It was difficult filling out the "how it fits"-bit, because, I have slightly assymetrical breasts, nothing you normally notice, and usually I can just tighten one strap a bit more, and there is no problem. But the upper section of this Olivia seemed to be unaffected at however I put the straps - the cups a bit small on my larger breast, and a bit loose on my smaller breast, and even when I had one strap loosened all the way, and the other tightened all the way, it made no difference. So for the large breast, the fit should have been set at: Can adjust straps loose ...enough, quad-boob effect. And on the smaller: Can adjust straps short enough, slight wrinkling at the top of the cup. This bra is not perfect for me, but pretty damn close. I don't want my boobs to be wider than my body at all, and this does it slightly, meaning they are less in front: I prefer that they literally go out in a 90degree angle from the center. Also, the band should be wider at the sides, and the wire should go up higher. Read more 85 more words
I never thought I would buy a unlined bra, but this was too lovely to pass up. The band is a bit tight to start with but I think once I've worn it for a bit it will loosen up. It was coming up short in the underarm and I was getting some bulging but that was fixed once I moved the underwire in the channel more towards the underarm. The straps are fully adjustable.
I have this bra in a size 28GG (also in yellow, and neon green), but sometimes I get a little double-bubble, quad-boob when I’m feeling a little on the heavier side due to period weight. This size, 28H, has a wire that is too wide for me, and the sides of the cup come up on the front of my armpits a bit. However I do find the projection is good and the cup fully encases my breast with the exception of the space on the side between where my breast actually ends and where the wire sits. The band on this bra also rides up on the tightest hooks, a problem I also have with the 28GG, but just not as bad. I’m still on the fence if I’m going to keep it or not.

Having fallen in love with Sasha and Alexa I knew I had to have Olivia the second I spotted her on Bravissimo. My only question was a matter of "in what size?" I knew the current SS12 Alexa ran a bit bigger in the cup than her predecessor AW11's Sasha. When I contacted Bravissimo the response was ...she fit exactly the same as Alexa. However after trying on the 28GG several times I found the same hesitance I remembered with Sasha last Autumn. It was a dilemma between cup sizes. I finally received a 28H and although the 28GG and 28H both fit I am much more comfortable in the H-cup because I'm more confident I'm safely covered from any potential spillage which may lead to readjusting throughout a day's wear.
I wish I'd originally took Alexa in a 28GG because her band is not as tight but at the time I would never have thought I could be a 28-band so I never considered ordering.
30G fit well while 28GG is much more snug. These fit me exactly the same in the cup the only difference is in the band. 30G also fits nice although I would anticipate it to stretch out like my original 30G Alexa which has pretty quickly and only snaps back from washing (after one or two wears in a row). The 28H is the best for me as it fits just like my original 30GG Sasha and now a 28H as well.
Also, I'd be happy to have a drawer full of non-pink bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

This was the second bra in a 2-bra grab bag. I had requested this style because it had almost worked for me in the past in another size/color. I didn't expect to like this bra because the pattern is so far from what I'm usually drawn to, but somehow it managed to charm me. The pink, while prominent, is balanced very nicely by the black, light blue, white and grey. From a distance, the pattern is almost floral, although up close it is strikingly geometric.
In this size the bra is quite comfortable, with none of the poking wires and painful straps that had so ...plagued me when I tried this style previously in the wrong size. I get no spillage out of the top or sides, the straps stay put but don't dig in, and the band is nice and firm. The shape is very round from every direction and I feel very supported all around. The center gore comes up quite high on my chest, higher than I am used to, so that may be a problem for some people. Fortunately, the center gore is very narrow towards the top, so even my close-set boobs aren't too bothered.
One thing that may bother/bewilder some people is that when I tried this style previously in a too-large band and too-small cups, the lace along the tops of the cups lay flat against my breasts, while in the correct size, the lace sticks out. Strange, but true. Fortunately, it's a simple fix if you're handy with a needle & thread. And if not, the lace is not visible under heavier fabric (such as t-shirt jersey) and the bra is way too colorful to be worn under anything thinner!
