I want to order the Comexim basic in Black. I've heard it runs small in the band and cup. It seems as though my size in Comexim is a 75F (I have the Arizona in a 75F and it fits perfectly). Should I go up a size in the cup and band for the Basic bra? How stretchy is it? I wear my 75F Arizona on the loosest hook and it's pretty snug (but comfortable).

I have a Comexim Basic. I wasn't sure of my size in that model either,for all the same reasons you name. So I went through Wellfitting.com, who have a generous return policy and since they are US-based I wasn't going to have to pay return shipping to Poland! They were super helpful in helping me decide what two sizes I wanted to try. I am a projected, even & narrow 32F; my other Comexims are 70F. In the Basic I tried a 70FF and a 75F; that would be +1 cup/same band and +1 cup/+1 band. The 70FF was ridiculously small in the cup and too tight to even fasten; the wires distorted from the pull. The 75F fits OK, a little snug up top and a little too shallow at the bottom, but I wouldn't want to go up another cup because I'm pretty sure there would be gaping at the center by the gore. The band is comfortably tight on the last hook (if I want a slightly more relaxed fit to wear it all day & night I often use an extender) and not very stretchy at all. I also considered getting reduced cups because I had read about that here. Wellfitting said try these first, if you don't like just return them and custom-order reduced cup which is NOT returnable, and that seemed like good advice! The cups are not too tall but the wings are a smidge too high into my pits. They don't irritate or rub, but I know it's there. Which is a small price to pay for such a terrific shape and coverage in a well-made everyday bra! Also, the return of the 70FF was seamless and quick. So yes, order up a band and a cup!
Thank you soooo much for that!!!! I think I will try going up one cup and one band size then - so I guess a 80F (on Wellfitting is that a 36DDD?). I'm definitely going to go through Wellfitting for the Basic too. I actually emailed them on Thursday but haven't heard from them yet. Do you know how quick they usually are with responding to emails? Also, have you found that you needed to size up with any other Comexim styles? I was thinking of eventually trying the Irish Coffee and Ingrid directly from their site.

So I recently posted an adventure where I was charged custom fees for my package only to have none of the bras fit. I did a quick google search and apparently you can request a refund on those charges if you return the items. I never knew you could do that! I'm going to try it and hopefully get some of my money back.

Good job on getting those customs charges refunded! I am appalled by Canada's protectionist customs charges. I don't know why the Canadian people don't rise up and explain to their government that it's a global economy now. Someone ought to show those bureaucrats the Internet.
So, alas, I tried wearing the Joy a second time and just couldn't do it. The straps hurt my shoulder muscles because I need them so tight. It's so gorgeous and the fabric is so nice and silky, but I don't feel right just leaving it in a corner and never wearing it.
I definitely want to try both Joys in ... 65G in the Pl version. I had no idea you could ask for that, but now that I know, I can't stop wishing I had one. I don't know if it's size or cup width, or just the HC design, but it doesn't give me the nice, forward, pushed up look of the plunges I have.
I guess I'm becoming obsessed with the Pl design. It's all I want to wear lately. I don't like how the Joys make my boobs look like they're in a VS bra. I like that look once in a while, but not enough to have more bras like that. Makes me so sad because they're so beautiful.
I think I'll either attempt the longline in Pl or just 65G, and keep the HC for now but order a 65G Pl later on.
It's ridiculous, but I just feel so sad considering letting it go
I think I'll give it one more shot, but if I can't wear it again, it's got to be listed. At least I know for the future, it's better to have a slightly small Comexim than a slightly big one in my case apparently.

I ordered the Joy HC (not the longline version), and it came in a PL style. I was only slightly disappointed that I didn't receive the HC, because the PL is so gorgeous! the fit is amazing and it is so comfy! I will order another HC from Comexim, because I want to try at least one. My CHP from EM was amazing and give a great shape, so I would love it if I could get the shape in a more affordable Comexim. And personally, I like doing business with Comexim. Anna is a dream to work with :)

I do wonder if a smaller cup would give me the Ch/p look. My Ewa Ch is one of my favorites, and I agree, Comexim really is so much more affordable so that would be great if you can get the same or similar look from them :)

