As with the other 30F - Cleo ยป Zia Balconnet (6851) bras I've tried, this has a lot of forward projection. This bra is very rounded and so my FOB breasts leave a little wrinkling at the top. The straps were long enough this time and overall the bra seems very comfortable. However, I am uncomfortable with the forward projection and will most likely not keep this bra.
I found this bra on sale on Zulily, and loving the print, and not finding anything that said how it fit, I decided to give it a whirl. Mistake...
So, with that said- This bra is not meant for those even a little FoB. But, due to the to, which comes in close quite sharply, it is (likely- I cant say for sure) equally ill-suited for those vaguely more FoT. In my not-so-educated opinion, it requires a very round and even shape- almost as if designed for girls with breasts that are more like globes rather than the average lumps most of us have.
Also, I can't really imagine it ever working well for a short girl- I'm 5'1, and the underwires were right IN my armpits.
Quite depressing- I find it so beautiful, but there's no way it'll ever work for me.
I've been looking forward to getting this bra in a really long time so I finally was able to pick up a couple sizes to try. This bra is supposed to have the same cut as the Cleo Lucy (5851) but as far as I'm aware it's supposed to be more true to size whereas the Lucy fits small in the cups.
I really like the colour combination, and the embroidery is really pretty. I'm not a fan of the centre bow though; to me it looks a bit cheap. I think I would prefer a bow made out of a matte ribbon or maybe something that isn't a bow. Overall, it fits everywhere except the cups which are too big for me.
The band runs a tiny bit tighter than a 30 band should, but it's stretchy. This bra is so cute and comfy. Adorable color and perfect shape under clothing.
What an odd cup shape. I think that maddie looks really nice in Cleo's promotional pics. The cup really is wide and comfortable hugs my breast under the armpit, but in front it's just a cone with no space for my small and shallow breasts - so, apparently that can happen too. Cups also were too foamy for my taste as I like low-profile bras.
Band were more loose than I thought. But I like the materials and feel of this bra, seems like a quality product.
I can't tell if this bra fits or not. I have had a fair bit of tissue migration since I started wearing it, so it fits slightly better. It is either the most comfortable bra I have ever worn, or the least. The more I wash it and wear it, the better it fits, but the gore does more than tack. It digs in an absurd amount. But after it has been on for a few minutes, I can't feel it unless I am leaning to my side, in which case it cuts off circulation to my arms. I have fairly wideset breasts, but this digs into my arms exceptionally. Like I said, the more I wear it, the better it fits. It will do for now. It does give my breasts an excellent shape, and it is very flattering under tshirts.
I am fuller on bottom and had a little trouble filling the top of the cup. I will try both an F cup and a different shape in future purchases. The fabric pops forward and forms a small gap (<0.3cm) when I move my arms inward. The wire runs a little too high/wide for me and sometimes digs into my armpits. The band is perfect, very supportive.
For the most part, very comfortable and nice-looking; a huge step up from the 32Ds I was wearing before.
I ordered this one because it was suggested for some of my breast shape issues, like a long torso and wide root. I have never bought a bra that didn't have some sort of molding or padding, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect support-wise. When I tried it on, it was clear that the cup size was way too small, with a huge quad-boob effect, which I thought interesting because I have another Cleo bra in the same size that doesn't do that. So, I can't really give a very good review until I get this in a different size. However, other than that, it seems like it would be a good bra. I was surprised at how much support it gave, and it wasn't itchy at all (something I had read in a review and was a little worried about). And it's very pretty. I love the lacy detail. I'm returning this one though, just because I need to go up a cup size (or two!).
What a difference a cup size makes! I traded this for a 30G and this fits so much better. No gapping! Well made, comfortable, and smooth under T shirts. Great bra!
Edit. Although the bra fits well it gives me a much more rounded shape than I would like. I am FOB and have shallow breasts. I think it would work better on someone with deeper breasts.
