Overall this is a nice bra, and works well under t-shirts. For the most part I fill the cups and don't runith over. However, the top of the cup near the armpit gapes and going down a cup size doesn't help. Personally, I'm not a fan of bras with only two hooks on the band and wish this one had three.

This bra is not a friend to close set boobs, but I went ahead and kept it anyway. My boobs feel weightless in it and the profile shape is rounded and projected, which I don't get much of in my moulded plunge bras. It also makes my boobs very narrow from a front view, pushing all of my sideboob towards the front. I don't have a preference for that either way, but I can imagine it would have a slimming effect under a tight dress https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I kept this over a 28GG I ordered at the same time. I found the band to be a bit snugger on the H and the wires were higher on the side without going too far back.

Update: I've recently lowered the gore to 2.5 inches http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/4446/

The wires are too wide, but it's not uncomfortable like in some other bras. Reviews say it runs loose in the band and shallow in the cups, which I found to be true, so I went a band down and a cup size up (28H as opposed to my regular 30G). In this size, my breasts fill out the front of the cups almost perfectly, no spillage anywhere. The sides are empty, but thanks to the firm padding it still supports well (almost like a side support bra, I suppose). I also don't have a problem with a lack of projection at the bottom; my boobs are resting nicely in the cups. The pink lace trim doesn't lay flat but it doesn't show through shirts like you'd think. The vertical seams are well-hidden which makes it almost invisible under clingy fabric. The shape is nicely rounded like most Cleos. Overall a good bra, I give it 7/10 boobs.

I could probably consider this bra a "fit", but it gives me a shape I am not fond of... sort of squished, pointy and just kinda sad. I think it has to do with the lace material and the amount of stretch it has. Or perhaps it's just the cut in general.

Otherwise, the quality is good. It feels sturdy and is pretty too. Band is firm, gore tacks and the material is soft and smooth. If it wasn't for the weird shape it gives me, I'd probably keep it, but alas, I'm listing it for sale.

Orange leopard print. How fun is that!?

This was another bra that nearly made me cry the first day I tried to wear it. It's apparently known for having stupidly wide straps, and I concur. It also doesn't have the curvy back strap placement like other Cleo and Panache bras that I've had.

However, the wires fit snug under my breasts and make them feel locked-in and secure. I like the coverage of molded cups. I convinced myself that the wee bit of quad-boob on my larger side wasn't really that bad. (I can also agree that this may run small in the cups compared to ... others models of its brand.) And I didn't quite want to die from the tight band and digging-in straps on my second go-round wearing it.

Here, again, I have problems with the edge of the cups under my arm. It seems to be a little too wide and a little too high, and I get some gaping in the cups in that area where I'm not filling them. However, unlike the Panache branded 28Hs that I have, I don't feel like the extra width in the wires is as egregious under my arms; with the others, I have cup material laying flat against my ribs beyond the breast tissue and that is not the case with this bra.

I'm hoping as it continues to soften that the issue under my arms will lessen. Or maybe this bra will get me to look into strap-altering DIY instructions. Orange leopard print!!

This bra was too closed off on top but had too much volume at the upper front of the cup for my tall but shallow-on-top breasts.

It is a nice, subdued design coming from Cleo's land-of-neons. The cups run about a full size large, and the band is looser than other unpadded Cleos.

This is currently my favourite bra! It's so pretty and very comfortable! The band is a tad too big for me, probably because I really need a 26 or 24 band. The center gore is still too high for my close set breasts but it's narrower than other bras I've tried and not really a problem. It gives me a wonderful rounded shape and lifts nicely. One problem I did have at first was that the straps were placed way too far apart, making the top of the cups gape. But I found an alteration on the internet to move the straps closer, which worked well! It also made the armholes a bit bigger and most of the gaping is gone now, the lace is still fluttery at times (probably because of my fob shape) but I can live with that.

I searched high and low for this bra. With the help of other ladies here and twitter I finally found it in a 28H. It's too small, but comfortable to wear. I love the smooth material of the cups, it is soft and comfortable. It's not as high quality as some fabrics, but it's very pretty.

The band on this is firm, it is definitely a firm 28. This is good for me as I need more like a 26. It's comfortable for daily wear, all day. The wires are slightly bent, and bend easily. So if you do not like a flexible wire this bra will not be for you.

I got this bra to wear as an unpadded "nude" bra to wear under sheer tops, since I find beige bras boring, generally. The very light mottled floral and lilac background function well as a near-nude.

I had heard that the Cleo Lucy (5851) and sister-cuts would cut in for my even-fullness shape. However, my tall root was my salvation here - my tissue up top is shallow enough that the bra does not cut in at all. Unfortunately the rest of the fit is less good. The gore and wires are too wide. The wires slip around in their channels and get a little pokey. The band is quite stretchy, and I find it fairly loose even on the smallest hook. I will probably take in the gore, which should improve many of these fit issues.

First time with a "correctly" sized bra, but still not quite correct, I think. I ordered a 28GG but received a 28H. The band is very tight, leaves red marks around my torso after a short time wearing it, but the fit is not uncomfortable. My main problem with this bra is that the straps rub too much in front of my arms. This bra is slightly less bothersome than the 28GG Marcie I also received. In my photos, I included photos of where I'd like the straps to sit, and where it feels like they should sit. Even with scoop and swoop, I still have "rolls" outside the straps. Cups are comfortable but lace shows through a t-shirt.

It's close, but this shape doesn't work for me. The volume of the cup is about right, but even when my breasts are smaller, the cups both wrinkle and overflow and the gore is too high.

Nice and soft straps! I would love this bra if it actually fit.

I liked the shape this bra gave me, but ultimately the gore was too tall and wide for my very very close-set breasts.