EDIT: After wearing this bra for a few hours, I think that a 32GG would be a better fit for me. This bra runs very true to size, so on my 32 inch ribcage it's a bit too loose and I have to adjust every few hours. Other than that, I pronounce this bra a marvelous success! Read more 249 more words
(This is my first bra since losing a few pounds which must have been completely breast weight)
This is my first bra at this new size, and it fits great. It supports my breasts and gives a sexy cleavage that is more subtle than two breasts mashed together in a fake bum sort of look.
There is no gap at the top of the bra, even when I lay down or or lean forward. (My smaller breast has a bit of a gap, but a small insert pad will hopefully fix this.) The top of the bra lays flat against my breast, with no quad boob (at least right ...out of the bag, and it doesn't appear quad boob will develop during the day by falling out or settling).
This bra is very comfortable. It doesn't dig in anywhere and I don't feel the need to bend the underwires at all.
The underwire encompasses my breast fully and doesn't go too far around my side either.
The band is a little loose, but after reading on here that people thought it was a tight band, I think I really just need the equivalent of a 26 band. I wanted to fasten it on the middle or tightest hook immediately, but I will leave it on the loosest and see how much it rides up sp that I don't stretch it out too fast.
It is really nice having a bra that properly fits again (well, fits the one boob properly. But that's my best option for now). I'm still quite surprised how a five pound weight loss translates to a 2-3 cup down size. Read more 165 more words

So pleased to say that the fit is the same between AW11's Sadie and SS12's Rihanna even though I bought the newer one first. See Rihanna 28h review here: (http://bra.pe/ReC/).
As usual with padded or even lightly-lined bras I am a size larger in the cups. Whereas my typical size measures a ...30g I'm then about a 30gg. I find most Cleo's a bit stretchier in the band so I find the equivalent in a 28h, the smaller "sister size". It's quite surprisingly to be once again at the end of a size range. It's difficult to hold my tongue and instead refrain from insisting a friend with a larger bust try it when I realize that it is basically would size her out. Instead, I like to focus on the fact that sharing the information with loads of other women about how the sizing runs may save some from the trouble of many exchange orders had they not known otherwise.
Just as with the Rihanna we have another great rounded shape, good lift, and firm back size. I will be wearing with an extender for a while so it's more comfy until the band stretches just a bit.

Updated on Jul 26, 2012: I was about to update this about 3 days ago... Less than a month later the band has appropriately stretched out enough so an extender is completely unnecessary and I'm comfortably wearing on the first hooks. This is definitely an "everyday bra" I would say I wear on average 1-3 times per week (depending on outfits) and handwashed after 1-2 wears!

Thanks to Bratabase members I am now aware of the "George/Lizzie/Eleanor/Alexa/Sasha Family" bras which all carry a ...similar shape. I can't believe I'm a year behind on Eleanor! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Last year I was dying over Bravissimo's Exclusive Green and Purple versions but didn't believe the bra would fit me properly because of bad luck with Cleo's Jude (http://bra.pe/ROx/) and Alex (http://bra.pe/RHr/). I had nearly given up on most soft cups giving me a nicely rounded shape but thank goodness for Cleo balconette's! Wonderfully soft material in a lovely bright red shade. So far this bra is a bit tight in the 28 band but as I've experienced with my other Cleo's the 30 tends to wear out fast in just a few months and I am left feeling like I should have sized down. I plan on wearing this with a red extender (so it doesn't easily show) for a while until the bra really stretches so I can "normally" wear it on the first or second hook. This is definitely a test!!
This bra is super cute, but unfortunately it's too small for me! It was the first bra I bought after realizing I'd been incorrectly fitted using the +4 method for years, so it was a close estimate, off by one cup size. Unfortunately, I couldn't return it or exchange for a different size because I ripped it a little on accident. Anyway, here's what I think about it.
