Another delivery of Cleos classic unpadded but very round shaping lace bra, this time in a beautiful burgundy shade with a polka-dotted white bow on the center gore. I truly enjoy the less girly more adult vibe of this colorway. The fit is pretty consistent with other colors, maybe the upper lace is a tad looser on this one.
I've had this bra a year now, it washes well and holds its shape but I am starting to outgrow it on my larger cup.. I was hoping this bra would be like the discontinued Neve Plunge but it is only slightly.. in that it hugs my boobs to my body allowing me to wear tighter button up or zip up clothes which is great and the straps and band are super stretchy which I also like. it gives a rounded shape under clothes but, unlike the Neve, it looks too flat in the middle.. I want them more pushed together to give a look of more center fullness. Its wearable, practical but def not one of my faves, it will have to do until I can find one more like the Neve.. also the straps cut painfully in to my shoulders after a while.. I think maybe because I wear it too tight ? but the straps are less than half way tightened.. so more likely I just need a bigger cup..
I like this bra. It does run a cup size small. I could definitely wear a 30E instead of DD in this bra. My tissue is very soft so the quadding on the bigger breast doesn't show through shirts, and I don't feel pinched by the wires. This bra cup top is "open". If you're very shallow on top it might not work. I'm full on bottom, but the tissue has nowhere to go but up, so it easily fills the top. Bottom of these cups is very shallow.
Wish this worked. Love the wire length; I’m short waisted, so too many bras come up into my armpits. Alas, the wires are too narrow and top cuts in with the 32F after scoop/swoop, and I can’t fill the top and the wires are too high again when sizing a cup up. Cleo Maddie worked better in a 32F, and I just have to deal w the high underwires.
Update: this too slid down, but slower and less than Cleo Maddie.
The Marcie is the closest I’ve had to a fitting bra since I lost 35 lbs last year (65 lbs total). I lost a lot of upper fullness, and have a bit of extra skin, so I had to start fitting from scratch again. I’m stunned at how much my body changed once my BMI went below 25.
I still have a lot of immediate projection and (I think) center fullness, so I’ve had a lot of trouble w collapsing cups or the cups sliding down over time from being too shallow. And if I managed to solve that problem, I found the wires were too high (I’m ...short waisted) or the upper cup cut into breast tissue if I scoop/swoop.
This is the first bra I’ve worn that almost solves both those issues; my pits would feel better if the wires were ~1 inch shorter. Hopefully, it will become less annoying once I wash it.
Update: after wearing the Marci for 8hrs, I discovered the entire band was sliding down; it was below my IMF by almost an inch! My short-waisted curse. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 81 more words
I mainly kept this bra because my bf likes the look https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> I never owned such a classic white bra. It's the first bra where the wires really stay safely in my IMF. Lucy is quite closed at the top, too closed for me. I think Lucy is a bit more projected than Kali.
Really like this bra. The gore is a little wide for me, but not terrible, and the cups come up a bit higher than I would expect for a halfcup. The top of the cup runs into the front of my armpit a bit on my smaller side, but I have this problem in most bras. But the cups have decent projection, the padding is similar to a moulded bra, the floral pattern is pretty...it’s a great everyday bra.
The mesh fabric is really soft and stretchy, which makes it super comfy, and the band runs stretchy. Pretty closed on top. I’m FOB and wearing this in a cup size smaller than usual, and get only a hint of quadding on my larger side next to the gore—a size up would be way too gapey on top. Definitely more for even or FOT shapes.
Fits well on my smaller side, but quads on larger. The mesh on the top of cup is not forgiving to assymetry. The pink is really neon, and the heart embroidery is kind of juvenile.
This was my first bra that wasn’t terrible. The print is cute (I have the blue multi, which is kind of a muted mixed up plaid), the stretch lace is soft. Gore is pretty narrow and it has enough projection by the gore for my center fullness. Straps are lightly padded in this size, which is comfy but makes it hard to tighten the straps past the padded part. It gives a very natural shape. But for my soft tissue, it gives a lot of in cup quad when the straps are tightened at all. And although the bottom of the cup fits well, I don’t fill out the lace at all. Definitely more for full on top shapes.
This bra makes cakes-on -the-plate look, and that was the reason why I bought it. I hoped that was due to the shape of the bra, but that was just because of shallow cups. It's really one size small for me. Band is not very tight, I began to wear the bra from the second hooks.
I purchased my regular size, but I overspilled everywhere. Not enough space in the bottom for me. Might have worked if it were taller. Would be a very pretty bra with nice cakes-on-a-plate cleavage on the right person.
The cups are very shallow, I can't fill the bottom of the bra. But it creates very nice cleavage and it's a perfect bra for deep-v-neckline. The band is quite snug, but not uncomfortable. After more then 2 years of very regular wear ( about 12-15 month I had just 2-3 fitting bras) and regular wash it still looks well, not like new, but quite nice. The cups still keep their shape.
This bra has very shallow, wide and high cups. Not a perfect fit for me. But the color is so vibrant! So I altered the cups ( cut about 0.5cm at the armpit area, and moved the straps in). The band is not very snug, but it is comfy.
This is such a cute and comfortable bra and I love it so much... Except that it definitely doesn't fit. The top of the cup gapes a good amount (can fit a finger there) and it's just too projected on top to work for me. I really love it and it's super great, and I'd imagine anyone who is more projected or full-on-top would really enjoy wearing it.
Wonderful everyday bra; bought it in three sizes when I was figuring out what size I am, turns out I'm more of a 30D/32C.
The top of the cups is nice and open, and I love the lift and shape they give me. Good side support. Plus Maddies just feel good on me - like a nice boob hug.
