The band is tight, typical for unpadded Cleos. I'll be wearing this one with an extender for a while, but I expected that. It will be fine once it gets broken in a little. The shape it gives me isn't as round as I get with the Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831). It's more like BrasIHate's green shape. I still like it though. The top of the cup is a little loose on my smaller boob, and the underwires poke me at the gore. I'll have to bend them a little like I did with my Marcie.
I'm not a huge fan of the "cutesy" prints that Cleo and Freya seem to love putting out, but I do like the look of this bra. I like the dark blue and coral pink together. The parrots are sort of a weird choice to me, but I can deal with it. Overall, I like this bra and will definitely be keeping it.
Cleo sells the Samba spot Alexa which happens to look like the Bravissimo Olivia. So they look the same but Bravissimo calls it Olivia and Cleo calls it Samba spot. It's got gorgeous polka dots.
I wish that this style worked for me, but I just have to give up on them. This was the first Juna I owned and I honestly hated the color enough that I didn't wear it at all. It's too wide and not projected enough for me.
I really can't tell much of a difference between this bra and the 28DD I have. They both seem to fit nicely. I hope to find this one cheaper than I bought it on amazon ($50 :/) because it should be good on my bigger boob days.
Ordered the larger size of the two I sit between. Super wide wires, quite shallow and very full coverage-y on my frame. The wires dug into my sternum because they were too low. Returned.
I desperately wish this bra fit me. Alas, the straps are quite wide set, not helped by my unusually narrow frame, and this created other fit problems.
Since I had to pull the straps in at an angle to sit properly on my shoulders, the cup was pushed out at the top, creating a gape the size of a grape at my armpit. Weirdly, the rest of the cup lay along my breast just fine. This leads me to think it was a strap problem, not a moulded cup problem.
I returned this sucker because the weird gaping really defeats the purpose of a smooth t-shirt bra. Sad day.
The flamingo print Darcy is summery and sanguine, I smile every time I put it on. I found the band on Darcy to be less stretchy than Juna, while cup structure and size seem equivalent. Bratabase measurements show negligible differences in Darcy and Juna, but it's not enough to warrant getting a different size in Darcy. For more info on the bra and what shapes it suits, see Cleo Juna Balconnet Bra (6461).
This is the best fitting strapless bra I've found! The fit/sizing is similar to the Freya deco strapless in the same size, but with a lower gore (yay!) and VERY firm band. This would be great for those who need a (tight?)26, as I measure around 24" and it stays up on the loosest hooks. I haven't worn it, only tried on, and will update with measurements etc.
I have a question on this one, as I usually wear 28DD bras. If the band is very firm, should get a bigger band and go with the 30D instead of a 28DD? My underbust measurement is 27" or 27.5".
I just measured the band real quick and it's 22", 27" stretched. I haven't actually worn it yet so I'm not sure how much it will loosen up over time. Compared to the deco strapless, I'd say the neve on the loosest hook is as tight as the freya on the tightest hook. I'm not sure if that helps but maybe the 28 could still work for you if you want it tight?
KimberlyD Thank you so much! I guess I will have to get the 30D as 27" is my "so tight I can't breathe" underbust measurement. If I want tight but comfortable I need 27.5" or 28". If the 28 band on this bra stretches only to 27" then the 30 band will stretch to 29" and probably be a good fit.
After adjusting this bra a bit (moving it up to the right spot, proper scooping and putting an extender on), it fits decently. A foam cup/t-shirt bra not crushing my boobs is an amazing find, so for now I'm keeping it. It is very tight in the band and gaps a bit at the edges, but it's high enough for my tall roots. (maybe we should measure height as well as width?)
Got this bra from another user who had some slight discoloration on the straps. There is some discoloration, but it isn't much. I plan to get the stain out and maybe dye the bra a pale nude color - maybe. This bra is very comfortable, but the gore is too high and the wires are too wide. I am a big fan of this style though, so it's a keeper, at least for the time being.
Really nice tight band! The wires on this bra are too wide for me and to low on my sternum, so they dig in. I have too tall of a root and not enough on top to make this bra work. I think it would be good with a shallow shape that is 2-3/5 with a short root. I think it might also work for someone taller than me, but I'm not tooo sure about that.
This bra was either the wrong shape or size- it was close to a fit though, so hard to tell.
I will be trying a size up to see if it removes the quad boob, and adds a little lower projection.
I love how fun the colour of the bra is, and the shape it gives, but I think the cup is a little small on both top and bottom! (Though, I think it's more of a full on top bra.) it could be my boobs are too full on bottom or even to really make it work, but I will update once the exchange goes through https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The band is also much toghter than the freyas I've been trying which is to be expected, but it was a bit too tight. I think possibly due to the cup size being too small.
This bra is good because it fits (I have a tall and wide root, conical/pointy shape, full on bottom) and i quite like the simplicity, though not sure about the lace
Still on my first days of usage, can't really say all that much, but though it fits me, it hasn't won me over yet. What's keeping me from really loving it for now is the fact that the lace trimming over the cups doesn't sit straight on the breast (maybe if I were fuller on top it would) and the center gore isn't all that comfortable either. As far as cleavage goes... all my bras face the comparison with the Capella, and none is a match to the Capella cleavage, unfortunately.
Other than that, the Juna is the perfect nude shade for me and if it weren't ...for that darn lace it would be a good t-shirt bra.
Will keep wearing it though and will come back to this review after some time.

So, here I am, online shopping for bras which I always do with an open window for Bratabase, and I stumble into this review of mine from June 2012, when I bought the Juna bra in Nude. I wasn't raving much about Juna, right? Well, guess what? I'm buying another one in the exact same nude color. Two years in, I must say the Juna did win me over. It's a great everyday bra and mine has a lot of mileage by now. Read more 120 more words
The band runs a little tight, but not extremely. It is very firm and hard to stretch, though. The straps are a little wide set, but again not enough to cause problems. The wires are quite wide and go over near my armpits, leaving space between them and the end of my breasts. I fill the bottom of the cups well but have a little trouble with the top edge, as I often do with cups of this construction. I'm fairly shallow/tall rooted and any horizontal seams cause problems - this only does a tiny bit. I see a little bit of puffiness with the mesh/embroidered top portion, but the top edge does lay flat - aided by the scalloped edge that hides the tiny amount of cutting in that may be happening.
Overall, comfortable but nothing really special. Unless being a well-enough-fitting bra is special enough (it kind of is!). I wish the wires were narrower.
Fits me really well! The 28DD - Cleo ยป Juna (6461) was a little small and had a weird too-rounded shape to it so my breasts didn't completely fill the bottom portion of the cup - this doesn't have that issue. The cups seem like they're shaped exactly like I am, including the wire width. The straps are padded, comfortable, and thin, which helps the whole bra feel daintier. The band fits tts on the largest hook and doesn't dig in, so I know I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it. The color and pattern is pretty and fun, so when I ...wear this I kind of want to show it off to everybody (of course that isn't possible, but my husband is tired of me showing it to him!). There are some scratchy/pressure points that begin to irritate me after a days wear, including at the top of the gore. The lace at the top of the cups could also be lighter and softer, but it only begins to bug me after 8 hours of wear, so it's not a big deal. Read more 81 more words
