This bra fits almost perfectly. I think it looks great on and I love the colorway. My only complaint is the top of the gore dug into my sternum, which irritated a little, but now that I've worn it a few times that sensation went away.
This is my first unlined bra since I nursed my son seven years ago. I honestly didn’t expect much in terms of fit when I ordered it and just assumed it would be the first in a long string of returns. I was pleasantly surprised to find I not only completely fill the cups, but that I like the way it looks on me. I’ll definitely be trying this is another couple of sizes to see if that fixes my band size issue.
Oh Cleo Juna how I just wish you would fit... I love the look of this bra, but I know it's a bit too shallow for me. But, I wear it anyway becasue I love it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The band has lots of stretch it seems, as I can wear it on the tightest hook straight away, although this was not reflected when I took the bra measurements? It is molded, but the molding is soft and comfortable and gives a nice rounded shape. One of my favorites despite being a bit too shallow.
This is definitely a cute Cleo style bra. It didn't fit me as well as my other Cleo bras, though, as the gore floats and the cups seem a little small. The band rides up too.
The purple/orange and white polka dots is definitely an attractive design. It's got the traditional ruffles lines of the older Cleo models. The cups don't have quite enough space for me and since the gore doesn't tack it's not a great fit. Overall the bra is very cute and has a similar shape and function to fex the Cleo Lily, but I'm wondering if it's lacking some immediate cup depth or even more fabric to contain my center fullness.
This bra is beautiful. I love the polka dots and the pattern of the lace. It is so much more than a black lace bra. The stretch lace makes the bra very forgiving, particularly for those who are full on top.
Bottom of bra fit me very strangely. This leads me to think those with more tissue on bottom may fare well with this. Was almost cutting into my tissue at the top. Straps were a bit wide.
I love the fit of this bra, but am not sold on the colour. The hot pink straps are just too much. They are so vivid and don't compliment the beautiful pale lilac colour of the bra. I do love the bright yellow stitching and ribbon accent - wishing that the straps were this colour instead. I also speculate the pink straps would be highly visible under any light coloured top.
Despite my hatred for the pink, this bra is super comfortable and appears to fit quite well. The band is firm and very comfortable. The depth and width of the cup are pretty close to perfect. My only qualm is that it gives a slightly pointed shape that I have not experienced before with Cleos. Not sure if it is a dealbreaker, I will have to try it on with some clothes and see how it looks.
I've always been attracted to the unique colours of this bra. It's much brighter in real than "official" photos show. I'm not fond of neon colours usually, but the neon pink and yellow combined with light purple go so well together. I feel this is the kind of bra that leaves no one indifferent when you see it, you love it or you hate it. The floral lace is entirely lined with non stretch shiny mesh. This makes the cups easily adapt to the breast shape without losing support. The downside of no stretch mesh on top is that the cups are very slightly gaping on top (just ...a few millimeters) when my arms lean forward, but this is almost invisible otherwise, and the cups don't wrinkle. The cups are much deeper and more closed on top than the average balconette bra. They're also pretty narrow but the central gore is lower than usual for this shape. As a narrow FoB and very projected shape, I feel so happy to have finally found a balconette that isn't shallow and very open on top. This is so hard to find in 34D and is so comfortable. Finally a bra that doesn't compress my boobs and feels just right. As for the band, it's true to size but very slightly stretchier than average. The bra comes with a hipster panty that is true to size. I think this is a great bra for even and FoB shapes that are narrow and very projected. Definitely not meant for wide or shallow breasts, and probably not great for very FoT shapes. Read more 157 more words
I love the cup width in this one! 30FF fitted a tad better than 28FF for me, but the cups would be better for someone with more breast volume - the molded shape is somewhat projected after all. There's tiny cute lace on top of the cups.
The band is thin yet feels really sturdy built. Overall nice bra.
I can see why this bra is suggested for those fob. The straps are a touch too wide for comfort for me and it does not feel very supportive. The lace, on me, gapes horribly. Which most bras do but I had such high hopes for this one. I have tall and shallow yet wide roots. Even I think.
I can tell this bra is of excellent construction and gives a nice shape. I measure more as a 30E. So the 28F is too tight and the straps are too short. And the lace is very loose just like almost all bras on me (tall, shallow roots). I would like to try it in a 30E of I ever get a chance, though I am confident the lace would still be loose.
This bra is comfortable and gives a nice rounded shape. I have some projection at the bottom and this bra works well for that. I have tall, shallow roots and the top does not cut in. The negative: I am not sure why but this bra causes me major side and side/back fat/spillage. When I go to put the bra on, before I fasten the hooks, the cup wires feel either too narrow or too u shape for my shape. Even though the width cup measurements seem like they should be fine for me. For now I am saying it fits but not really sure.
This bra's band is nice and snug, so it forces me into the proper posture! I love bras that do that! I've gained weight since I bought this, so I need to loosen the straps more than I'd like in order to avoid quad boobs. Hence, the solid band is especially appreciated. This is very cute yet sexy bra. I love the wide-set straps. Even though this a molded bra, which I usually loathe, it fits well. There is no gapping even when I hunch over. I am very, very happy with this bra.
I love the Cleo Mimi! The 30FF fits perfectly on my small, petite frame, similar to how other Cleo padded/molded bras fit me. It was disheartened after trying on other 3HC half cup bras from Freya and Gorsenia in the same size, as they all were too large in the cup and too open on the top part and too wide in the strap placement.
On paper this bra should fit me, but I have a few problems with it. First, the cups are open at the top and create an area that I don't fill. Second, the sides are short - this might not bother me if I had not changed directly out of a Comexim bra to try this one on. Third, the band feels most secure on the tightest hooks, but then the wires hurt quite a lot.
Mimi is my most painful bra, which was a surprise as I get along well with most Marcie cuts.
In my size (28FF), Mimi is too shallow at the wires, causing them to be pushed below my IMF and the not-very-adjustable straps to be uncomfortably pulled on my shoulders.
It was too bad as I thought some of the colors are really cute.
I'm projected with center fullness and this is the best fitting bra I own, in that most of my breast tissue is held within the cups and the wire sits in my infra mammary fold. There is a tiny hint of quadboob at top of cups but overall this is a good fit for my breast shape, though I do find the shape is too pointy and projected.
But, after wearing for just a couple of hours, I find this bra uncomfortable, rather stiff. I've washed it a couple of times and it hasn't become more comfortable. Something about the wires feels constraining, whereas my Panache Jasmine gives a similar shape and feels much more comfortable. This is not a bra I can wear all day.
This review is for the black with white polka dot colorway.
My boobs: I am tall rooted, slightly narrow and projected up to my apex, shallow above the apex. Soft tissue.
This bra: fits really nicely! I sized down as I read here that this bra runs big in the cups, and that is definitely true. The depth of mine is 8.5, which I think is about a half cup size bigger than most 30DDs. As I usually do well in 30Es that run slightly small, I thought I'd give this one a try and I am so glad I did. It works very well for my shape. There is good depth at the wire and good overall projection. The ...top section works well with my tall shallow-ish roots because the black ribbon closes the cup somewhat more than Marcie. I don't find the black ribbon cuts in at all. It also makes my boobs look round, which never happens to me. Plus it is very comfortable, the fabric is soft All in all, I want to panic buy as many of these in this size as I can because I adore the look and fit of this one but it is discontinued :/
The wire on my bigger size is too narrow for me, I switched it out for a wire from a worn out Marcie in a cup up and it works like a dream now. (All measurements are from the unaltered side.) Read more 124 more words
Agreed on the pink straps. It’s little bit of overkill.
