Pros: The cup is the perfect depth for my shallow lower/full upper breasts. It gives a nice round shape. Surprisingly the upper section laid flat against my breast.
Cons: The band is a little tight initially. There is slight material wrinkling near the seam between the lower two sections and the upper section of fabric.
First off, the band is SO tight. I can barely fasten it. Nothing an extender can't fix, though. I get a tiny amount of wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, and empty space at the top of the cup on my smaller side (it fits my larger side quite well). I'm glad I didn't size up in the cup on this one, it would've been too big. Also, this bra has the noisiest wires I've ever heard!
The cup size is good, but the straps are too short! I have the exact same issue with the Cleo Juna. I have them as long as they'll go, but they're still incredibly painful. Pity, since this is such a pretty bra.
I have to wear an extender with this bra, the band is so tight. The main issues I have are a little bit of quadboob, and the cups are cut a little too high near my underarms, so it rubs there. Because of the slight quadboob, the top edges of the cups show under my scrubs. Pity. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Really firmly tacking center gore. I usually have problems with center gore tacking due to an angled ribcage that sticks out more towards the bottom but as customary to unpadded Cleos this tacks like a champ.
Beautiful rounded uplift, great projection. The upper edge has none of the Meg cutting in nonsense. Really great for projecting even breasts.
The first thing I noticed about this bra was how high the wires came up on the sides, because it felt like it was sawing my arms off! I'm a narrow-shouldered girl, and if I adjusted the straps to a comfortable height (a height where they weren't constantly falling off my shoulders) then the problem was even worse. The wires also seem to be too wide for me, b/c although when I first put the bra on I'm spilling out a little bit, as the day goes on my boobs fall onto the sides. Personally, I prefer bras with three hooks instead of two, so that was also ...a hitch for me, but there were so many other problems with this bra that I let that one slide. The band runs quite tight (I only ever wear this with an extender) so I would advise sizing up in the band if you get it. I also have a lot of empty space at the bottom that I just can't fill, and whether this is a size or shape issue I'm unsure of. Because the band is tight the center gore digs in and is quite uncomfortable, especially for long periods of time. I think this bra was just the wrong shape for me, which is a pity because it's a fine t-shirt bra for those looking for one. Read more 120 more words
The wires in this bra are WAY too tall. Where the cup goes around the side and under my arm is so tall that it folds or buckles because it is too tall for me. The cups pull my boobs apart and gives me a kind of pointed shape. This is not a bra that works for my shape at all. The cups seemed to be the correct size otherwise. The band seems to fit okay.
I agree with the other reviewer about this bra -- it gives great shape, and fits deeply at the gore. It's an odd sensation, since I'm used to mashing my boobs down into DDs*. But, the effect is very pretty. I do notice one little wrinkle in the lace section along the top of the right cup, but I think that has more to do with a slight miss in construction, rather than cup size. The band is snug but comfortable on the first row of hooks and the straps are a good balance of width for comfort and style. Overall, it feels a little stiff, but I ...don't expect complete comfort from such a decorative bra.
(*This is my first correctly sized bra, I've been wearing 36 D/DD for 5 years, 36C before that, and wondering what the heck is wrong with my boobs for never fitting well in what's offered at the standard stores. Low and behold: Saved by correct sizing!)
**Con: After wearing the bra for two days, I think that the gore is a little too wide for me and not padded enough. I have abrasions on the inside flesh of my boobs on both sides. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 99 more words
This bra gives a very forward shape and feels very supportive. I liked the print but the top half of the cup in lace was a bit too big for me as it wrinkled up.
This bra is pretty comfortable. The center gore doesn't dig in like on the Juna. It is a little high on the side, but it's smooth, so it doesn't hurt. Plus the design is super cute. The cup seems to run a bit small, but my breasts were a bit swollen on the day I tried it on, so it might fit better at a different time in my cycle. The shape it gives is different from what I'm used to in a t-shirt bra; a little narrow, but certainly not pointy. Overall I like it, but I might need a cup size up.
The cup volume of this bra seems okay, but the lace trim does not lay flat. The gore is too high and digs into my sternum, and the cups cut into my armpits. It is pretty though, for a basic bra, and I like how it moves my breast tissue to the front instead of letting it hang out by my armpits.
What a lovely summer bra! This, like the Cleo Melissa, Meg and Natasha, fits deep through the centre and provides a lot of support. I sized up in the back (the band is quite firm) and up in the cup (as is the way with Cleo, I've found) and the fit is fantastic. Front-and-centre, lifted, well-supported. I do love this bra shape. I hope that Cleo continues to make bras of this quality, with this shape, for quite a while.
I've lusted after this bra and found a good deal on ebay. Since I have put on a little weight I thought I would try a G cup. My Lucy in FF is giving me slight quadro-boob at the moment but unfortunately it proved too big in the cup. I probably should have known since I have a George in 30G that fits in the cups (need to use an extender though). Well, too bad. Didn't return it since they didn't have it in 32ff and now consider trying to make the cups smaller since I got it really cheap and would very much like to keep and use it. Could of course come in handy as a back up if my weight changes.