I was so disappointed in Dillard's today. They're having their semi-annual bra clearance sell (yay! cheap bras if you fit into their size range), so I stopped by to see if I could fit into anything in a larger band, smaller cup to make due until I can buy something more expensive...unfortunately, the sales lady measured me on top and ... then deemed me a 36H (and then brought me a 38J to try on and claimed it was a great fit)...so disappointed considering I normally wear a 32 band, 34 at the most. I even mentioned that the band felt loose and instead of going up in the cup and down in the band (they did actually have one available on clearance, it was $10)...she proceeded to tell me I could always just tighten the band. I don't know what happened, they must have realized that they don't offer low enough band sizes to satisfy most customers and switched their sizing methods which is not good considering most of my breast tissue is on top so it's nearly impossible to get an accurate measurement from me that way. At the very least, their sales lady's should know what an M-N cup is...not say they've never heard of those cup sizes before. It's 100% okay for them to not have anything I fit into but they should at least be informed!!!! She even knows about the local specialty shop that has larger sizes yet knows nothing of the sizes they have available. IF I worked there, I'd want to have plenty of information so that my customers knew they could come ask me questions (and potentially purchase other things) if they needed it...even with the bad experience...I still bought 4 bras all between the price of $10 and $20.

I'm trying to be a bit smarter with my money, so I haven't bought any bras in a while. It's been about 3 months since my last review. Looking for a t-shirt bra, I want to try something new. There's no reviews on the Porcelain Elan plunge and it's on sale, so why not. So of course I get dinged $30 on customs and none of the sizes fit! And now I'm going to return the bras, I'm probably going to be out another $10-13!

So, I honestly did not realize, until I started hanging out here and buying correctly sized (and non-stretchy_ bras, that many women experience their breast size increasing during their period.
So I want to ask more detailed questions - do you find the increase starts with PMS? Even if you have a longer PMS? Or is it ... only a day or so before? Does it end before the period ends? or the same time?
My periods have been shifting and changing as I move towards 'the change' and I am feeling like I outgrew all my bras this week - about 5 days before I expect my period to start. But . . i also started feelnig PMS moodiness yesterday. So . . .

For me it's pretty much only during PMS. I don't experience as much swelling during my period as I do before it. I've gone up as much as a full cup size before.
My shark week requires slightly smaller sized bras - I kept my 32F Envy for this reason. The week before is when I see the boobs at their fullest swell - and put them into bras I own that feature stretch materials like the 3-parter Rive Gauche instead of the Wacoal Enchantment.

Has anyone ordered directly from Mimi Holliday? I was in the process of ordering a comfort bra on sale, but at checkout the shipping charges came out to be over $30. Is that normal? I can't justify paying that much. I really want to try one of their comfort bras, but there has to be a cheaper avenue. I know about Journelle. Any other suggestions?

Uhh yeah no that is pretty cheeky of them. I order a lot of stuff from Europe and am used to paying up to $20 for shipping, but their shipping fee is literally twice the posted rates on the Royal Mail site for a large padded envelope or small package to the US, WITH tracking and delivery confirmation (GBP 9.75, in case you were wondering, instead of 20).
If I were you I would write to them politely saying you're not asking for any discounts but just offering the feedback that, as an overseas customer, their shipping charges are so far over the norm, it has dissuaded you from trying their products.
Just for shits and giggles... I checked the site of Harlow and Fox, which is SILK couture lingerie, also based in the UK, and even they charge a little bit less than that for shipping to the US: 18 instead of 20!

Just added a few bras to my listings and lowered all already existing prices. I would really like to make some closet space and need your help .
Also, I'd love to get anywhere from this status quo of keeping bras that don't fit, so all exchanges ideas are welcome in the 28E/F-30DD/E UK size ... range and the Polish sizes that fit like these. So much about that closet space.... Alright, alright, I just want more bras, there you have it! Really should change my username to brajunkie.. oh no that's already taken. ufff.

I bought a new bra, but my husband had it shipped to our old address with a whole bunch of other stuff from Amazon. >_> We've been over there three times now and even left a politely worded note with a phone number to call/text, and so far they've just ignored us. I just got home from another attempt and left another note on their door when they didn't answer.
I know Amazon will probably send us new stuff, but really? You can't just keep mail meant for someone else.

If they can continue to avoid looking you in the eye so as to not give away their guilty conscience - yes, depending on where you live they really will keep mail not intended for them and either use it themselves or sell it.
It's entirely plausible for this to be a situation where their schedule doesn't mesh with yours and they feel weird about talking to strangers who leave notes with their phone number telling them to call you asap. They might not have gotten the delivery either but that's the least likely.
Yeah, I'm thinking it's gotta be the schedule thing. Never actually seen them.
I would feel awkward calling a stranger too, which is why I gave the option to text. But I mean, no matter how I would personally feel about it, I would know that contacting the person is something that has to be done because it's not right to keep stuff that doesn't belong to me. :/
At the very least, couldn't they just stick it back in the mailbox with "return to sender" on it? That shouldn't cost them anything, right?

