The red color is darker than I anticipated it to be (in real life, it's a darker maroon than pinkish red), and the white is not as bright because of the red lining on the cups, but the fit is spot on for Comexim. The fabric lining the cups is super soft, and the support and shape is wonderful. For sizing reference, I wear a UK 32H/34GG and purchased this in my usual Comexim 75J. The cups are perfect, and I was able to wear the band on the second hook immediately. So it is stretchy, but not incredibly so. Overall, I would still recommend!
Beautiful bra. Not as cleavage-y as my beloved Iris but she's a cup too small. Lace is above the cup, not as in picture on website but I don't mind. Bright blue. Narrow/deep cups. Lowish gore. Band is firm. Hubby actually picked this one out so I'm very pleased it fits.
My boyfriend and I have both been away from the house we are renting for Christmas and have only recently come back, so I was just able to try on the Comexim bra he ordered me for a Christmas present today. He purchased the black Comexim Basic from Wellfitting.com - I told him the size I should be using their sizing system (32K - I am usually 32H/HH in Panache and Curvy Kate) and gave him some suggestions but also the freedom to pick out something he'd like.
Unfortunately it didn't fit, so I guess this confirms the rumours that I've heard about the Basic running ...about a cup small. The band felt quite firm as well, probably more like a 30 - so the 32K/70K in the Basic seems to run more like a UK 30H. I was sad that it didn't fit me, as it looks like a really attractive and well-made bra! The wires feel great, really firm and supportive, maybe on par with/a little firmer than Panache wires. This trial bra also confirmed my suspicions that Comexim's padded plunges are perfect for my shape - I have the 'omega' shape where my boobs are fuller and wider than the point where they are attached to my body, and also a pretty tall root - I have tissue reaching nearly to my collarbone. My breasts are additionally extremely close set, and the gore was perfect - no digging at all! The fit was nearly perfect on my smaller breast, so I could tell the shape was great - rounded and uplifted - and it gave a nice amount of cleavage without leaving me feeling jiggly like my Freya Deco Honey sometimes does.
I didn't get a chance to do any measurements - my boyfriend has packaged the bra up straight away to ship back for an exchange for a 32L/70L - but I wanted to write something that would hopefully help anyone who is thinking of ordering a Basic. I would definitely choose your larger band size if you are between two, or size up if you prefer a less firm band - although I usually prefer to wear 32s while measuring at 30, I will be ordering this in the 32L rather than a 34K from Wellfitting as I don't wish the band to stretch out and become too big for me, and also because the 32K felt firm but not uncomfortable. In the event that the band hurts me after extended wear as opposed to just trying on, I will use an extender.
I hope this is helpful to anyone thinking about trying the Basic despite not being able to provide measurements! I think it's a great bra and I'm looking forward to being able to wear it in the correct size for me. Read more 363 more words
Again, like the Luna, a very comfortable and very beautiful bra, but I overestimated my cup, so they're unwearable (by me). Definitely plan to try Comexim in the future, once I nail down my current size!
If you sell this, please let me know! I would love to buy it.:D
Nayanya yes, I'm thinking I need a 75H/HH, although I'm wondering if the cups are too tall for me even then. I'm going to wait a bit until I can nail down my size in Cleo and figure it out then.
ginganinja Yes I'll message you when it goes up for sale, probably tomorrow!
SO not the right size for me. Band is fine, but the cups are too tall and too deep. Finally figuring out my Comexim size. 70 something. Probably GG or H if they come in that?
I'm sad.
Pics, measurements, further review to come during my flurry of Bratabase updates and listings in mid-January. Hooray!
Ingrid is such a lovely bra! It should fit someone in the 26FF range (or 28F, maybe with an extender till the band stretches out more), who has narrow roots, some immediate projection, and FOB-even breasts. The custom lower cup height is ideal for persons who have high-set breasts, narrow shoulders, or a petite frame.
My current best fit is Ewa M in 60F CH,CHP. My main problem with comexim bras are that I have too much immediate projection, and my breasts are too heavy for the cup, so it pushes the wire down. My breasts aren't very self-supportive, and tend to weight the cup down.
