Ordered this because I know to size up a cup from my 30G in Fantasie/Freya when going to Panache/Cleo/Harlequin, and they don't do GG cups in Cleo/Harlequin. Figured if it fit decently on the tightest hook I'd take it to my seamstress to take in the wings, because I just loved the print.
Unfortunately, there's absolutely no way for me to make this fit. The straps seem to want to be a good 2 inches farther to either side than my shoulders. When I drag them up onto my shoulders, the cup gets very odd, with spillage although there's no quad-boob effect. When I hold them out to the ...sides, where the line of the strap and cup naturally falls, the top edge of the padded segment cuts in a bit, while the lace can't be filled completely (most likely the latter is due to the fact that my breasts fail to continue out to the strap, i.e. past my body). The wires come up into my armpits more than I'd like, and I think they would chafe a bit if I could actually wear it.
Although the print is cute, it's just that: a print, and the fabric seems very thin and cheap. Whatever they used for it, it's a single layer in the back/wings, and I feel like it wouldn't be very supportive, and you could easily go down a band size if you wanted to own this. For me, this would mean I'd need a 28H (with any luck, the straps wouldn't be falling off my shoulders then), but although it does go down to a 28 band, it only goes up to a G cup.
Ordered it off of figleaves and sending it back, but I though I'd make the order useful and add the measurements anyways! Unfortunately, I can't say if it streches out or supports well, for obvious reasons.
It is absolutely gorgeous, cherry red but black dots on sheer material. The shape is a bit odd, quite pointy, and, above all, is way too small for me (hence sending it back). Back is big but not as much as the Panache I am sending back (adding this one soon) and could do on the tighest hook. Too bad they don't make it in GG. Padded, fabric is soft but synthetic-feeling (as in, not as soft as a cotton lace bra).
The technical brand name for this is Cleo By Panache, whatever that means. Did Panache buy out Cleo? Did Cleo subcontract from Panache?
Either way, I got this bra on a grab bag sale and while I was surprised that a Panache bra fit, I wouldn't have bought it full price. The band is stretchy: it fits tightly for now, but I can't help but feel that it would wear out quickly. The plunge wires are very low, to the point that they dug into the flesh just under my sternum. I didn't wear the bra for weeks because of this, but I just wore it all day today and it was fine. It's ok unless the bra shifts, allowing the wires to dig. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to prevent this.
Support-wise, it's fine. The polkadots are great. And it cost $12.50, that's a plus too.

Gorgeous bra, but cups run really small. I'm 30D in another brand and expected to fit in a 28DD or 28E. Returning both and ordering a 28F. This one fit my smaller breast ok, but created a bulge in my slightly larger breast. Sizing up a cup size should fit well.
The fit is more aware of my weight fluctuations than most of my bras. Some days it fits excellent; days small breast cup ruffles on top edge and days its very snug with wires pressing into chest. However, it handles my projection well without the wires being too long, too wide down the sides or too far into armpit. The sides of the cup is more where I am aware of the bra than anywhere else. The side panel to bring you forward needs to be less into my arm/armpit as I high breasted. It is pretty, fun, projects and lifts well and nothing ever jiggles.
Closest I've found to a bra that fits so far... slightly too high under the arms (but not cutting into breast tissue), need a good swoop and scoop to fill the cups and get occasional gapping during the day if lots of movement, but to be expected with soft boobs and moulded cups. Gets a little uncomfortable towards the end of the day, but still breaking it in so expect to be fine soon - was the same with the other colour.
this was one of my wishlisted bras! i was so lucky to find it on mercari, simply named "Bra" and tagged victoria's secret... i'm still in disbelief i found one!
onto the actual review... which will be pretty short tbh! the bra is sooooo beautiful, and it's bras like these that make me wish they could be shown off in public rather than be undergarments...! it fit me relatively well, although being on the cusp of a 30 band and with 5 hooks, i can't put it on by myself LOL! the band isn't suffocating and feels rather comfortable. however, it did flip/roll up in the front throughout the day, probably due to my belly when bending and sitting. that was uncomfortable. i also have minor quadboob on my bigger boob.
i feel longline bras aren't for me, unfortunate because i love the look of them so much. the first longline bra i had was sensory hell (too long to explain why) and this one just doesn't agree with my belly haha.
