Very comfortable bra, even though it is too small for me. The material is soft and comfortable, band and straps fit well. The “push up” is not much, it’s really just a little bit thicker all around which I tend to lean towards in bras because I have my nipples pierced and unlined and sometimes even lightly lines bras let them peak out sometimes lol. I don’t know if it’s the push up aspect or if the bra runs small but if I were to repurchase I would go up a cup size or try the non-push up.
It would be a great bra, if it fit. I bought this in high school and I have no idea why I thought it fit. I am bigger now than I was in high school and the band is way too big for me now. My sister has the same bra in her size after I measured her properly and it is her favorite bra.
I'll be honest, up until I got my Comexim Ardea, this was my cleavage bra. I still wear it on occasion because it does give a nice lift.
It is definitely too small for me in the cup. However the band is actually a pretty good fit, despite being a 32. Another Aerie band that runs tight, I suppose.
Now my biggest issue with this bra isn't the fit of the cups, it is the dumb mesh that is connect to the straps. As shown in the pictures, if I wear the straps as intended the mesh is pretty flush with my body, but they're about to fall ...off my shoulders, way too wide for me. However, if I wear the straps where they feel comfortable, the mesh gets extremely wrinkly and looks awful. Maybe this would work better for someone with tall roots and wide shoulders? I'm not sure, but it definitely doesn't work for me.
The one kind of positive and negative about this bra is the firm padding. It's nice because most American push ups, my breasts laugh at and push down, due to my immediate projection. This one actually can combat the immediate projection and look smooth. The down side is that while the immediate projection doesn't cause visible issues, I can definitely feel my breasts trying to push the padding down and this causes the wires to feel pretty uncomfortable. It's fine for when I want to wear it for a day to have nice cleavage, but this could never be an everyday bra for me, even in the proper size. Read more 158 more words
First things first, this bra is a cup size too small for me now, due to gaining muscle and losing some fat.
Regardless of the size being off now, I cannot believe I ever wore this bra. Despite being wireless, it is more painful on my ribs than any wired bra I own. The seams on the side of the cup press into my ribs so hard. Now, one thing to keep in mind is that at the time I was probably pulling the band out of my IMF to make room, since the cups were folding. At the time of buying this bra, I had not very realized I was immediately projected. I thought I was shallow because I had self supporting breasts. Classic rookie mistake.
As you can see, wearing this in the IMF shows how shallow this bra actually is. Even if I was wearing this bra in a cup size up, there's not way it would have enough depth at the wire for me. I'm sure this would work great for someone shallow though.
I am apparently more projected than this bra can fit, so I feel squished flat as if wearing a sports bra. Combined with center fullness, I have a fair amount of tissue spillage due to the shape of the cups. The cup is also wide at the bottom, so the bra itself collapses under boob weight and wrinkles near the wings without a underwire. It's comfortable to wear, but the fitting issues outweighs how pretty it is.
I'm new to ABTF, previously worn 32B/C, recommended now to a 30DD or 32D, so this is the second size I've tried in this bra, and this is a much better fit for cup size with a 32D rather than a 32C. I'm center full, so I do have some slight quad-boob happening in the middle section, but it's not majorly visible, and the cup feels like a good fit for my even top-bottom fullness and slight projection besides that. Lovely dark olive green color.
first off, I know this is too small in the cups. I wanted the effect I get from wearing this style too small. Being a wireless bra with no gore allows for major cleavage if you size down. Aeries size chart is confusing, but I found you can order your actual band size. Runs true to size. In fact, the material has 360 stretch so you don't need to worry about accommodating for different sized breasts or fluctuations throughout the month. The cups are wide enough on the sides and tall enough for higher roots. The straps are unusual. They are two thin straps that stay next to each other. Im not sure what the point is. The band is lace while the cups are a dreamy material I've never felt before. Softest material. Not good support. Maybe better support with the full coverage version. Definitely feel the bounce when I walk down steps.
I would prefer this exact same style but with full cups instead of demi-cups, because the low cups "quad" when I move. These cups are very short, so they don't help keep armpit folds hidden.
