  1. B.wow'd Push Up Bra (958187)

I wasn't overly interested in the looks of this bra but I needed a lighter colored plunge pushup in a small band size so decided to try this. Kind of strange fabric, it seems to be made of neoprene (aka wetsuit fabric)... this is firm fabric and doesn't allow a lot of give in the band. Also, the band is true to size. I measure for a 28 band size (26.5" ribcage) and accordingly, I have to wear this bra (size 30D) on the middle hook instead of the loosest.

Love the colors though. The straps are very narrow (3/8") which I don't prefer in ... any bra; I like at least 1/2" and preferably 5/8" because I find them more comfortable. The scallops along the top cup edges are kind of odd, but they are obviously an attempt at adding interest and they don't seem to show through clothes. This bra has bump pads integrated into the bottoms of the cups which give a definite cleavage boost and may cause boobs to fall towards the center if they are soft, so watch for that. Overall a comfortable bra with decent shaping.

I ordered this bra because the regular Ciao Bella fits pretty well on my shallow-ish, wide-ish breasts and I wanted a T-shirt version. However, the shape of this bra is not the same as the regular Ciao Bella. The contour cup on this bra expects more projection on the inside of the breasts so I have gapping in the part of the cups closest to the gore.

I've had this bra about two months. After washing it the first time in the washing machine the decorative trim kinda started to come off at the bottom or the gore, couple stitches and a cute button fixed this easily. Very comfortable bra though

I have small, shallow, wide boobs. I tried this bra on a whim (plunge /and/ a pushup?), and was so surprised when it actually fit.

This is a very plain bra. It's moulded and made of a very smooth material, so it makes a fantastic t-shirt bra. The fabric is soft, stretchy, and isn't itchy anywhere. The straps fully adjust, and can be converted to halter and racerback style.

The pushup pad in the bottom of the bra is substantial, though perhaps not quite as big as the Pour Moi Amour Padded (PM-1500) that I tried on a while back.

The color leaves ... something to be desired (not a fan of the bright salmon), and the scalloping on the inside edge of the cups is a little goofy.

I only had one major complaint about this bra: where the straps meet the top of the cups is incredibly pokey/irritating. Some of it went away after washing a couple of times. The rest was softened after I took a rough nail file to the pokey edge. Having taken care of that, though, I don't really have any complaints about this bra.

My underbust measures 26.5" supertight and 28" snug; I wear this bra comfortably on the tightest hook. I hope the band doesn't stretch out too much over time.

This is the first B.Tempt'D bra I've bought, but I love Wacoal. I have yet to get a bra from them that wasn't awesome. This one has a quite a bit of padding, and -- if at all possible -- you might want to try on the next cup size up just to be sure. Nevertheless, it's quite comfortable. The band stretches a bit over the course of a day, but not enough to become too loose. It's got a medium sized lace bow on the front, which may not work well under tighter shirts. However, it doesn't show under a unisex T-shirt or a blouse.

    Overall, I'm very satisfied.

(Borrows from my 30C entry cause my thoughts are essentially the same) I tried this one in 30C and 30D in store. The fit was so off, and this bra is so highly measured I didn't take measurements of my own. The cups are way too projected and closed on top. It might be the weirdest fit I've had so far. I'm mostly reviewing this to keep notes that I've tried it, but I won't be coming back to it.

This is pretty much the exact same shape as the Wacoal How Perfect, but the band is looser (more true to size, I think, since the Wacoal version was so tight I had to size up the band). It's less expensive, and I like the satiny face fabric, which picks up less lint than the How Perfect. The band on my black one feels looser than the nude one, which seems about right, maybe a bit too stretchy. I'm not a fan of the racerback J-hook: in racerback configuration, it caused the armpit area of the bra to feel tight and cut in a bit. But in parallel strap configuration, this is a very comfortable bra.

The wires come up into the gore a bit more than I like, but they're not uncomfortable. Cup material is soft but stays shaped. This bra feels less stretchy than most @Wacoal or @B.tempt'd I've tried or owned. Watch out for the straps if you have narrow shoulders or a smaller frame. The straps are wide-set and since they are partly made of an inelastic ribbon material, they do not have as much give as regular bra straps. If I tighten them to my usual preferred tightness, they will fall off my shoulders if I lean due to the stiffness. If I make them extra tight, the lack of give feels restrictive when moving. When the straps fall down, they bind my shoulders because they don't stretch much. Comes in interesting colors. Attractive, mostly comfortable, and affordable bra but hard to pull off if straps falling down is an issue.

Hooks are on the left side, which is problematic for me as I am left-handed. It's extremely difficult to hook and unhook this bra.

The band is very wide and I found the 30D to be very firm. I might need to go up a band and/or a cup size.

I usually have a lot of problems with racerback bras putting strain on my upper traps, but I decided to give this bra a go anyway.

