Very nice bra. Fits similar to Cleo Mimi -- the cups are pretty tall, but true to size. There's a good amount of projection and room in the center. The longline band is stable because of the boning. I'm going to return it because I don't like the print as much in person as I did in photos, but that's just my own preference. It's a very nice print objectively.
This bra fits me quite well. The band is TTS, so a smidge loose on me, but not too bad since the boning gives it stability. The cups are also TTS and a great fit for my short roots. The fabric on top wrinkles a tad, but not much.
I know some people have found the side wings to be annoyingly tall, but I didn't have an issue with them. I'm very low-set, though, so I may be the outlier, who knows.
The color and the lace pattern are lovely. I also happen to really like the neon lime colored bow and hooks/eyes as well. (I actually really like neon in general, haha. Cleo was just made for me.)
Really love the Geo Floral pattern with the pink trim. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit well enough to keep. The cups were deep enough, but a little too tall for my short roots and there's some gaping at the center gore. Cleo doesn't usually work for me, since I seem to be between 28E/F, so I'd say the cups run a bit large.
Almost perfect for my narrow, projected, short roots. I love the pink and black, and it's very comfortable. However, it's not quite projected enough for me, which causes the lace to fold, but I think a 28F might be slightly too large. Alas.
Update: 28F is projected enough, but can't quite fill out the top of the lace section. Could take in the lace a tiny bit, unsure if I really want to keep it.
Fits similar to Marcie, but more open on top. The band runs snug which I appreciate. It fits more like a loose 26. I took in some fabric along the top inside edge of the cups and now it is a marvelous fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra is very projected, with tall cups. It's a little big on me, but I don't think I could size down because the cups are very firm and they are closed on top despite being tall. The wires are also very firm - I can only wear this bra on the loosest hooks despite being a true 26, because the wires are so hard that it hurt to hook the bra on the tightest hooks.
Other notes: the straps are half adjustable; the knickers in XS run slightly large. I love the print enough that I'm going to try to make this bra work even though it's not the best fit ever.
This bra fits me surprisingly well considering that I'm FOB with short roots. The lace is a tiny bit loose on top, but nothing major. The band runs a little tight, unlike the bluebell colorway. The gore is a bit wide because of the wide wire channels and it tends to sit on my breast tissue, but I'm not too bothered by that.
This is a brilliant bra that suits my fairly wide, shallow breasts and gives great cleavage, it creates a smooth rounded, though shallow shape under clothes. It's very comfortable and supportive and the matching short style briefs are comfortable and fit well. It has a tight band but that's great for me as most 28 backs are a little loose on me.
I pretty much like this style of bra. I read that the cups ran small so instead of the 28F I was going to order, I went went the 28E instead and I think the cups are too small. So I'm thinking of going to a 28F. Love the color and style, very pretty bra. I do wish the straps very wider. I feel busty women need wider straps.
This bra isn't quite right for my shape. The wires and cups come up a little short and small at the sides of my breasts. The shape of the top of the cup with the fixed lace digs in over my breast tissue. I have fairly even fullness, with shallow, wide rooted breasts but I think this might suit someone a little more shallow with a little more fullness at the bottom of their breasts as it doesn't give as rounded a shape as some others I've tried, leaving me a tiny bit pointy shaped. The straps feel a little cushioned and are a little stretchy but only half adjustable which I jut on the edge of not adjusting small enough for me. The gore is a little higher than I usually like but I don't need the support there and prefer lower, more comfortable gore heights.
I think this looks much better, probably should've looked before leaving the other comment lol. I think if you loosened the straps it would fit wonderfully. They're obviously overtightened. I used to over tighten my straps quite a lot. It's a hard habit to quite after wear bras so long with bands too large and cups too small.
The straps fell down any looser. Some small corps were really loose bans, and some were tighter. This was always a loose and stretchy band, and a band too big anyway. The shape worked well though on this E cup part of my nipple would show and certain times of the month hence the F cup too. As with many bras, the apex of the cup sits too low on me
This bra is a pretty good fit on me, though since I'm FoB with short roots, it's not perfect. Actually, even though it's more closed on top than Marcie, it's actually a less good fit on me. I think the cups are taller, so I still get wrinkling even though the cups close in on top. Still, it's a very good bra with a nice snug band.