this bra's tag lists it as a 32H US/UK, but judging by fit, it looks to be a UK 32H : (
while it fits in almost every other way, being one cup too big i do have gapping/wrinkling at the very top of the cup. i'm still going to keep this bra as it's comfortable and when i wear it under shirts, the gapping is flattened/not noticeable.
the pink is a lovely color and i love the heart details on the lace! and being too big, this is the first time in a while my nips don't show through the lace/sheer part of the cup lol (i should've taken this hint a while ago with my 32ffs that they were getting too small, but i only realized it recently.)
overall, the quality seems great (although the wires are a bit squeaky when i put the bra on), it's very comfortable as it basically disappears when i'm wearing it throughout the day, and the appearance is very cute, i love it!
Despite what Bratabase says, I consider this bra to fit really well, especially for something that's molded. It's not perfect but quite literally everything is on point except the bottom of the cup, which doesn't impact the support I get at all.
This bra is really surprisingly comfortable- like I'm having a hard time not wearing it everyday. It's become one of my favorites! Since I don't usually like the feeling of my boobs being squished together, I was a little afraid the lack of separation would become bothersome after a while but actually its a nice change from wires often sitting on my breast tissue or stabbing into ...it when I lie down. (I have less of a pinky's width between my breasts, I think making a high gore that'd accommodate that is physically impossible.) Despite having soft tissue, I haven't experienced a crazy amount of spillage. If there's any, its pretty well hidden by my clothes. Unlike my Panache bras, this one has fully adjustable straps! Yay! Adjusting them to the right length makes the underarm comes up higher than I'd like, although I can probably find a way to alter that.
The color beige isn't really a beige to me, it's a really lovely shade of soft pink as opposed to the yellow-ey tones you often get in other beige bras. The little ring on the center is a nice touch, and it doesn't seem to cause any discoloration like a similar charm I had on a CK bra. Read more 141 more words
This bra ALMOST fits perfectly. The wires are too wide, so they don’t sit where the root of my breast is (on the side) There’s also a little gapping where my breast meets my chest
The wire is too wide, it does too far back under my arm. And the cups are slightly too deep. When I press around the center of the bra while it’s on, my breasts fill out the shape and they appear to fit much better.
I have narrow root breasts, which are close set, full on bottom and have very soft tissue. This bra is, for me, incredibly comfortable and I would happily wear it every day. However... it is not very supportive, and I will start to fall out of it if I'm not wearing a top with some negative ease/compression. Amazing with certain outfits, or as a home bra. The wires are a bit wide, but unlike most other bras with this problem, these ones don't seem to dig in.
As usual with Cleo, band is quite loose compared to say Freya and Curvy Kate where I will need a 32 to even do the band up - this one is immediately comfortable at a 30 and after a few of wears could go to a tighter hook.
I got this bra second-hand. I'm thrilled to try it since the Marcie has been discontinued.
The lace is floppy on my smaller side but it doesn't show through under clothes. I’ll likely place a small dart on that side eventually.
It’s comfortable and supportive, just like my Cleo Blossoms.
I’ll hand-wash & air-dry it, then return to measure it.
Edit: I returned to measure after wearing, washing, & air drying. It’s late, but I wanted to add that I love this bra - as in, my heart is fluttering “love” 💕. I am happy Cleo continues making 28FF - Cleo » Blossom (10581’) & other styles.
another blossom for my collection in taupe. it's a good skin tone bra for me. fit is great as per - this seems to fit about the same as jade. the tag on this said panache instead of cleo, funnily enough.
blossom is great! lifts my boobs front and center, good projection for me, wires are a good width.
my main issue is the gore is a tad painful on my sternum. hopefully this will chill as it stretches out. since the cup pushes everything to the center, the gore is also a bit wide for my close set boobs, but this was always going to happen.
i'm pleased in general though and going to hopefully get some more marcie/blossoms in 28F ^_^
Band and cup fit well, but straps were too far apart and while the cup was great in terms of width - nothing escaping out the side - the height of the cup where it meets the strap meant it was digging in under my arms.
Liked the way my boobs looked in the bra, but under clothes it made the outer sides of my boobs come out past my arms so made me look bigger than I am.
Passed band test and cups good distance apart for me, but wires far too narrow - cut into boobs near armpit. CUP size too small for me, no quadding but at least a quarter of each boob was escaping out the sides.
Made boobs look a strange shape looking down, but shape looked ok from front and side.
