This bra is slightly too deep for me, as I am a shallow 32D. I can wear the Betsey Johnson "Eyelet Lace" bra comfortably in this size, but the "Zipper Stripe" has too much volume at the apex of the cup. (Although it doesn't gap much at the top.) Is a very comfortable, lightweight moulded cup!
This bra is great for a relatively shallow 32D. It's a great demi cup and the lace overlay is comparatively flat. I have been able to wear this bra (in other colors that I've owned) under t-shirts with no show-through on the lace. It lies nice and flat on breast types where many other 32D moulded cups gap. I love the metallic finish (limited color)! I've just decided I can't use this bra since I own similar ones. Never worn - just popped the tags off.
I've only had this for a couple of days, but it's definitely one of the best fitting bras I've had. In only a few situations have I noticed ever so slight gapping at the top of the cups, but since they aren't half cups and I have shallow breasts that makes sense. It's comfortable overall, since the wires aren't perfectly rigid.
This bra is super comfy, very similar to the BJ stocking stripe in terms of comfort and fit for me, but without the stretchy band of lace at the top of the cup that cuts into by breast tissue. I do get a little bit of gapping at the top of the cup when I am slouching but using the little converter hook to make a cross back makes this dissapear, so it is most likely the straps are a tad wide set for me. The band is super stretchy and after a month I am moving from the loosest to the second hook but when I get to the tightest hook I will probably reinforce the band so I can keep wearing it, it is that comfy. Lightly contoured cups prevent show through which is important to me and the lace at the top of the cup doesn't show unter t-shirts or thin tops. The cup width is great for me, I have noticed I need a wider underwire and shallower cup to get a good fit.
The band is very stretchy. I have to wear it on the tightest hooks and it's still not tight enough. I have pain under my right armpit if I wear this bra all day. Otherwise comfortable.
This bra fits me the best, it's pretty, band is fairly tight for a 30 but not quite tight enough for 26/28 band ladies. It is a three part balconette bra with lace detailing and so it does show under thin or tight shirts. I usually wear a cami to counteract that. Also, the straps aren't fully adjustable so that's no good but other than that, I really like this bra. It's just not the most versatile due to its texture. I actually cut the top bows off of mine so that they wouldn't be showing through my shirts all the time.
I have shallow-ish, wide-ish breasts and this bra fits very well. The band is stretchy, like all other Betsey Johnson bras I've tried. I had to start using the last hook soon after getting the bra.
After wearing the bra for a while, the gore starts to dig into my chest. I was able to bend the wires slightly to make it dig less.
Like every other Betsey Johnson bra I've tried, the band is very stretchy. This bra fits very similarly to the Betsey Johnson Zipper Stripe bra. Although the cups are not actually physically very wide apart, something about the shape and angle of them makes them seem very wide. I tried pinching the gore to bring the wires closer together and that improved the fit. If it weren't for the band, which I know will stretch out quickly, I'd consider keeping it and taking in the gore a bit. But I'm returning this one.
This bra is fairly comfortable and supportive. I would recommend it to people who have shallow, wideset breasts. It will be the most supportive to those who measure 30"+ under their breasts.
I had to bend the gore slightly away from my chest (it curves inward just a bit at the top of the gore, and leaves a darker red mark.) I sometimes wear a 30D, but can't do that in this brand because the band is a bit stretchy and the straps are wideset. I fit better in the 30C, even though one breast quads ever-so-slightly. This is a shallow bra. If you measure around 26 inches under your bust, this bra may be too stretchy to support you. I measure 27-28 and wear this bra on the middle hook.
Not great for shallow breasts. Top edge is too closed. The quadboob for me, however, isn't terrible and is probably only noticeable by me from the right angle. I find Betsey Johnson bands relatively stretchy/soft. This is not an exception. The straps also do not shorten enough for me. One of my breasts is smaller than the other but I could not shorten the strap to accommodate it. I also found the straps to be too wide, and they dig into my armpit right where my chest meets my arms. My shoulders are actually quite broad, so I'm confused as the straps seem not to match the ribcage the band was made for. It is very cute, though!
Band is stretchy for a 30 and cup doesn't fit my shape. The cup curves in and is for breasts that are more projected as opposed to shallow, I think. I found it to be a quintessential example of how push-ups don't usually work for shallow shapes!
I absolutely love this bra. One of my favorite bra makers is Betsey Johnson Intimates. I forget how many bras of theirs that I own or if they are all in the same size. I bought this bra from another member.
I have shallow and asymmetrical breasts and this bra is wonderfully comfortable on me. I absolutely love the pink color of the bra. I really can't explain why I can fit so many different sizes but this fits me and I am in love with it. This is certainly a 30 inch bra especially with the amount of stretch that is in the band. I can wear it on the first set of hooks but I prefer to wear it on the last ones. This bra is certainly one that I can use my rixie clip on to make the band tighter. At the moment, its not a problem for me so I won't be using it. I bought this bra from another user.
