This bra fits me beautifully but because it's in my sister size, there are some problems with the band (too big). The center gore floats away from my chest slightly when I bend forward, and I have to wear it on tightest hooks. 34DDD/E would have been much better if it was available.
This is a nice quality bra but does not fit me. I have been actively losing weight, so I bought this when I ordered some other bras. I havnt ever bought bras this size and forgot that, the US and UK sizes would be equal in this. I think it was listed as a 30D US, which I thought it would be bigger because I wasn't really thinking. Unfortunately it is too small for me even with my recent weight loss. Last I knew I was a 28FF. The band Is slightly larger than I need because I need firm 28 band, but it's not way too big. ...
This is a cute simple moulded underwire plunge bra. I have the same bra in a larger size and I have really liked it. I had been eyeing it because I have always liked plunge styled bras even though moulded bras are not always ideal for me. The bra is black, with a little a polka dotted bow on the front gore. There is a sturdy hook on the straps so it can be connected in the back but I don't find it super comfortable. (I could probably make it more comfortable if I played around around it more.) There are 4 rows of 2 clasps to adjust in the back.. There is no push up, which is fine. The cups are not too wide in my Cleo bras which I prefer on my petite frame. I will probably rehome this because I think this will always be too small, but I know someone will appreciate it. Read more 157 more words
I rehomed this bra to my littlest sister when she came over to my house yesterday. She told me she only had 1 ill fitting old secondhand VS bra with only ONE row of hooks that was so stretched out. She tried on this 30D Cleo bra I had bought accidentally, and another bra that's a 60H that fit her so much better! This comment may sound like a humble brag but it just was so awesome seeing how much more comfortable and confident she was. She thought she was a 34B or C and was wearing an old 32D. I sent her ABTF calculator and reddit (i only quickly measured her over clothing) and Bratabase and some other links to check out later.
About me: 26FF/G, medium projection, even fullness, short roots, close set, average width.
Recently my boobs have changed shape from very FOB and projected to even fullness with wider roots - I didn't even know this was possible. But I'm looking for a seamless t-shirt bra works with this shape because my wacoal is getting quadding on the top/center area. Unfortunately, it didn't work out!
The construction: The cups, band and elastic are super smooth, very nice feeling material. The only not so nice part about this bra is the strap material. They are skinny and kind of sharp along the edges. The foam in the cups is quite thick ...and firm, not soft or elastic. Very opposite of Comexim which I am used to now. They are the type of cups that snap back into shape with an audible pop if you press them. It's not necessarily a good or bad thing, just different.
The fit: This bra only fits me as a strapless 😅 If I put on the bra and leave the straps hanging, it's not so bad! If I put on the straps, they are so wide set that if they go vertically up, they are off my shoulders. I have to angle them sharply inwards in to sit on my shoulders, causing the strap to rotate and warp the cup, causing gapping. Other than that: the band runs small, stretching to 27" which fits me well (might be because this is a black bra), the cup depth and height are good, and the gore is too wide, causing the wires to sit on my boobs and cause gapping (but if the bra had otherwise fit I'd be ok overlapping the gore myself). I had zero expectations that this bra would fit at all, and in fact, it turned out to be one of the best I've found so far! The cups fit almost perfectly...there is some very slight gaping at the top stretch lace, but not enough to be a dealbreaker for me. The band is quite snug, so I think I'll try it with an extender for a bit until it breaks in a bit more. The most exciting part is that the bottom of the cups are the best fit I've found so far! No wrinkling at all, and the wire does not budge from my IMF! Wow! For that reason alone I think it's a keeper.
Immediate depth, shorter cup, great for even projection, doesn't hate my sideboob
Took the entire cup apart, removed vertical length from inner cup at underwire. Removed little vertical length from outer cup where it joins the upper hem. Realligned the upper panel so it doesn't act weird on my big ole flattycakes
Della's aight. I wish it was any fabric but this sad mesh, tho it's not bad for summer.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
cup shortened in 2 different places
ORIGINAL REVIEW AND PICTURES (April 2019): I have a 33" snug underbust, so sometimes prefer a 32 and sometimes a 34. I wasn't able to find a 32FF in this bra, but I'm happy with the 34F. It fits well. The band is quite firm which allows the 34 to work for me.
