This is a pull-on bra and the straps are not adjustable. This bra is made of an incredibly cushy, buttery fabric that seems to just melt into softness. It's light as air and silky smooth. It feels "cuddly", and it's a great bra for lounging that also works beautifully under t-shirts or high collared shirts. It gives a "natural" (not rounded or pointed) shape. I am FOB and these cups seem to be created for my shape. It's a pull-over bra, so if the band doesn't fit, there's no way to adjust it. Also, the straps aren't adjustable; they're sewn in place. The size 32C fits well for ...me, although I think a 30D or DD would offer quite a bit more support. I like that these cups don't squash my tissue very much, (many wirefree bras cause flattening in front and rolls where rolls should not be). It does creep onto lower breast tissue, but I think that's because it's a 32 not a 30. Aerie does not make this bra with a 30 band...drat.. Without an underwire, it's difficult to get all the tissue into the cups and keep it there, but the wonderful tall sides and superior side support slings do an excellent job at keeping boobs front and center (for a bra with no underwire). For a wireless bra, Sunnie is kind of pretty. She's not sexy, but she's not matronly either. She's cute, versatile, and it comes in many colors and strap styles. Read more 140 more words

This is "padded" in that it has lightweight, foam molded cups. The padding is fairly thin. It wears nearly exactly like the regular Aerie bralettes, except, strangely, it doesn't feel quite as supportive. I think, in my case, the molded cups push away from my body because they don't cover all my breast tissue. With the sheer models I can scoop all my tissue into the cups, so I get come shape and support. This bralette is beautiful, but I prefer the "non-padded" versions. Also, the straps on this are ridiculously long and I had to alter them.
This is, by far, the prettiest wire-free bra I've ever seen. It is considered by Aerie to be a "bralette" so it does not have standard bra sizing. It comes in the vague size range of XS-XL. My band size is generally 30, so I chose XS, because bralette cups are stretchy, and they obviously aren't supposed to provide support like regular bras. Also, this is a pull-over piece, like most bralettes. This bralette is padded, in that it has 2 small triangles of thin, bathing-suit type liner-pads for a bit of modestly and shaping. The pads help a little at keeping tissue in place, but they aren't large enough to encompass tissue, so I get bulges in all the wrong places. If the sides were taller, like with other bralettes, this would not be a problem, but the frame on this particular bralette is closer to that of a longline bra. I love the t-back, esp. under off-the shoulder shirts. It looks so pretty.
This bralette is beautiful and very sexy. My husband adores it. It is incredibly soft and comfortable. It doesn't provide "lift" or push-up or anything, but it's surprisingly supportive. It controls "jiggle" well and it's so lovely I want it to show through clothing!
I believe that even though I have small breasts, the "issues" I have with them are shared with many who have larger breasts. My problems are underarm boob, side-escape, and quad-boob even though I have shallow, FOB breasts. On average, I weigh between 95-98 lbs. so people think I'm delusional if I try on 32Cs and find the cups are too small. I've caused many a bra fitter to eat her own words when checking on me in fitting rooms. "Oh, you're right," they will say," but that size band doesn't come with larger cups," etc.
For me, it's all about the band, and ...small bands are scarce, and ridiculously costly. I've tried, for many years (as is evident here at Bratabase) to find bras that truly fit. I've come close, and I've even found bras that I love. Unfortunately, my favorite "classic" bra is Panache Porcelain in size 30DD. The reason this is unfortunate is that Panache is difficult to find in the US, and it's an extremely expensive brand. In addition to the scarcity and cost, finding a size 30DD is not easy. I usually order it from the UK, but, because of the difficulties incurred by this bra, I don't like to wear the couple that I own all the time. I try to keep them from wearing out as long as possible. I also love the Panache Andorra, which, I know, is strange for my small size. It's just as hard to find, and my husband thinks it emphasizes my nipples too much (it is a pointy shape).
I have found a bra I really like, in the most unexpected place, in a most unexpected design. Like many of us, I had assumed all "bralettes" were like camisole-type shirts, and I thought they were too flimsy to provide any shaping and support. For years, I have worn these camisole-type bralettes for pajamas, because they are cool, comfortable, and very loose. When a friend of mine, who is very similar to be in size, told me about Aerie bralettes I laughed and said, "But you've only nursed one baby, not three." Luckily I took her advice and tried several Aerie bralettes...and I love them. For sure, Aerie has lots of classic style bralettes, but they also have many "real" bras, including bras in size 30D! My "Pushup Scoop Bralette" is similar to a Sports Bra, except it's made of gorgeous, silky lace, and it's very sexy. It does not look "matronly" like so many other wireless bras. The biggest selling point for me is that it's actually snug on my small frame. It's snug enough to have support! I usually wear Medium in Sports-type bras/bandeaus, otherwide I plunge out the tops and bottoms of the cups. I am thrilled to say that does not happen with the Pushup Scoop Bralette. I wear XS, because, frankly, I like the "lift" it provides in the smaller size, but I am "squished" a bit. Size small would work cupwise, but the band isn't as stable. The Pushup Scoop does not give me the lift and rounded shaping of Panache bras, but it does hold my jiggly tissue in place very well, and it provides a very "natural" look. I don't know how long this bra will last before stretching too much, etc. but I am very pleased with it as an "everyday" bra. I got it on sale for $15.00, so I have no reason to complain about it even if I wound up throwing it away! Read more 505 more words
In terms of fit, I feel that the depth of this bra is smaller than the regular Aerie Sunnie style (non-racerback). I own the same size in the regular Sunnie style, and this ends up being a better fit for me, as I always get some gapping in the regular style. In addition, the band seems to fit a lot more snug than the regular 30C (which is terrific because I find 28'' band sizes tend to fit me best). Maybe because the band fits better, thus the cups don't gap as much? Even though I think I am closer to a 28C, this seems to be a decent fit.
