I love this bra but it runs bigger in the cups than I expected. A 60J usually fits me pretty well in Comexim, but this is definitely too big for me. I think I'd need a 60HH in this one, or at least reduced cups in the 60J. It really is an ideal nude bra- great projection and very narrow cups. I'm so disappointed that it doesn't fit.
This is a really nice quality bra. Its super lightweight but sturdy enough to provide support. It's also quite beautiful with its simple design. The band is a teensy bit snug and the cups run about 2 sizes small.
I don't know what is wrong with this bra, but I don't think it's my boobs.
In a band size down, and cup size up, it is still too small in the cup and too large in the band. Fits pretty much the same as 70J - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554).
I bought this from another user to work as a pale nude bra. The color worked nicely, but unfortunately it’s a couple sizes too small in the cup. When I swoop and scoop, I spill out over the top. This bra is a dusky pink with a light gray lace overlay and has dark beige straps. The materials are soft and it seems comfortable, but it’s hard for me to really evaluate the fit since it’s so small for me. The band is stretchy enough that it fits almost like a 60/28 band.
The Lace Nude is a lovely bra that fits very comfortably. I ordered it with a few alterations to improve the fit: wires of 55N and straps moved in 3cm. I chose the smaller wires because I needed more projection but also didn’t want the cups to be too wide. There is some wrinkling at the bottom of the cup, likely due to the small wires, but not enough to bother me.
Since my shoulders are rather boney, and because I’m prone to headaches caused by shoulder pain, I had the straps moved in as far as they were willing to put them. With the straps moved in, ...the bra stays with me when I move and the weight from my breasts doesn’t pull at my shoulders.
This bra is very comfortable! The only issue I have is that it’s just a bit too wide and shallow for my shape. Even with alterations, the wires are still a little too wide. My breasts are kind of flattened and pushed out to the sides. The cups are also on the verge of being too small, but I think if I go up a cup size the width will become an even bigger issue. This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Wires of 55N, added cookie pockets, straps moved in 3cm
Elena has Comexim's standard plunge style pattern, so nothing really to note in terms of cut. My bra came with four columns of hooks which is a nice (new?) feature.
They are cut the same and only differ in terms of fabric, colour, and embellishment. And price – Elena is 15 zł cheaper.
Basic is lighter in shade and is a neutral or maybe cool beige. Elena is darker and warmer-toned for sure.
Elena's band is firmer and made of two layers: one sturdy synthetic fabric and one mesh. The Basic's band doesn't have that top mesh ...layer, so it is a little more stretchy but not by a lot.
Elena has three brown gingham bows on the front, by each strap and the gore and the outer cups are covered in a stretchy mesh material. Basic has three bows that are the same colour as the rest of the bra. I personally find the Basic prettier because the fabric has a slight shimmer to it. Read more 68 more words
Gorgeous bra, well made, great support; everything you expect in a Comexim. The band must run a bit large on this one because I can't usually wear a 70 in Comexim. Update 12/2018: If it were a 75J, I could wear it again at my current UK 32H/HHish.
Purchased ages ago, but reviewing 12/2018: I have this bra in a 75J also, but this one is a better fit for my current size (apprx 32H/HH UK). I've read that black bras tend to run smaller and I'd say that's true for both of these. I'd like a smidge more depth immediate projection, but it's close enough. It's a nice basic black bra and the blue bow at the center keeps it from being boring. The lace is reasonably discrete under clothing. Band has 4 rows of 3 hooks each and the straps are fully adjustable.