I got the sizing wrong, having only ever tried the comexim basic before, but I'm happy with it all the same.
On my 29 inch underbust, the 65 band fastens, but I find it more comfortable with an extender, so will buy a 70 next time. Much more open up top than the basic, so in spite of the low gore, I don't seem to be spilling out of it, even though I'm center heavy.
I would prefer the gore were a little more narrow at the base, but that's a very common complaint for me and I think I technically can wear this bra ...without altering the gore.
I get a little gaping up top, which makes me think I might do better in 70HH than 70J the next time I order, but I'm not completely positive yet.
The wires are perfect, the depth at the bottom of the cup is very comfortable. The whole structure feels very stable and I think will be a really good bra for me in the right size. 65K is not that size, even though that's the size I would have needed in the Comexim Basic if my breasts weren't too tall for it (the top of the bra curved in a way that cut into tissue even in the proper size on the basic).
Will definitely keep the comexim full cups on my list. Read more 127 more words
Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, and straps are less on the edge of my shoulders than some other bras. The cup height is incredibly too much for my vertically short, FoB, high set boobs, so it is very hard for me to gauge how the cups fit since the top half is empty and nearly sitting at my collarbones. I have the straps adjusted to maximum shortness, so if I were to keep this bra, ...the straps would ultimately be too long. Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely.
Based on my experience with this bra, I will request reduced cup height for any future Comexim orders. The shape, uplift, and comfort are definitely worth giving another size a try!
**My sizes for reference: UK 32J/JJ; Ewa Michalak Sm 70JJ/75J; Ewa Michalak Pl 70K/75JJ. I am FoB, close set, high on chest, and have soft tissue.** Read more 83 more words
I ordered a Comexim Basic in Beige with custom straps with added length, since I often times have trouble with straps not adjusting long enough for me. I went with a 70HH. I have one other comexim that is a 70J, that is just a teeny bit too large in the cups. I was very impressed with the customer service, and how quickly I recieved the bra. I had heard that it could take upwards of a month from when the order was placed. I placed my order on Sept 10, and recieved it Sept 26! (I live in the US)
The bra is beautiful, and very well ...constructed. Others have reported the material to be scratchy, but actually find it incredibly soft. The seems aren't very noticeable under clothes, so I think it will be a great every day bra. From other bratabase users' photos it looked like the material might be really shiny, but in real life it's just a subtle sheen.
So onto the fit: I am typically a 30GG or 32G in UK brands, though I tend to be on the larger end of those sizes in the cup. I have a 70J blue magic that was a teeny bit too big, but the 70HH basic is just a little too small in the cups. I don't get quadboob, but the boobage tries to escape a bit out of the sides (a problem I don't have with the 70J). I am pretty happy with both sizes. The wires are narrow, and are very close to sitting on breast tissue for me. I don't think I could go any narrower. I like them as is though. The straps are really stretchy, which I don't think is the best for support, but they definitely adjust long enough for me which is great! The band is perfect for me. (My snug underbust is 30.5", I often prefer sizing up to a 32 band). It feels a bit tighter than a true 32 band, but not quite as snug as a 30. The cups give a really uplifted look, very front and center. The shape isn't as round as Ewa Michalak or the freya deco. It's more natural, but definitley not pointy. Oh yea..this is the only bra that gives even better, more natural cleavage than the deco.
Overall, this bra is beautiful, comfy and functional for everyday life. I was really impressed with Comexim's turnaround time. The price was good too ($45 including shipping). I definitely recommend this bra and company https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 321 more words
The good: The band fits wonderfully and for the first time in a long while or possibly ever, the wires are actually a fantastic fit. I've been having issues with wire width, and this was the first bra that encased my breasts properly. So the band and the wires fit fantastically.
