    Didn't fit

This is my second foray into Comexim after I outgrew the first one and was down to one ill-fitting Cleo Lexi that'd stretched out really fast, and a Boux Avenue that wasn't far behind.

The Good: Again a great snug band. Fits my 27 inch ribcage like a dream on the loosest hook. Comfort wise it's like wearing nothing at all (cue the stupid sexy Flanders GIF) even after a long hospitality shift. I'm narrow-rooted, close-set and centre-full and the wires and gore are both narrow enough for me. The tartan fabric is adorable and a very rich emerald green. The straps are wide enough for traction but not ... nanna-esque. Even with the slight cup size underestimation I've made again, I don't have to adjust my boobs at all in this bra after the initial swoop and scoop. They stay exactly where I put them (looking at you, Cleo Lexi) and the gore doesn't ride up and sit on the tissue on my big side (looking at you every other bra I own.)

The Bad: I've managed to underestimate my cup size again, though in my defence I think the padded plunges run shallow and I seem to be growing very slowly so that I don't notice it until suddenly I realise I have hot-cross bun boobs in all my bras... There's a decent bit of quadding on my big side and the bottom of the cups collapse a little even on my small side, so in this cut I probably want a 60H. I get the teensiest bit of jiggle in it, so someone without my rock-hard tissue would probably find it wobbly.

The Ugly: Nothing. I truly love this bra.

I'm going to try re-ordering a couple of bras in a 60H now and see how I go. The month turn-around is tedious, but this is the best fit I've ever had and I'm seriously ready to burn that Cleo Lexi.

Comexim is a brand that is hard for me to fit but this one was custom made so the cups don’t dig into my arm pits. It’s got cookie pockets as well. Very pretty bra.

I have narrow/tall roots, even, center full, projected boobs. The wires sit right in my IMF with no extra space even on the sides. The cups are a tiny bit too small - the 3HCs run shallower than the Comexim Plunges (I wear 60H in those) - so there is some quadboob, esp. on my larger boob, but the vertical seaming makes the quadboob result in cakes-on-a-plate cleavage for me. Would I wear this under a tight shirt for a seamless shillouette? No. But sometimes I want cakes-on-a-plate when wearing a lowcut shirt and so I will be keeping this bra.

The bra itself is beautiful and comfortable, as all Comexim's are.

This is a beautiful bra, and the quality is terrific. I was curious to try 3HC from Comexim after hearing that it was comparable to Ewa Michalak CHP. However, it does not fit me.

The band is VERY tight. Too tight for me. At size 65 it doesn't even stretch to 70cm without causing wire distortion.

The wires are a decent width, but there is not enough depth in the cups and certainly not enough projection at the wire for me. I do not get a tack. Either cups are open at the top or they simply look that way on me because my breasts can't sink down into the cups.

Straps are a good width; cups are a good height. No digging in under my armpits.

It's a beautiful bra...for a 3HC lover who needs a tight band. I am going to list it right away.

Belen is small in the cups compared to their other half cups, so I wouldn't give up on their half cups just yet!

    • I just don't see the point on taking any more risks...they dont accept returns and I know that CHP works well.

    • 1

That's true. It's really only "do you like this fabric?" and the price. I've had so many Ewa fails lately that spending $60+ for an unwearable bra is ridiculous. Comexim's prices sting less.

    • I second @Sovavosi's comment. At least Comexim is less of an expense if it doesn't work.

    • MamaPagan Only about $10 difference between Comexim and Ewa. I'm about to dive into Krisline and Gorsenia's semi-softs also. They seem to be a good middle ground between soft and full-on padded...but, no good I know if you need a 60 band :(

    • 1

Ewa charges more for our cup/band combos so unfortunately the price difference for the two of us is closer to $20, more when you factor in Ewa's Paypal usage fee and higher shipping costs. 😖 (The price difference is less when ordering from MagdaBras4you of course! )

We are sized out of Gorsenia (aside from a few larger in the cup models with sister sizing), and KrisLine has yet to release their larger cup models in the 60 bands aside from the white Betty which I already have. (I tried to order several from the catalogs but Magda said they weren't available yet.) If there we doable options from either, I'd would have gobbled them up eagerly just like you!