I tried this one as well as the 75K (the next size up) and this is definitely better. I still have a touch of quadraboob on my larger side, but even under a T-shirt, only I really see it unless I move just wrong. The cups, though deep, do buckle right at the wire - but I have an unusual amount of immediate projection, and it is not bothersome. The 75K, for comparison, came all the way out to my armpits and much too high on my chest. I guess I technically could order the 75K with drastically lowered cups, but the J is so close that I just ...don't need to. So, pros: Pretty! Basic, yes, absolutely - but no lunch lady in sight. (With all due respect to all the hardworking lunch ladies out there.) Very good support, decent lift. Comfy. Quality materials and construction. 3 hooks, fully adjustable straps. Flat seams and lining make it a perfectly acceptable T-shirt bra. Now available on Amazon. Cons: Sizing inconsistency? There should not be so great a difference between the 2 sizes, and in the other 2 styles I've tried. No j-hook option. (Now I'm just being pushyhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Slow shipping. Update 12/2018: I have 2 of these now. Weight change rendered the cups too small but the bands are still firm at my current 32" measurement. Read more 111 more words
Purchased in Fall 2018, but I can't remember from where/whom. It has no label/tag, so the size is my best-guess so I could add it. It looks very much like my Anna Pardal Hibiscus, except the base is red instead of beige, and it doesn't have the edging on the cups. It's a beautiful bra with handy reconfigurable straps and 4 rows of 3 hooks. The cups are comfortably lined in red cotton. My only complaint with this bra is the straps which are VERY difficult to adjust. I have them tightened all the way, too, so I'd have to have them taken in if I wanted to go shorter.
I have added new pictures & do believe if I ever get around to lowering the armpit curve & shortening the band, that this one will fit without the wrinkling.
*8/11/18 update: I shortened the band to 21" and lowered the cup curve under the arms. While the wires are still too wide and the wing too tall, I can wear it. I still get a bit of quadding but it's not too bad. I will add new photos (if I remember) when I wear it.
**12/15/18 So this one was put away since I never wore it, but I pulled it out to try again. Unfortunately my boobs grew (or the bra shrunk) as there is a lot of quadding now..... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> Added updated photos
This bra is supremely comfortable. The fabric is soft and the padding moulds perfectly to my shape. It is invisible under clothing and gives a lovely round shape. The wires are narrow and the projection is good. The band is firm and feels true to size.
Same problems I had with Comexim Noir Plunge.. the straps were too far apart and the cups went up too far at the tops. The band was also too big, but that was partially my fault. I was running on the assumption that the bands were still running a full size too small, so I sized up. It was overall just a bad fit for me as my tissue is too soft.
The cups came up too high for my tissue, but at the same time, I was falling out the tops. It was my second time attempting a Comexim plunge and the same results ensued. The straps were also way too far out for my shoulders.
My much awaited Comexim Basic arrived quickly! The color is a nice neutral for a light skin color, and the fabric is a nice quality with a pretty shine. Basic but not Boring. In many ways the Comexim fit is what is expected, narrow gore, rounded and breasts to the front. I am glad that I ordered a cup size up (60p, 28KK) from my comexim 60o which was previously my best fitting bra, but quadding. There are some unusual things which I noticed immediately upon trying on this bra, and which were born out in the measurements. My other favorite Comexim band ...feels nice and snug, which I feel like my body needs to support the size of my breasts. This one immediately felt looser. It stretches to 32.5. For a 60cm band! The other major concern that I have, and I don't think is a quibble, as I could see it, and it is visible in the pictures, is that the wires do not fill the channels. There is a half an inch of unfilled channel, which allows a weird shape to my breast at the sides. I also included pictures looking upwards, and you can see a small bit of collapse, but more importantly a small bit of quadding in the center. I think that it is such a small amount, and this is after thorough scooping and swooping, that I shouldn't change size of cups, but I do not know what on earth to do in relation to the band length and unfilled wire channel. Should I try another one from Breakout Bras, letting them know exactly what my problems are with this one? As a side note, since I take my own pictures I feel like my breast always look lopsided as I have to hold one arm out in front. On normal days my breasts don't look so lopsided, haha. I'm wondering if that empty channel is the new trend, as mine was the same way, direct from Comexim. 3/4" on one & 1" on the other. Crazy!
I read that the Basic runs small in the cup in general, & we've (at least Sovavosi and I) recently came to the consensus that BreakoutBras Comexim bras run a cup small compared to direct Comexim bras if it helps. A Comexim direct 60P will be larger in the cup from my experience with the 28KK/60P from both. My Ingrid and Bella De Nuit were both from Breakout, all the rest were Comexim direct. Trust me when I say you don't want to try their 60Q. All ways of horrible fit!