The not so good. I fill out the lower 2/3-3/4 of the bra and then it gapes badly. I'm not sure if this is from shape issue and not having enough upper pole fullness or if it's from the fact any type of measurements I do seems grossly over estimates my size, and I'm actually much smaller than ...what I measure. Also the cups are really tall too, which is kind of a bummer; but this isn't something that surprises me since I am extremely petite.
I absolutely love the color and feel of the bra; it's so soft and comfortable! I am feeling confident that this brand as well as any other bra with similarly narrow cups is the way for me to go. I just need to pin my cup size down better! Read more 76 more words
This bra was a custom order - the majority of the Comexim bras stop at an L cup in the 70 band. Based on the sizing chart, it seemed that that was likely going to be one cup size too small, so I emailed Comexim to see if it was possible to have a bra made in 70M (keep in mind, these are EU cup sizes). In the email, I included the fact that I wanted a 70 band, and that the difference between my underbust/bust measurement was 36cm. I received a prompt response from Anna, saying that yes, it was possible, and she agreed ...that we should start with a size 70M. The price was the same as for a regular bra (130 zoltys) and shipping was an additional 20zl. The total came out to just over $46 CAN.
I believe I ordered this bra on May 17th. It shipped on May 27th, and arrived June 4th - I was incredibly impressed with that!
Now - as for fit - this bra is *almost* perfect in the cups! (and have I mentioned yet how freaking gorgeous it is?!?) The underwires sit right along my inframammery fold, and definitely no stabbing of my armpits! The only downside, when I scoop & swoop, I get a bit of spillage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> (not enough to warrant selling/returning this though!)
The band definitely is a true 70/32 - it maxes out at 32.5" fully stretched. One thing I noticed, and I'm not sure if this is common with Comexim, is that the hook/eyes are switched! I feel like I have to learn how to bra again! So confusing trying to hook it up backwards https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" />
I'm going to be ordering the Magic Blue from Comexim as well I think, although I might go with a 75M in that one, as this band is super snug, and it looks like I need a bit more space in the cups. Read more 240 more words
OMG, you are right, that bra is freakin' gorgeous! Thanks for posting all about your ordering process (and wow, what a reasonable price!) How does this compare to EM, btw?
This bra didn't feel *quite* as good of quality as EM (ie, I noticed the girls bounced a bit more when going up/down stairs, and the lining fabric maybe not quite as luxurious) but it's definitely not poor quality at all! And it's so gorgeous i'm definitelt keeping it! I've been drooling over this and the Magic Blue for a couple months now - definitely worth the $46 (incl shipping) in my books!
The band in this was a bit more narrow as well (even though it has 3 hooks, they're spaced closer together) as were the wires - so far, EM wires sit about 1cm away from my fold under my arms, while these were perfect width the whole way. They give a similar shape - very rounded. The plunge is definitely deeper, which is fantastic for some of my tops.
I think EM is still my favourite of the two, overall, but the look of this and Magic Blue win hands down in the design area - these are probably two of the most gorgeous bras I've ever seen! I'm going to be adding the matching panties for both bras when I order the Blue :)
Perfect. That's everything I wanted to know! :) I have also been lusting over the Magic Blue. I'm glad to hear the plunge is a little deeper; I have issues with my EM plunge showing in a few of my tops as well.
Good job on pretty much figuring out your Comexim size on your first order, too! That's good to hear their customer service was very helpful.
This Comexim bra is absolutely gorgeous. This was my second order from Comexim and I was pretty excited to get it because I also decided to get the matching briefs. The color of the lace is a subtle black-brown with brownish-red on top of a cream base. The cream fabric underneath the lace has a matte finish. I tried to get photos of the bra in natural light so you could see how lovely it is when the light hits it.
The cut of the Geisha is very much like the other Comexim "plunge" styles I have. Unlike plunges in other brands, the cups feel very ...supportive and my breasts feel very enclosed, like they're not going anywhere. The gore comes up slightly higher than most plunge style bras. It is similar to Ewa Michalak's S line. The cups are nice and deep: if you are looking for a narrow cup that offers good projection, then this is the bra for you. The tops of the cup encase the breast tissue up there without cutting into the tissue. The underwires don't stab me in the underarm. Actually, if they were ANY lower, they would be too low. The placement of the straps is also ideal for my shoulders.