Overall, it is a pretty comfortable bra, as I did not experience any pain from the racerback, but this style didn't work out for me. I've found after wearing supportive full band bras that I just despise partial band bras, since they never feel stable at the cradle for me. In addition, the band of this is not a snug 30, so while I didn't have any riding up, I could feel the cradle of the bra not sitting flush against ... my chest. This also caused issues with the gore not tacking, some discomfort from the underwires, and an overall feeling of the cups not being very secure.

If it hadn't been for these issues, I would've liked to keep this bra. It gave a nice shape, and the little bit of detailing on the straps and lace back makes it prettier than your bland, standard molded cup bra. The back of the bra is made from a diamond patterned mesh and has a cute little scalloped mesh ruffle at the top, which lays nicely under clothing. The straps also have a picot edging, and thankfully are fully adjustable, unlike some of the other B.Temp'td bras I've tried.

I'd recommend this bra if you are on the larger end of your band size, since there are no hooks to adjust the fit.

    Fits

The B. Sumptuous is probably the prettiest bra in the B.tempt'd by Wacoal line, in my opinion. Since they are known for styles like the Ciao Bella, this was also my first experience trying an unlined bra from the line.

Clearly, what drew me to this bra was the appearance. It's made with gorgeous lace that feels more like a high end European bra than a department store brand, with unlined lace cups that have satin blossoms woven into the lace pattern. It catches the light in the most beautiful way, and has the added bonus of not being totally sheer over the nipples. There's ... a simple satin bow between the cups, and the rest of the bra is kept simple with a plain mesh band and doubled satin straps.

It also came up on my Bratabase recommendations a few times, so I was curious about it. Despite being discontinued, I was able to find it on Amazon in my size. In the B.tempt'd line I range anywhere between a 30C-30DD depending on style, but I chose 30D because it was the most affordable option and has free shipping and returns.

I was pretty surprised to find that this style gives me some of the same fit challenges I routinely experience in brands like Simone Perele. Compared to other bras from the line, I immediately noticed that the underwires were a bit U shaped, and about the same level at the gore and wing. While it's a bit wider than the SP or Parfait wires that i just can't get along with, I still found the wires to be a bit too narrow and too straight at the top. A better shape for me is more open at the top than parallel.

Another construction point is the shape of the cups. Like the Ciao Bella balconnette, these cups have a vertical seam going through the entire cup rather than a 3 or 4 piece cut and sew construction as commonly found in UK brands. Now since the Ciao Bella is really a molded bra with a lace overlay, this detail doesn't make much difference in the fit, but in the B.Sumptuous, it does. I feel that this cup construction is just not the best shape for shallow breasts as it tends to smush the tissue flat rather than lift and shape; I had the same issue with the Skarlett Blue Entice Balconnette. Although there's a mesh side sling in the cup, I didn't find that it gave me much shaping. It just gave a super natural shape that wasn't the most flattering under clothing. I think that rounder breasts with firm tissue would have a better result, although I am pretty sure part of the problem is that the cups are a bit too small for me. However, one nice feature of this cup is that it wasn't too open or closed off at the top, since there's just a very thin elastic upper edge. It sat flush against my body and did not result in any gapping.

The best fit aspect of this bra is actually the band, which measures very small for a 30 but fits very comfortably. Since it is stretch mesh like Cleo Marcie/Lucy or Curvy Kate Florence, it is firm but not restrictive. This is also a full band style and the bottom elastic is thankfully quite wide, so I totally love the band. It would be great for a 28 ribcage as well as a 30. However, one feature that makes this not ideal for petite women is the constant issue of B.tempt'd straps not being fully adjustable. I've found that all the styles with the twin rouleau satin straps do not leave enough room for the straps to be adjusted. What a shame!

Overall this bra is a nice surprise, but the natural shape the cup gives my shallow breasts is not my favorite. It is a great option for small band, round and firm breasts that are a bit on the narrower side. Given that the cup measurements are quite small I think I would have better luck in a 30DD than the 30D, so we will see if it works out better in a different size.

What a surprise! I had always passed on the Ciao Bella based on the appearance of the photos online and the fact that I have been looking for unlined bras lately rather than lined ones. I decided to give this a shot since Nordstrom had the Vanilla Ice colorway on sale. I figured it wouldn't work out and I would return it, but I am actually quite pleased with this bra. Despite some issues, it is surprisingly comfortable, and I expect this will be a great bra for daily wear when the weather gets a little colder.

I ordered this in my normal size of ... 30D to start. The band fits true to size for the brand, about the same as Betsey Johnson and Natori. The band is made from micromesh-lined open mesh, with decently firm elastic that goes under the cradle, giving it a much more secure fit than I am used to from American department store brands. The unstretched band measures TTS for 30D, and while it isn't as snug as the UK 30D bras I am used to, feels secure yet comfortable.

Now, one major reason the styling of the bra never appealed to me is that I thought it was one piece molded foam, which I absolutely hate. Instead, it is constructed as a normal bra with cups made from a seamed flexible foam lining. The construction of the bra is the same as Cleo Mimi, but has a lace overlay over the entire front panel. Since it is really just a normal balconnette with a bandeau-like appearance, it ends up looking more like a normal balconnette on me.

