How do you say... a very good staple foundation piece except it's a nightmare to put on or escape from? Neither of us could work out either the angle of shoulder dislocation required to get the hooks & eye done up in the back, nor any kind of timely manner to adjust the straps. A good piece but it requires someone else to get in and out of :/ The neckline in this size run low on my petite teen but also gave great coverage. It's the back just below the neck where Storm's straps join that is harder to hide under clothing- I'm rather ...larger in shoulder, so while it wasn't ridin up on my neck it clung and cut into my trapezius muscles badly. Definitely consider shoulder slope and muscle alignment when selecting this style.
Purchased for thin teen who needs petite shoulder sizing and prefer racer back fit. Inner lining is typical slinky for Bravissimo's fusion style offerings an doesn't itch or pinch. The outer/band/strap material is not the softest in Storm, but the wicking, elasticity and recovery are exactly what we've been looking for in an ocean of saggy sad yoga tops and compression-only foundation pieces that basically only exist to crush and smash down any upper fullness and push everything out of the cups into the armpits.
The hardware is fairly industrial strength without being industrial-sized, the build and details modern and attractive, the shape the bra allows is a very wide, high set and rounded profile that's effectively minimizing without being a binder.

I normally wear 28G/30FF, and I sized up to a 30G. This fits pretty well. Bravissimo tends to run small. It is a really pretty swimsuit top, and the only bra/bikini top where the crisscross wires actually look good on me and don't flop around (I'm full on bottom). It might be a tad too small for me, but I'll probably keep it.
I have decided that I don't like longline bras, the squeezing feeling around my ribs. Maybe to some people, it would feel like a hug. I don't want to get hugged by a python.
I have also decided that most Bravissimo plunges are too high on top for me, because I am FOB.
On the plus side, this bra has a pretty, geometric pattern on the lace (enough flowers already) and understated threads decorating the edges.
This is a very pretty bra, with the cool magnet closure. Beware: straps do not adjust fully. I had them as tight as possible; if I kept it, when the bra stretched with age, it would be too long for me. And, it doesn't have enough immediate projection for me. Also, as with all these Bravissimo triangle bras, I get wrinkles on top because I am full on bottom. But if it fits you, go for it....it's a nice bra!
I have to size up in a lot of Bravissimo bras, but this one seems to run more true to size.
I might reorder it in my regular size, 30FF, but I'm not in love with it. I don't really need a beige bra that I can't wear under a white shirt. But I never wear white anyway, because it looks terrible on me.
Very comfortable, stretchy cup....with some quad for me. I already sized up one cup, so I will size up two and see if that works. The band also runs small. This 30 measures at 28" stretched.
There's only one thing I don't like about this bra: the color. Lilac, yuck. Looks terrible on me. But I like the bra so much, I will still try a bigger one.
I love this bra! It fit me perfectly for about 6 months. Unfortunately, my breast size changed, so now I'm popping out on one side. But it holds me well and makes me feel confident.
This is a balconette bra. Technically a 3 part, but the top part has 3 extra “sections” that break it up. I wanted to love this and loved the look in the photo online, but it was a huge fail. Cup size was appropriate, but it is an all over stretch fabric that let my soft tissue bubble everywhere between the many seams. I literally had bubbling at every seam and line. I also got zero support from it. This would be good for tissue that is more self supporting, but is terrible for someone who is soft like I am. The bra being so stretchy all over also meant that the band was too loose. Shape wise, I think just about anyone could wear it since it is so stretchy, but again, I think it will fail on anyone who is soft. Gore was nice and narrow. I will say the fabric is soft and beautiful.
This bra has such a weird name. At first glance, it seemed like it would make a great t-shirt bra because of the smooth satiny finish and no seams. Maybe for someone else. It was such a weird shape on me. It flattened my boobs out a lot, pushing them flat up on my chest. My larger side looked like it was dented from the side. The fitter said there's no other bra like it in their collection - a cross between a balcony and t-shirt bra. The gore is a bit low and reminded me of how my very soft boobs look in the 30GG ...- Cleo » Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) when I first put it on, just sort of squished down and touching above the gore. I felt like they could easily spill out above the gore like in the Neve with a few minutes' wear. On top of that, it was also too high at the sides. I am guessing it was too shallow for me because of the squished-flat appearance. Only plus is that it really was seamless. Read more 79 more words
This is a very comfortable bra! The band feels a bit loose on the loosest hook, but it stays in place, so maybe that's just a feeling. The cups fit well, it doesn't give a completely round shape, but not exactly pointy either and the wires are a really good width for me. The top of the cup has a small ribbon sewn unterneath, which isn't stretchy, but since it comes up high enough, it doesn't cut in. The colourway is just beautiful! It's a very pretty dark green shade, which goes really well with the leafy embroidery.
Now I just hope it lasts, cause I heard some Bravissimo bras tend to fall apart quickly...
Nothing too impressive here, bought at sale price as I was curious about it. I usually don't mind having my bra straps showing under strappy tops, as long as they're not hideous or boring (sometimes I even incorporate a bra with a matching/contrasting colour into my outfit, to make it interesting if it does peek out)
Pretty much does what it says on the tin, basically it's a stretchy strappy top with a padded bra inside. The bra itself is nothing special; it's too wide for my root, the band is a little too big/stretchy (ideally I would need a 28 band in this), and the wired gore ends ...about halfway up the cups, just like in the Panache Sports Bra (5021). The bit between the gore and the upper edge of the fabric sometimes folds over itself in a weird way and creates a little pocket between my boobs. Tightening the straps doesn't make a difference, really. The seams in the padding are visible through the top.
The shape it gives is alright. It okay in terms of support; there's lift, but the boobs are left to a natural teardrop type of shape.
Anyway, it's quite comfortable, and is suitable for lounging or casual outings like on the beach and similar places. I wouldn't exactly wear it for work or evenings out when I want to look my best (as in not a slouch), when I have bras that give a much better shape. Read more 136 more words
Attractive bra, but as the 32G was okay in the band but too small in the cups / wrong shape, I didn't even try this one (30G) on before sending it back.
I found this for cheap on ebay, and since it had been out of stock at Bravissimo, I decided to give it a try. I wasn't completely sure that this would the right size, but it was worth a shot. I've been eying this bra for a while and just had to have it...
Fit-wise, it's so-so. The band is definitely too big, so I'll have to take it in. The top of the cups dig in slightly when I breathe deep but under a shirt it looks fine. You do have to position yourself just right in this bra, or else it tends to wrinkle around the nipple ...area.
As to the bra itself, it's very pretty and it gives a youthful, perky shape. Nice amount of uplift. There is a slight pointy-ness, but it's not super noticeable at this size. Very retro, which I like. Also, the seams are pretty flat, so I can wear this under thinner shirts as well. Overall, I like this bra, but I feel like I'd do best in a 28GG or possibly 28H. The wires are shorter than the fabric tube. So they can be moved either to the arms or to the center. Therefore the outer end of the wire is not at the end of the bra and the pointy end of the wire digs into my side/armpit. I can not wear the bras for more than one day.
Hi! I think we are size twins! :) If you can spare a moment for advice I would be so grateful. Is your Bravissimo size mostly similiar to Freya or Panache? I want to order the new Bravissimo Parisian Plume demi cup lightly padded bra but what sizes to order? Reviews say it is very similar to this Demi Diva bra in construction. I wonder...