This is a comfortable bra with a nice firm band. It stretches to just about 31" so I don't know if that is quite true to size. I wouldn't say the band is super-stretchy because the lace pattern extends to the band area (which is a nice touch). I'd say the Comexim Magic Blue's band is slightly stretchier.
Comexim in general is a very promising brand, and I'm totally sitting on my hands to stop myself from ordering another set already! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> Read more 192 more words
My first impression of this bra was OH MY GOSH it is lovely and it is huge! I definitely overshot my size, moreso in this than the other bra. It is well constructed, and the band is firm so even though it was too big it didn’t really ride up. It’s so big on me that I can’t really evaluate what shape it gives. The wires are really narrow, and it’s awesome! All my other bras seem to want to shove my boobs under my armpits, but the Comexim encircle all my tissue and end where they should. I highly recommend this if you find yourself bothered by ...too-wide underwires in most brands. The appearance of this bra is just unmatched in my opinion. I don’t mind softcup bras as much as some, but this made me realize how much I missed lightly lined/padded cups. I can’t wait to get this in the right size. How it works with my shape: Being FOB means I need to size down a little bit. The plunge is great for being close-set. Nothing stabs or pokes. In the right size, this has potential to be a Holy Grail bra. Read more 86 more words
I totally agree! This evening I just got my order from Comexim. Unfortunately, I also ordered one size too big, but the bras are both (also ordered the Jasmine bra) extremely comfortable! I will exchange them for a smaller cup size. For me, the 60 band is also a bit too wide in this bra. The Jasmine bra is more snug in the band and actually also less big in the cups. To me though, I think Comexim might win the challenge with EM.
I bought this hoping for a nude t-shirt bra and it’s not going to work for that, so when I order again I will probably go with a different style. The seams are too prominent and it gives the green shape almost to an extreme, which looks sort of odd with my already high-set breasts. If my kiddo hasn’t eaten for a while, I can fill out the left cup but the right one is just way too big no matter what. This is a really lovely bra, for being “basic”. It has bow details on the straps and the gore, with tiny faux pearls sewn to the middle ...of each bow. The lace detail is nice, and it you’re wearing a shirt that can hide the seams the lace and bows shouldn’t show, either. How it works with my shape: As I mentioned, the shape it gives is not necessarily desirable when breasts already start right underneath my collarbones. If you want a lot of lift, this would be a great choice. My breasts appeared more like FOT when scooped and swooped into this bra. Read more 76 more words
Love this bra! Comexim is seriously my new favorite brand at the moment. This bra is beautiful and fits perfectly. I can't even describe how nice this is. If you can even believe it, this is so much prettier in real life than in the pictures. The lace is simply beautiful.
Fit-wise, the wires on this are very very narrow and the cups are very deep, which is perfect for my shape. The band is comfortable and firm (I usually wear a 28GG, but went up a band size with this). To find my cup size, I just went by their sizing chart and got it right on the ...first try when I ordered a 65J Tosca bra from them. The fit and shape between the Tosca and the Juliette is the same, but the cups come up about an inch higher in this bra.
The shape gives me a lot of uplift and separation.Very perky in profile. The only bra I own that I can compare this to in terms of shape is the new S shape from Ewa Michalak. I feel that the quality is better, though, so far with this brand and the design is more in line with my aesthetic.
