And it fits you great and looks pretty! It's such an awesome feeling isn't it? I am 48 and it took me until 47 to get the right size bra. Now I can't get enough...LOL
Ahhh that color is great on you!! Looks good!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry or both. Marcie fits just right in every way and looks good. And now that Cleo is making it in black and nude, they've dropped my size. Marcie is now only available starting at 28E which is much too big. [insert string of profanity here]
Edit: Okay, I should try to review this properly, given that it's currently my favourite bra but also has the least informative review.
My roots are narrow-ish and very tall. My ribcage is on the small side of 28" and my bust is full on top and /relatively/ projected for my size. Take all of the previous ... descriptions with a grain of salt because I'm still learning here.
28D Cleo Marcie in red is basically the perfect bra. It fits like it's painted on. The cups are open enough on top (by which I mean, they are extremely open on top) and the wires follow the edge of my root all the way around. The shape it gives is beautifully rounded (which is impressive, given my size). The colour is a bright bold fire-hydrant red and the fabric is just the right level of sheer. Perfect perfect perfect. /endrave
If you have a 28D Marcie that you're not 110% happy with, pleeeeaaaaase send it to me and I will love you forever! On that note, thank you biesmie for this one.

animated , might be worth a shot
That way you are showing them that the demand is there! I sent a message off because with their new changes I will be in one of their smallest bras, and that's just silly!
at least the Maddie and the Juna are still available in the smallest sizes.
Saskia_C , yeah but neither of those fit me
I'm being sized out of all their bras too, and I actually did send them an email letting them know I'm a disappointed customer. I didn't get a reply. However I am very happy to see that the new Cleo Mimi in lilac is supposed to come out in a 28D and 30C, and I think I'll be able to wear the Koko Muse in 30D.

This is what a bra 4 sizes too big looks like.

Interesting how differently you're reporting this fits on you versus me, given that we have some similar boob factors (high set, I'm borderline Omega-shaped). I wonder if something different happens in the construction of this bra between 30H and 34J.
bustyand That is strange! I've noticed that sister sizes often fit extremely differently, especially with Panache bras. Elomi seems to be a little more consistent, but it's still hard to tell.
Thank you to sincerity for this bra! I've owned and loved several Marcies over the years, and this will be no exception. I'm a little too big for the cups right now because of gaining a couple pounds due to lockdown (and moving in with my wonderful home cook of a boyfriend), but it will probably be perfect once I go back to work and shrink back to my regular size! I had bought this bra in black in a 28FF from someone recently and it seemed to run large, or at least I had a ton of space in the upper cup, which is never a problem for me lol. But in 28F it seems to run similarly to my other Marcies. I'd say the cup volume is slightly smaller than my burgundy Marcie in 28F, but slightly bigger than my Periwinkle Marcie in "30E" (altered to fit like 26FF/28F). Bottom line, I'm looking forward to wearing this eventually and I'm sure it will be a regular part of my rotation!

Yay, I'm glad the Marcie will work out well for you :) The 28FF - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) fits a little bigger in the cups than my previous 28FF Marcies but my larger side is thankful for it, so the swap was a double win!
The Cleo Marcie has become a favorite ever since I got my first one, a Scarlet Red 28FF from Bravissimo in London. Sadly this older model doesn't have the same proportions, as the cup edge is lower and doens't seem to have the same cup depth despite being a sister size. The cups seem too small in general.
Quality wise it's excellent as I always expect from Panache. The band is firm, the cups are firm, nothing seems out of place and all the seams are where they should be.
When it comes to looks the Cleo Marcie is adorable, and this pink one is no exception. I prefer ... the newer styles but this one is still nice. The button in the middle of the gore isn't my thing, it's cute but not as stylish as the slim leopard bow on my red Marcie.
All in all, since this bra doesn't fit it's hard to give a very thorough review, but it's got all the Panache qualities I love. Which includes great quality, looks, design and feel. The fit isn't quite right but ah well.