I sit here in envy of the options and choices you have......😍

    • 1

MamaPagan did you see the Fall/Winter 2019 KL catalogue? When I saw it, I noticed all the styles with 60 bands and thought about you and smiled. They're planning a lot. At least KL is listening to customers...

In case you and Sovavosi or any of our other teeny ribcage girlies haven't seen it, I loaded pics of what's coming in 60 bands with big cups...

      http://imgur.com/a/3Six8WG

    • AprilGoulding OMG that's great! Thanks for this..now I just have figure out my KL size..lol

    • 1

AprilGoulding thank you for that! I’d love to try them. I’m still waiting for them to release their sports bras also.

    • Frazzleberry I am wearing the same size in EM. Gorsenia and KL...but I am below that threshold where cup sizing seems to go wonky. Maybe Sovavosi and MamaPagan or MagdaBras4you can help you :)

    • 1

Thank you AprilGoulding. I do have all the catalogs and had asked Magda about several but they were not available for order, and the fall catalog preorder is too risky due to my size changing often. I have ordered way too many bras that would have fit at order but were too big or too small by the time they arrived due to those hormones of mine, so a 4-6 month preorder is not doable.

I am officially on a bra buying hiatus for awhile anyway as we are focused on moving so no more bra orders for me. I have two Magda Ewa orders in transit but then I'm done.

I actually tried this from breakout bras, hence the size I provided, and in the nursing style (so with nursing clips). I’ll preface my review by saying I own 4 comexim bras, two in a 60HH (always too tight and used an extender, always slightly small in the cup) and two in a 65HH (that fit well previously), none of which fit any longer due to a size change. I chose not to order direct from Poland this time, and I’m glad I didn’t. There’s a couple things wrong with this bra for me. First, I had a hard time figuring out what size to order. In comexim ... sizes, I needed 2 cups up from a 65HH. I settled on a GG in breakout bras size. I was unsure if a 30 or 32 band would be best, as one of my 65s is very firm and one is more comfortable. I decided on a 32 after discussing with breakout bras. Unfortunately, the band is too loose. I can fasten it on the tightest hook and could go tighter, even with my preference for wiggle room. The cups go up unusually high in the armpit area, and the bra doesn’t let my tissue fill the sides, either due to the band being large or the nursing alteration, or possibly the cups being too large. My tissue is pushed from the sides and the sides flatten out where the nursing strap is in the cup. So maybe that is too tight and trying to function as the bra itself? I’m not sure, but it causes gapping at the top of the band on the side, cup wrinkling, and the cup flares out oddly away from my armpit area. No adjustment to the bra makes this better. I considered sizing down in both band and cup, but this cup gives me a good fit in the front and a size down would likely have some quadding. I also find the wide straps on this bra to be painful compared to my thinner ones on my other comexim bras. Overall, this rubs and hurts, which is a first for me when it comes to comexim. While the wires are narrow and fantastic, the high sides still lead to armpit discomfort. Overall, this is a disappointment to me and I’ll be returning the bra.

A very pretty bra. Comfortable enough, though I found longlines just aren't for me. As with most I own, not suitable for breasts as close as mine - I regularly have to sweep and tuck towards my arms, as any leaning or somewhat vigorous movement would make the tissue spill out.

Very pretty bra in an interesting colour combination. Grey eyelash lace over dusky peach/salmon satin.

I would consider it a true plunge, having gore height of 5cm (the other 2 plunges I have from Comexim have 8cm high gores).

It's lovely and it fits, but after just 1 wear I know it won't be worn as often as my Ewa Michalak S cut bras, so I would rather pass it on to a Comexim plunge lover so I will sell it right away.

