A moulded plunge can be pretty tricky for projected busts, and Koko was no exception, but there's no denying that the cleavage it gives is outstanding!

Thanks for your reveiw. Eliminates another option :-)

I love the new heather gray / magenta colorway of this bra (so casual! so athleisure!), but know that it's WAY, way too shallow to work for me - I have a Cleo Neve that slides right out of my IMF, just like in your photos. It does, however, give me bombshell cleavage in my paltry cup size (30E), so I haul it out exclusively for the deep v / low cut tops.

    • 1

I love the shallow cups of Neve Plunge, it helps me wear more clothes by pulling in and up thus lessening the projection.. but still with a nice shape.. so, I'm hoping this bra will do the same thing :)

I am generally a 28e, and previously had this bra in a 30e. I thought that it gaped at the top so I swapped it away. Then I found this 30f from when I had bought both sizes before and forgot about it. For poops and giggles i tried it on. Surprisingly, it was a better fit. No gaping on top, all tissue is cradled in the cups. 30e must have just been too shallow, which lead to my boobs pushing out the top and causing gaping. Sadly, the wires are just a bit too long, which is a huge shame since i want another seamless bra.

Almost a perfect fit! My breasts have moderate projection, more or less even fullness, and slightly wide roots. If I completely scoop and swoop, I have a slight quad-boob, but my tissue is soft so I can adjust to fix the problem. I think a 30FF would be a better fit, but I'm still quite happy with this bra. I also think the projection is a little shallow for me, but in a t-shirt bra I'm willing to compromise.

This bra will always make me think of the time I saw it in public. A girl working at a hip vegan restaurant in New Orleans was wearing it under a sheer shirt. Such a great way to show off such a unique bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I found a good fit in a 30E Lily, and a good fit in the 30F pink Marcie (runs small?). I just happened to get to try this bra. Most of the fit issues were from at first having the straps too tight, but then the cups were still a too open on top for me. I think I'm truly more of a 30E though, and so a 30E would be better. The wires are also too wide on a 30F for me.

The band on this runs almost a full band size small, it will stretch to 30 but by then the wires are being pulled. It will get to 28.5 without really moving the wires, so if you need a 28 band this may be a good match for you. When I first tried this bra on I had yet to measure it and just put it on. I didn't think it felt ridiculously tight, but the cups were getting distorted. I had so many bras that came in that day I was kind of rushing trying everything on. I thought about it later ... as I measured and realized it might work decently with an extender.
I tried it on again with an extender as loose as it would go since I measure closer to 31 loose. It was a better fit with the extender for sure, but the cups seem like they may be too tall. I'm not sure if maybe it's a cup size too big or if this bra just isn't going to work for me. If I were to try it again I would definitely go up to a 32, but not sure what cup size to try.
Overall it is a cute bra and I like the subtle print.

    • yup, Cleo Neve/Koko feel like they are one full band size smaller than they should be. I can wear a 28 band in the Cleo Marcie/Maddie/Juna just fine, and I can't even put on a Cleo Neve in a 28 band.

    • I got it on and it didn't feel unbearably tight so I didn't even think the band could have caused my other issues. I decided to try it once more since it was kind of close to almost fitting well, before I decide if I was going to list it or not, and realized that the band being so small was the root of all the issues.

  6. Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831)

This review will be updated in the near future as this is my first time taking it out for a spin, and I've only had it on for about 5 minutes

Impression: I actually REALLY wished this bra weren't red when I first saw it. And then I saw the colors they offered for SS '13 and AW '13 and decided I liked red best out of all of them. When I first opened the bag, I wasn't super in love with the red, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I have mixed feelings about the lace at the top. I want to ... say I don't like it, but part of me is reminded somehow of Super Mario Bros. Especially in blue (and especially the briefs) remind me an awful lot of the water levels with Cheep Cheeps.

Fit: The band isn't uncomfortable but it's tighter even than my Meg felt. I took a look at it in the mirror and the hooks are straining a bit, so I think I'm going to buy an extender. If you feel like you're typically on the higher side of your preferred band size, you might want to size up or go the extender route for a while. This is my first time doing this so I don't know how long it'll take for me to stretch it out so I don't need the extender anymore. Straps end in a good place for me, but they are awful hard to adjust. I had to take the bra back off to do it, haha. As everyone mentions, the profile is very round, which I like. The very top of the lace doesn't cut in, but the bottom of the top row (with the fake bows) digs a bit on the left if I squeeze my shoulder blades together. Little boob is gaping a bit, but not much, and sizing up would make that much more apparent. The gore is narrower than my other Cleo bras, which I think is better suited to me.