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
Really wanted this bra to fit. It has a beautiful light lavender color and it's got super smooth fabric. However, this bra was a horrendous fit for me. Way shallow, I got mega quadding along the top seams, like my breasts couldn't "breathe." This is a full cup, so it's very modest which can be nice if you want to cover up. The gore on this bra was a pain, it is so separate and sat on my breasts way too much. Nonetheless, this bra was actually the one that made me realize I need shorter gores/slim gores which was a huge plus in my bra search.
This bra will work for you if you're shallow and have lots of space between your breasts at the center.
This bra is ultra-comfortable and works surprisingly well for my shape. I’m projected, very slightly full on top, center full, close set, narrow roots, and slightly tall roots. This bra is a little shallow for me, the wires are much too wide, and the band is too loose. Still, I fill the cups with minimal quadboob, it’s not totally unsupportive, and I love wearing it around the house. If this bra came in 30FF or 28G I’d be in heaven.
It does stretch out very quickly. After 2 months, the stretched band length is 35” (pretty bad for a 32DDD). It’s also showing signs of losing its shape already, so the quality isn’t the greatest. What it has going for it is looks: the lace detail is pretty but not uncomfortable at all, there’s a cute bow, and it’s a nice but subtle shade of light blue.
I have a 29" underbust but wear aerie bras in 32C or 34B since they usually run tight. I found a pair of these on Poshmark and figured I'd give them a try. Unlike most aerie bras this season, the bra is primarily cotton, so the band is soft and stretchy (or maybe the previous wearer stretched them out?). The cups are a bit big but nothing that I can't work with. Unsurprisingly these fit exactly like the 36A bras I'd been wrongly wearing for the last 10 years - They don't fit perfectly but are good enough. If you find this bra somewhere I'd recommend trying this out in your true bra size or one band size larger.
This review is for the Real Me Unlined bra made of nylon and elastane.
Woah! Out of 8 bras I tried on today, this one was the only one that really worked, and I love it. I didn't have much hope when I picked it out because unlined bras don't usually work for my conical, wide shape (the ones I've tried are either all too projected or narrow). I gave this one a try because I really wanted a burgundy bra, and I ended up pleasantly surprised! When first trying it on I did notice a lot of wrinkling, but after swooping and scooping I manged to fill in the cups ...just fine. It's soo comfortable, and one of the best fits I've found so far. The (un)lining of the cups is stretchy so I'm sure this would work for those with more projection than I have. Despite what the other reviews say, I found the cups to be too close-set for me. With the cup separation only at 1 inch, there is wrinkling at the center because my breasts are further apart (separated by about 4 fingers). Wrinkles at the top of the bra too but I'm used to that with my short roots using full coverage cups. The underwire width and length are perfect for me. My left breast is larger than the right, so I find with a lot of bras that if the underwire is too tall it cuts into my breast tissue on the left. This one fits well enough that it doesn't bother me. Because it's an unlined bra, nipples can be seen when it's cold out. I'm enjoying wearing it to lounge around the house. Provides a bit of shape for my conical breasts, but not enough that I can wear it under a tight shirt. I tried on the Real Me Lightly Lined bra hoping that it would fit the same but it didn't. I tried a 34B because with aerie bras I'm either 32C or 34B, depending on the firmness of the band. I have a 29" underbust and can use all 3 hook lengths with no trouble. May go back and try on a 32C to see if it fits better, but for now this one will definitely do! Read more 264 more words
Bought when I was thinner/also guessing my size. The band is much too stretchy and thin, the straps are too thin and weak to support breasts. Cup too low/shallow. Not as good quality as fuller cup brands. The material has also changed to a thinner/cheaper material in the past few years, as noted when I tried a Brooke (32DDD) model in-store last year. The material/fit/construction of Aerie bras just doesn't seem to suite fuller cups.
This is only bra I own at the moment that is close to my measured size. Its not bad, I can wear it, but I experience soreness on the outer edges of the wire. Fit wise, it works fine both with and without the inserts, however I do experience a bit of gapping in the right cup on the upper portion.
