I decided to bite the bullet and create my own bra blog. I am in the process of getting it set up, as I've never had a blog before. I went with the title "The Lingerie Architect" since I'm an architectural engineering student. While I don't have any bra-related posts yet, I hope to get one up soon (even though I've ridiculously busy with school). Any tips or suggestions would be really helpful!!

Good luck on the blog!
For all the Australia girls out there, Big W have released a range of larger cup sizes!
Their house brand All Sorts now have (as far as I can see) 10-14 DD-F in convertible plunge, balconette and push up plunge shapes. The prints are all rather bright and probably not something I'd normally choose in lingerie. However, the bras are $7 ... and matching knickers (in a variety of styles) are $3.
I'm 'usually' a 30FF/G and I bought the plunge bra in a 10F. The band is a little big, and the cups a little small, but the cleavage is great!
They also stock a range of Kayser ($19 and up to an F cup) and Bonds ($30 and up to a G cup) bras at more larger stores.
Finally some affordable options for us bustier folk!

Thats great news.. but such a limited size range still really. :(. Its frustrating when they advertise (& I am not just talking Big W)- 'larger cup' sizes but still so limited.
I just discovered these recently too. Although they don't technically cover my size, I have managed to get some that were just as good or better in the fit department than 99% of other (much more expensive) bras I've bought or tried on.
Curvy Kate is back on Zulily! Looks like a wide selection with some of the show girl line as well this time.

I was watching the Big Bang Theory with my boyfriend, and the christmas episode came on, wherein each of the characters have little fantasy cut-scenes about what life would be like if they didn't exist. We got to Amy's (the one where Penny catches Sheldon in the laundry room), and when Penny stripped her shirt off and demanded that he take her to Pleasure Town, I went "OH MY GOD I HAVE THAT BRA EEEEE".
Boyfriend looked at me like I was crazy. He just did not understand.
Thank you Santa. I do not own this. All rights property of Warner Bros.

Clara Black/Gold is really nice!
I'm also liking a lot of the porcelain stuff, but that works god awful on me (and it seems like most people too).
I love seeing the previews :D

Does anybody know when Cleo Swimwear's SS14 range will be available?
I'm interested in the Lucille Balconnet Bikini.
Thank you

Hey I am still working on the data and reviews but I just got 4 Ewa Michalak bras and I'm willing to sell them instead of return them. Also willing to swap for equal value but I doubt anyone is my size (need a depth of like 15.5 in or more)
I'm on my phone so no proper links but ... I've got:
70KK SM Margot
70KK S Szykus
75KK S Pieprzyk
75K KM Onyx which is a nursing version of the Pl Onyx which just means it has clasps.
In Kris Line I have the Brilliant which I love the best but gives my stubborn right boob too much quad boob to keep. It cost $92.
Edit- I'm either keeping this or selling to ereshiy but I can direct you where to order this.
Anyway the Ewa Michalaks will be returned by Friday. I won't list them unless someone is interested.

I can't believe that I *just* placed an order this morning for some EMs. That Kris Line interests me based on the measurements, but I just forked out nearly $250 on bras so I'm not really in a position to spend at the moment. :(
Aww man, yeah I know how you feel. If no one else wants the Kris Line, I can at least keep it for you if you think you might want to try it within the next month. It's a really awesome bra with unusual measurements and I wish my right boob were just a little smaller.

50% off [of last season's styles I think].
They're particularly good at small bust offerings (they include 28A and 28AA in their sizes I think), but they also offer medium bust stuff.