Quality/buying experience: There are a few stray threads, which I don't recall seeing in either my Lucy or my Zia when I first got them, but they're darker so it's totally possible that I just didn't notice them. The major quality issue I have is that this bra was sent to me missing one of the hook closure things in the second row. I bought it from Breakout Bras at a discounted price through Amazon. Their return/exchange policy states that the purchaser has to cover return shipping, but since they sent me a defective product I emailed them asking if they would send me a prepaid label. However, they were out of my size (and the price had gone back up). They emailed me back and offered to refund me 35% of what I'd paid for the bra, which I decided was a good enough deal to keep. In total I paid about 50% of what the bra is listed for, so, not too bad.

I had some issues fitting into a Freya Deco properly, because my breasts are wider, shallow, and bottom heavy- however, this fit perfectly!

I normally fit in a 30E, but in this I needed a 30F. I advise going up a cup size, but staying the same band size.

    • Thanks so much! I've bought a Freya Deco, in 28F, and my boobs are too bottom-heavy for it (aka I have a bit of bra where there is no breast right at the top) and I was looking at the Jude because it seems like my breast shape...

I've been eyeing this bra for a while, but I finally decided to get it and I'm glad I did. It has a very fun look which I've been missing from my collection for a while now. The cups are made of mesh with an extra mesh lining on the bottom half of the cup which feels nice and soft.

Fit wise, it's pretty good and it gives a natural rounded shape. The band feels really firm, like the Panache Andorra in the same size. My main problem with bras is that the top edge tends to cut into me, but I don't have that problem with this bra. I'd say the cups are a bit taller so I get a bit more coverage. I do have some wrinkling across the top seam, but it's not saggy at all. When I hunch forward (like reaching forwards to stretch) it gapes at the top, but otherwise it's fine.

    • The Lizzie is part of the Cleo George/
Lizzie/ Eleanor/ Sasha/ Alexa line. I can strongly recommend checking out ebay for the Cleo George, that bra is just as good as the Lizzie while the Eleanor has been a bit of a let-down. Also, have you tried the Panache Harmony Balc. and the Panache Sienna? Those are similar to the Lizzie in the ways they handle a lot of volume on top.

    • No I haven't tried the Harmony or the Sienna yet, since I'm looking for more colourful bras at the moments. I'll try them next time. :)

I bought this bra becauase I needed a really plunging bra to go with a low cut shirt. This bra basically does the job.

It's lightly padded and the material is quite soft, like a t-shirt.

The sizing feels really similar to the 30E, but the 30E gave me a double boob and this one didn't. It also gives a nice rounded shape.

    Some things I didn't like:

    - The colour. I'm not a huge fan of magenta, but I thought it was better than the grey.

    - The top embroidery, just doesn't look elegant. I don't think black and magenta go together.

One thing that confused me was that of all the pictures of I've seen of this bra, the models have amazing cleavage and I didn't when I tried it on. I did get a double boob effect with the 30E, but I don't think that's the same as having a proper cleavage.

    • Thank you for being the 1st to post images of this bra! I have not had the chance to see it in person so I hope to order it online. It looks like the cup and wing are very similar to the Masquerade Maia that I own, very cotton-y: http://bra.pe/SKl. This gives me hope it might fit properly. Have you tried the Cleo Jude plunge? (http://bra.pe/SKo) Do you think these two are very similar in shape? I hope so. :)

    • Hi! :) No, I haven't tried the Cleo Jude, so I can't say if the shape is the same unfortunately. If you want to try this bra, I would recommend www.brastop.com since they're a bit cheaper there (and that's where I got mine).

    • I tried this bra and did get great cleavage double boob BUT - that seam is so prominent that it is hard to hide under any sort of thin fabric. (28FF)
Before I found this site, I tried the Cleo Jude in both the 28 FF (waaaay to small in the cup and this is my normal size in the Freya Deco) exchanged for a 30G - Band too Big; Cup oddly proportioned for me - overall didn't fit.

