I typically wear a 30G but I heard that I should go up in the band and down in the cups for this. Unfortunately, I think that a 30G would have fit much better as I felt that the back was too stretchy and the gore wasn't flat. My tissue is soft and even to full on top, and also very projected, so it could have been a shape mismatch with the moulded cups, but I'm going to try a 30G or 32FF and see how that works for me.
I think that this bra is really cute and the band is stretcher than the Cleo/Panache ones that I'm used to. It was very comfortable and didn't dig in despite my flared ribs.
Short, somewhat projected, even, closet set, center full, omega-shaped breasts...
I adore happy bras, and this bra causes me to smile. Cool turquoise, cobalt blue, and violet are combined with warm greens and salmon pink. The straps are partially adjustable. If you are high set, you may not be able to adjust them short enough without an alteration.
Cups are cotton-flocked foam covered by the polyester watercolor masterpiece https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Lace along the top of the cup is non-stretch and can accommodate somewhat taller roots than I have (that might include everyone https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> ). Apparently, the lace edge ...is a fit issue for many of us. I expect to see it phased out in future models.
Sadly, like 100 other bras, this pushes down quickly and causes a burning sensation within 10 minutes of wear. Only one bra has not caused this burning sensation, B.Tempted B.Wow'd. Because I am omega-shaped, I need a narrow top and bottom gore width or an unusually low gore. Otherwise, the fit is supportive and the shape delightfully rounded and lifted.
I would recommend this bra for average to projected, short, narrow to slightly narrow, and even to FOT breasts. Truly, it is a smile-generating Cleo creation https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Read more 110 more words
About me: 30FF/G but can also sister size up to 32F/FF. My shape is close set and projected with even fullness and very short, narrow roots.
This bra fits me pretty well, but I think that a 30G or 32FF would fit better. The cup is a little tight on my larger breast, but the gore still lays flat and I don't really have quad boob on my smaller side. The wires are only slightly too wide for me and short enough that they aren't uncomfortable (possibly because I sized down). The shape of this works very well for my Even breasts and doesn't cut in. Like all ...of the Cleo bras that I've tried, the straps are a little too wide so if you have really narrow shoulders you may need a racerback extender. The center gore is close, still not close enough for my really close set boobs, but it's low enough that it doesn't dig in too much. This is comfortable enough that I'll keep it, but it probably won't be a go to bra for me unless I find a larger size.
I think that this almost fits like a cross between Lily and Hettie. it gives a rounder profile than Hettie, but not completely round. Read more 102 more words
Cleo Lucy 32F - one the recommended list for FoB. The band was so tight I had a hard time thinking. No wrinkles on the bottom though! Looks like I need a larger cup and larger band. Maybe 34F?
I quadboob in this remarkably, partly because it's a cup size too small, but I feel like it must be more than that! It's supposed to be the most open on top fit, so I assume it's actually too shallow in the bottom for me and that's pushing everything up. Hettie fits better, even in the same (too small) size.
Really good fit but I get some quadding when I swoop and scoop fully. In the pics I can see some wrinkling on the bottom but it doesn't seem to be a problem when it comes to comfort, and it's definitely a better fit than the more shallow-on-bottom/full-on-top Marcie. One size up should be perfect.
I think it is very beautiful. I love the colour. The band runs big and I should had bought the 30G as I am between sizes. I will eventually alter the band because it is new and I already fasten it in the second hook. Rides a bit in the end of the day. Cup runs a little small. Looks well under clothes, gives great round shape and creates a nice cleavage.
Gives very nice rounded shape. The fabric wrinkles a little bit on the sides and on the top of my right cup (less fuller at the top brast). Very confortable, gives nice projection and hight all the day.
This bra was a great buy for me. The fit is great (I struggle with bras that come too high up or with too wide a gap between cups). The bra sits perfectly in position on me and can be comfortably worn all day long.
As with my other @Cleo bras (@Tilda and @Kayla), my one quibble is with the stretchiness of the band. I am a fairly standard 32 band, but I found I had to go to the tightest hooks right away with the Marcie. There is perhaps a little tissue disappearing under the band that I would ideally like to be contained in the cups.
I would certainly buy this bra again in future but might try sister sizing down to a 30FF.
Band and fabric on this bra are STIFF. Chose to use extender for repeat wear for photos, since this is definitely going back. I really liked the UW fit – it’s a good match for my shape, if a bit small. I don’t have wrinkling along the UW like I do in the Panache main line bras. I did not like the shape this gives my breasts - they flatten out at the sides due to the bra construction, which creates an unattractive silhouette. I also felt like this moved my breast tissue too far to the center. I can’t imagine wearing this thing all day – I was uncomfortable for the short times I tried it on and took photos. It’s going back.
Band on this bra is STIFF. Chose to use extender for repeat wear for photos, since this is definitely going back. I really liked the UW fit - this is the closest thing to a match to my shape that I've found. Unfortunately the top lining is super weird and loose even though the cups aren't, so probably better for someone more FoT. I did not like the shape this gives my breasts - they flatten out at the sides due to the bra construction, which creates an unattractive silhouette. Finally, I felt like this moved my breast tissue too far to the center. Not a keeper. I'm not even confident this was a good size/fit, but I don't like this bra enough to work at figuring that out.
I really like most of the cleo bras. This one gaps a little at the lace but it isn't noticeable under clothes so I don't mind. I wish the gore was a little lower but it works for most shirts. The fabric is very soft!
I acquired this in a swap, knowing I needed to play around with my size and having worried myself into a case of letterphobia as weight lifting continues to push me toward a size 34/75 ribcage. And, well...
This is a very pretty feminine bra -- but the shape is all wrong for me. My breasts are more wide set and spill out of the outside edges of the cups no matter how much scooping I do. The center gore is also too tall for my liking. Another mystery is the lace along the top of the cups - I fill out the cups completely but the lace edging gaps a bit. This seems to be the norm for this style. I believe this bra would be better suited with someone with close-set breasts.
A pretty good fit and really comfortable. I'm a 30FF and I have it in 32F so the band is a bit too wide but it's not bad for everyday use. There's good immediate projection and a lot of projection overall. The ribbon usually sits on my breast tissue but the part above it kind of protrudes, but it's not a big deal. Fabric is comfortable, straps are fully adjustable. I like the color. The dark blue looks like it has a slight purple tint.
I think I could possibly go a cup size larger in this bra but I like the way it looks. The color is so rich! The only downside is because it comes up high under my armpits, it shows through a lot of the arm holes of my shirts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The band was pretty scratchy when I first got it, but after a wash it is a little softer. I have read this is a common problem with Cleos because they starch them a lot at the factory. I hope it softens up more after a few washes.
This bra is the most open on top of all the Cleo bras I've had, including Lucy, Lily, Bella, Meg, and Melissa. The lace on top is loose on me. I am average to full on bottom, but can fill full on top bras by sizing down. This fits most like the Meg in the cups, and most like the Melissa in the band. I love it, and wish it was a bit more closed on top.