-The print is SUPER CUTE! Before my current bra fitting knowledge, the only colors I ever found in my [wrong 32DD] size [in America] were nude, white, and maybe black or ugly light greyish pink if I was lucky. I was ...thrilled that the Ellie had such a cute, colorful, and most important to me, youthful print.
-The center gore comes up too high for my shape. Although this particular bra was the wrong size, I still suspect the correct size wouldn't help much with this. My boobs are very close together, to the point of there being literally no space at all between them, so the high center gore gave me some bruising (and I doubt that level of irritation would improve by going up a cup size).
-The overall shape is great. It's nice and rounded, with a moderate amount of lift (as in lifting the boobs off the ribcage!). It's also very front-facing, none of the dreaded east-west effect happening.
I would probably try buying this bra again just for the shape and print if it wasn't for the high center gore. I wish I could buy it, but I just don't see it being comfortable for the middle of my chest. I wouldn't recommend this bra for close-together boobs, but I would recommend it for full-on-top because the top hardly cut in at all despite it being a cup size too small for my full-on-top boobs. It's possibly the cutest bra I've ever owned. I love how the colours are slightly different on every bra which makes each one unique. The only thing I don't like about the design is the shade of yellow, one of my least favourite colors.
The Ellie is often described as a balconnette bra, but technically speaking it's more of a half-cup, designed really well, giving my boobs great uplift and wonderful round shape.
I totally fell in love with the fabric, on the outside and on the inside. It's so soft, nothing scratches me, nothing pokes me, it feels so good! The band seems a bit stretchy though, I'm not ...sure how long will it work well. The two-hook fastening also worries me a bit. It works well now, but after days and days of lifting my boobs?
I've heard that Cleo bras have narrower underwires than the other Panache branches'. Well, it doesn't work for this bra. The reason is clear: the underwires are long, therefore the outer ends are shaped the way that may prevent it from poking our underarms. It doesn't work for me, so I'll have to reshape it somehow, because I really want to keep this bra.
The straps aren't fully adjustable, it may be a problem for taller girls. I find it comfortable enough. Read more 110 more words
This is a really nice and goodfitting bra and the longline style offer a lot of support. It is really pretty and the cups are comfortable and true to size, compared with the longline styles from Freya are the cups on the bigger side (I own the Nieve longline bra from Freya in a 30FF). The band is also true to size and nice and firm in a 32 (I often wear a size 30). It gives a nice shape and only a little cleavage that I like, because I planning to use it as a bralet/top on festivals in the summer. You can´t see the longline when you wear clothes, and it definitely underlines the figure and avoid lumps. Compared with the Nieve longline bra from Freya, this has plastic bones in the sides, so it doesn´t “roll up” through wearing.
(The picture with the side shot shows a tendency to overspill, but I first noticed when I uploaded the picture, this isn´t how it normally sits)
I have this bra in a 30G as well. I noticed that my 30G was getting a little tight depending on the time of month or how I was carrying my weight on any given day. So I found a 30GG for a good price and picked it up to try out the differences.
While the GG fits better on days when I am carrying more weight in my chest, there does seem to be a little extra room in the cups along horizontal seem under the embroidery. It's not enough to render the bra useless, but it is there.
It also seems like the GG has significantly more fabric overall than the G. Maybe it's just one size vs the other on my shorter frame.
Overall, I like having this around as a second option on days when I'm feeling a little heavy in the boobs. Plus it's pretty and gives a nice round, lifted shape. Maybe I just need a G and a 1/2 though.
