The photos are really misleading - the straps are neon, electric pink. It doesn't looks nearly as nice paired with the soft purple lace, pretty disappointing.
The fit is decent - the cups and the gore are TALLLLLL. I have tall roots, and this is a full coverage bra on me (unlike Lucy and Marcie etc., where I get a bit of moundy cleavage). There's some extra space in the top part of the cup, but the lace trim is tight, so sizing down is probably going to cut into my roots.
The band is pretty stretchy, and rode up after just a few minutes ...of trying it on/taking photos. The gore tilts (not a huge surprise, I am close set with lots of inner fullness, and the gore is wide and tall). The wires are struggling to get up into my IMF on my larger side, likely due to the gore being so wide and also not quite enough depth in that area - I have some wrinkling on the bottom outside of the cups as well.
The shape is lifted, very round from the front, and maybe not quite as round of a profile as I usually get in Cleos. The wires are just way too long for me, both in the gore area and under the arm area, so I won't be bothering to retry this. Read more 124 more words
Gore trends to be uncomfortable for me by the end of the day it is a shorter gore (which are generally hard for me find that I like) and ever so slightly shifts around throughout the day, I’ve had issues with the cups (inter like cleavage area) flaring out and have had to pull the outer fabric away from lining and toward the edge to fix it (think fixing a pair of stockings) basically after every wash, at first this was a bit large but I have since gone up about half a size in both cup and band. The straps seem a bit short compared to other ...bras, but I consider myself low set and they are long enough for me. The cups are slightly wider (or maybe just farther apart) than I need them to be so while I initially fit very well in them as my breast settle outward I get a little gaping in the center, this is something that happens to a degree in every low in the center plunge-ish bra I have tried though, my soft tissue is like putty it forms to whatever space it is in as long as the firmer tissue allows it to. I find this bra to be extremely comfortable. Minus the small upper cup issue, i think this is pretty close to perfect. By the end of my 2nd day wearing it, i was notcing the upper rim of the cup protruding a bit off my breast tissue when I made certain movements. I'm not sure if this is my bra shape, or the way the bra is structured. It's made from a thicker material at top that I think that may have some trouble laying perfectly flat on some breasts. Otherwise, this bra is great. The rose pattern is adorable and it's very comfortable to wear all day. It gives a great shape under shirts.
The band is much tighter / less stretchy then on my blue 28F Marcie (http://bra.pe/XYLq/). Possibly because of the darker color? The cups look the same but also feel very tight. Overall this is more supportive but also very constricting.
The band feels slightly looser then on my blue 28F Marcie (http://bra.pe/XYLq/) possibly because of the darker color? Making it more comfortable but a little less supportive. The cups are quite a bit bigger. There is noticeable gaping at the upper edge and my boobs looks a little more pointy. I expect this to fit much better when my boobs are a bit swollen.
(Purple colorway) Fit pretty well when I was this size and even a little smaller. Because this shape is made with bottom fullness in mind, it was easy to pretend it still fit as I lost volume since the lace would still lay flat. I ended up selling it when it got unwearably big, but now I wish I had hung on to it as I'm pregnant again and have almost nothing in this size.
This is a very old and highly altered Lucy that I got second hand during my last pregnancy.
Alterations: - Gore was narrowed and bows were removed by the previous owner. I undid the gore narrowing alteration, restabilized it with a piece of fabric, and sewed a little star bead on the gore in place of the bow. - I cut the straps slightly shorter to add nursing clips. - I sewed the band smaller because it had stretched out so much with wear.
Since it's pretty closed on top, I can get away with wearing it at a cup size or so smaller. The wires are surprisingly not bothersome when I do this, maybe because they've softened or because I've bent them in.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered band,
Band stretched out due to wear, Added nursing clips, Removed narrowed gore alteration
The pink Lily fits pretty much the same as my other 32FF Lily in the parrot print, which is to say it doesn't. This one seems to be older than the parrot one, though, and the age definitely shows in the fabric and band stretchiness.
I think Lily will always be a shape mismatch for me. In theory it should work - it used to be widely considered the diagnostic bra to try for narrow, projected, and even shapes - but it just doesn't. I've tried several different sizes over several sets of body measurements, but all of them are pretty much the same on me - in-cup quad with an empty top section. I could size down a cup to fill the top section, but then the quad would look even worse. Then there are the strange wrinkles on the sides of the cups... really not sure what causes those.
It's really a shame because the parrot print version is super cute, and sturdy, too. This bra was apparently quite used when I bought it, but you can hardly tell.
This bra fits me pretty much exactly like the Panache Ava plunge. In my opinion, it is just a padded version of Ava. The band is a little stiffer than Ava, so I'm wearing it with an extender, but the cups fit me the exact same. My shape is average to slight projection, even fullness, with tall, shallow roots. It does seem more cheaply made, and I don't really like the frilly part on top of the cup. I might just cut it off, as it doesn't lie flat. But I'm happy with it as it is a good fitting padded plunge for my shape and I got it for a pretty good price.
I have tall shallow roots, with average to slight projection and even fullness. Prior to this bra, I was mostly wearing Freya half cups and this bra was an extremely welcome change. The padding is stiffer than Freya's, and the wires are slightly narrower for the same size. The lift and shape I get from this bra is incredible. It is my favourite bra. The band is pretty stretchy though. If you are in between band sizes I would recommend going with the smaller one.
Love this bra. Definitely one of my favorites. Nice, round shape. I was surprised I was able to fill it as a lot of people say it's for more FoT and I lean more towards even/FoB.
Band a bit tight, maybe I just need to break it in. Doesn't give as round of a shape I would like. Cups fit well, but it hurts my sides after wearing for several hours. I don't find the mesh material very comfortable. Gore a bit raised against sternum.
Very cute but the lace edge is not forgiving for fuller on top boobs. Even though mine fill the cups pretty much perfectly, the taut edge of the lace presses into the top of my slightly larger left breast causing an unfortunate quad boob effect. Going up a full cup size would be too much. Will be returning this bra
If you like this bra when you tried it on for the first time, I suggest you wear it for the whole day to check whether this bra really fits you.
1. LOOSE BAND : put the hook until the end. looser band than any other bras. : the band length (jasmine>kayla), stretched band length (Jasmine, Kayla) => fabric is very stretchy which makes the band looser.
2. TOO MANY WRINKLES & GAPS : Top of the cup wasempty for both breasts.
3. Gore slightly digs in to sternum :Gore digs into the sternum and leaves the red mark ...when I took it off. Better than jasmine bra.
At first, I thought it is comfy and good but when I wore it for the whole day I realized that this bra doesn't support my breast at all. All my breasts got out of the bra and the bra was empty fabric. At first, I thought this is a good bra and gonna be one of my best bras, but it turned out to be one of the worsts since I have tried this on. Btw, the cloth is very itchy. One of my worsts. Appearance is just my any other balconnet bras that look circle from the front but looks flat from the side. Read more 113 more words
This bra is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have enough coverage for full-on-top boobs; I tend to spill out. It would be great for someone less full on top.