Up to GG-cups in the baxi bras. For some reason Mimi Holliday does seem to no longer make AA-cups and no longer even A cups in a 28-band though. :(
Mimi Holiday does maternity and nursing bras (not on sale, unfortunately)?! Now there's something I might be interested in! Of course only starting at 32 bands -- what's with that?! *Le Sigh* They're cute though: Bon Bon Noir, for example, looks absolutely yummy ;)
And not to say anything bad about this company, but what's with this girl's thighs?! http://www.damaris.co.uk/silk-crepe-shorties-mimi-holliday-lingerie-sleepwear-nightwear-black-polka-dot-lace-silk-shorties-knickerbocker-glory-ss14-24 (see the back view) Not that this lady needs any additional 'trimming' in any way, but please, if you absolutely have to use photoshop, use it properly *rolls eyes*

Has anyone tried the brand Lulu Tout which just appeared on Figleaves? (And maybe other vendors, I don't know.) There are some absolutely gorgeous bras in DD-H, and they seem to focus on the 30-34 band market.
But I'm cautious to order one on a whim... All their promotional images feature mainline sized models/bras and I've not heard anything about them on large bust blogs. So who knows what their sizing is like, if they even work at the top end of their cupsize range, or what kind of shape they are designed for...

Just an fyi regarding The Big Bra Bar:
The Big Bra Bar was re-branded in 2012 as Made In Preston, and the business model altered slightly whereby all products are now made by us in our Preston factory. We no longer sell any other brands.
If you are looking for 26" backed bras, we do offer this ourselves (proper range to launch 1st March) but we no longer sell Ewa Michalak.
Thanks,
Nikki MIP

Yeah, I noticed that the Big Bra Bar rebranded when the return package I had specifically asked if I could send back was returned to me, leaving me stuck with stuff that didn't fit and out the postage costs as well. Never got an answer to my emails, either.
Aaa that is just terrible! I would be so frustrated in your shoes. I'm not surprised, it's just one more reason not to shop with them.
I'm having issues downloading the brochure on Curvy Kate's website. Is everyone else also having issues?
It's finally loading. The Firecracker looks awfully like the Cleo Melissa, which bothers me a bit (not only because I disliked the design of the Melissa) because it's unoriginal and shows that the large bust industry is not progressing in its designs (they're not creative or really attractive often). The new colorway of the Roxie is really pretty and they're bringing back the Tease Me for fans of that (who may have missed the old colorways, Overall an unremarkable season.

I had a look in the brochure a few days ago and I also noticed how similar Firecracker is to Cleo Melissa. I was disappointed to say the least because the similarities are striking. Surely they must've had Melissa in mind?
I love the look of Roxie!
I really want to know what the blogger behind Up Front and In Brief has to say about this season. If I had things my way, I would design my own line of bras, but I have neither the funding nor skills for that kind of endeavor (plus my passion lies in Microbiology).

Hey ladies, I just found a custom made bra site, "customBra".
Their measurements include EACH breast! (Great for the gals with different sized girls.)
Has anyone heard of this company or ever had a bra custom made?

The back band on some of their models is riding up, and the cups look too small...so honestly I'm not too hopeful.
@Leedlebra I don't really see the too small cup. The band is definitely too big for custom (though I wouldn't say so if it were a made to wear bra becauseif it's custom you're not restricted to increments of 2 inches for the band so in theory the band should be on its loosest hooks). My main issue is that it is expensive. There is a lot of variety in bras, and some companies do custom make sizes and styles (EM does custom sizes and Comexim does custom styles and some custom sizes just to name a few). While there isn't necessarily a bra out there for anyone yet, this does not seem to be the solution as far as a price point and quality goes.

What do you use to wash your bras? I recently learned that detergent is not good for the elastic. I've been hand washing them with tide. I'd like to buy something recommended before I just buy anything. Thanks!

Forever New is one people recommend! I stick with my castile soap (Dr Bronners), which also doesn't have detergents. I have also heard baby shampoo is a reasonable, gentle alternative.
I use Ovacion, a liquid form of Forever New. I'll also use powdered Forever New when convenient. Baby shampoo has detergents so I wouldn't use it.

