After finding newer Cleos having looser bands, I thought Bella might be the same. I'd say this bra doesn't run big in the band! I'm more of a 30E with a comfortable underbust measure of 28-30". I could hardly fasten this bra alone - I wore an extender with it. Unfortunately the cups were wide on me, despite always using the extender and trying to bend them thinner once. I could bend them to around 5", but they returned to their original width of around 5.5" with wear. The wideness was a problem, and I couldn't get the top portion of the cup to be as wrinkle free as my Lily or Marcie.
Looked more like a full cup bra on me than a balconette. The cups seem to be taller than cleo marcie. The top of the cup gaped on me, and I had some in-cup quadding on my larger breast, similar to the 2016 beige marcie. Stretch lace seemed like it would pill easily- it kept catching on my tape measure and my dry fingers. The colorway was a little brighter than I expected, too.
This is such a pretty bra. The band is nice and snug. I've had to size down to a 28F (usually a 28FF). There's still a little bit of gaping due to a slight shape mismatch but I really wanted this bra and it's not enough to show under clothing.
So, I finally got the Lily to try in 28F (and was super excited). It's not perfect on me. The band is wonderfully tight (stretching to only 26.5 inches). The cups are very narrow and projected for the size range, but they're a bit too wide and tall at the very tops for me. I get a tiny bit of gaping at the top and the straps are definitely too wide. The gore is almost too wide, but it's workable. I do absolutely love the shape this gives! I didn't really believe that my breasts would go into this shape without moulding, so this may become my go to bra despite its issues. Cleo Lily lovers, do you have any advice?
The cup size is a perfect fit. It was a bit scratchy when it was new, but softened up nicely after a few washes. Band is a bit tight, but this is by far the best fitting bra I've had yet, so I'm wearing it anyways. One minor downside is it seems to have a bit of a minimizing effect, and the band likes to work its way down throughout the day. I think the lower projection may be a bit too low. Overall the fit is ok though!
this is the most comfortable underwired bra i currently own. i originally tried on a 28E which gave me awesome cleavage, but the quadboob would have shown under snug tops, so i went up to a 28F which fits my larger breast perfectly. the 28E wires were actually more comfortable on my sternum based on where they hit, but i bent the inner wires (on the gore) slightly away from my chest and now the 28F is very comfortable.
The bra's band like everyone says, runs tight. I have the nude one and I can definitely say the 28 is a 26 band. It fits me quite well though.
The cups are a little small, probably about half a cup to a cup. I am shallow, so I think sizing up on the cups will be too big, ideally I'm probably inbetween 28F and 28FF on this style.
The bra gives a nice shape under a shirt. It's not as clevagy as the deco, but I personally find it more comfortable for my wide roots. The gore is also very low and ...close, which works well for me as I'm close set.
The underwires sort of dig into me at the bottom, which I don't like because the underwires has no padding. However, I bent it a bit to my shape and it seems to feel better.
Overall, this is a good bra, especially since it comes in so many different sizes (sub 28's rejoice!). I recommend sizing up in the band from your normal Cleo size if you are considering this, and size up in the cups if you are not shallow. This bra is one of my favorites as the lift is together and up. It has very stiff fabric and cut, so it may not be ideal for very top or bottom heavy boobs. My are fair even and soft.
The band is nice and tight and firm and even after a few wearings, it hasn't stretched out. The straps aren't too wide apart. The gore is a little wider than I'd like. I do best with .5 inches or less, but it's not unbearable.
Very cute print in a salmon color with magenta edging and straps.
I measure between 28E/F so I sized up to 28F for this one, which I've been told is the starter bra for shallower shapes. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. The band was too big and I could not keep this bra on for any longer than 5 seconds without feeling sharp pains on my sternum, which has really scared me off of ordering bras with high gores now. At least I've realized that even though I have shallow breasts, my root isn't wide since the cup was too wide for me. There was no gaping or spillage from the cups even when I moved around and gore separation was fine, but the straps were placed too far apart for my narrow shoulders. Definitely returning this one.
It's a great bra (a padded halfcup with one vertical seam specifically), but there are two things you shouldn't expect:
- The lace laying flat (it's a well-known design flaw of the Juna that the lace *never* lays flat unless the cups are too small) - The seams to be invisible under T-Shirts (if you want no seams, check out the Cleo Maddie Moulded Balconette T-shirt Bra (7201))
Also, it runs small in the cups and stretchy in the band. Many people find they have to go up a cup and down a band size from their regular size to get a decent fit.
