I think I may get the bralette. I don't expect to be comfortable wearing it out of the house, but I'm sure it's going to be a better option than anything else out there for someone with large, heavy boobs. I would love it for just lounging around the house.

A small number of their bras, but includes their usual balconnette and also a lace unlined bra, (although no wireless bras), have had a size expansion. Now you can go to a store in the US and conceivably buy bras in sizes

Hi all.
Does anyone know if Comexim's padded bras follow the same three patterns (plunge, deep plunge, half-cup) with changes only in fabric, or do the models actually have distinct construction designs? There are differences among my several plunges of the same size, but they're subtle enough to just be variations from being hand made, so that's what I've always assumed. Though I know Comexim Ginger Plunge Bra (365) has lower cups.

I would assume so, but I know there are variations with being handmade. I did find my Ingrid to run like a half cup smaller though. Could have been just mine but it was noticeably smaller. I know a lot of users have mentioned the basic runs shallow & tight in the band.
Some halfcups are more immediately projected than others. When I was trying to find a Comexim that fit, I made a list.

That looks like I'd need help to put it on and take it off!
It looks like it might have the little jewelry lobster claws at the end of the straps in the back like some of the other strappy Ewa's do - not that it would be all that much easier to hook them on after you put the bra on.
I gotta be honest, I love that Ewa brought the strappy look to such an amazingly wide size range, and I've got 2 or 3 of these styles from her now but.. I don't really like this. Maybe I'm just tired of the style in general.

lol! Looks like its a french-based word - what do the french say?
asked french-canadian husband. It is a french word. I cant remember how he pronounced it. Apparently the base word means clothing or a piece of cloth.

Haven't heard of this brand before. USA J cup, though, so UK GG. :(
triumphof nonwired designs, especially contemporary ones that have more softly rounded cups (as opp. to mid-20th century pointed) allow most full-bust wearers to size down dramatically in the cup. The person who posted the review with photos looked like she'd be more in the K+ range in a well-fitted wired bra.

WOOOOOOO!!! New Nubian Skin Bras!!!!
I am (of course, lol) subscribed to Nubian Skin and received an e-mail yesterday informing me that they listened to the customers and re-designed and re-graded their t-shirt bras. In the e-mail it said the Fuller Bust bras start at DD, but this is not true. They start at an E cup.
The Fuller Bust t-shirt ... bra is a three section bra with side support. They're regular t-shirt bra is still just a seamless molded cup bra. Sad day for me. I was like "YES! Starts at 30DD!" Then was saddened when I got on the website and found that they in fact did not.
They still look like they're fairly shallow bras, but look SO nice. I think the seamless bra should be available in all the same sizes as the full bust one. Because, ya know, what if they want a seamless bra?
It's so nice to see a brand upgrading and redesigning their bras per the customer base recommendations! Exciting all around.

ETA. I wonder why the Ellicelydia swimsuit sizes are so poor, they only ask for your "pant size" and "cup size". What is a cup size without a band size??
SO COOL! I thought KH was queen of small bands as well! Hopefully they'll work they're way to into real bras and not only bralettes. I look forward to trying impishlee if i ever have some extra money. Seems like Ellice Lydia follows the "Plus 2/3" method for band size on their size chart while most of the other ones on the Just Curvy Things blog post follow the "Plus 4-5" for their band sizes on the chart. It's sad because they're offering the wider array of sizes, but not offering an accurate starting size which will mean they will eventually stop offering them because no one will buy them. And curvy Kate is completely phasing out their size 28 bands, btw.:-(

It's not popular because most women wear a band size too large, this they should wear a 28 but don't know any better.
My step mom is about 5'1 and wears a size 0 or 2 pants. She probably should wear a 28 band size but puts herself in like a 36D or 34DD. I don't have the type of relationship with her to suggest different sizing for her.
As a nurse I've helped my fair share of women put their bras on or hook their bra, and I'll tell you I've seen some horribly fitting bras...