Do you prefer the taller and deeper cup then? I prefer the lower cup myself.
Wilderness1 Thanks for bringing that to my attention! I have now read the two posts, and I can see the difference. This older model is much shorter in cup height and seemingly depth too compared to my 28FF newer model, like I said. For some reason :P I have yet to completely understand the reasons why there's so many instances of differing fit in the same model. I know the colorway can be a contributing factor as certain fabrics in certain colors behave differently (as I have heard about bras, but I don't know for sure, in bras or otherwise).
Calluna I do indeed! The taller and deeper the cup the better. My breasts are so incredibly round and even in vertical and horizontal perimeter that I need a high apex to contain the breast tissue. When my breasts are on the bigger side I sometimes quad a little in bras like the Cleo Lily and Erin, because of the cup style and height. Therefore, the Panache Jasmine, Freya Soiree high apex and the newer Marcie are my perfect matches. I have one 28G bra and it's the Panache Eclipse from the elusive Panache Black line, and it's got about the same idea of a Cleo Blake but more fabric and a taller cup edge. That's the only bra I have where I don't quad, even just a little bit, no quadding at all! That's when I'm on my bigger size though.
I'd happily swap my black one but the pink's stretched band measurement looks far too small for my 28" (ish) under bust. I need at least 29" stretched.
Although my black is fitting better at the moment a week before my period is due. And I did manage to wear it for a few hours the other night without wanting to rip it off...

I like the fit of this bra however in the 30FF the band seemed more comfortable. I’m not sure if it’s due to the color or size? 30FF is Black and 30G is tangerine. They both fit pretty good except in the 30FF I had a slight in bra quadding where the lace is at but the band was much more comfy. In the 30G it seems like a better fit but the band is not as stretchy. I’m not sure the center gore tacks at the top portion on either sizes but is perfectly fine on the bottom. And it doesn’t poke or bother me in any way whatsoever. I’m not sure if I should try another size or color or just break wait for this to loosen up with day to day wear?!?

I’m going to try that. I originally thought of trying the 28G in black I would of never got a 28G on in the tangerine so I will see if the extender helps!
I'm actually wondering if you could go up a size still? The gore isn't tacking and you have some side-boob excaping. If the extender doesn't solve the tacking issue, maybe you could try a 30GG?
So I did use the extender and yes most definitely helps but I’m starting to think I may still need to size up.
I added a few more pictures with the extender. I will add measurements of this bra shortly.
Yeah I think this is too small still.
My shape: mid-height front-facing teardrop-profile (ski jump with no "jump") with tall shallow roots, low apex, lots of immediate projection underneath but moderate overall projection, wide roots with lots of side fullness and shallow tails that wrap all the way to the shoulder blade, extremely close-set center tissue (possibly a trace of natural symmastia), and very firm self-supporting tissue that when pushed out of shape will push right back.
This review is for the Tangerine colorway I purchased from Zulilly.
Such an interesting and bright color! It's a very saturated orange-pink, like red grapefruit. I'm not sure it's for me, though. The bra is pretty enough, I suppose, but I ... have never really liked the aesthetic of the sheer upper panel with opaque lower ones.
Well, I still haven't found a T-seam cup that works with my shape. The upper cup panel is a too roomy but closes too soon, so if I sized down to a 28FF/30F, I think I'd get faux-quad-boob and still not fill it out. The apex is slightly too high for me, but this isn't necessarily apparent in the photos because the buckling of the vertical seam and the cup fabric shifting down to find more space (due to insufficient immediate projection, or depth at the wire, which I need more of). It looks like there's also not enough depth around the gore, which is not something I usually have issue with, being side-full, and I think might cause lots of center-full ladies some issues. The sides are tall enough to contain all my tissue, but I do like quite tall cups, so others sensitive to armpit chafing should take that with a grain of salt.
There is about 2cm of space in the wire channels, which I used gratefully to push the wires out toward the wings. It makes the gore, which is otherwise slightly too-wide and a bit pokey, float artificially and is much more comfortable. If I were keeping it, I would tack them in place so they can't slide back! They are nice and wide and comfy, too steep for my Nike swooshes but not uncomfortable, and not too hard.
The band is too tight. That's pretty rare! It couldn't ride down out of my IMF because it was so snug, so true 28s or even ladies on the edge of 26, this might work for you!
I've had lots of trouble lately with several of my new bras having scratchy wings. Maybe it's just me, or maybe this one would go away with the first wash, but this one is no exception. Curiously, I don't think it was the tag, though, so I'm not sure removing it would help.
Dear Cleo, please teach Freya how to position their straps. These are great! Not in my armpits is always nice.
This one is getting listed.