I've wanted a lonline for so long! Initially found it ridiculously difficult to do up, but with practice is now fine. Cups fit perfectly, however the lace on the cups doesn't quite sit flat, a problem I've had with the Juno bra too. I do have to shorten the straps significantly to get any cleavage at all, or to fill the slight empty space at the top of the cups. I don't know if sizing down would have helped, couldn't try the GG in this one. The underwires on this one come up really high under my arms and rub throughout the day, tried loosening the straps but it didn't ...help, so again, maybe size down would have been better. The straps are a little far apart, but nothing major. The band sits firm, and is very supportive, however as my tummy is bigger than my underbust, it does curl up when I sit down, which can be a bother constantly fixing it. BUT, the nipped in shape is fantastic under clothes! It looks like it's cutting in, but because of my size, it's just tummy bulges, easily hidden by highwaisted skirts or shapewear. Overall, while not an everyday bra, I do love this one for when I want a nipped in look. The shape is nice and round, despite having one vertical seam. Probably fits better on slimmer people who won't have the cutting in effect, but I do really like this bra. Read more 133 more words
I love this bra, colour is fantastic and it feels very light. The cups are soft and comfortable, but I do find as my boobs settle throughout the day there is some wrinkling at the top. I tried the GG but the wires were too narrow and cups definitely too small, so I think it's more my full on bottom shape than the size. The wires do run very high under the arms and were quite painful for the first few wears but have softened off after a few washes and are ok now. The band is a bit loose compared to my deco and other cleo bras, but ...not enough to size down, just something to be aware of. The shape is incredible, worth putting up with a few minor discomforts. For an unpadded bra, it lifts and rounds like nothing else! It's not the same as a padded or moulded bra, but is wonderful for days when I want something a bit lighter. Highly recommend this bra, but be aware of the high wires and slightly loose band. Read more 72 more words
See my review for the Cleo Jude, 28D, in Hawaiian Blue/Pink, here: http://bra.pe/R8y/
This entry is pretty much just to add measurements for the Petrol/Magenta, which I also own, and which is from a different season.
A summary of my earlier review: This bra is for wide, shallow breasts. It fills essentially the same role as the Freya Deco, but for a different boob shape. It is fast-closing and not friendly for full-on-top breasts. It is a good-quality bra that has all you'd expect from a basic t-shirt bra, is comfortable, and comes in a variety of colors. If you're on the bigger end of your cup size, size up.
This bra is available 28-38 D-G. Cleo's current season I find fitting more consistently true to G-cup in size than previously. See: Lucy SS12-Yellow 30G (http://bra.pe/R4D/) and Alexa 30G (http://bra.pe/R2w/).
My anticipated size 30G was out of stock so I decided to play with the sizing a bit and see if anything else might work well. Based on one review I thought instead of the cup fitting well that it might even be a bit larger so maybe one size down could work.
The 30FF band is nice and ...fitted but the cup is just a bit smaller and seems a true FF. 32FF is nearly a perfect bra save the fact I went straight away to the last hook. And based on all my research as well as personal experience Cleo bras are known for being stretchy. Sasha (http://bra.pe/S1A/) stretched out to the final hook in 6 months! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> 32G is of course too big in the band for me although the cup is okay if just a tiny bit wider than necessary. I wouldn't say it is uncomfortable. If it were made in a slightly smaller equivalent of say 30GG I would likely be hard-pressed to decide between a 30G and imaginary-30GG in this style. It covers more on top, for sure.
Side wings are actually quite low and remain a pretty perfect and comfortable height throughout all three bra sizes. Cups give a beautiful rounded shape on all three. Straps are the same exact width at 1.6cm. The only small difference I found between the three was the 30FF gore width is about .2cm wider, very negligible but worthy of pointing out.
Although highly likely to be too-small-in-the-cup I wish I could find a 30G and 28G ("sister" to 30FF) for comparison. I hope to find at least find a brand new 30G and hope it fits the best. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This is a pretty bra with foam padding. It seems to put your breasts more towards the front.
The top of the bra doesn't cut into my breast tissue, but I do spill over the top, and this is far more noticeable in a shirt than with just the bra.
The band also feels a little loose, as though I would want to wear it on the second or possibly third hook. I feel like the bra "rides lower" on my body than other bras.
There is nothing uncomfortable about this bra (except it doesn't fit... but nothing pokes).
I plan to return this bra (it came in an order, I'm trying it on...)