I put up pictures of my cacique bralette. It's a 22/24, and I usually wear a 16, so it runs small. My bra size is usually 38G. I think it's a really good option for fuller busts. I couldn't put the size as 22/24, so I put 22p for plus.

OMG! I just got home from work and changed into "date night" clothes (lol) … and took off my Curvy Kate Smoothie (which I love… but after about 8 hours cuts into me where the wire is) and put on my brand new Anna Pardel for Comexim bra (the Stiff Cappuccino one - the 3 part cup). I LOVE it!! ... It feels like putting on pajamas! lol (and still tight enough without killing me) I'm going to buy SO many more Comexims now!!!!I'll write a review for the bra later

Too funny because that is exactly how I describe my Comexims - as comfy as pjs! I haven't tried Anna Pardel yet but will fairly soon. In Comexim I am really loving my newest additions - the Dottie bra and my new Pin Up Girl bikini. You know, Polish bras are an addiction and soon you will throw out anything that isn't Polish... Happy shopping!
Comexim Ingrid and Irish Coffee are beautiful. My correct sizes shipped yesterday, so I should have them in my greedy hands soon.
If you can find one, Comexim's Luna is the softest thing I've ever touched.
Sapphire, Poison Ivy, and Geisha are also super pretty.
I desperately wish they still did Green Velvet and Juliet and/or Princess.

My Comexim order has arrived. I am in LOVE. My first order was an 80L Snow and an 80K Ingrid. From this, it was determined that the 80K was my size, but there were some fit issues at the gore. The material gaped in the cups on each side of the gore. I emailed the wonderful Anna of Comexim and ... sent her some pics so she could see what was going on. I now have Mint, Geisha, Tropical Garden, Emanuelle, and Joy, with reduced cups, shortened wires, and whatever little magic trick Anna did for the issues at the gore. Anna is amazing. I adore her. and I adore her bras. Will be posting pics and measurements soon.

Anyone know how their bottoms run size wise, and how high of a rise they have? I've got my eyeballs on the Malibu halter and tie side bikini set (I actually don't mind this animal print lol), hoping the price maybe comes down eventually, but the bottoms are sized small-medium-large. I looked at their chart on Amazon... but ... who knows if that's accurate or if they're TTS as they're listed on the chart... according to their chart I'd be a small but I have shorts, jeans, swim bottoms, and underwear from sizes small-large, 26-29, and 1-7 in my closet so needless to say... I despise inconsistent women's sizing and have never tried anything UK, not bikini bottoms or underwear - nothing. But the last thing I want is a bikini bottom that cuts into my less-than-6 pack "abs" and creates a muffin top.
While I'm at it, how are their bikini bands compared to their bra bands? The Malibu isn't offered (at least not on Amazon) in a 28 band, and my experience with Freya 30 bands is laughable. And are their tops sized more like their unlined bras (wear a 28FF) or their padded bras (would wear a 28G)? I'm not as concerned about wire width and cup projection in a swim top since it doesn't get the workload of my bras, in fact I don't mind if my boobs are slightly minimized in a swim top. But overall volume and coverage matters. TIA!

Remember that "fast fashion" clothing companies produce items for 3 dimensional bodies on two dimensional technology. The only ones who are likely using a dressmaker's form are the ones who produce handmade pieces which will always be more expensive but usually a better fit.
I'm a "utilitarian one piece low cut leg and as much possible coverage on top" kind of woman, with hardly any need of a swimsuit at all but own one "just in case".
valentine556 what would you recommend then? Like bottoms by Comexim or is there a shop/brand you like in particular?
I haven't tried on Freya but I'd like to know other people's experiences too! It's getting to be the time for swimsuits. : )

@CurvyCandy Keeping my hopes up that it can! My last order apparently needed materials anyway, so it hasn't been started yet..so I mean, it should work, but I don't know how we'd go about the payment.
I ordered the Paris Paris 65E and Kleksik 65F. Been eyeing the Kleksik, but wanted to wait until it went on sale.
I don't see much info on it anywhere though, and Paris Paris seems to run the same depth wise in 30DD as 30E, so..hopefully they'll work, but I'm in the mindset of just trying them out and probably having to let one go. We'll see :)