With the "good enough" fit I got from the Cleo Jude in Plum/Coral, I needed a more invisible t-shirt bra to go under light colored tops. This bra seems to work well with full on bottom / not much on top shape - which is me. I was annoyed that the nude bra had pink trim, but IRL the pink is so subtle it looks white in most lighting. Disappears nicely under light tops.
The Cleo Meg is the best not-quite-fitting bra I own. I put it in the "not-quite-fitting" category because it's made for someone more heavy on top than I am. It's clear even in this front view shot that there's some gaping going on at the top of the cup of my smaller breast (my left one). But this slight gaping doesn't compromise its support or the way it looks under clothing.
So I'm extremely happy to keep it. The print is gorgeous. I can't believe I didn't find it attractive the first time I saw it in pictures. I wish Cleo would make bras in more prints of ...this type instead of going with dots or other prints that are not as elegant as this one.
Band is very true-to-size and perfectly snug and comfy on the first hook.
To reduce the gaping of the left cup, I have to shorten the left strap quite a bit more than the right one. It's the first time I have to do this to that extent but it works for me.
Placement is good and they're fully adjustable.
I love the red accents! It goes so well with the midnight blue and it gives the bra a little something extra.
I purchased this bra to see how it fit compared to a 28E that I bought which ended up being too small and had the typical Jude characteristics. This bra had a lot of extra room, mostly projection-wise and near the bottom of the cups. The cups also came up much higher on my chest, which was really uncomfortable. I felt really constricted in it. The cup width was also pretty wide. This bra in no way worked for me, so back it went.
I ordered it, comparing it to my http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhvih/ La Senza fabulous bra... but the shape is slightly different and the Cleo seems to cover more boob than the La Senza does... making the cup a marginal fit rather than a good fit. Really, just a tiny bit of quad boob with some imagination.
I considered ordering a 28FF instead, that would solve the cup issues, but it wouldn't solve the band issues. I have a 25.5in underbust, and normally 28 bands work really well (I'm not very fleshy, so there's not much to 'compress', so 28 bands work like a dream despite measuring sub-28). I'd need a 26 in this bra, and that of course doesn't exist. Even though I WANT to convince myself that this is 'fine'. It will end up somewhere over my shoulders before the end of the day.
Bye bye Cara! (And bye bye all other Juna-lookalikes with all your prettiness!)
The Cleo Jamie is an unpadded, underwired plunge bra made of a sheer hot pink material with a contrasting blue spotted ribbon woven through the top of the cups and a bow on the centre gore. The straps are fully adjustable and there are 2 eye hooks on the band.
I really like this bra! I find it to be comfortable and supportive for my shape, as well as being very pretty and just a little sexy. When I put it on it makes me want to smile! The shape it gives under clothes is a naturally uplifted and rounded look, not in-your-face, but not at all pointy ...either. The lacey fabric does show through very tight or sheer t-shirts, and the hot pink colour could be a problem if you don’t like your bra straps showing under tops with narrow straps, but I personally don’t mind my bra showing a little, and I think the colour is bright and fun enough to be worn as part of your outfit.
My boobs are close set and I can have problems with centre gores painfully digging into breast tissue, but the gore on the Jamie is low enough for it not to be an problem for me. I have also had issues before with bras with narrower underwires digging into breast tissue under my arms, but I don’t have that problem with this bra either. I wore it around the house in the evenings for about a week to break it in (just in case!) and now I can comfortably wear it all day at work without having to readjust because of my boobs moving about, or discomfort.
I find the band comfortable and supportive on the loosest hook and the cups enclose my breasts and fit perfectly. I bought mine from a seller on ebay, if ever given the chance I would like to see how the 28FF fits, because although I have no quadboob at the top, it’s a near thing. If my boobs were to grow even a little, it could quickly become too small.
I should note that I had to remove the ribbon threaded through the top of the cups as it’s quite a bit is tighter than the fabric of the cups themselves, causing a quad boob effect and a very unattractive shape under clothes. Once removed however, the cups fit perfectly, and the shape is lovely. It’s a shame because the ribbon was really pretty, but I don’t feel the appearance of the bra suffers now it’s removed, it still looks just as nice! Read more 320 more words
I never thought I would buy a unlined bra, but this was too lovely to pass up. The band is a bit tight to start with but I think once I've worn it for a bit it will loosen up. It was coming up short in the underarm and I was getting some bulging but that was fixed once I moved the underwire in the channel more towards the underarm. The straps are fully adjustable.
another blossom for my collection in taupe. it's a good skin tone bra for me. fit is great as per - this seems to fit about the same as jade. the tag on this said panache instead of cleo, funnily enough.