This is a comfortable bra. It has been modified with altered straps and reduced cup height. I bought it from another Bratabase member and I’m really happy with my purchase. The strap on this bra is super stretchy, it is far stretchier than any other Comexim bra I own. I don’t know if it’s just this bra or the style, but it feels like it has a larger band size. I still feel supported in this bra and it is one of my go to bras when I am looking for comfort. Cup size works for my FOB, centre full breasts. I have problems with filling the top of full coverage cups and the reduced cup height works well to ensure I don’t have gaping at the top of the cup. The fabric is pretty, but the sparkles do come off. Be careful with initial washing as the dye runs a bit. Overall, I am happy with this bra and wear it frequently.

This is a great bra for my narrow/tall roots, even, center full, projected boobs. The wires sit right in my IMF with no extra space even on the sides. The only fit issue is a tiny bit of gaping right next to the gore when I'm in the smallest boobs part of my cycle. It's not visible through shirts though since it's right next to the gore. It's also a really comfortable bra.
This bra also gives the most rounded shape of any Comexim plunge I've tried. The burnout velvet is also invisible through almost all my shirts (the exceptions are light colored tees and thin, light-colored button-downs, but I wouldn't expect any black bra to be unvisible under those).

Bought from Breakout Bras, so the tag is in UK sizing and reads 28FF.

This is a great bra for my narrow/tall roots, even, center full, projected boobs. The wires sit right in my IMF with no extra space even on the sides. The only fit issue is the band - it's much tighter than any other Comexim 28/60 band I've tried, verging on uncomfortable. It's totally wearable with an extender though, and will probably stretch out. Other than that, it's a really comfortable bra.

This bra also gives a more rounded shape than my Comexim Basic Plunge or Gloria plunge, but not quite as round as by Belle de Nuit plunge. It also gives me the best cleavage of any Comexim plunge I've tried. The fabric - a beautiful mid-grey, edged with charcoal lace, is gorgeous (and invisible under most shirts!).

This was the first comexim I tried. I ordered from breakout bras, hence the UK sizing instead of EU. I'm fairly projected, center full, wideset with narrow & tall roots.

First of all, this bra is beautiful. The lace, the bows, the little shiny dots on the straps. The fabric is wonderfully soft. It is hands down one of the most comfortable bras I've worn. And the color is a perfect nude for my very pale skin.
Fit wise, I found this bra to be minimizing. The wires were a good length, but the cups weren't quite projected enough for me so it ended up giving me a flattened effect. The gore also didn't quite tack. However, the 3HC vertical seam construction meant that even though the cups were too small there wasn't any visible quadboob except for at the center when I inhaled, which wasn't visible through a shirt. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it - the lace is visible through some shirts, which limits how & when I can wear it.

This bra would be good for someone with average to narrow roots and some projection. Not suitable for shallow or wide/tall roots as this bra is pretty closed on top with a narrower cup shape. I typically wear a 30F and ordered a 65G. The volume was correct, but the shape wasn't.

Pros: super cute construction with soft foam cups and a comfortable band. The underwire is supportive without being uncomfortable, and the material is a breathable cotton blend. The band is true to size.

Cons: This is likely because the shape was wrong for me, but I found the part of the bra where the strap meets the cup to be a little irritating/itchy. The cups run small, so order at least one full cup size larger than you normally would in US/UK sizing.

Soft fabric with foam cups. Wires seem to fit a little wider than most Comexim bras. Bought this in a 65G/30G, but the cups fit more like a large E/small F. This style of bra would be good for someone with more immediate projection with even or center-full breasts and shorter roots. Unfortunately this bra was a case of correct volume/wrong shape for me. Wouldn’t recommend to someone with wide roots and shallow projection.

My shape is low set, narrow and short rooted, even to FOB, and soft.