I have quite a bit of separation (3 fingers) between boobs and they are quite shallow (and fairly even vertically, but slightly FOB), so this bra fits very well with the exception of the gore, which doesn't tack even when wearing the band at sufficient tightness. The band is too wide, which means it needed a bit of modification to fit to said sufficient tightness...achieved this by sewing the loop portion of a bra extender to the band next to the existing loops.
I have to adjust it every 6-8 hours, but otherwise not a huge problem. Straps are perfect.
I had expected that this bra wouldn't fit me very well, since I'm FOB with short roots. But I was just so obsessed with this colorway that I had to try. Surprisingly, the cups fit a lot better than I was expecting. A bit loose on top, but nothing major. I might do some minor alterations to the cups, but not too much. I didn't even have to size down. (Wouldn't have been able to, since Marcie is no longer manufactured any smaller than 28E.)
The band was pretty stretchy compared to other Cleos I've tried. I'll have to alter it since I'm really a 26.
Despite bratabase indicating that this bra "didn't fit", I'd say it fits pretty well. The band is extremely tight, coming in at 22" unstretched! It is more comfortable with an extender for me. The top of the cups fit very well. There is a bit of side boob/under arm fat, which I think might mean it's a little narrow? Or perhaps the side wings are too low. I am not sure. I do like bras with a little padding like this one, as I have large nipples. I am shallow-ish, wide rooted, and bottom heavy. This bra is not itchy or irritating anywhere.
Update 12/28/15: yes, the cups are ...a little narrow. The side boob was diminished by loosening the straps, but I can still feel the end of the outer edge of the wires press into my side boob. I think going up a cup would make the cup overall too wide. Maybe I'll try to stretch the wire. The rest of the bra fits great!
Update: widened the wires a bit and now the bra fits like a dream. Great shape. I'm committed to the bra and got the matching underwear https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
Update 9 may 2016: I think the cups are too low on the outsides. I'm still getting a teeny bit of side boob. The wires are wide enough now but still a bit of spillage Read more 124 more words
Tried 28E because the 28DD was too shallow. The cups of the 28E were still a little small, while the wires were a bit wide, The gore was too high, and left marks after trying on the bra for a few minutes. Returned.
This was a story of so close, yet so far. If it had the same width as my Masquerade Hestia, it'd be my new best. Buuut it's so wide it wraps around my ribcage and the straps are obviously too wide-set as well. The cups were wide and shallow, but had enough volume and I loved that they have nice immediate depth, and sat correctly in my IMF. Really a shame about the width. The band seemed a bit stretchy, but not impossibly so, also I sometimes buy a 30DD and alter the band down a couple inches, so not really a deal-breaker.
The straps are very wide on me and dig in. This makes my breasts very supported, uplifted and centered. Gives a dramatic profile. I had that problem of the thin lace buckling. Wish I could have kept this bra. The lace isn't too big of a deal but the straps are far too wide, so I had to send it back.
When I first bought it, it was uncomfortable because the gore dug in at the top. Also, the edge of the wire would dig into the side of my breast, but this isn't as much of a bother anymore. One side of the gore rests slightly on breast tissue (I am splayed), and it feels fine now. The stretch lace seems like it would be more forgiving of FOT breasts than the Lily (I wear Lily in 28F and the top area doesn't have any give). I feel like it wouldn't be as supportive on heavier breasts. I notice myself bouncing more in this bra. I would recommend ...this bra to someone with narrow roots, even breasts, and projection. On days when my tissue is less firm on top, the lace wrinkles a bit where it meets the cup.
My biggest annoyance about the Hettie is the creaky straps. After three months of owning this bra, this bra won't shut up! Whenever I move my arms, the straps creak uuugh. It's just annoying when I'm in a quiet room lol.
I also have the matching panties in size small. They look great with the bra, but I kinda wonder if I should've gotten an xs because the fabric bunches up a bit in the front. It looks more like a high waisted style, but I'm betting my butt is too big for the xs anyway. Read more 126 more words
Glad you love the Cleo Neve!
