Another wide push up bra. It works just fine, but wasn't exactly what I was looking for since it was too wide and I didn't size up in the cup, so it was also too small in the cup. The band was very stretchy as well and the straps didn't adjust all the way.
Good fit all over except the top part of the boob and the gore. The inside cup is slightly too big on top while the mesh cover is too tight giving the quad-boob effect.
I didn't love the bra. It fit okay on the inside of the cup with no spillage, but cut into the upper/outside area of my bigger boob and gapped at the top of my smaller boob. Band was super stretchy and felt too big. It was definitely comfortable and would likely work well with shallow boobs. Definitely did not push-up anything.
While this bra looks OK, it doesn't feel right. I like the unusual design and the bright color, but the fit is off. The gore is too wide, causing an "east-west" feeling. This, coupled with a very stretchy band, means there isn't much support to speak of. This bra reminds me very much of the Calvin Klein bras I've tried: springy, stretchy bands and straps, wide cup separation, little support (and no lift). Because of the lack of lift, it makes me look flat, and naturally at my size I don't appreciate that.
On a side note, why did they use dyed-to-match hardware in the back, and metallic in the front?
I like this bra pretty well, but it's not perfect. I wear it without straps under sundresses and low-cut tops, and it does the trick there of keeping me covered without showing. The band technically fits, but it feels a little tight; when I take the bra off there are red marks all the way around. Even so, sometimes I feel like it's slipped just a little and want to sneak away to the bathroom and check. The line at the top of the cup is not a perfect match for my shape, but it's good enough. It angles in just a little too much for my shallow boobs, especially at the sides. On the positive side, the simple, sleek style is very attractive (dh agrees strongly!). I have never had a strapless bra that came even this close to a good fit -- even with its faults it's comfortable and secure enough that I'm going to to try it for a night out dancing. (I'll update this review afterwards.)
As other reviewers have said, it creates a rather pointy shape in front. I have some slight gapping toward the top if I don't swoop and scoop aggressively enough. I also have some slight gapping right on either side of the gore that doesn't go away with swooping and scooping, but it's very minor. The straps are more wide set than I'm used to, but doesn't seem to actually cause any fit issues. The bra gets pretty itchy after wearing it all day.
The band rides up a little on me. I don't have a lot of experience with smaller band sizes as I used to always just stick to the Barely There Invisible Look 34Bs, but when I compare this to the 34Bs I have, the band doesn't feel too different which leads me to think that this fits a little on the loose side for a 30 band. I can close this one all the way, but when I wear my Cleo Lana bra in a size 28D, it feels so tight around my chest that I can barely close it on the first hook. I really like the way the cups fit and don't really see any issues there. It has just the right shape for my boobs which are somewhat shallow and full on top. Other than the slightly loose band, I'm very pretty happy with it.
This bra is very comfortable, but I couldn't even come close to filling out the lace on top. I think most 30Ds would find it difficult. This might be a better fit on someone closer to a 30DD/E or someone who is very full on top.
Great pushup bra if you need some lift. Nice soft fabric and cute lace on back makes it feel girly without over doing it. Also the pushup padding is soft and does squish you like some bras do.
It's hard to fit a small size, wide/shallow cup; this one succeeds on those fronts pretty well, and the cut is what I was looking for to fit particular shirts, so I'm pleased. The seam down the middle of the cup makes it a little pointier than I'd like, but it's not too bad. I can see why some people have complained about the straps; there's some room to expand, but not much. At 5'6", it's enough for me. Might have to destroy with extreme prejudice the bow on the gore, and the lace does show through a thinner shirt (I got "Vanilla ice" which is their closest option to neutral but has white lace), but I think it's a keeper.
Band feels uncomfortably tight, wires dig into sternum, feels like cups need to be wider. Comes with straps that can be added. Lots of padding on the underside of the bra.
Not sure how I feel about this one. I have it set on the tightest hook and while it fits okay I would prefer tighter. Cups fit well after adjusting, fit isnt as great but okay when the boobs settle out a bit. Also when I lift my arms a gap appears between my boobs and the top of the cups. If it came in 28DD I think it would be perfect.
I tried this one on in the dressing room, so I don't have a good long-term feel for it. I have shallow, wide breasts.
I only had two fit issues. The first was that the edge of the cups cut into my breast tissue (no surprise, with shallow breasts). The second was that the "gore" (it's a front-close bra) was too wide. The cups were much too separate for my boobs. Interestingly enough, I think that if the cups were closer together, this bra might work for someone with shallow breasts.
This bra ended up being a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. The cups were smooth. The lacy straps didn't itch or rub anywhere, and adjusted short enough. The racerback fit my back perfectly (didn't lay on my shoulder blades anywhere).
I wish this one had fit, because it would have been a very comfy bra.
Tried this one on in the dressing room, so I don't have a good feel for it, but I can say that this bra is not very good for shallow breasts. The plunge-edge of the cup cut into my breasts, but I didn't come anywhere near filling out the cups themselves.
The straps only adjust half way. On my 4'11" body, it wasn't nearly enough. I had it adjusted as tight as it would go, and I still needed it to go tighter.
Other than fit issues, the bra is a very comfortable and pretty bra. The lace wings are a lovely touch. The straps and cups were free of itchy bits, and everything was very smooth.
This bra is pretty much the exact same fit as my Le Mystere Tisha (955) size 30D, but with much more style and far prettier colors. It gives the same lift but it is much more comfortable; it is made of soft shimmery fabric with lightweight soft foam lining. It is not padded per se, just foam lined to prevent show-through -- all the lift comes from the shape and the fact that the cups are ever so slightly on the shallow side.
As for the band, I really need a 28 (my ribcage currently measures 26 in.) in most bras, but I ...can wear this one on the tightest hook, and I can always take it in if I feel like it. The center front of the band is arched upwards, which helps make the bra more comfortable. The straps are partially adjustable, with rigid "twinned" straps in front.
This bra gives a nice rounded shape but one does lose some projection, as is the case with most t-shirt bras. The quality seems standard. Since it's brand new I can't comment on its longevity.
I love the bright pastel colors that are currently offered in this style. What I'm not so crazy about is the antique colored lace -- it works with the cream, beige, and black colors but not with the pastels. With some contrast colored lace, this bra would be a total knockout. Even so, this bra was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect to like it but I saw it for a great price and took a chance, and I think I'm going to keep it. Read more 175 more words