I saw this on FullerFigureFullerBust and Tutti Rouge's fb pages and ...*drool*.
I've been in love with light green bras for a long time and want to buy almost no other color of bra, even when I know other colors are more practical.Really hoping this will not be a total flop for my shape.Got it on my spring and summer wishlist and hopefully by then there will be loads of reviews.

I really want it too! I'm probably waiting for summer too though. It's so pretty ! (trying to lose weight and trying to NOT buy anymore bras till I've lost weight.)
I was eyeing this one too. If you're worried about practicality in general, I'd recommend demi camis in a beige colour to wear overtop (source: http://www.shopsecondbase.com/demi/).

Does anyone have any experience in sizing for Kris Line? I've always loved their styles, but never had the opportunity to try one on. I'd assume they use Europe sizing, but then I see they have double letter sizes listed too. According to the Zulily size chart, I'd need an I cup (UK FF -> US H -> EU I) and that seems a little extreme to me. Since they don't allow returns, I'm hesitant to order anything.
Kris Line uses 2cm cup increments instead of the 1" that most brands use. The cups are deep and narrow, as is standard per Polish brands, and I know at least in larger cup sizes, the wire channels are sewn to overlap at the gore (which is excellent for those of us with very close-set breasts).
I had a bra in 65JJ when I was wearing about a 28HH in most UK brands (I wore a lot of Freya and Cleo back then), but the fact that the cups were deeper and narrower helped with this. I could also point you to this blog post http://brasandbodyimage.com/2013/07/16/a-taste-of-kris-line/, where some of the bras are reviewed, but again in the very large cup sizes, so I'm not sure if that will be helpful or not. :)

I didn't think about ordering anything from Wellfitting, because they're US-based and I'm not.
Tried the size chart with hilarious results: It puts me in 70H.
'Scuse me while I almost die with laughter in my Comexim Juliette (237) in 65L, the best-fitting bra that I own!
But they do carry the Comexim Green Velvet (181) and the ... href="/browse/comexim/geisha/" class="mentioned-item">Comexim Geisha (202).
Both bras on which I've been hoping to get my hands on, but Comexim doesn't stock them in my size.
However, Wellfitting does. How is that even possible?
UPDATE: I just saw that orders will be dispatched from Poland... then why exactly does Wellfitting ask for almost twice the price I'd have to pay if I just ordered from the Comexim site? Where is all that money going?

I was wondering the same thing. I guess there is convenience in ordering from the US because you don't have to worry about translating from English and bras can be returned to a US address. Otherwise it's much cheaper ordering directly as long as you know your size.
Yeah, Wellfitting basically just order for you. Perhaps Comexim set aside a certain amount of stock/material for them, so they can still have bras which aren't available directly?
I'm not sure how much they order the bras for (obviously slightly cheaper than retail), but clearly they'll be charging slightly more than ordering directly, since they have to cover both their running costs and make a profit. As to why anyone would bother, if you're in the US, ordering from them means no hidden costs (customs and import fees are the worst), you pay less to return the bra (since it's within the US), and no language barriers or confusion. So it makes sense, depending on how much you order. That is, assuming I've interpreted it right and they cover the import and customs from what they charge you.

Just checked my email and there's a coupon for free shipping from Wellfitting.com.
code is: perfectdcup (valid until end of Jan 19th)
I haven't tried @Comexim but am thinking about ordering one bra to test out the size before placing a bigger, custom order directly from Comexim.
No more problems with a bra too small to fit and lift the bigger girls ;) Get a spectacular cleavage in our bras made up to N cup!

how accurate is wellfittings size calculator? is suggested a 70G for me when I normally wear a uk 28G, I'm not familiar with the way comexium's sizes work but that doesn't seem right to me.
Their calculator gave me 85C! Holy cow. I'm like 75G or GG, at least in Fantasie. 70G or H in Freya. C? Really?

Btw, it may be worth mentioning for those not familiar with it, that Harlequin is the old name for now Masquerade bras.
