    Fits

Fits nicely. Better fit than my 30E black Lucy. I might need to start searching for a 30F in black to replace it. This is my only white bra that I own. Not the most attractive bra ever, but it fits so that's what is important.

    Fits

Great fit but really uncomfortable! My breasts are narrow-rooted, short-rooted, slightly splayed, projected, and FoB. This bra fits my shape better than the 36FF - Cleo ยป Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) . The Marcie had a lot of empty lace at the top that I couldn't fill out. That's not much of a problem with the Lucy; there's only a little extra space under the lace and mostly towards the center. I get a little bit of orange-in-a-glass wrinkling at the bottom, because I could use shorter and more projected cups. But that's very hard to find, and this is close enough to overlook. This ... bra lifts and brings my breasts front and center with a natural but not too pointy shape that makes me feel 10 years younger. It looks fabulous under clothes. The base peachy-pink color is nice but I'm not a fan of the bright orange embroidery. The gore tacks fully and feels firm but not too high. The wires are a good width and don't poke me under the arms at all. The straps are set awfully wide, like with many Cleos, but I can tolerate that. What I can't tolerate is the overall feeling of harshness when I wear this bra. The fabric is scratchy. The wires press the rough narrow seam at the bottom of the cup directly into my flesh. The bottom edge of the gore feels sharp, and the bottom edge of the band feels like it's pinching all around even with an extender. I wish I could stand to wear this bra because it fits well and looks good. But I just can't stand to wear it for more than a few minutes. A wash and soak in fabric softener didn't even help very much. I wish they made a bra with the same cut but softer fabric and smoother seams. Preferably with the straps not set so wide, too.

    • Sometimes things soften with washing? not sure if its worth the risk tho

    • I did wash it, and soaked in fabric softener. That helped a little with the scratchiness but the seams are still really rough.

    • I had a similar experience with the Cleo Juna: probably the best shape match and fit I have ever had in a bra, but so hellishly uncomfortable! :(

    • You could see if the fabric on the Kali is nicer to your skin? Or one of the other sister cut bras.

    • I found the Lucy intolerably itchy too, even though the Marcie and Lily don't bother me. It's unfortunate!! I've never tried the Kali.

    • I loved the shape of the Lucy, but I felt like it was trying to cut me in half. I even tried an extender and bending the wires, but it still gave me cuts where the underwire started to curve away from the gore.

    Didn't fit

I bought this bra through Amazon because currently the only bra that I have that fits is a Cleo Lily 28GG and this was recommended as being the most similar. I have a little bit of gaping at the top of the Lily, and I had the same on the Lucy...but when I brought my shoulders back to kind of smooth that out, it cut in just a little bit near the gore of my larger breast. Even starting in the second set of hooks, this band didn't feel very supportive to me. Sadly, I think this will be a return.

    Didn't fit

I swapped my Deco for this, hoping a 28D Lucy would be a better fit than the 28DD Lucy, maybe even as good a fit as 28D Marcie. It came new with tag, never worn and is definitely a better fit than the Deco was, so I got a good deal in that regard.

The band fits tightly, which I'm very happy about. The cups are a good fit too, but (predictably) not as perfect as Marcie. They wrinkle a bit along the horizontal seam [Edit: when not scooped fully] and I get the slightest bit of quad on my right boob. I'd say it's a bit too closed on top for me. Runs true to size and full on bottom.

I love the purple colour. This bra is close enough to fitting and comfortable enough to be a keeper.

    Edit:
The quadding is less severe when worn with extender. Bras, how do they work?

This bra worked really well for me in sizes up to and including a 32GG but it just doesn't work for me in a 32H or 32HH cup there must be something subtly different in the cut in the larger cup sizes. My boobs start at my collarbone, I think they are average on the top, firm and bottom heavy with lots of projection.

This bra seems to be a bit wider and more shallow than my current best fitting bra Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) . The cups seemed smaller than my other FFs and I got some east-west and quadding. The bra seemed to flatten me since the cup was too small and too shallow for my projected shape.

This was kind of an unplanned deal, since I thought it might be too closed off on top, but then I heard it's more open on top than the CK Bardot, which is only a teeny bit too closed for me, so when I found it half off on eBay I snagged it, despite it being pink... again....

Overall, not too bad! I think it's a bit too deep overall - despite thoroughly scooping & swooping & the wires feeling firmly planted in my IMF there are tiny wrinkles at the bottom, apex, and quite a bit of extra space on my smaller boob. It's not as ... bad on my bigger boob. A 28FF would be too closed off I think, or too small. Plus my boobs are pretty sore and full right now, so it might only be good for one week a month haha.

Band is good, wires are good. Shape is Cleo-Apple, which I love. The mesh/lace is wearable, it kind of itches at the gore. I've worn it all day and nothing is digging or making me want to claw it off, yet. I love love love the shape, and am glad I at least tried it so I could experience the much-hyped roundness and lift Cleo unlineds are supposedly known for. I have 2 unlined bras now, my Bardot and this Lucy, and they both give that perky, held up and in and out shape. I doubt I try any other unlined bras simply because my skin much prefers softer material, but this is a solid bra.

You can pinch the lace at the gore and stitch it down a tiny amount to get rid of the gapping.

    • Funny you mention that, I had thought earlier today I could probably do something with that lace!

Acceptable fit. Band on the tight side. Center gore tacks a bit firmly, and wide-set straps can chafe at armpits. Medium-light support.
Lace and embroidery visible under all but the thickest knit tops.
Very good rounded, forward shape, with decent uplift.

I purchased this used with the knowledge that it may not fit me. I had heard that the top lace section is sometimes too tight and this seems to be the case with me as well, even though I identify with having even fullness. Perhaps the black colour way is smaller slightly? I also found that the wires don't lay flat and I had to bend them inwards at the gore. I also think the gore is too wide for me. I like gores to be less than an inch because I'm close set. I may alter the gore to make it thinner.

I don't mind this bra, even with its faults. My breast feel swollen this week so hopefully it will fit better later during the month.

I've added new, better photos that hopefully have better lighting. This is also fitting better now as well.

This bra fits notably differently than the Kali or the Lori (sister cuts), so if you're expecting the same fit, be ware. This bra is not projected enough for my close set, centre-full, projected breasts. The gore does not quite tack (not that it's a disaster). It's too wide in the gore. It splays my breasts. The band is pushed down because there's not enough lower projection (not a regular occurrence for me). The band is looser than the others (in same size). It's not as supportive - likely because the fit isn't good. Both Lori and Kali are deeper (by about an inch, for size) and narrower fits. I will be returning it.