    • mamakhan, I hear you. I learned the hard way that Cleo plunges are just too small for me. I think Panache as a brand run small whereas Freya runs larger. However, Panache wires just aren't shaped for my body. After owning 2 Cleo models (Jude & Alex) and having tried Cleo "Sadie", Panache "Porcelain", "Tango II" and the "Anna" bikini top... None have worked out. My boobs do 1 of 2 things: either just look saggy or spill out the top/quad-boob. I currently really enjoy the non-wired Sophie but so far it's the only soft cup model of any brand I have tried. If you try more Panache def go up 2 cups from Freya. I think I am a GG in them! UGH! ;) :P

    • Actually, quite sad too since Bravissimo have the adorable Cleo exclusive "Karina" plunge which looks like a cross btw Penny & Jude--up to a small-sized G cup. :(

    1. It's a fabric bra, what I like. And I like the design.
    2. It gives to my breasts a horrendous shape. Looking from the front, it's fine. But from the side... The middle is empty, the top of the bra is digging in the breast (a bad bra for fuller on the top boobs?), the shape is "sad". I look, as if i had no breasts in it. I want to ask, if the constructor was drunk, or something, or was he looking only from the front to the bra.
    3. It's comfortable, the bra, the band, etc. I wear it at home, when no one can see me.
    4. I'm not sure, how to put it with the stars.

It really feels like this bra was made for me. It feels very secure. It lifts and pushes me together the way I need a bra to. I’m wide set and shallow.stays put even when running around and I’m so glad I got this before I was unable to. I felt like maybe the cups were too small at first but when I tried the FF it was definitely too big. That seems to happen to me all the time. One size too small the next size up too big or vise versa. I’m still trying to figure out what I need. But this one is probably going to be an everyday type bra. Unless I find something else that works as well

Just a quick review cause I only tried it on and I'm not keeping it...

Shape: Short + narrow rooted, soft, low set.

This plunge bra is a rich navy with purple/pink straps and a lace overlay (see close up). It is too tall for me at the armpit; unless I stand with perfect posture there's some gaping at the upper edges. Straps fully adjustable (adjust long enough for my tall frame), and there are hooks on the straps to make it into a racerback. Deep plunge with a short gore. Band is a true 30". Cups are a bit too wide for me. Good quality. Will pass along...

The Cleo Kayla is pretty and comfortable, like any good bra. The tartan/checker pattern isn't entirely my thing, but it looks so cute with the matching brief that I'd wear it anyway.

What's sad is that this bra didn't fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> In a 30F, it seems to run big in both the band and the cup. It actually fits my larger breast near perfect, but there's gapping and wrinkling in both cups to a certain degree. The issue is that the band rides up immediately when on the tightest hook :/ The stretchy alce in the top of the cup would be perfect if the band weren't disappearing up my back.

The fabric is still soft and fairly comfortable, even the cup fabric is nice and soft and not stiff mesh like many other bras.
It's a little difficult to review a bra that doesn't fit, and that I'm not able to comfortably wear.

Wow, that depth is crazy! I can do that band measurement but not almost 11" of depth. This bra has held my curiosity for a while. Unless I put on more weight, this is telling me that I really need to size down on the cups. It's such a beautiful bra, and I can imagine how cute it is with the matching bottoms. Thanks for the great review!

    • 1

I was told Kayla and Jasmine are similar and yea, in these photos and the way you describe it it does look like they're very similar.

    • Calluna It's super cute yeah! I'd say the depth is too much even for me, but I think it's just this bra specifically.
brasaremean Yeah they're very similar in structure and style, but the Jasmine doens't really run big or small in the cups like this one - in my experience. The Jasmine is an old favorite of mine, the fit continues to be great! This particular bra ran big in the cup and band though, and my 30E Jasmine seems to either run big in the band or stretched out too fast because I can't comfortably wear it. I have a 30F Mosaic Jasmine that fits wonderfully though, so it could have been the black/floral colorway that's extra stretchy. That's been known to happen to certain bras and their colors, one color is smaller in the cups than another.

This review is for the dark purple colourway in 30F. I usually wear 30F unlined, and this one fits just right depth and width wise. I am short and narrow rooted, soft, with some centre and bottom fullness. This bra fits really well, and I find the band fits just about right on my 29" snug ribs. It was pre-loved, so I'm sure it would have been a touch firmer if new, but it's still quite good. The purple-plum colour is pretty, and the shape lives up to my expectations - uplifted, round, and centered. Quite comfortable also - no sore spots after a day of wearing it, and no readjusting needed. It's a keeper!

