• I finally talked to hubby about the bras I want, and he pointed out that v-day is coming - yes, but the prettiest bra I want is from Poland and could not get here in time!

• The "How to Measure Your Bra Size" article she is linking to uses the +4/+5 method.
  When I'm wearing a bra sized according to this method, it won't fit me because the band is too big and the cups are too small.
  Maybe she should learn a better method before ditching brafitting altogether.

• Also, from http://www.realsimple.com/beauty-fashion/clothing/shopping-guide/how-to-measure-bra-size: "If you need to go down a cup size for fit, go up one band size, and vice versa. For example, if a 34C is too big for you, move to a 36B."
  This would give me the same cup volume on a bigger band. This won't fix a too big cup size, but make everything worse and give you a bra that fits badly in every (!) single (!) way (!) possible (!).

Wow.. very bad job Brastop

Today a friend sent me the link to this Brastop blog post with 11 boob facts.

I'm surprised someone let this nonsense go out. Specially for a full bust bra store?!

I'm not happy that they define 8 types of nipples.. there's infinite number of nipples in my book...

And the worse offender of all, have they not ever grabbed a boob? Specially ... a D cup... on any band... 3-4Kg?? really... I 'm sure many teenage boys that would know better than that! Not that boobs cannot weight that.. but whoever copy pasted this from somewhere else, really has absolutely 0 clue.

I don't know if any of you are aware, but the site I have in the link is AMAZING! It has a lot of bras in stock that I couldn't find on amazon. I thought I'd share with you wonderful ladies! : ) There are a lot of Cleos (I snagged a Lily in an old color way in a ... 30F!), a few Masquerade bras, Panache, Sculptress, Fantasie, and Freya. If you're in the UK or in Europe, the shipping time would be fast (or so I hope). Anyway, I hope this helps you wonderful people out, since this site has a lot of reduced-price and popular bras in sizes that I commonly found sold-out through other vendors. I hope this is helpful in any way!

• I'm going to have to agree with the comments to the blog from @wendybien. There's also a realm of confusion with anything she says because people are relying on google translate to be able to read her comments, and google translate is not infallible.

  That said, I like her bras but do not care for her much as a person.

• How funny - I live less than an hour from there. I dont really think its something I want to do right now, though. Plus, do they really carry 32Js?

• dbmamaz they actually do carry 32J bras. Just by browsing their website I saw 2 Curvy Kate styles and 1 Panache style in 32J.

• Because Elle Macpherson's contract was up and Heidi Klum was willing to sign on? Honestly it's not like these celebrities design the lines themselves. I agree it's a dumb move, but lots of lingerie biz stuff makes no sense!

• Oh, its not just lingerie though - people are that unreasonable about EVERYTHING!

  But i agree also with every single point in there. We have unusual sizes, and basic economics says that it costs more to make products that have lower demand. Specialty products will cost more - not because they are 'gouging' us, but because it really costs that much more.

  I honestly wonder how EM can be as cheap as they are - I wonder what her 'elves' are paid .. .

  and I do hope to buy 2 full-priced bras for my birthday lol!

Heidi Klum debuts new lingerie line at figleaves: sizes 30-38, D-G

Super cute bras, I wish that they would be 30-38, C-GG though. It's nice that bra companies are more into including 30 bands these days but smaller and larger cup sizes need to be included too. They are selling like hotcakes at the figleaves website. Some of my favorite styles are already sold out in certain sizes, others are low in stock.

• Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that her line is pretty much EXACTLY the same as the old Elle Macpherson Intimates collection? Heidi's Amelie = Elle's Artistry, Heidi's Sofia = Elle's Dentelle, Heidi's Valerie = Elle's For you, etc. The styles look exactly the same just in different colors. I know that it's the same company, but I guess you'd think that they'd make a bit more of an effort to distinguish between the collections and make it less obvious how little the current celebrity endorser actually has to do with it. Just saying.

  Also, a comment on the above style name differences: don't remember if it was on here or on r/abtf but I remember reading somebody's comments on how companies almost always use women's names for bras, which I'd never thought about but is totally true. This is just to say that I kinda prefer the old Elle names as they seemed a bit more creative. But who knows, maybe it's just because the new ones look SO damn similar and therefore already appear to lack originality.

• betty2 that's exactly what it is. The Bendon group "renewed contract" this time with Heidi Klum and ended the Elle Macpherson Intimates contract with Elle. Swap of name, and I imagine they'll have a gradual migration.