I was originally worried that the cup seams would be really visible, since I hated the ones on Cleo Juna, and several users' fit photos showed a pointy seam, but these are actually quite subdued on me. This is thanks to the flexible foam cups, which really do mold nicely to your shape. As long as you are full enough to fill out the cups completely, the seams won't be visible. The lace texture is also pretty subtle under clothing, and is no more noticeable than my normal unlined lace bras (currently the Auden unlined lace balconnette).

My only fit criticism is that the shape of the cups is very immediately projected, and the fullest part of the cup is rather low on me and doesn't look as nicely rounded as I would like. I've also noticed this in fit photos of almost everyone else, so the fullest point of this bra is kind of unbalanced. However, the top of the cup is more closed, so it almost gives me a little bit of quadding. The shape is a little bit orange-in-a-glass on me, and I could do with a shallower bottom cup but more room at the top of the cup. However, since the foam is very flexible, this shape mismatch is pretty subtle, and I could easily get away with this fit, especially under clothing.

After trying the 30DD and comparing measurements, I have concluded that these cups are just too small for me, which explains the fit issues and shape mismatch. This is pretty odd since the only other B.tempt'd bra that fits me is a 30C, and so far none of the 30Ds I've tried have fit (I've tried 3 styles and 5 bras). I really have no idea how the overall sizing for this brand runs, but I do feel that the cups run small on this particular style.

However, there are two things I really don't love about the bra. First, the adjustable portion of the strap is very short (most of it is a decorative twinned strap), and I have the straps fully shortened. I am 5'1" with a normal torso proportion, and I don't think this would work for someone who actually has a shorter torso. However, I saw another user who is also 5'1" write that the straps were too short, so I wonder if the style has been updated, or if there are just some inconsistencies in strap length. The second is that the lace, while decently soft, snags easily. In handling the bra for this review, it snagged on my gold bracelet and on a rough patch of skin on my finger. Hopefully this doesn't become an issue with regular wear, as I am planning to add this bra into my everyday rotation for cooler weather.

I have noticed that after trying five of these bras in the same size that some have a nicer shape than others. This color is the best fitting of all of the ones that I've tried, and it fits like 30DD but slightly scaled down. It does not give me a weird cup shape like some of the others do, however 30DD is a better fit. Also, some of the bras have squeaky underwires, and I'm not sure if this comes from the wire coating, the foam, or the interior of the wire channel. This one is super squeaky, and the 30DD was squeaky as well!

This color, Surf the Web, seems to have the smallest cup shape and looks the most off when worn, meaning that the cup looks too pointed and short in the wrong place. I ordered this same color and size twice and saw the same issue in both bras. Some other colors have a better shape and almost work for me, but overall 30DD is the best fit.

Truth be told, I had very low expectations for this bra based on the fact that strapless bras are typically extra tricky to get right, and a not-so-great review I read on this site. However, I decided to order this style anyway to hit the Nordstrom Rack free shipping minimum, so two of these arrived in my mailbox today. I ordered two colors, both Praline (nude) and Night (black), and found that there are subtle differences between the two, so I suspect that there's been a slight model upgrade somewhere along the line.

Now as far as strapless bra blind buys, this really wasn't that bad. ... The fit was probably 90% OK, but since I already have strapless bras that are workable for now, I didn't feel the need for a bra that wasn't totally spot on. There were two main factors that made me decide not to keep the bra:

    1) The band, while it measures TTS and feels TTS for a 30D, does not feel secure because the bra is not a full band construction, and the silicone grips are only on the wings. While wearing the bra, I felt that the wings and back were staying in place while the cradle and cups kept sliding down. This is probably not too bad if you wear a very snug band, but since I am really a 28 band size and can't size down in this brand, there wasn't enough tension to keep the front in place. This might also be an issue for larger cup sizes as I'd imagine the weight of heavier breasts would just drag the front down since it's not supportive enough.

    2) The cup shape is slightly too narrow and slightly too closed off. I have short roots and I already felt that the top was borderline cutting into my roots and giving me the quad effect, so I can only imagine how this would look on someone who has taller roots. Since I am also very shallow on top, I think this makes the effect worse, because I don't have the rounded breast tissue at the top to lift the top of the cup away from my roots. You may have better luck with this bra if you have a very rounded breast shape that's not too wide, and short or normal roots.

I also found slight construction differences between the two bras I purchased, as I mentioned above. The Praline (nude) had silicone grips that were flat and matte, which almost looked like they had been melted into the bra. The cups are slightly narrower on this model but the gore was wider. The Night (black) had silicone grips that were rounded and very shiny, almost like hot glue. Because of this, the bra felt much more secure even though the band measured slightly larger.

On a whim, I decided to size up to 30DD and see if it fits better, since I was able to troubleshoot an odd cup shape in the B.tempt'd Ciao Bella by sizing up from 30D to 30DD. Will post a separate review on the 30DD once it arrives!