It's not the perfect fit, but the bra is quite comfy and I like polka dot design so much. The band is closer to 28 and the cups are quite closed on top but true to size. I have some wrinkling at the apex on my smaller side, but it's not visible under clothes. Breasts have very front and center position, but the bra gives not perfectly round shape.
Upd. I've cut out the lining from the upper section of the cup. Zia became more FOT friendly( and sexy, to my mind) and I have more room for my fully days

    • It looks very nice with the lining cut out. I think about doing the same with mine. Does the top part feel less supportive or is it the same fit as before just with a bit more room on top?

    • I never need great support from the upper part of the bra. So I'm not sure about this, but more upper room with the same wire size is always welcome.

    • Thank you!

I also need a bit more room on top in this one.

I've previously described my appreciation for the look and feel of the 32F - Cleo » Morgan Moulded Balconnet T-shirt Bra (9361) on my first try (too large). I stepped down from a 32F to a 30F and I LOVE IT! There is some quadding, but slight enough that I can live with it. Straps are a bit wider than perfect but I don't get any chafing. In my photos you can see that I had the band on the last set of hooks (and was spilling all over out the back). I don't know how it makes sense, but it now fits better (by feel/comfortably snug) on the first set (yay!). In the future perhaps I'll try an FF, but I don't think I have enough going on to go up an entire cup size.

    I. LOVE. THIS. BRA. Holy moly. I was not one of the women who thought that this bra was gorgeous in photos. But that color, and that eyelash lace, when you put it on your body it is GORG. As soon as I put this bra on I was ordering the bottoms to go with it. This is the best fitting bra I have ever had.

The 4-part cup is heaven. So much immediate projection, that wire does not budge from my IMF. The width of the cup is spot on for me. I get a beautiful naturally rounded shape from this bra, not a spherical one that Cleo ... is known for. The top is quite closed off, not quite as much as my CK Bardot, but pretty close. You're going to need very FOB breasts or short roots to make this one work.

If I'm being 100% honest the cup is a teeny hair too small, but you can hardly notice. I have very short roots and it still just barely cuts in sometimes, but not enough that you can tell or that it bothers me. I also get a little bit of wrinkling near the stitching at the top of the cup, but not because it's too big, it seems like a tiny construction flaw maybe? As started in another review, the wires (at least in this size) are shorter than the wire channels by over half an inch, even though the side boning is as tall as the channels. It doesn't bother me, but I find it weird. The sides are quite tall, and that may bother many people, but I don't even notice. I think I am rather low set in addition to having short roots. My tissue starts almost below armpit level. Ideally I would have a slightly narrower or lower gore, because the wires sit on a tiny bit of tissue right at the center, but this doesn't bother me.

This bra may have single-handedly converted me to longlines. It took a couple minutes to get used to it, but I adore the extra security. My breasts aren't going anywhere in this thing. Honestly this bra is so comfortable I didn't even want to take it off to measure it.

Ive been looking to get Marcie in better size than 34D for some time now and when I got my babydoll in 65F I was amazed how it made my boobs to look. However after wearing it today Im little bit concerned about some issues.
First of all, the bra makes my bust looks really nice! I feel like I have boobs, as its not minimising at all but opposite which is great for a soft bra
Secondly, my boobs feel so stable. They dont bounce as this occurs even with some Ewa bras!
Thus, cups looks perfect, the depth is great and theres no wrinkling or gapping anywhere, ... buuut! the strap placement is bit too wide in this size. moreover the cups are too wide and they do annoy especially my right smller side causing red marks due to this fact. Maybe the cups is not really my perfect size? or maybe its not the style I should wear? also wires are unfortunately too wide for me a little. After I took bra, the line was like 0.5cm behind my boobs - i think Im going to bend wires and see how that fits.
The band is perfect for my 73cm underbust - felt little too tight after I put it on, but later was okay. During a day I had episode of itchiness under the band and felt like i need to pull the band a little from my body - and it helped. later was okay with no issues.
Beside the issues with too wide cups I really love the bra - and I think Ill keep it.
However, if cups on the side end too close to my armpits and wires are too wide - would sizing down be a good option? or this may cause quadboobs?