Most excitingly, this is the best T-shirt bra I have found for my breast shape. While most T-shirt bras do not have enough projection at the wire, the Cleo Maddie actually does. In fact, it has a beautiful shape that complements my body nicely. I expected the lace at the top of the cup to show ...through shirts, but it doesn't seem to. I think the lace hides under shirts better than a smooth cup because there is a softer transition between bra and breast. Having said that, molded cups do not move with the body as well as sewed cups do. This bra is no exception to that, so it does gape a little when I move my arms around. That doesn't bother me, but it may bother someone else. I think this is exasperated by the wide set of the straps. If I let them go straight up, they would sit over my armpit. However, I haven't had any trouble pulling them into the correct place on my shoulder. The straps are pretty firm elastic, so they stay where you put them. The only downside is this makes the gaping where the strap meets the cup a little worse.
Anyway, I'm happy to have found this bra. I haven't had it long enough to know how it holds up over time, but it seems to be built well.
UPDATE (November 2021): This was absolutely my go-to bra for the past two years. It fit me well and held up to regular wear, so I am sad that it no longer fits. Why doesn't it fit? I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and have gained some breast tissue. My current measurements put me into a 34G or 34GG. My breasts no longer fit the shape of this bra well. Instead, they push the underwire down in an effort to get more space in the cup. This means the wire is ~1.5" below my IMF and creates a crease in the bottom of the cup. Additionally, there is significant quadding at the top of both cups. The gore floats about 1" off my sternum. Overall, the bra feels tight despite the band being the correct size (because there isn't enough space in the cups. The worst part for me is that the bra has been discontinued for a long time so I can't even try the correct size for my current measurements. I'll be very sad if I can never have my "holy grail" bra back. Read more 357 more words
Odd fit on me for a Panache brand. The straps are still too wide, but the bra doesn't shift down like other Panaches do on me. the fabric is a light mesh which does have a slightly scratchy feel to it. The top of the cups have a pretty diamond-pattern soft lace, but it's not stretchy. I can usually fit this size in most bras, but this one fans out on the top of the cup, and the gore won't tack. If I push the gore down, the cups start to fit better, but it won't stay where it needs to.
I miss the extended longline of Cleo's old Piper bra. This is cute, but not quite the same effect. Fit feels true to size all around, and the fabrics are soft against the skin.
Really lovely bralette! There's an inner structure which is basically like a 3-part balcony bra minus the wires, with a crop top overlay. The wings are very small and the straps are extremely wide set, however when clipped in racerback with the j-hook it feels really comfortable which makes me think this is the primary way it was designed to be worn. The 28G band measures 27 inches stretched and is super firm; I have since repurchased the new Navy colourway in 28GG which feel more true to size.
I adore the look of this bra but sadly the fit isn't quite right. I've since gone up a cup size so this definitely doesn't fit any longer, hence no photos, but I've based this review on when it *did* technically fit. The band is great, stretchy enough to fit comfortably without cutting in and not too stretchy that it offers no support. The cup feels extremely wide and shallow, which I guess helps give such amazing cleavage but did mean I found it slipping down a fair bit during the day as my bust pushed it down. Even when I was a 28G this cut in slightly along the neckline of the foam padding, which was easily disguised by the stretchy lace overlay. The width of the cups is an issue too - the wires aren't bothersome at all but there's a lot of empty space at the side. I feel like if they'd used a narrower width of wire the fit would be SO much better. A real shame, as I love everything else about this style!
I love this bra. A moulded plunge is my first choice of bra style, despite how tricky they can be to fit. This works really well for me both with and without the j-hook clipped, giving good projection as far as moulded cups tend to go and really boosting my cleavage without adding extra volume. The fabrics are all really soft on the skin, too - especially the elastics on the back band. I really like the deep brown of the AW21 Toffee colourway - I'm not sure if this was introduced as a move to be more inclusive with their skin tone offering or if it's just because neutrals and browns are trending right now; either way, it's a great colour and has a nice, deep tone to it rather than feeling ashy like some brown shades can.
I'm projected, closet-set, more full on bottom than not, and this just wasn't the bra for me. It was comfortable material-wise, but just all around the wrong shape for me.
The color is Olive with pink lace edging. Very cute. In my opinion, the band on this fits tight and isn't very stretchy. It also runs small - my ribcage measures 31" so I started with a 32, but it was way too tight. Even going up one size in the band, but not in the cup, it is a pretty but not comfortable bra. Shall see how it holds up comfortwise after a few washes.
