This bra fits me perfectly and I'm a pretty solid 28F currently. It's kind of a cross between the Cleo Marcie and the Cleo Meg in cut. I think it's closer to a Marcie cut but the stiffer fabric makes it behave like a meg. The cups size runs true to how all Cleo bras fit. The band is nice and tight. The pattern is very youthful and fun and cheery.
Shape mismatch. It hurt on me, it fit all wrong, gave me weird quad boob in the seam between the cup and lace but then the top of the lace was not quite filled.
I get it in peach/neon orange colorway, it's so pretty!! Such a waste! I guess I'm not going to keep it.
I got this bra today, put it on and haven't taken it off. It's so comfortable. As usual the straps are a little too wide for my narrow shoulders. So far the under wires aren't poking into to my rib cage like my new Marcie does (I think I need to bend the wires a little). The seam on my smaller boob does show slightly through my T-Shirt. I haven't tried it with my other T-shirts so I'm not sure if this will be a problem. Like other Cleo bras the band is firm, very good for my 25" under bust. The pattern is red with white polka dots and cute even though I'm not a "Minnie Mouse" type.
The Lily is a tricky model for me. 28E has been my trusty Cleo size for a while now and my first Lily was in a 28E. I thought it fit OK when I first got it. The only issue I noticed was that the wires/wings were quite short on the sides, allowing some tissue to escape. However, as time went on I noticed the cups cut into my larger breast a lot and were causing quadboob, so I decided to try a 28F.
I think I'm just not the right shape for this bra. This 28F "fits" -- the volume is about right, there's no wrinkling/quadboob, etc., but ...it looks too full-coverage on me. I don't think it's the fit that Panache intended. I believe Lily is supposed to be a lower-cut model, but I just don't like the armpit fat effect it gave me! The top of the cup is not very stretchy either and it doesn't allow for much fullness. I fill out a 30DD Marcie perfectly, but I quad out of the Lily in the equivalent size. It's not obvious due to the dark material, but I don't completely fill the bottom of the cup, indicating it's indeed a little too large.
As far as general info, the band is on the stretchier side of a 28. The material is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it does feature the signature super painful Cleo gore that will need to be broken in. Read more 134 more words
I love Marcie bras! I have three of them! They give a nice rounded lifted shape with no padding. It's amazing. As I'm in between a 28f and 28ff, this bra ran a little small. When I have good posture, the top of the cup definitely cuts in, creating a quad boob. I also have some spillage on the sides.
This bra is very comfortable, the band fits tight enough to give support, but not tight enough to cut off circulation. The gore does come up a little high and would poke me when changing positions. The cups are smooth and lined enough to prevent show through. The center seem does show on tighter shirts but the lace doesn't. Also, the lace does not lay flat, which I've heard is normal for this bra if it fits correctly.
Gorgeous bra. Confirms I'm definitely a 28 band but too small in the cup for me - quadra-boobing. I would say this is more due to me being between F/FF than the sizing of this particular bra.
It didn't jab me so badly or cup up very high in the armpits which was nice. However, I don't know if that just happened because it was a size or so too small? The strap width was acceptable as well (again, because it was a little small?). I don't know, but it is really pretty, and It maybe my boobs round which not all unlined bras do.
Bella is so beautiful. The colors are beautiful. The butterflies on the lace are sweet. The shape is great. The fabric is firm and supportive. The magic Cleo shape lifts and projects my soft full on bottom breasts. I was worried about filling the top because the fabric isn't stretchy, but is just right. My smaller side only has a bit of gapping in some positions, but not bad at all.
This bra is so gorgeous. The pattern and the colors are beautiful. It is such a disappointment that the lace is so loose. The band, the straps, lower(woven fabric part), and the gore all fit really well. The bottom of the cups is really sturdy so my post nursing, bottom heavy, heavy breast are beautifully lifted and separated. Then there is that lace. Because the lace is loose I have some in cup quadboob where it spills over the woven fabric because the lace isn't holding firm. Because my post nursing breast tissue is so soft it just goes where ever it wants in the lace upper cup there is a lot of jiggle. However under clothes it looks great. I think I could probably go down a cup size and fill the lace only because my tissue is so soft. I have a great silhouette with this bra so I will keep it.
I've ordered online a Darcy balconette bra in 28E. I've tried it and the cup is too small so I decided to exchange it and go up a cup size. My problem comes when I check the bra label, it says it is a 28F but the bra tag says it is a 28E. I'm now confused because I know I need to go up a cup size but I don't know for sure which size my bra is.
I'm sorry we don't have more measurements for the 28F, but from your numbers they seem to match the 28E ones better.
When you get the new one, you should be able to compare this and the new one's numbers to double check :)
I think the issue here is with the depth of the cup. You probably need to find other brand with the same band size but more cup depth. This will solve your issue of spilling of your boobs at top.
It's a pretty fabric. The lace at the top of the cups is (was) a little bit too big - it ruffled & gaped. I probably would have been fine in a 28f cup in the Millie. As it is, I took in the lace a bit, which smoothed out the line perfectly for me.
The wires are too wide, but the gore's refreshingly narrow, and it seems like it almost fits... except I get this weird bulging in the lace section of the bra. I think I might look for a size up, otherwise this might be the comfiest unlined bra I have.
Cups run a bit small? when I swooped and scooped I was busting out of it. I think I'm in between a 28F and 28FF. I want to try a 28FF, but will keep this one for when I lose weight. Nice rounded shape, good lift. Band is tight, but stretchy and comfortable.
Is currently brand new and tight - I currently need an extender. 30 band is too big and slips around though, so we'll see how it goes. It fits my even boobs great.
Very cute, well-fitting bra. The band is nice and firm and the cups generally fit well. My only problem is that the top of the cups cuts in slightly too sharply, which causes slight wrinking in the apex of the cup on my larger side.