Other things to note, the seams are very flat with this bra, and the lace doesn't show under a thin top. Fully adjustable straps. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase =) Read more 129 more words
For reference : soft, more FOB, narrow, projected, slightly pendulous breasts (also, I have found that with my shape I have the best fits in half cups) I looove this bra ! I actually find the color/design even more flattering in person, it looked more beigey/off white on the site but in person I find it's a really nice slightly pink toned beige which looks super flattering. The only downside is that it's veryyy slightly too small in the cups but because it's a half cup it can handle a little more tissue and it still looks great ! The band is slightly too small/tight but I don't mind ...as I'll just wear it with an extender until it stretches out a bit. Super comfy, and really nice support ! I find because Comexim bras (even with my alteration of 3cm deeper cups [I probably should increase that by a bit as well] aren't as projected as Ewa bras, they give a more 'shelf-like' projection yet still a nice round shape and therefore I find it gives a bit more support as my boobs aren't jiggling around as much as in an Ewa. Probably the most comfortable bra my boobs have ever graced to wear, seriously feels like air ! (Side note, it also seems kinda odd to me that ginger being one of the 'problem bras', fits so well and another problem bra: Rita (in a 3HC as well), fit so poorly with it being a size too small at the same size, and being significantly not as projected/more shallow).
2024 Update: Cups are definitely too small/band too tight effect, feels like a tight band and wires hard and digging in. Read more 171 more words

Settle in for a triple helping of SIZE STRUGGLE confusion, because there's just a lot going on for me around this bra and comexim that makes both indispensable but also UN-understandable. Like words will not be able to convey how great this stupid thing is, but also gods why always the weirdness juggling proportions and sizing?
It's breakout bra tag reads 28J, on their site listing they claim that this is a comexim 60M.
Treasure's underwire is pretty undersized for anything over comexim 60J, the frame seems more like their 60K/L territory, the band was always pretty lax as it's a swim top not a hook closure bra, ...tallish gore and wing, while it's very projected cups made it sort of a weirdo like the Jasmine 2, so I really don't know what this is.
As I bought it before ordering custom from comexim I'd been wearing 28GG in freya, 28H in cleo and ewa michalak, 28HH in panache, 30G in empreinte, and trying not to wear out my 32G katherine hamiltons all the time... I cautiously studied and came to the conclusion I should be going for comexim sizing of 60J (looool what hubris). Seeing as my 28H/HH breakout bra comexim orders ran rather high and tight I bought this in a subsequent order. It arrived and it's lower cup fit well while the top gaped like mad. It looked quite a bit larger than the rest of my purchases so wasn't quite sure what to make of the sizing on the tag and sort of forgot about it after sizing out of the rest of the comexims I'd ordered from breakout in that time frame. Actually that was custom 60M (made to fit as a very short 60N) Arletta's fault when my custom orders arrived, but we digress.
All of that said... current depth is now about 12.25 and the wires more like 6" apart, from all of the wear that it accrued during the awkward phase last winter when my custom comexims began to feel pinchy & do underwire witchcraft around the end of my cycle, before I'd bought larger katherine hamiltons to suffer in. It's much closer in depth to my 30KK 3HC Belen than 28HH breakout bra comexims bought around the time of Treasure's purchase. Despite several years of endless creeping growth, I've never become used to the funny quirks of the new size I find myself in. Basically meaning I'm not sure if the typical foam they use just stretches out more easily in bigger cuts if it's not bonded to another fabric? Or if it's a stretchy swim top thing going on. It doesn't seem normal for any of the previous comexims I've worn, or I'd have been able to wear them much longer than I had.
Treasure is a typical 3 piece cup with 2 panels in the lower cup, and an upper panel with a pretty open cut above for a full on top shape. There's a bunch of 'hidden depth' in the upper part of it's outer panel, tucked away by the elasticated armpit gathering. Sneaky. Despite being a basic balconette with a tallish gore, it's still a bit on the plunge side and fits more inner full, rounded, less push uppy or pointy. Treasure's outer facing is a sturdy but slinky shimmery mesh sport spandex artistically gathered along the lower inner panel near the gore. Even when the cups weren't large enough any more, the gathers didn't become pulled flat which was a nice surprise, still having the decorative detail to distract from what a weird thing it looked like on, otherwise. Everyone else it's probably killer on but me, well no. Full coverage granny hours, in old school glimmery matte black spandex looks kind of garish so I avoid using it as anything but a bra when needed. Read more 542 more words
about 1 size too big? I'm guessing. :)