Basic all black version of Cleos unpadded classic with the amazingly round shape.
I've grown a little bigger lately so I ordered this bra in both a 30FF and 30F - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831). When I tried the raspberry version of the 30FF three years ago it was definetely too big and the upper lace was gaping. This time around while the black 30F technically fits the 30FF does as well, even the upper lace is laying perfectly flat which can be a problem in the Marcie with FoB breast.
As this bra was a perfect match for my boobs on those bigger days, the uplift not compomised and the wire width perfectly wearable I decided to go with the 30FF and enjoy the extra comfort that goes along with the roomier cups.

This bra is very comfortable (and super cute!). I'll be trying a 28 to see if the fit of the band would be better. This is currently my best fitting bra!

Scarl3tt3 thanks! I think that I am borderline evenly full but with the tendency to be more fob than fot, though as I have fairly soft and malleable tissue, sometimes my boobs act differently depending on the bra. They’re tricky little bastard boobs sometimes. Which makers me feel like I should go for it in the 30F instead of 30E. Agree with lcl0706 that perhaps it’s not quite the fob/fot diagnostic bra that it’s reputation says it is.
It looks very nice on you!
Stupid question: is it the black version?
I just order the black one in a band size larger since I was expecting it to fit tighter then the other colorways.
aboobaccount Not at all! This one was actually the navy color. The black doesn't have any color accents IIRC. :)
I'm actually looking at the navy one too. Though I love the bluebell.
My navy 30F is on the way!
Thank you to jlcl119 for selling me this bra! I've owned Marcie before, but not for a few years. It's even better than I remembered! It's super comfy, the gore doesn't bother me like Hettie's does, and I only get mild in-cup quadding on one side which is barely noticeable. I just wore it for a 5 hour waitressing shift and I felt supported and contained the whole time. It gives me a nice round shape under clothing, as is expected from Marcie. This burgundy colourway is beautiful, and I think the cute cream bows with burgundy pin dots brings the whole thing together. I also received two matching briefs, but I'll have to wait and see how I feel about them. I tried them on and they fit well, but they give me major VPL and cut into my glutes like crazy. This is always a problem I have, so I won't be wearing them with any tight-fitting clothing. I could probably make do with wearing them under skirts and dresses that are more A-line.

Brash5 And thank you as well, Brash! I agree, it is very flattering.
Great review! Nice to hear about the wires not bothering you! Yeah!! Looks nice on you too! I have a silly question....What is in-cup quadding? I have heard that term before but couldn't figure it out. Thanks!
Denise5 Not a silly question at all! In-cup quadding happens for me when the tension of the diagonal seam is tighter than the cup's fabric above and beneath the seam, or when the upper fabric (usually stretch lace) is stretchier or looser than the lower fabric, which results in my breast tissue protruding a little bit past the seam. It can create the illusion of quad-boob under clothing when in fact the cups may be the correct volume.
sherrach898 Oh!!! Got it!!! Thanks for the explanation!!!!
Denise5 No problem! Glad I could help :)
Beautiful!!
