I think using navy for the base colour and red as the accent colour looks really nice since the red really pops against the dark background. I really like the bird pattern on the fabric and I like how there's a little bird charm on the centre gore as well. For me, the red strip of mesh on the top of the cups really makes the bra, it definitely gives it more visual interest. I would say this bra is very pretty without being frilly.
Other than the look of the bra, the first thing I noticed was that the fabric on the cups is stiff, it doesn't feel itchy, but it's definitely stiff. The second thing I noticed is that the centre gore is pretty narrow.
Fit wise, the band is very firm, maybe the tighter end of a 30. I would not recommend sizing up though. The cups fit pretty well, I don't have a quad boob and there's no baggyness, although I do have some wrinkling right above the top seam.
This bra is absolutely gorgeous. It's light blue and the cups are covered in light green and light pink flower embroidery. The top panel actually feels a bit thick because of all the embroidery (compared to other bras with embroidery on them).
Unfortunately, the shape just didn't work for me. The bottoms of the cups fit fine, but the tops would cut into me and I was left with a small bubble at the top as well. I think this bra may better fit someone who is not as wide at the base of the breast or someone who's fuller on the bottom.
That being said, this is a gorgeous bra, perfect for spring and I'm sad that it didn't work for me.
Panache Cleo Blossom is one of my favorite bras. I was having trouble finding size my size (28FF), so I ordered my sister size. Thankfully, it fits well. I have a small gap at the top of the cup on my smaller side, but not enough to bother me.
This is a good bra both in style and quality, but due to the strechitness of its band, the size is not correct. Even with the band fully stretched, it is not my band size and I have to wear an extender. With the extender it fits tight, but more or less comfortable. I would recommend to sizde up with this particular bra.
See my review of the Asher in 28FF. This one has the same issue with the gore but the lower part is even further away from my IMF. For some reason the lace at the top on this one is wrinkly and looser but the band is more comfortable than the 28FF.
This is the most comfortable bra I've ever owned. When I first got it, it was definitely a bit tight, but now it fits so well. The lace and decoration are really cute without being so pronounced they show through everything I wear.
For reference, I'm very projected/pendulum, full on top, and have very narrow roots.
Im very full on bottom and projected with narrow roots. The straps are still a bit to far apart for my liking but its not painful or uncomfortable to wear. The fabric and elastic is soft and smooth in texture making it very comfortable to wear all day. I do have some weird lumpy bits where the top layer mesh and embroidery is but I've noticed I have this issue with cleo upper mesh in general. The lumpiness isnt overtly noticeable under clothing so its fine. Im not a huge fan of the pattern but its one of the less obnoxious patterns that cleo has so its ok.
This bra has a lot of room in the tops of the cups, even as closed off as they are. The material itself is rough and somewhat scratchy. The stitching was unraveling in several places when I took it out of the bag, which was frustrating given the price. I had really loved the style, but it just doesn’t work for me.
Fantastic bra. This one is a little too small in the cup for me. I'm going to keep the 28G I got & wear with an extender. (30FF would be ideal for me.) The stretch lace makes this so comfortable. The red is very pretty, and the back is gorgeous. The magnet is NOT hard to clasp, or you can just put it on over your head w/o unclasping. A winner!
This is the most beautiful bra (I like bright, unusual color combinations). I am so sad the shape doesn't fit me. The stretch lace is nice, and works well for preventing quadding ....and would probably work great if you have a bigger side.
30E in the Cleo Marcie is too small in band and cup. 30F cup fits better, but quadboobs slightly on my larger breast. The band is tight enough that I feel constricted at all times. The straps didn't adjust long enough, so while wearing the bra it was pulling my shoulder down and made me hunch over. Where the straps attached to the bra was really wide on me, so it would want to straighten out and slip off.
The bra itself didn't chafe or itch.
I would suggest this for people with average projection and high set breasts that want short straps.
I love Cleo's bright yellow and randomly decided I just needed to have a yellow Marcie one day. They were sold out everywhere since it's such an old colorway, but I did find this one on Bratabase. I knew it would be too small soon when I got it (thanks pregnancy!) but I'm sure I'll eventually shrink back down to fit in it. I guess I'll have to update the review when I do.
Edit- over a year later, I’ve finally lost enough weight to fit in it. Still love the bright yellow and the very round shape. I have been unable to wear my 30FF beige Marcie because of ridiculous in-cup quadding that is visible even under a shirt. This Marcie, despite being smaller, does not noticeably have this problem for me.
The Cleo Marcie is one of my all time favorites, and the nude version is only little less favorite than the colorful Marcies. The shape and style is equally great and it fits pretty well.
This colorway is OK. I don't particularly enjoy nude colors in underwear or in general, but it's a Marcie so I like it anyway. The bow at the gore is a lot bigger than all the other Cleo styles I have and I really like it! It even has little dots on it like the bra and I'm such a fan.
The fit is good, not excellent but decent. It seems this 30F is ...a little small for me, even when my boobs are on the smaller side of the cycle. It feels and looks that the cup height isn't as tall as I would like it to be, so I'm more liable to quadding or spilling out of it. The fire doesn't completely tack but it's not a big problem, it's mostly a reflection of that the cups are a little small. Otherwise, the band is comfortable, the wires don't hurt and the straps don't move too much. All in all an OK+ bra. Read more 91 more words
This really is a fun print. It’s a bit wide for me- but I have lots of inner fullness and very little outer. I often prefer bras just under 5” wide, which almost don’t exist in a 30F. It’s a bit too closed off for me at top also. I do better with the Kayla and Lily for example.
This bra in the Animal Abstract Print with black is too tight for me in the band. I tried it on for about 20 mins using an extender in the loosest hook and gore digs in at the top so much. The stretched band goes to 75cm (around 29.5") and not stretched it's about 62.5cm (around 24.5"). If you like a super snug band, or need these measurements, this bra is for you.
The print is beautiful, looks like a starry sky from far away. The lace is very stretchy and open and doesn't dig in, but the bottom of the cups wrinkle a bit on me. Since the band is too tight for me, maybe it's stretching/distorting the wires and fit too much. Overall a beautiful bra, just doesn't fit. I think I would need to go up to a 34 band for it to feel comfortable in this print
I love the colourway, and the cups themselves are comfy, but I really wish the gore was smaller and the straps were all the way adjustable. The gore does a weird thing where one wire rests on the sternum, and the other wire is sitting on my smaller breast.
Love the way this makes my breasts look with the cleavage, but somehow it sits wrong on my ribs over the course of the day and sometimes I have a little gaping at the top of the cups.
I saw this one as well and almost got it.
