under clothing, so maybe if you're conscious of that this isn't the bra for you.
This is my go-to work bra. The coverage is wonderful and it has deep, roomy cups. I feel held in and "locked and loaded"--I'm not worrying about needing adjust my bust at all. It gives great projection and uplift. It stays comfortable throughout my day. The wires don't stab or poke anywhere and the sides are high enough to hold ...everything in without being uncomfortable under my arms.
I would really recommend this to anyone looking to realign migrated breast tissue, or anyone looking for modest coverage, or just a good, sturdy, reliable bra.
By the way, the band is a bit tight, I'm usually a 30 and this works for me. It stretches to 31. If you're closer to a 32 ribcage you may want to have an extender on hand. Read more 73 more words
A very pretty and comfortable bra with lace cups and mesh wings. The bra is well made and does not show under white/light tops if the color is similar to your skin tone. Original price was $62.00, but got it on sale at Burlington Coat Factory for $14.98.
Unlined, stretch lace bra. Medium support, medium width straps, fully adjustable straps. very pretty, comfortable, delicate, and breathable.
It does leave a slightly pointed shape under t-shirts, and with thin ones you can see the lace and/or outline of the seams.
I haven't had it for long, but it seems like it would wear out easily. I don't put it into my rotation as often as other bras.
This bra would be perfect if it came in a 30 band size, and I went up a cup size. It fits well enough to be comfortable, with minimal riding up in the back. My main problem with most 32 bands is that they aren't tight enough to hold the underwires right under my breasts for maximum support. The center gore almost touches my sternum, but not quite.
It's very comfortable, and I like the lace, but there's definitely more coverage going on here than I like. It feels a bit like a semi-stylish mom bra.
I am in love with this sports bra. The band runs very small so size up to a sister size. Other Wacoal styles fit me in a 30 band but I had to buy a 32 in this style. Please note that this review is for a NUDE bra! The BLACK version of this bra runs even smaller/tighter. I was told by an associate at my local bra store it has to do with the dye. So don't go out and buy this bra in a million colors in the same size if the NUDE fits you great, you might end up regretting it. I also am still ...nursing my one year old part time and I am so happy to finally own a normal bra! My band size has been stable for a few months and i'm past the nursing bra stage so this has been a great transition bra for me while i try to find a new everyday bra that fits my new post baby boobies. See my note below.
PROS: Absolutely seamless under clothes, nude color is invisible under white shirts - uncommon color for a sports bra but soo convenient, natural rounded shape - doesnt look like your breasts are strapped in, separates breasts completely - no touching or chaffing and no uniboob, lifts without padding, weightless feel, not bulky like other structured sports bras, soft fabric accommodates my uneven breasts/size fluctuations, wear all day, great for sleep, feels like a normal bra, moderate support - movement when running but not uncomfortable, **GREAT FOR NURSING MOTHERS!! Total support without any squashing/flexible fabric/straps slip down easily/no clogged ducts while wearing 24/7**
CONS: Band has stretched a lot since purchase (started on last hook, now using middle hook, but may need to use tightest hook soon), nipples show through when cold, high rise in front visible in lower cut shirts/v-necks, unconventional design bothered me at first but now I love the look - wire is visible on the outside of the bra. This is a replacement for Wacoal Halo Lace 65149. I never had the former model so not entirely sure of difference other than that this one has clips to allow for wearing it as a racer back.
The cups are unlined, stretchy, and soft, so would be great for asymmetry or hard to fit breasts; the cups conform to you rather than other way around. I had breast reconstruction 9 weeks ago and it is perfect as I heal through that as my breasts are still changing. The lace is flat, so is quite seamless under clothing. The band feels nice and snug. This will be a great ...daily/comfort wear bra for me (I bought it in both Cappucino and Toast) though as it is rather full coverage it won't work under certain necklines. It's not sexy, but I think it is is a little more attractive than a lot of seamless bras.
It would be a great bra in hotter climates too as it so light and unpadded.
Oh and as I said, you can convert it to racer back. Read more 73 more words
I ordered this bra along with one in a 32D after hearing it was great for women with reconstructed breasts with implants. Unlike the 32D this one fit around my breasts but the wires were way too wide and ended up resting halfway under my armpit. I don't have breast tissue there anymore, so it just felt like I had hard, flat wires against sensitive ribs. I already knew I was not keeping it, so did not try bending the wires to see if that would make a difference. I also found the wires came up so high under my arms and dug into my armpit, which meant ...I could not put the wire right under my IMF and it left empty space at bottom of cup. Maybe my torso is too short for this bra. It almost made the bra feel too big, but it was the correct size to encapsulate my breasts. The centre gore came up high, but did not dig on me.
The wires are themselves very strong, but they are also flat and not incredibly flexible which might not be comfortable for those with bonier ribcages, even though it does have padding on it.
This is definitely a sturdy, well made bra. The fabric is high quality with nice stretch. It would have a minimizing effect on natural breast tissue due to its construction. It would would show under a lot of necklines, but would be perfectly smooth under higher necked sweaters and the like. It is not what I would call an attractive bra, but it's not horrendous either! The fabric manages to make even the nude colour stay somewhat pretty.
The band felt nice and snug for a 32. There is a nice /\ in centre bottom centre of band so that when you bend over the band does not dig into your ribs.
I know a lot of women with breast reconstructions just love this bra, but for me it just did not work out. It felt like a lot of bra to me though and looked and felt overwhelming on my petite frame. It is full coverage or full-figured rather than "full-busted". Read more 250 more words
Unfortunately, this bra is completely the wrong size for me, and doesn't come in the right band/cup combinations for me. It's perfect for summer, though; convertible straps so you can wear racerback tops and front closure so you can be lazy and not deal with having to wiggle into a bra with criss-crossed straps. The fabric is very nice and my guess would be soft and comfortable, as is standard with Wacoal bras. Seems like it would be a great bra with the right fit!
I was excited about this bra because of the spacer material. Unfortunately I haven't found a Wacoal bra that fits me right. The center gore is uncomfortable and the band is too big at 32. The cups also cut in at the top. Not enough to say quad-boob but the cut isn't right for me.
The cups are too big for me so the top gaps, although it doesn't quite wrinkle. The band feels more comfortable than a size 30 in Wacoal for me, although I can fit more than 2 fingers in the band in the 32 on the last hook. Also, the cups are moulded but feel thinner than I like.
This was my favorite bra for probably a year. It's not holding up super well at this point, but I think that has to do more with how frequently it's been worn rather than quality. It still fits surprisingly well, given that that it is a 32DD and my size seems to be a 30F, with 32DDD's being the next best, readily-available thing. I only spill over the top when my breasts are in the fullest stage of my cycle. The bra is pretty and quite comfortable. It's a great t-shirt bra, but is nice enough that I wore it with almost everything.
This appears to fit well on first glance, however the more I wore it the more uncomfortable it became underbust, along sides, and the top of the gore. It was also too tight compared to other 32 bands.
This one fits well. The wires come up far enough on the sides to contain all of my breast tissue. The right side is a little gapped, but my left is firm & contained. The band is too long, so next time I'll try a 30E.