This bra fits just as comfortably as the Hannah Cotton Lightly Lined Bra in the same size. Other similarities: 1) You can only adjust the straps halfway, and 2) the straps come with hooks to turn the bra into a racerback (I have yet to try this option). The only differences are: 1) this bra has lace on the top portion of the cups; 2) this bra comes in pretty colors, Pink Boom and Light Magenta, of which I bought both; and 3) this bra doesn't come in as much on the top as the Hannah Cotton Lightly Lined Bra does, thus you get less of a quadboobing effect with this bra
The bra is excellent for those with shallow breasts and wide roots. I bought this bra in Charcoal Heather, Oatmeal Heather, and Light Heather. I bought these the same time I bought Blakely because I had heard that Blakely is also great for those with shallow breasts. Compared to Blakely in the same size (30C), Hannah comes in more at the top, so it can give you quadboob if you don't really have shallow breasts. Hannah also has wider cups (I had to return Blakely because it was cutting into my breast tissue). Overall, I love this bra, which I why I bought three. It is comfortable and disappears under t-shirts. Like most other Aerie bras, you can only shorten the straps about half way. This hasn't been a problem for me as of yet. This bra also comes with hooks on the straps to turn the bra into a racerback. I have not tried this as yet.
32D isn't really my ideal size anymore, but I always fall prey to trying them on. I was surprised by how well the band on this bra fit - I'd say it might run a bit tight for a 32D in comparison to the others I've tried.
I tried this on briefly and love the look of it - The padding gives me great cleavage and shape. It's unwired but it has hook closures, which I find convenient. I just don't need any more bralettes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I love this bra. The padding is on the underside, so it helps(well for me anyway) it holds me up(gravity isn't my friend) without making it look like I have to stuff my bras. I stay perky and natural looking.
Same as my sunnies, basically. Really shallow, slips down. When swooped, slight center spillout that disappears because bra slides around. Not a good idea to sister size up in Aerie
Cups too shallow and sit way below IMF. Pushup padding is comfy and smooth. Spill out of center and cups cut in when swooped and scooped. But the band is so loose that the bra moves down and the effect of swoop and scoop goes away instantly. was hard to get photos of that happening. Very soft fabric.
too shallow for me - wires below IMF cuts in at top slightly, not as much as the Aerie pushup styles though. Front clasp is nice. Fabric is soft. I would like it if it fit. Band is too large, but they don't make 30DDs (or maybe they just weren't in stock)
Aerie does not make anything in 30DD unfortunately.
I have shallow breasts and the Blakely doesn't fit me either. It just seems like a weird cut, the Sophie has a lot more projection with narrower wires and is non padded.
This is the review for the crochet lace looking Aerie bralette. This is a very nice bralette, with lined cups. It's made of thicker lace so it will definitely last longer than a lot of the other lace bralettes like from Victoria's Secret. I received the large as a giveaway in order to test my size, and I must say it's very generous in the cup portion. I am usually a 26FF, so I decided to alter down the band just to get the right amount of coverage in the front, but I think a medium would have suit me better. The large is actually quite large. I usually wear large in Flirtitude bralettes, and some VS bralettes and alter the band.
I bought this bra before realizing that I was wearing the wrong size, so I realize now that it's too large in the band. It's very soft, and stretchy, and I would recommend this bra.
Pros: price ($8!) Cons: lace trim noticeable under clothing I managed to snag this bra for $8 at my local Winners, where most stores in a mall will send their last few items for clearance. It is very padded, but that causes a shape mismatch for me, as I require more immediate depth. As well, I bought this before I found out my real size. The straps are very wide set on the bra, so they slip down quite easily unless they are tightened. The band is mesh, so the bra is quite light other than the cups, which are heavily padded. The crochet details on the bra are very cute, but can poke through on thinner shirts. I altered the band smaller, so it fits better, and removed the back lace trim to do so. I also altered the gore to bring the wires together, and now they are too close, and I had to remove the small crochet flower trim.
Aerie does not make anything in 30DD unfortunately.