Also, usually that minor center spillage isn't considered actual quadding, it's just the result of too low of a gore. I get that on all my plunges regardless of size or how well the fit. So no worries with that one! :D
I usually have extra room in the wire channels on my bras. My Panache/Cleo's, and my Mimi Hollidays all have wires that fill the channel perfectly. The 4 Comexim bras I have seem to have wires that are slightly too long for the channels and are pushing into the seams. The rest of my bras has a space anywhere from a quarter inch to an entire inch worth of space. They may have just switched suppliers for their wires and they just happen to be shorter than their patterns channels. You could push the wire to the outside of the cup and put some stitches on the gore side to stop the wire from going back that way. Or you could replace them from an older bra that you can't wear anymore if it really bothers you. And WOW, that does seem to be the trend in regards to the band, but sheesh that's a full TWO band sizes larger than the stated size. I would write Anna and let her know. I could see them making them somewhat larger, but not two band sizes larger. That's a bit redunkulous. Maybe they sent you a 32JJ/70M instead XD
I think the extra room is pretty common and is in case of some shrinking that happens when you wash your bras (for those who don't wash properly)
Comexim bands don't retain their tension regardless based on reviews though. Many members size down in band and start with extenders for the first few wears. :-\
This was my first direct Comexim order - and let me tell you, I was so hopeful for a perfect fit. I had previously tried a 60J plunge and found the tops of the cup to be wayyyyy too tall. Although the bottom of the cup was a perfect fit in this size. But given the huge amount of extra unfilled space at the top of the cup, I didn't think my fit problems would be solved by sizing down one cup size (rookie move?).
So, I requested this bra to have a reduced cup height thinking it would solve my fit problems. HUGE MISTAKE. The cup does not ...have enough volume for me. The bottom of the cup is empty and my breasts ended up smashed towards the top of the cup (quad city) in a very unflattering pointy shape. This is a fit disaster.
On the bright side, the band is wonderfully tight and the requested alternations were made - the gore is narrowed and the cups were reduced.
I am not ready to give up on finding a perfect Comexim fit. I just bought an unaltered 60HH from another user as an experiment to see how that fits. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Basic fits a bit small, so the other 60HH will hopefully fit better. If you find the plunges to be too tall and shallow, the 3HCs might be worth a try.
thanks for the suggestion! I will have to try one out.
I have been eyeing on this design for a very very long time. I know that standard 3HC of Comexim fit my breasts (FOB, average projection, average root width) very well without any modification, but I read in several reviews that the longlines fit different. Having in mind the problems with modifications done or not done I could not make myself to order this design. Finally I decided to go for the longline without any modifications, so I could return in case it would not fit.
So for me there is no difference in fit of longline and standard bra. The fit is exactly the same as for my 3HC ...which means stunningly comfy, a bit flattened but quite lifted. While this is not the shape an Ewa bra gives me I am absolutely okay with it and have several Comexis in my closet. I also heard rumors that the band on the top of the cups would make them more closed - I cannot say anything about this. I do not see any quadding or cutting in (except when I take a really deep breath and move my shoulders back as far as I can), thats it. But I have to admit that my breasts are really insensitive for closed cups. One has to know that the longline bras expect you to have something like a pronounced waist. I am more or less straight, so I hook an extender in the two lowest hooks of the bra for more comfort. I am okay with that but you might want to know. The design is absolutely unique and I love it (even if it somehow reminds me of a Christmas elf...) Read more 169 more words
The band on this one is VERY stretchy AND runs large; I'd say it fits like UK 34/36GG. It's prettier in person, particularly with the matching thong, which is super cute and comfy. Update: I didn't wear this one much but the elastic in the mesh wings absolutely disintegrated. The mesh was always going to be the weak point on this bra because it was a much lower quality than the rest of the materials; something to be aware of if you are looking at one. Comexim doesn't usually fail in this area.