This bra is simply beautiful! I love the lace on this bra so much. I lusted after this bra for quite a while before I actually bought it. Unfortunately, it cuts into my breasts and gives me bubble-boob. It's also quite minimizing, but I was expecting that since my 65HH - Comexim » Coco (381) and 65HH - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554) are both minimizing as well. I find the support pretty good in this one, but it's hard to do a great assessment at this point since ... I've only just tried it on (plus it's too small). The cup shape is nice and round, which I love (hate pointy bras). So, it's a trade off ... rounded and minimized in Comexim, or pointy and projected in other bras. I have soft tissue, so it sort of takes the shape of the bra here.

The straps are nice and wide, and it boasts a lovely 4 x 3 set of hooks. Great, since not all 65HHs I've ordered have that. It also has wider straps, which I like for support. The band is not toooo stretchy, measuring around 29" without stretching it to distortion. I'm sure I could have stretched it more, but the cups were starting to distort at that point, so I called it good. I had this made as a 3HC, which I think gives it a nice shape. I also had the straps moved in 1cm, and the gore is overlapping.

I wouldn't exactly call the material 'soft', but it's very comfortable, as I find all Comexims to be. Overall, beautiful appearance, excellent quality and great comfort.

Such a beautiful bra. Sorry it’s not a perfect fit.

    • 2

Perhaps they are already at maximum length since you mentioned being low-set but if not, you might try loosening the straps? They appear to be quite snug--loosening straps can help relieve minor quadding for me. My breast tissue is also super soft so it does not take much for a cup edge to create a visible indentation!

    • Ooh, I second wendybien’s suggestion. I have definitely been a victim of too tight straps causing quadding.

    • Looks beautiful on you! Too bad about the quadding

    • Ah, shame about the quadding. It's beautiful, isn't it?

    • This looks stunning! I hope you are able to make it work.

    • Thanks all!

wendybien they are all the way out, unfortunately. It'll be fine if I lose any volume. I tend to fluctuate between two sizes, so maybe it'll fit better in the summer when I tone up. It's so beautiful I don't want to sell it.

    • 2

It looks beautiful, even if it is too small. I like the look of yours far better than the look of mine honestly.

    • 1

yea MamaPagan i feel like 3HC really makes it look a lot nicer!

    • 1

Plus it looks more like a true half cup, instead of a triangle with high cup at the strap, you know?

    • 1

Yea I was thinking that too!

    • 1

Thanks MamaPagan . I think it looks really good as a 3HC too. I'm really happy with it (just wish it fit).

    • 1

As beautiful as it is, it may be worth ordering again in a cup size up. 💙

    • 2

Wilderness1 agh yes that's what I feared... next time maybe since they already agreed to a couple customizations, ask them for an extra few cm of strap length. Does the gore tack? If so, maybe you can make the cup edge relax a little bit just by wearing it... I've had bras with a cup edge that was just a little bit too tight/small and indented on me even though the rest of the cup was ok in volume. After wearing a couple times it eased up though, and a few times throughout the day when the materials were warmer from being on the body I tried to sort of gently stretch the edge a bit.

    • wendybien yeah, I was thinking the same thing about ordering the straps longer. I think I need it... not too much, but like 1-2 inches would make a big difference. My 65HH - Comexim » Coco (381) fits a bit too small too, so I probably should have ordered a cup size up, but I was anticipating losing 5-7 pounds, which would have made my boobs a little smaller... only that hasn't happened, lol. I'll have to decide if I hold onto this one and hope I fit it one day, or sell it and order a cup size larger.

The color and lace design are beautiful. Sorry it’s slightly small up the top.

This was the first Polish bra I tried, and I really like it. This particular bra is relatively shallow, so it may not be the best for everyone. I'm full on top, and it worked great for me. It's beautiful, and I am not disappointed at all. Right around the clasps it is a little scratchy, but nothing that can't be fixed. The detail on the top will show under a thin shirt, but the vertical seams are pretty flat. It is a good, padded alternative to a moulded cup bra.