I love this bra so much more than I expected to!! It is super comfortable.... for real! Unfortunately, I will have to order one cup size up. I normally wear a 30FF, but I've got some quad boob going on with this one. After wearing it for about half an hour my breasts have drifted more and more towards the center adding more quad boob than when I first put it on... So the cup size seems to run a bit small. I will be ordering a 30G. This bra is simple in design, but very cute. It's got thin lace trim ...and the strap color matches the lace color. The lace does not show through, even with a skin tight shirt, (although I did not try it on under a white shirt). The band is soft and stretchy for ultra comfort, but is firm enough to stay in place and not slide up. The gore sits perfectly on my chest where it should. I can not say enough about how comfortable it is!!! (and I'm super picky about clothing needing to be comfortable)... This will easily become one of my everyday bras. I will probably be ordering a few extras to have on hand! Read more 108 more words
I love the style of the Juna. The colorway I chose, strawberry, is vibrant and looks beautiful against my skin and I think it would actually work really well for a lot of skin tones. My under-bust measurement is 29 inches and at a 30FF, this feels nice and firm and becomes exceedingly comfortable after a few wears. The lace trim, on the top of the cup makes this model quite forgiving of size, because I think I probably ought to size up to a 30G for this but get no obvious digging in or line at the top of the cup. However, because it is slightly small for me, I don't get a perfectly round profile either, but rather something that is just a tiny bit squarish. I also find the center gore to be a bit high for my comfort. Not so much when I'm standing, but when I start lounging about, particularly on my back, it digs a little. Despite these two minor drawbacks though, the Juna still makes an overall positive impression on me.
Quadboobing a bit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> oh well, it'll do for now until I can get some better bras. Edit: After wearing it for a day, it feels and looks alright under clothes, but it just fits weirdly. I'm quadboobing And not quite filling out the bottom. I just don't love this bra :/
The fabric of this bra is wonderful and soft, nothing pokes me, and I love how colorful it is. I could wear this bra all day- it lifts well, but is a little on the wide side. I have gaping at the top of my larger breast and can't seem to keep it sitting right under my breasts - it keeps sliding down my rib cage and gives me an orange-in-a-glass-effect. I suspect I have a larger band than I need.
I've owned this bra for 3 months now, and it's still going strong - doesn't seem to have stretched out a lot, nothing is poking out, and the little bow and lace around the edges are still intact. Overall, a very cute and supportive bra (if I got the right band size!)
I really love this bra and it's very pretty but the gore is too high for how close together my breasts are. It digs into my breast tissue and can be really painful if I wear it a long time.
I bought the Juna to try because it received rave reviews from those with shallow breasts, which I think mine are. Unfortunately, the Juna in this size didn't fit very well at all.
On the positive side, the fabric of the Juna is nice and doesn't irritate my skin, and the padding and vertical seams gave me a good shape and lift underneath clothes. The band felt comfortable and didn't dig in.
The downside for me is that the tops of the cups gap like crazy, especially on my smaller side and near the center gore. The cups and the straps go too wide toward the ...top so that the cups and straps dig into my arms when they are at my side.
The most unfortunate problem for me was that the underwire came up too high in the center; it dug into my sternum quite painfully, and since I don't have a lot of fullness or volume in the center of my breasts, there was significant gaping at the center gore. The gore is also too wide for my closer-set breasts. I'd recommend looking at the cup separation measurements listed on Bratabase for the Juna and measure the distance between breasts on yourself to see if it will work for you.
I really wanted to like this bra because I desperately need a t-shirt bra, but it just didn't work with my shape.
I love Lucy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> I have found that generally Cleo unpadded (and even the padded ones in the Leila, Nina family) suit my shape very well. I've experimented with other brands, but I keep coming to the conclusion that Cleo is great for me.
This particular bra gives a very nice rounded shape, and is extremely supportive for such a cute looking, compact bra. Perfect for taking with you if you travel a lot. I have difficult breasts for the center gores to tack, since I have a mild case of pectus excavatum. I know, it's apparently a condition that's more apparent with small boobs, but I guess I have it too. On top of that, I think my boobs are pretty close set, but Lucy has no problems tacking nicely. I love it.
I will be selling this 30FF since it's time for me to move on to 30G's... I'll be buying a 30G one soon.
This band was too snug for me (I usually wear 30 bands, but my underbust measurement has gone up a bit recently). I definitely would need the 32. I only wanted to stretch it to 72cm, but I could *just* put it on without an extender (although I used an extender to judge the fit otherwise).
The tops of the cups were way too empty. I'm not sure if the 32E would work for me or if the shape is just all wrong. The underwire feels extremely sturdy, so this would be a good bra if you find that a lot of underwires are too flimsy. The strip that the hooks are on is fairly thin and the two hooks/eyes aren't placed very far apart.
Otherwise, this is a really pretty bra and I wish it had fit me!
Definitely for the full on top. I thought I was full on top, but it doesn't take much movement at all for this cup to gape. Straps are further apart than is comfortable for me. Otherwise, gives a great, natural yet rounded shape under clothing, and firm fabric feels supportive.
I ordered this in 30FF instead of 28G (I'm kind of between sizes) because I heard the band runs tight, but I think I could have ordered a 28.
Fabric is a little scratchy. Hopefully that'll change after a few washes.