Band runs loose, and wires are a bit wide (but I much prefer too wide to too narrow).

    Love the Strawberry color!

    28H

    Didn't fit

I've tried the Cleo Meg in both 28GG and 28H, and ultimately kept the 28H because the cups on the 28GG were giving me a distorted shape (not rounded like I prefer) and I was spilling out of the sides of the cup. Although I get some space at the top part of the cup I will never be able to fill (this happened in both sizes), the 28H was the better fit.

Here's my take on the bra:

Cups - I have breasts that are neither full on top nor bottom, they would be considered even. As mentioned by other reviewers, this bra would work best with full on ... top ladies. On me, although there's wrinkling on the top portion, the rest of the cup is doing a great job at supporting. The material of the cups is very sturdy and lifts your breasts front and centre, with very little effort!

Centre gore - digs in a little and sits on some tissue as I am close set (not going to be an every day bra for me, probably a once a week bra)

Band - the band feels true to a 28. It's stretchy enough that the cups don't grind on your ribs if you have less fluff in your underbust.

Straps - fully adjustable and soft. No problems with it digging in. The straps are ribbed so the adjuster stays put.

Appearance - Very, very cute. I love the bird theme and finishings and splashes of red all around.

Overall, it's a comfortable bra to kick around in after work while wearing a loose tank top and is a welcome addition to my regular rotation. While I should probably stay away from similar cup shapes from Cleo, I don't regret keeping this one. If you are considering this bra, I would say it is true to size, however, make sure the cup shape is right for you!

Oh, wow... I don't have a plunge bra so I thought/hoped this would fit in my underwear drawer nicely.

    But nope. I mean NOPE.

The bra itself is incredibly cute and I really hoped it would fit, but it doesn't. It's SO bad on me I don't even think it's worthwile to post pictures, because I simply don't do the bra any justice.

The cups look quite huge, actually, but in reality they're just really broad/shallow and have very little volume. The result on me is a MEGA quadboob. And thanks to the band starting halfway on the side of the cups, the bottom of the cup (i.e. under the band) is completely empty.

The straps adjust all the way and seem very comfortable. The band is quite small but very stretchy.

So if you're full-on-top, I'd say just forget this bra. Probably would go better for FOB boobs? IDK.

    28H

I am very prone to back pain from bands being either too loose or digging in from being too thin, so I've been desperately searching for a longline bra. Being a 28GG/H, I'm sized out of the Freya longlines, which leaves this as the only longline bra sold in my size. By the time I discovered it, it had been sold out almost everywhere, but a user was selling a 28H on here, so I pounced.

Unfortunately, the fit, construction and appearance all leave a lot to be desired. The bra is a bizarre orange and grey plaid, which would almost give a sort of ... cutesy retro kitsch bustier top look, had it not been paired with Barbie pink lace straps and back hooks. I knew all this before buying it, and it would have been a small price to pay, had the bra actually fit and flattered well.

My first grievance, on trying the bra on, was discovering that the lace was the same construction as the Cleo Juna, that is to say, it is intended to be loose and fluttery. I don't know what exec at Panache ever thought that was a good idea, but they should be fired. Loose Barbie pink lace? Seriously? It shows through every shirt, and makes the bra look like it fits far more poorly than it actually does
    .
The second thing to catch my attention was a very poorly thought out tiny piece of flexible plastic boning under each cup. This boning was only about 1.5" long, and ran from the bottom of the underwire down to the stiff elastic at the bottom of the band, but did not intersect the elastic. Every time I would bend over, breathe in or move, these little pieces of boning would bend or move around in their casings, and then snap back painfully. I am speaking here in the past tense, because I wore the bra for a grand total of 10 minutes before cutting out the offending boning. The longer side boning is actually very nice and definitely helps to stabilize the band

Once I cut out the front boning, the bra became significantly more comfortable. Unfortunately, the removal of the most obvious fit problem allowed be to see all the other ones. The reviews I read said that the band ran quite tight. However, when I received the bra, I discovered that the actual fit of the band is rather more problematic than simply being tight. The BOTTOM of the band is indeed quite tight, but the top of the band, directly underneath the cups, actually runs true to size or even a bit loose. Basically, it is made for a very triangular shaped ribcage, which mine is not. The practical implication is that while the bottom of the band is quite tight and has a tendency to want to sit lower on my ribcage than it should, the top of the band is just hanging there. The shallow cups get pushed out by my not-shallow boobs, and the cups end up just floating, and eventually just collapsing downwards. The cups floating issue is made worse by the too-far-apart strap placement - I have broad shoulders, so the straps don't fall down, but they are places so far out on the cups that there is nothing holding the middle of the cups in place, hastening the collapse and drop of the top of the band.

I've now worn this bra 4 times. I'm even more convinced that I want a longline bra, but I'm increasingly certain that this bra is not the longline bra for me. Because I've now cut out the boning, it's unlikely I will be able to resell this bra for much, which is unfortunate, because it would need major surgery to suit my shape properly.

Leedlebra I have been searching and searching and searching for reviews of the Sadie, and this sounds perfect for me (I'm high-set to the point my back is very, very v-shaped). I understand you've cut out front boning, but is there a price you'd be willing to part with it for? I'm dying to have one, but I can't afford the $80 new it costs to get one in Australia (given I can find my size).

    • bralesque - I would be more than happy to pass on the Sadie to someone who it would fit better. It is very solidly constructed, and I can see how it would be a great bra, it's just not right at all for my shape. I will send you a private message :)

This bra has a nice lift. When I adjusted the wires away from the sternum into the armpit wire area it began to dig soon thereafter! The bra hasn't been worn very long so I don't know if it will stretch. I do have it on the last hook. Update: Bra is riding up in back due to stretching and quadboob effect is emerging!
